Felicia Atkinson is a French electro-acoustic composer and visual artist whom I adore. She collages ambient soundscapes, spoken word in French and English, reading poems, stories, snippets of conversations and essays...the atmospheric tension she is capable of creating renders me dazzled every time. For a poetic artist fascinated with linguistics, this woman is my soul mate.

I have always been someone to see pictures moving in my mind as I listen to music. It is very vivid for me. It's interesting because I don't dream much in my sleep....I consider myself a fervent day dreamer. Music really helps blast me off. I picked a longer song that would allow me to construct a more cinematic feel. I had so much fun making this, I think it's one of my favorite compositions in my life thus far. I filmed everything on my iphone, and edited it on my ipad and in adobe premiere. I have never used premiere before and holy COW did it open a can of worms for me.

This video ended up being extremely symbolically powerful for me. As most artists will tell you, often the idea we start out with transforms through out the creative process.... The first time I watched it through I was floored because I had just spent the last 24 hours manically edititing it in a stream of conciousness type haze, not really knowing how the story would turn out, just losing myself in matching the sounds to the visuals...So when I saw it, it was really like seeing it for the first time. The video allowed me to read into my subconcious and gain a better understanding of deeper aspects of myself. I'm always confounded by the way art communicates with us, artists and observers, through some kind of chaotic symbolic extremely personalized code. Sometimes it makes you think.....dude, it's gotta be aliens, right?

Everything in Jack’s life happened behind closed doors.

Business deals were signed within the confines of a conference room, he recorded his music in a soundproof booth, he lived his life away from prying eyes. As long as he was in control, he could control the narrative, and he could minimize the damage. It had worked well for him so far in his career; he held everything dear to him close to his heart, away from the world, for fear that it could easily slip away, and someone would take it from him.

There was a lot riding on his success, a lot of people who counted on him, and there was no way he could let them down. The more he took on, the more fame that came his way, the more difficult it became to protect things he loved, but instead of asking for help, he kept everyone at arm’s length.

Until he met you.

God, you were a breath of fresh air. You refused to be held down, and for the first time in his life, he was forced to get out of his head, and be here with you in the present. You felt like freedom, and as much as that scared him, you were worth the risk.

It wasn't until you were away from each other for an extended period of time, that he realized how much he needed you, how much you guided him through life, keeping him from falling off of the edge. Jack was in the middle of his first US arena tour, and the grind was starting to get to him. He was running off of minimal sleep, he hadn't seen you in weeks, and all of the days were starting to blur together.

"No, we're in Denver for 48 hours before we head to Minneapolis".

Jack flinched at the sound of Neelam clicking her pen as she took a business call. He had been sitting in the same chair, trapped in the four walls of his hotel room for the past couple of hours going over the logistics of his next few tour stops, and he was starting to get restless. He rested his chin on the table, rolling an apple back and forth between his hands. He had lost his appetite a while back.

"We need to decide on the setlist, Jack." Click.

"And we need to confirm wardrobe with your team." Click.

"Soundcheck is at 6pm tonight." Click. Click.

Jack forced his chair back, hitting the wall as he stood up, making a b-line for the door. "Wait, where are you going?" Neelam called after him, the slam of the door Jack's only response.

"What is going on with Jack?" Urban was already halfway to the door, resisting the urge to follow behind his best friend. He knew Jack like the back of his hand, and knew that something was wrong.

"He just needs a minute. Everyone relax." Urban calmed the room, pulling his phone from his back pocket, scrolling until he found your number.

Jack slipped his key card into the door, his show a couple hours behind him. His muscled ached, his body was tense, and all he wanted to do was sleep. He didn't even realize that the lights were on as he walked through the threshold, the room not at all how he had left it earlier in the day.

He let out a deep breath at the sight of you sprawled across the bed, his body slumping in relief as he walked over to you, tears brimming in his eyes. He had felt the darkness closing in on him, and he was too tired to fight, but there you were, a single source of light, his saving grace, just in time.

"Someone said you were missing me." You barely got the words out before Jack had you wrapped up in his arms, his face nuzzled in his neck. You placed gentle kisses in his air, stroking the curls on the back of his neck.

"I missed you." His voice was muffled in your jacket, his grip on you tightening when you tried to pull away.

"I missed you too, baby. You have no idea how much."

Urban hadn't told you much when he called you that morning, asking you to head to the airport as soon as possible. You didn't think twice about getting here as quickly as you could, but now that you knew that Jack was physically safe, you couldn't help but wonder if something was going on in that mind of his.

"What?", you caught his gaze in the mirror as he leaned in the doorway, watching you remove your jewelry.

"Nothing." He walked past you, his hand grazing your lower back as he opened the shower door, turning on the water.

"I think we should talk, Jack. I'm worried about you, baby." You heard a groan leave his lips as he rolled his shoulders back.

Jack would always shut down when you tried to have a conversation about his mental health struggles, and while he was doing all of the right things including going to therapy, those weren't fixes as much as they were ways to support him as he moved through his hectic life.

"I don't want to talk right now." His voice was low and gruff.

He stripped off his shirt, tossing it to the floor, his eyes never leaving your body. Your silk robe layed delicately against your curves, the front hanging open, leaving very little to the imagination. You blinked, and his hands were on your waist, pulling you into his body, ghosting kisses against your lips. You grabbed his forearms, trying to steady yourself as he deepened the kiss, leaving you breathless. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, letting the fresh mountain air fill your lungs. Jack scrunched his eyebrows in confusion, chuckling to himself as he watched you stand perfectly still.

"Ok, now say something good. Maybe something about how pretty I am." You winked at him, giving him a playful nudge, making Jack laugh.

