So I noticed this post going around again and decided to work on this a bit more.

I made some sketches of the few visual things I actually remember in from the dream.

First one is this one, it was a garden that Liu Kang, Smoke, and Kuai Liang were talking in.

This second one is some weird ice covered mine that Bi Han had been hiding in (which I'm not sure why that wasn't the one of the first places Kuai Liang looked, like of course the CRYOMANCER was going to be somewhere isolated and cold). It's hard to explain really, but know that the top isn't blue because of the sky, the ceiling is made of clear blue ice.

The last one I made was Kung Lao finding Bi Han which pretty much went like this,

Kung Lao: Please come back.

Bi Han: No.

Kung Lao: Please, Kuai Liang is in danger.

Bi Han: (summons ice) Fuck off.

I have an Au if you want to give your thoughts on it :):

The basic idea is that Kuai Liang and Bi-Han are actually Frost/Ice Demons originally from the Netherrealm and worshiped by the Lin Kuei due to their powerful and deadly nature. They work with Quan Chi sometimes but often wonder their own corner of the Netherrealm, unless they get summoned by humans( rich is rare in itself)

Hanzo on the other hand is a demon Hunter who dies and becomes a vengeful spirit in the Netherrealm due to his family and clan supposly dying due to the Ice Demon that the Lin Kuei worship and seeks his revenge. However he encounters Kaui Liang

Okay, interesting. I know that the ask got cut off but I will say my thoughts on what was able to be shown here.

So, my thoughts....I can see this AU 100% and it is a very valid AU. I am loving where this is going and think it's a pretty damn solid AU.

COLLEGE AND POWER'S AU TIME.

Hanzo hisashi: (dead and hell fire)he's obviously the mysterious quiet man and doesn't open up to anyone except for hatsune.

Hatsune: (nether and chaos magic) hatsune is the mysterious responsible woman who doesn't open up to anyone and is also a painter and secretly paints stuff she's also carries a staff around.

Sareena:(demon magic)the female jock woman who always causes trouble and makes people open up but still makes it to the top.

Harumi: (aura magic) the mom of the group making sure everyone is taking care of themselves she is also in the theater club.

Kakkō(@angelbroad ): (shape shifting magic)the one high school student who spends most of their time in college and is a huge trouble maker they are the best tech wizard.

Syzoth: (reptile shapreshift magic)the shy introvert emo kid who is actually a pretty nice guy he also enjoys to paint murals and stuff with hatsune.

Ashrah: (light magic) vice president of the college id usually at war with the president and is sareenas older sister.

Raiden: (lightning ant thunder magic) the kid that is a huge know it all and is actually a sweetheart.

Johnny: (aura magic) the popular bisexual kid who is pretty chill with everything plus he's in a fight for the title of drama king against the president.

Kenshi: (telekinesis and sword magic)the rich kid who is closed off because he doesn't trust many people he usually hangs out with raiden and syzoth.

Kung lao: (teleportatiob magic) the jock of the team who is pretty athletic most of the time and has a crush on the nerd.

Fujina: (wind magic) the nerd who is also a fighter and protects their older brother raiden she also kind of likes the jock.

Kitana: (wind magic)the rich kid who isn't that much of a bitch then everyone thinks but is actually really nice loves hanging out with the lin kuei noble kids (Tomas, bi-han, kuai and harumi)

Mileena: (aura magic)rebellious rich kid who loves hanging out more with the rebels (hatsune, hanzo, kakkō and sareena)

Tanya: (aura magic) the body guard kid who is hored to protect the rich rebel and accidentally falls in love with her without realising it.

Rain: (water magic) responsible noble kid who is the rival of the hatsune since they are both high mages in this au and best painters.

Reiko: (shield magic) the mean boy who is soft inside and is mean because of huge ego.

Havik: (dead magic) the cult kid out there and is also a mean boy.

