I just found your star sapphire!Marinette fic and i need to ask, does that Mari meet Deex Star the red lantern cat!!! I just feel like that cat needs more love in his life and everyone loves Mari.

I wasn’t planing on having ‘this’ version of Mari meeting Deex Star. I have mentioned before that I want other Lantern Rings to find Mari and one of them will defiantly have Deex Star in it. 

That being said though, I could have one of Star!Marinette’s space adventures being a meeting with Deex Star. It could be fun. Mainly because I see him getting offended by Star!Mari calling him “Chatton Rouge.” 

But you are right Deex Star does deserve some love.

As my tired thumbs type you this message, Howard, I begin to think of the legacy you have created. For you see, you have left a road of silent frustration and broken keys. Of love, of hate... Of guilt and of joy...

The creations you made, you helped create, and ones you invision for our shaky future bring me chills in the night. My skull rings with the words of guards, or the senseless noises of mutants— Of angry elves and deranged survivors. I spent many hours picking one of your many creations apart, and it took a piece of me away. A piece of me I shall never collect again.

But that is not all this letter is for. No, what this is for is far more personal. Something no mortal man can imagine without the help of a deity, allowing their mind to open farther than the third eye of the crumbling universe could ever see. My breath holds itself in my throat, knowing what I ask of you is a heavy task. And for this, forgive me. The gods have lashed my back with whips of reality and have hung my soul in a rope of consequence. My eyes are robbed of free sight, and the sound surrounding my miserable frame scream of the sins of the earth.

Knees like clanking spoons, dangling in weak fingers of small children, crying with innocence. Joints cracking and popping from the pressure of eyes I feel burning into my brain, imprinting me with the anxiety that shall follow me for eternity.
