Once again I am following @itselliandra while she gives make-overs to the Maxis sims that appear when you open CAS first

We start of with Mia Hayes, she is a very creative computer mastermind, she likes to do programming, but she also loves everything art

Dela Ostrow is Mia's girlfriend, she traveled the world with her famous fashion photographer mom. She loves fashion design and has a very unique style of her own

Their best friend is Noah Meyer, a bit of an odd connection because he is a bit posh and polished compared to Mia and Dela. He is very ambitious and wants to become a famous stand-up comedian

As a kid, Dela lived all over the world, shadowing her mum—a globally sought-after fashion photographer. That experience gave Dela an inherent sense of optimism and a deep entrepreneurial spirit. Her girlfriend Mia—a designer in her own right—helps keep her informed of trends outside the fashion industry.

When she generates in CAS, her hair is red, which I think looks better than the violet. I think it suits the yellow jacket better.

Since I had to update before I was ready to, I went ahead and got Growing Together. I started a new vanilla save with the Maxis sims Dela Ostrow and Mia Hayes and gave them minor makeovers. I figured I'd share some of my gameplay. This is a one-off post so I'm just posting everything together.

Here's the happy couple with their new looks. They don't yet know what they're in for.

I tried to set up a cute romantic shot but Dela had other things on her mind. Anyway, I decided to send Dela to have a science baby.

Oops! This wasn't what I had in mind for my first play-through with infants, but here we are. Dela had twin boys: Emory is on the left, Emerson on the right.

Here's Dela breastfeeding Emory. This is my first time playing with babies since using a ReShade preset with MXAO so idk if this is new or I've just never seen it: the newborns/infants actually suckle when you feed them which is really cute.

Mia gave Emerson a little forehead kiss. I really love this interaction!

I aged them up the next morning. This is Emory who spawned with the cutest outfit. I forgot when a parent has unnatural hair colors that their kids will have random hair colors. I couldn't figure out where the dark hair color came from. Emory's trait is wiggly.

And here's Emerson! I was glad they weren't identical because the similar names were confusing me lol. Emerson originally also rolled the wiggly trait but I wanted to try something different, so he ended up with cautious. The boys both reached the First Smile milestone immediately at age up.

Dela decided the best place for tummy time was on the concrete driveway. Poor Emerson didn't approve of his mom's bad judgment.

Both moms then went inside and left Emerson to fend for himself. Guess we know who the favorite is!

Emerson ended up getting the Frequently Sneezes and Snuggly Sleeper quirks. The tired mamas were expecting to put the boys down for the night and get some rest, but having to hold Emerson threw a wrench in those plans.

Luckily Emory had no trouble sleeping on his own. Wake-up time was another story. He not only hates wake-up time but also being held! (I didn't get a pic). I love how much personality the infants get from the traits and quirks. As a former childcare worker, it was too real lol.

That's all the gameplay I completed, but here are some extras I enjoyed seeing:

This is such a sweet interaction 😭I'm curious what other interactions are available between infants as they reach more milestones.

Both little guys got the Fascinated sentiment towards each other. I forget the description but it was really cute.

I'm looking forward to playing more with this pack. It's a winner so far in my book. Also looking forward to the rest of my mods to be updated so I can get back to my usual saves lol

sério que seu avô morou em Brasília? Adoro Brasília e sua monotonia. enfim, família é um pé no saco que quase nunca vc consegue se livrar dos problemas que eles trazem!

sobre as decorações, eu ainda to pensando no que fazer. eu tenho uma parede em cima da escrivaninha que reflete a liz da janela, e a parede do lado da minha cama que tem um espelho. quero algo simples, sabe? mas que preencha o vazio. quando isso não tiver tão abstrato, eu te falo mais sobre ;)

o pessoal do meu curso é de boa tbm? Kkkk o que me mata normalmente é a falta de responsabilidade com trabalhos! sério. a pessoa espera vc it encher o saco sobre a OBRIGAÇÃO dela. me mata. teve um dia que eu chorei de raiva porque eu fiz todo o trabalho sozinha, slide e os caralho. eu só pedi que fossem apresentar, e adivinha o que aconteceu? os bonitos não foram.......

queria ter tido uma irmã kkkkkk tenho um irmão, mas me sinto - ainda - muito sozinha.

sobre os diários, a finalidade para o que eu escrevia era diferente da sua. eu me sinto muito sozinha a maioria do tempo, e eu odeio dizer como eu me sinto porque me faz sentir muito vulnerável. escrever pro diário me fazia sentia segura e por isso eu poderia expor meus sentimentos? ao contrário de vc, eu quero que ninguém saiba sobre mim..... porém, entendo sej raciocínio e acho que é algo que vale a pena continuar sendo feito.