Now all I can think about is a Hazbin MK AU where all the roster are sinners living in hell and trying to figure out what they would all look like based off the known canon of how sinners get their look in the show being: how they looked in life, how they died, and personality. Thank you @running-with-the-feels for the brain worm. I hope you’re proud of yourself.

Frost: This one is easy, she’s an Ice Demon with pale blue skin and jagged ice hair. She died before freezing to death. She aims to be an overlord one day but has yet to amass any real power.

Takeda: A bit harder. I’m thinking Manticore Demon. His hair could easily be translated into a lions mane and it would also give him a scorpion’s tail and a small bit of fire from the dragon bit. How he died? Maybe mauled by animals? I don’t know, but the multiple animals his demon form is composed of can be used as a visual metaphor for the whole multiple dads thing he has going on. He sold his soul/works for one of the more powerful overlords in hell, Scorpion, but their relationship is more father and son then it is object and owner or boss and employee.

Scorpion: Easy. Copy and Paste. He was murder with his clan and his body was burned in the rubble. Now he’s a powerful overlord in hell with thousands of souls at his command, Takeda being his right hand and one of the more powerful souls at his disposal. He has a terrifying reputation but he mostly just looks after his people and territory and is more than willing to work with other overlords to keep the peace.

Jacqui: I don’t have much for her other than she’s a Medusa Demon that died from a snake bite.

Kuai Liang: Just like Frost, he is an Ice Demon that died by freezing to death. He is an overlord that used to have territory disputes with Scorpion but they have since made peace and formed an alliance.

That’s all I got so far. The rest might come in time, who knows.

Bi Han and Kuai Liang work out a marriage pact between Hanzo and Frost so that Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei can fully be at peace.

Frost absolutely hates this. She’s enraged that her father would choose that Shirai Ryu dog as her consort. She is Lin Kuei royalty, the realm’s first ice demon and now she must marry someone as lowly as Kuai Liang’s ward?!

But the real reason she resists the engagement is because she’s gay asf and she’s been pining for Cassandra Cage since the day they met.

For the demon kaui Laing Au;

Kuai is just a full on menace but not like in a destructive sense but because they people he makes pact with just can’t follow the rules of the pact so in a sense he fucks them up if they complete their end of the deal like they promised him. Like he made a pact with a vengeance filled spirit who Kuai would help find and kill their enemie who killed them as long they don’t hurt others who had nothing to do with it, spirit breaks the pact and Kuai devours his soul, which also increases Kuai’s own power, Hanzo is the first being to actually hold up his end of the pact

I love this idea, its so in character

I also think that with Hanzo being the first to hold up his end of the bargain, Kuai Liang falls Really Hard the moment Hanzo spares Bi-Han and Tomáš. It's just instant heart eyes

Here’s all the cryomancer kids from my AU (and adult Satoshi).

On the left side is Kuai Liang and Skarlet’s three kids. I don’t have names for them yet but I do have a good idea of what I wanted them to look like.

The two demon looking ones on the right are Bi Han and Sareena’s two and the bottom one is Satoshi cause I didn’t want to leave any blank spots.

Raiden and Fujin still hold the position of gods.

Liu Kang is still the Champion of Earthrealm. and Kung Lao, one of the defenders of Earthrealm and Liu Kang's childhood best friend.

The Mortal Kombat tournament's goal is the same as its goal in the previous timelines, which is a decision whether Outworld conquer the other realms or not.

King Jerrod died at the hands of one of Shinnok's demons at this AU and Sindel had nothing to do with it.

Quan Chi works under Shinnok's command.

Shang Tsung was a resident of Earthrealm, like previous eras, but after he learned sorcery and found the Well of Souls on that island, he made his life longer.

Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are the deadly alliance who suddenly become parents to a baby dragon.

Bo Rai Cho is Madam Bo's son in this AU. Originally, they were from Outworld, but thanks to Bo Rai ho's friendship with Raiden and Fujin, they moved to Earthrealm.

