Made some progress on the Demon June post I made yesterday! This is Quon Starborne, an old fursona of mine (his bday is 9/9/12) and now simply an OC of whom is technically Ashcraft's brother. I'm going to take the piece digitally from here and make a speedpaint video of it too! I decided to challenge myself a little and add a background this time. It'll be cannabis plants alongside the brick path he's sitting at the end of. I think they'll look good against his color scheme. #wip of my #Fauns & #Satyrs theme. It's based off an #engraving from the 1500s (Satyr Playing Lyre by Sebald Beham) and after this thoroughly enjoyable experience, I definitely will be utilizing classic art resources much more in the future! Wip for my pride piece, which is going to be a self-portrait // the human version of Ashcraft wearing a shirt split in half with the trans flag on one half and the pan flag on the other. I also will be including the bi flag either as a wristband or another accessory. I'll explain further when the piece is complete, but all 3 of these labels - trans, pan, and bi - describe me.