Klim, me perdoe pela demora. não tem nada de interessante acontecendo comigo pra ser sincera. to muito ansiosa pela volta da facul (umas três semanas ainda), ta chovendo bastante por aqui e eu to lendo clarice lispector (minha fav). me fala qualquer coisa sobre vc (apesar de isso ser público, eu gosto de pensar que é suuuuper secreto e é só entre você e eu).

Bem, os dias têm sido ocupados por atividades cotidianas. Apesar de já ter me adaptado bastante à nova rotina, sinto que ainda tô com preguiça de incorporar coisas novas nela. Mas, aos poucos tenho colocado em prática alguns planos antigos que fiz quando ainda estudava, para quando chegasse esse momento. Sabe, por mais que eu tenha feito um curso admirável e incrível, nem tudo se aprende na faculdade. Tem muita coisa que hoje vejo com outros olhos, mais maturidade. Por exemplo, hoje sou mais paciente comigo e tenho menos auto cobranças, então aproveito para, agora, tentar novamente.

Fiz papel esses dias. Digo, reciclei papel. E como toda arte, é um processo intenso, e que me deixou cheia de pensamentos. Quanto tempo para o papel descansar, moldar, secar, para pegar o jeito. Acho que todo mundo deveria fazer algo com as mãos, isso ensina tantas coisas que um texto jamais ensinaria. Confesso que fiquei emocionada por ver algo assim nascendo das minhas mãos. O próximo passo será confeccionar meu novo diário com esse papel, já que meu atual está terminando. Mas ainda estou tentando encontrar a melhor forma já que tudo é muito delicado e não tem uma fórmula, às vezes você acerta, às vezes erra. Até agora só fiquei contente com uma das folhas que fiz.

Estou lendo um livro da Fayga Ostrower chamado Criatividade e Processos de Criação. Na abordagem dela, conta que a ideia do artista louco é completamente equivocada. Ninguém "louco" seria capaz de criar, ou, sendo assim, criar é o momento que nos torna sãos. O ser humano baseia suas criações em seus próprios conflitos, o que gera intermináveis temáticas para criar. Nosso estado mental define o como será feito, mas não o porquê será feito.

Terminei de ler Torto Arado e ainda estou digerindo. É um livro lancinante, uma ferida aberta. Narra o que aconteceu e acontece com os povos quilombolas no Brasil, pelo olhar de duas irmãs. Não é uma narrativa com floreios, apesar de algumas citações me deixarem pensativa. Escrevendo isso, percebi que sou boa em fazer qualquer tipo de análise, menos literária, rs. O que só prova meu ponto de vista de que penso com imagens e depois palavras. Ou seja, com conceitos menos concretos.

Também estou gostando de acompanhar @/antiquariant no Instagram. Ela leva a vida com uma estética dark academia anos 20 e fico babando nos achados de antiquário dela. Também foi ela que re-despertou meu interesse em games, e pretendo jogar Skyrim assim que conseguir instalar no PC. É um jogo de RPG que se passa no medievo com dragões e afins. Ainda vou explorá-lo. E falando nisso, também tenho assistido as gameplays do Alan de Hogwarts Legacy, por causa dessa moça lembrei que esse jogo tinha sido lançado, e por isso minha súbita fixação neste universo novamente.

Sinto muito que isso do trabalho tenha acontecido com você! Eu tive problemas de trabalho em grupo só uma vez, porque no meu curso a gente raramente fazia seminários ou coisa do tipo. E foi mais ou menos isso, eu e minha amiga fizemos quase tudo, mas como o professor não era criterioso, foi de boas. E também ele não daria maior parte da nota pelo trabalho, e sim pela produção individual (era cerâmica) de cada um. Mas percebo o quanto as pessoas vão para a faculdade sem qualquer senso de responsabilidade e/ou autonomia...

Independente dos motivos, super apoio você ter um diário! Acho tão mágico. Na verdade, meu diário é um total esquema dos meus pensamentos, porque anoto tanta coisa nele! Mas porque você se sente tão sozinha? Se estiver confortável em responder, claro. Quer dizer, acho que isso é do ser humano, né? também me senti assim por muito tempo. Mas falando sobre isso, ter irmãs às vezes implica em você se comparar bastante com elas. E por muito tempo, pra mim, parecia que eu não as tinha. Foi só depois que amadureci um pouco que nossa relação melhorou (mas pode melhorar mais).

For her Makeover Challenge look, we're doing two posts because I wanna show you who I'm working on (and also get a glimpse of Antonia out of drag)!

I decided to work with Dela Ostrow (she/her) who is available on the Gallery under Maxis's official account. She is confirmed to be a Lesbian or Sapphic based on my research, and this makeover was based off of one of the oldest LGBTQIA+ hotlines in the UK