Shao Kahn, instead of being an evil, tyrannical, and discontented Khan, is like a governor, while Sindel is the queen. He's not entirely evil, more like a controlling and crule, yet caring person of Outworld.

Yes, Shao Kahn likes Sindel, but he prefers to keep his distance and take things professionally.

Like previous eras, Reiko is an Outworld General. He is almost the same age as Shao Kahn, if not a few years younger. Like MK 4, he has white hair on the sides.

Li Mei, like previous eras, is like a teenager who has entered puberty. She works under Shao Kahn as a scout and fighter, wanting to protect Sun Do, the village where she grew up.

The way Liu Kang and Kitana meet is the same as in Mk 9, but with a few more lengthy dialogues.

Mileena was created from Kitana's flesh and blood when she was an infant, so they are like twins and they grew up together, and therefore Kitana considers Mileena her sister.

Mileena, Tanya and Rain are besties.

Amara was a close friend of Jerrod and Sindel, and after the love affair between Amara and Argus, and how the god took the infant, and Amara's death from grief, the two lost their faith in Argus.

Amara died because of her grief over the loss of her son, and he was dear to her. Jerrod tried to find Rain for years until he finally found him, but it was too late, as the young boy had lost his mother’s love.

Rain grew up alongside Kitana and Mileena as a brother, Although he did not view them as his family, they were his safe haven.

Jade and her parents are there, and since we have not obtained an official name for them, as far as I know, I will give them names that I think are appropriate. The names of the gemstones are genderless, so he's Bryel, which is a pale green gemstone.

For Jade's mother, her name would be "Donia," which means world or life. “Donia” is an oriental feminine name given to girls, whether in Persian or Arab countries.

Jade and Kitana were childhood playmates, and now Jade is Kitana's best friend, her personal bodyguard, and the comfort of her sadness and loneliness.

A little Smokey Jade (Jade x Smoke) because they seemed more convincing to me than Kotal and Jade.

The Lin Kuai are there. The Grandmaster of Lin Kuai is currently the father of Bi-Han and Kuai Liang, and since we don't have a name for him, we'll call him "Artik" as a bit of a mockery of Arctika, but we like the place, not the person.

Do you remember Oniro? Grandmaster of Lin Kuai in Mythologys? Sektor's father? Yes, the man is there, but as the right hand of Artik and his brother.

Yep, Sektor and the Ice Brothers are cousins. I don't know if the information is correct because I searched for the names of both Sektor and Cyrax, and on one of the websites they said that Sektor's name is Li Hog-jing and Cyrax's name is Felix Sam Kaweeson.

Bi-Han is Sub-Zero, Kuai Liang is Tundra, Tomas Vrbada is Smoke.

HeadCanon said their family name is "Kuai". Example: Kuai Liang, Kuai Lisa, and Kuai Bi-Han, but Bi-Han does not use the last name.

Tomas is not adopted and is a friend of Kuai Liang, and Bi-Han treats him friendly and like a brother.

To return to the thing that most Mortal Kombat fans had previously agreed on, which is that the father of Bi-Han and Kuai Liang is a despicable and cruel man. Let us not forget that he forcibly took his two sons from their mother.

The age difference between Bi-Han and Kuai Liang is about 9-10 years because for some reason I feel that Kuai Liang could have been held in one hand when he first arrived at the Lin Kuai.

Bi-Han and Artik don't get along, they never did and they never will. Bi-Han opposes Artik while Kuai Liang complies.

Tomas is on the other side, in the middle. Like any Lin Kuei member, he listens to the orders of his grandmaster, even though he has doubts, like Bi-Han.

Is Tomas possessed by Enenra? Unfortunately, yes. But the situation is more like Eddie and Venom. (not romanticly)

Johnny Cage is a famous Hollywood actor who has TV series.

Sonya Blade and Jax Briggs are Special Forces.

Kenshi Takahashi is European-Asian, like previous eras, and I think most fans did not know that information.