"I AM MADLY, UNBELIEVABLY IN LOVE WITH Y/N HARLOW!" It was quiet until you heard a loud bleat from halfway down the mountain, a herd of goats joining in.

"Wow, tough crowd." Jack joked as you doubled over in laughter. He pointed at you, narrowing his eyes. "Oh is it my turn?" You pressed a finger into your chest, closing your eyes once again.

The peace ring Materpost / Timeline

The peace ring

was first seen in 2013 when Harry and Louis left Rosso after a dinner there. For this reason it’s head canon that this is one of the rings that Louis gave to Harry.

For years he wore it on the middle finger of his right hand. Harry wore it all the time and he very rarley took it off, aside from when he was working out/running or travelling/working (he didn’t always wear the peace ring for photoshoots but he wore it more often than not - for example the ring was there during Gucci or Vogue photoshoots)

For a long time he used to wear the peace ring in a special combination with his rose ring (here you can read about how Louis started following “The Great Frog” - the ring was from this shop - on Twitter just before Harry started wearing the rose ring):

This combinations symbolized Louis’ dagger (with the red spot on top) going through Harry’s rose.

In 2019 he started to wear the peace ring on his left hand instead of his right hand.

One of the first times that he wore the peace ring on the left hand was at the ONO for Fine Line on December 16th, 2019. On his other hand made his first appearance the Crown ring (Stevie Nicks gifted this ring to him that same night)

The crown ring became then one of the rings that Harry kept on wearing the most in combination with the peace ring.

For example he wore both rings (peace ring on the left hand) during Watermelon Sugar and Falling MV

And at the Brits on February 18th, 2020.

It’s at the Grammy’s on March 14th, 2021 that Harry stopped wearing the peace ring. He started to wear the Bird ring (it’s a ring with a similar antique style as the one that Alessandro Michele loaned to him in 2018 but it’s a different ring and with a different bird art) instead and alongside the Crown ring. The same thing happened at the Brits on May 11th, 2021.

During his tour in the USA (here there’s a rings on tour post) a large stone ring made his appearance and Harry wore it on his left hand alongside the Bird ring on his right hand. SO STILL NO PEACE RING.

The only 2 exeptions were:

- in Denver on September 7th, 2021 when he wore the peace ring (!!!) after many months not wearing it at all. And we’ll see later how this will become very 👀👀👀

- in Boston on October 25th, 2021 when surprisingly he didn’t wear any rings

After that night, another 8 long months passed and finally on May 19th, 2022 the peace ring was back but that was for just one performance in New York

And we never saw the peace ring anymore until …

September 7th, 2022 (EXACTLY 1 YEAR AFTER Denver in September 7th, 2021!) during his show in New York. After this date Harry wore the ring 5 times (during his shows on September 8th, 10th, 14th and 15th, 2022 and at the My Policeman Premiere in Toronto on September 11th, 2022) making it a total of 6 times in a row (after a very long time)

We don’t know the reason why Harry wore the peace ring exactly 1 year after the Denver show on September 7th but we sure know that the number 7 is something that is becoming more and more seen lately (here a post with some of the many times).

In conclusion I just wanted to point out a couple of things:

- the first time he wore the peace ring again on September 7th, 2022 was after the Venice Film Festival (when he didn’t acknowledge Olivia at all and he totally didn’t see Louis who was in Italy as well) where he wore the bird ring and the stone ring (his latest usual combination, see also the tour)

- he didn’t wear any rings in a couple other occasions (the TPWK and Golden music videos)

I created a separate timeline post where I keep track of every time Harry wears the peace ring so that this masterpost will only be updated when/if things change. I also created this sideblog to post the pictures of every time Harry wears the ring (it’s gonna be easier for me to update the timeline post that way)

I haven't felt like making a lot of edits other than requests and I'm not gonna leave y'all hanging lol! At least I'm gonna try not too! Anyways I've gotten more in the mood as of late to make edits and I thought I'd let y'all decide!

More detailed explanation of each choice

Speak Now era (candid) icons: I've made these a million times but I'll still explain! 😊 I love her style during the speak now era! Anyways, I find 9 (usually) pictures that I love either because she seems happy or if I love her outfit and I pick 9 different pictures so they're all from different occasions.

I haven't made these yet I've been meaning to but haven't so I thought I'd add it to the list. Anyways, it'll probably be 9 if I'm having a hard time finding pictures then I'll use 6 as the minimum. And they'll be filter and stuff like that. I also try to match the icons color wise or if they're the same outfit or something I'll put them together. Now if there's on that's different I'll put in the middle.

I loved how pretty this music video was! Literally so stunning! I've been meaning to make an edit of it but haven't! 😭 Anways I'll probably do 6 gifs might filter not completely sure yet tho. And I'll try to match based on color and if it's the same scene. And I also might add a lyric or something as the text. I did say I'd make headers for the Vault tracks! Basically I'll make it with Canva and I'll use a certain color that reminds me of the song. And an element that matches the theme of the song as well!

the first name that came to my mind was john denver. i had a BIG big john denver phase in my early, early teens. i guess that was the time i was discovering and exploring music on my own for the first time. (annie's song is makes me tear up ngl)

i dont really watch a ton of music videos but blur's beetlebum mv man....i watch it twice a week. for reasons (reasons= them bewitching eyes)

there's a quite old bengali song called 'saraswati nadi teere'. it's kind of obscure, it wasnt a part of a film soundtrack and it wasnt even on the album of the brother duo who sang it back in the 80s. but it's a lovely, lovely tune. sames vibes as jamaica farewell. my dad introduced me to it and we used to sing it all the time. the song always reminds me of him haha