Johnny, Sonya, and Kenshi are the trio who were forced to work together to achieve their goals, and now they have become attached to each other.

Kenshi and Su Chen are not in a relationship yet, but they are communicating.

Johnny is a casual disaster bisexual and an icon .

The Black Dragon is present and in the same condition.

Even though Kabal is with Black Dragon, he and Stryker are friends.

Kira and Kobra are a reckless duo who act like middle school students and Kabal is their guardian, and the Black Dragon trusts Kabal to control them.

Erron Black began thinking about all his life decisions since joining this circus called the Black Dragon Clan.

Kano? still the same.

Nitara? She is the only one remaining of her kind, because, as was the case, her people drank blood and nourished themselves until there was nothing left.

Ashrah? Her goal is to free her sisters from Quan Chi's control and achieve salvation and purify herself and every dark soul.

Syzoth's people exist and they ostracize him because of his ability to take on human form and his personality is almost like his character from MKX, with harsh words but good intentions.

Sareena was born with a natural emotion and was able to free herself from Quan Chi's control on her own with the help of Ashrah and Bi-Han.

Of course, my OC's exist, but with a few changes.

Notes: Fun fact, this was actually my 100th work over on AO3 :3 Anyway, I think this kinda makes up for Bi-Han being a crappy brother in the last fic.

Bi-Han downed another drink, even though it did nothing to him. He may have fallen, but he still had angelic qualities to him. And being immune to the illicit substances of humanity was one of them.

“You should probably go a little easier on the drinks.” Bi-Han blinked and stopped breathing. I know that voice. “I’ve heard they can be deadly.”

The person who was talking to him walked up from behind, circling round to sit at the chair opposite. Bi-Han couldn’t believe who it was, even when face to face with him.

“Kuai Liang?” He questioned, and his brother softly smiled at him.

“Hello Big Brother, it’s been a while, hasn’t it?”

It had been a while. He hadn’t seen Kuai since their father cast Bi-Han out of heaven. Funny, given it was always Kuai he threatened to send down. Bi-Han made one mistake, just one, and that was it, he was cast away. That wasn’t Kuai’s fault though, it was their fathers. He still remembered the agony as his wings were torn from his body, his own screams harmonising with Kuai’s wailing cry, before the weightless feeling of him falling down to Earth below.

If Kuai was also here, then it seemed father had finally gone through with his previous threats.

“He threw you out,” Bi-Han whispered. Kuai looked a lot worse for wear since the last time he’d laid eyes on him. That scar across his one eye was new, as was the beard. Most alarming, his wings were gone, and while he could have just been hiding them, it seemed far more logical that they were simply no more.

“No, I es-“ Kuai hesitated, swallowing and looking away. “I left.” Kuai blinked a few times before he looked back at his big brother. “Gēgē, I need your help.” He was fidgeting with his hands, and Bi-Han knew that he was nervous about something. “I am… working for someone now. He is trying to find someone called Quan Chi. I know you know where he is.”

“What?” Bi-Han did know where Quan Chi was, but how Kuai knew that he didn’t know. More pressing was whomever Kuai was working for however. “What do you mean, working for someone?”

“When I fell, he found me, and helped me. I made a deal with him, Bi-Han, and that’s why I need to help him find Quan Chi.”

A deal? The only beings really known for making deals were demons.

“What kind of deal?” Bi-Han asked, afraid of the answer.

“I think you know what kind, Bi-Han,” a third but alarmingly familiar voice spoke out. A hand touched his shoulder, and Bi-Han turned his head to look up in disgust at Hanzo Hasashi.

“I thought we agreed I’d sort this out?” Kuai desperately questioned, and somehow that made everything slot into place.

“You were taking too long,” Hanzo claimed, looking down at Bi-Han with a bored look.

Bi-Han knocked the hand off his shoulder, jumping to his feet and summoning his sickle to hold at Hanzo’s throat, shoving the demon against the wall as he did. Hanzo huffed, but otherwise looked unbothered.

“What sick game are you playing Hasashi?” Bi-Han hissed, resisting the urge to push the sickle into Hanzo’s flesh. “What are you forcing my brother into?”

“There is no force involved,” Hanzo replied in a bored tone, before his mouth broke out into a cruel grin. “I don’t do anything to him that he doesn’t want.”

Bi-Han saw red. He suddenly pulled his hand up, sickle still in his grip preparing to slash at the demon’s throat. Kuai’s hand reached out to grab Bi-Han’s wrist and stop him.

“Bi-Han, stop, please.” Kuai struggled to keep Bi-Han’s hand at bay. “When I fell Hanzo found me, and he helped me.”

Bi-han’s eyes flicked over to his little brother, his eyes were wide and watery, practically begging Bi-Han to stop. There was more to Kuai’s falling that he wasn’t telling him. He knew his brother, he knew when he wasn’t being completely truthful.

“What happened?” He asked, pulling away from Hanzo and turning to face Kuai instead. As Bi-han lowered his arm, Kuai let go. “What happened when you fell?”

Kuai blinked a few times, mouth going tight and conflict clear on his face. He cleared his throat a few times.

“After you were gone, Father’s actions got worse.” Kuai’s hand reached up to his face, fingers rubbing at the scar like it was hurting him. Did Father do that to him? “Everything I did was wrong. Everything I did made him angry.” Kuai closed his eyes and swallowed. “One night, I overheard him making plans. He wants you back Bi-Han, and he was going to use me to get to you.”

“But then…” Bi-Han was confused. If their Father was going to use Kuai as bait to bring Bi-Han back to heaven, why would he banish him?

“I couldn’t let him do that to you,” Kuai explained, holding his hand up and summoning a knife. “So. I escaped. I cut my own wings off, and I let myself fall.”

Bi-Han stumbled backwards, hand flying over his mouth, feeling like he was about to throw up. His brother. His beloved little brother. Forced to cut his own wings off to protect the elder. To escape the abuse he suffered. It should have been the other way around. Bi-Han should have been Kuai’s protector, and yet all the evidence in front of him proved that he had failed.

“It’s not your fault,” Kuai cut in before Bi-Han could react, already aware of Bi-Han’s guilt complex and habit of self blame when it came to these things. “It is our Father who shoulders the burden for both our suffering.”

Somehow that did little to comfort Bi-Han. But for the moment, all he could do was put his own feelings aside.

He’d make plans on how his father would suffer for all this later.

“What about him?” Bi-Han hissed, and gestured towards Hanzo with his head. “Where does he come into it?”

“He found me when I fell,” Kuai explained, his eyes briefly glancing over to Hanzo. The demon was leaning against the wall, arms crossed and looking a little bit annoyed at all the talking. “Father wasn’t going to let me go easily, he sent men after me. Hanzo has kept me safe from them since. In turn I aid him in matters such as this.”

“The sex is just a bonus,” Hanzo smugly added, and how Bi-Han resisted jumping him and beating the shit out of him, he really did not know.

“You aren’t helping,” Kuai growled between his teeth, shooting his own glare towards Hanzo. The demon just laughed. He shook his head and returned his attention to Bi-Han. “We need to find Quan Chi, big brother. He’s responsible for a lot of hurt towards a lot of people and we need to stop him. We know you’ve been doing work for him here and there.”

“I have, and that’s why I can’t just tell you where he is.” Bi-Han reached to take Kuai’s shoulders in his hands. “Like Hanzo has helped you, Quan Chi has aided me since I fell. I can’t betray his trust.”

“He is working with Father.”

Oh, how that simple sentence completely shattered Bi-Han’s world.

“It seems with me no longer a viable option, he was willing to make a deal with Quan Chi for your capture,” Kuai explained, his own hands reaching to cradle his brother's face. “Maybe not tonight or tomorrow, but eventually, when you’re no longer of use to him, he will hand you back over to Father.”

Bi-Han swallowed, “he’s going to betray me?”

“Quan Chi is loyal only to himself,” Hanzo roughly added, grimacing slightly. “Believe me, I found that out in a far harsher way than you have.”

“Please, Bi-Han,” Kuai whispered. “We need to stop him.”

Bi-Han grit his teeth. He hated this, everything about this situation was heinous. But Kuai was looking up at him with large pleading eyes and he just could not say no to that.

He couldn’t say no after what their Father had done to both of them.

“Quan Chi lives in a condo on the other side of the city,” Bi-Han spoke, addressing his brother, rather than Hanzo. “I can take you there.”

“Thank you,” Kuai replied, resting his head on Bi-Han’s shoulder. It was the same action they used to do when they were children and Kuai had been punished by their Father. Bi-Han closed his eyes, and gently pet Kuai’s hair.

“We have no time to waste,” Hanzo told them, completely spoiling the moment, although Bi-Han couldn’t say anything in return. “Let’s go.”

And with that Hanzo was walking back towards the exit of the bar. Bi-Han watched him go with nothing but loathing in his heart. If Kuai Liang wasn’t here he’d have killed the bastard.

“Please tell me you aren’t actually having sex with him and that he was just trying to piss me off,” Bi-Han huffed at Kuai Liang, who looked up at him sheepishly. “I know your taste in men has always been terrible, but I refuse to believe it’s that bad.”

Kuai gave an uncomfortable smile, one with a few too many teeth showing as he replied “maybe it’s best I let you keep believing that.”

“Are you two actually coming or what?” Hanzo shouted across the room, not giving Bi-Han chance to argue further on what the hell was wrong with Kuai.

Bi-Han gave Kuai a look that he hoped screamed “are you serious”. All Kuai did in turn was smile and pat his chest a few times. He moved past Bi-Han to go and catch up to Hanzo. Bi-Han grumbled to himself, but still went to follow after them.

Elder Gods give me strength to not strike that demon down before this night is done.

Okay, but Sareena as a rockstar eats.

a) Is she a rockstar herself, a rockstar's girlfriend or a rockstar's muse? Because I can see all three for her. Demon version of Bebe Buell over here.

b) How does she meet Bi-Han in this AU? Is she a fan/groupie of his or does he notice her in another way?

c) Solo artist or is she a trio member? I need Kia and Jataaka to get their flowers too.

I can see Sareena going to her first rock concert all done up with a disapproving Ashrah as her chaperone. Leather skirt, body on display,the works.

Sareena being dressed up for a rock concert would uncomfortably remind Ashrah of how she dressed as a demon, making her more determined to be a good chaperone. She'd look so good tho, leather skirt and boots and a spiked collar and dangly earrings that look like daggers. Also. the 80s hair bc maybe she watched old glam rock music videos. 🥰 idk i just want it. Ashrah dressed like someone's mom lmao. Ashrah would look good in mom jeans and a white button down tho.

I absolutely cannot see Bi-Han in a rock band, I am SO sorry. But I can see him as a manager for Kuai Liang, Tomas, Hanzo and Harumi's band. He absolutely has straight-laced producer energy, he has them practicing ten hours a day and Tomas is drumming in his sleep. Producer Bi-Han in a suit... and sometimes he gotta take off the jacket and roll up his sleeves.... or pull down his tie... 😛

ANYWAY! Tomas notices Sareena and Ashrah at a show and invites them backstage afterward. Bi-Han keeps staring at Sareena, so Kuai Liang and Tomas distract Ashrah so Bi-Han can get laid (bc he so desperately needs it). You know Sareena got PLANS for that tie. 😘

I love the idea of Kia and Jataaka being there, too, so maybe Sareena loves rock so much she gets them into it, and they start a band. Very Hex Girls meets the Craft. Ashrah begrudgingly agrees to manage them. They open for Kuai Liang's band until they get big.
