noritoshi is so that bitch who you hug and his hands hover over you. he'll stay like that if you don't physically move his hands to wherever you want them. Afterward, he'll hold onto the fabric of your clothes like a lifeline.

My husband's mom HATES me. My hubby travels for work a lot and I have to stay alone with his mom and help her out. She tried to get rid of me multiple times 😔😬. She can't move out for personal reasons. Help.

Okay, did I understand it correctly? Did your mother-in-law try to kill you? Is that what you mean by “get rid of me”? I am at a loss for words, that’s quite unfortunate.

If you can’t do anything about this via the traditional routes (like via getting her arrested), do your best to stay alive and collect evidence that your mother-in-law is deranged (as she clearly is) and present the evidence to your husband. If he doesn’t believe in you, get a divorce. What? You can’t get a divorce? Well I really don’t know what to say to that. Try your best to survive. Maybe try to have allies in the house? An outside party to witness your mother-in-law’s deranged behavior?

I think I am usually quite good at giving advice but to be honest the seriousness and the unusualness of this case kind of tied my tongue pen. I think this case is kind of outside my expertise.

Kingdom Hearts:

Wrote 200k words worth of fic for that fandom. For reference I've only done ~40k for Survive.

Most of it was for a rarepair that never met in canon because something is very wrong with me! A lot of rest was for pairs that have met but are still also rare because again something is very wrong with me!

I reread. The entirety of Roxas's diary from 358. Just so I could emulate his writing style for a fic.

Actually ran a gimmick account for a while! I haven't done that before or since!

Like,,,spent money on the game for the first time just to get a weapon that matched his outfit, built a whole ass shrine to him in my in-game home, GOT MY EARS PIERCED DO YOU KNOW HOW EMBARRASSING THAT IS, listened to nothing but his theme song for a very very very long time, bought entirely too much merch of him/him and Ayaka, refused to take him off my team no matter how useless pyro was even in floor 12 spiral abyss, and perhaps most embarrassing of all...read x reader fanfic for the first time since I was literally 11 💀 That man DID something to me y'all

Knew the manga so well that I could tell you exactly what chapter any given scene was from

Sent a different picture of Sasaki to my irls' gc every day for over 200 days

Got better at baking and learning recipes for friends as a way of expressing affection because that's what Sasaki does

We were totally decieved into thinking Asra was just some chill magician, with very vague and soft emotional expression, when in fact out of all the other characters he's the one who took the most radical and extreme approach to handle grief.

Asra isn't one to show strong emotions of course and he keeps a lot to himself. But it's just hilarious to me that Asra, who we've associated with being calm and often unconfortational, had the most unreasonable respone to MCs death. The normal thing anyone would do is grieve or stray down a darker path (mentally) but Asra's reaction was so radical and ..deranged. The story indirectly normalizes the concept of resurrection because of its extreme use and mentions of magic. Such as body transformation rituals, devination, magical realms, and magicial creatures/dietities like the arcana. However! the idea of magical resurrection was completely unheard of until Asra mentioned it. Keep in mind that even though Asra is an extremely talented magician he was not a practitioner of dark magic and mostly used his magic for self defense, daily convenience and showy tricks. The fact that they're in a fantasy universe where magic looks different doesn't make it sound any less delirious.

It's upsetting to me how the writing didn't push this narrative further, and underplayed just how seriously alarming his behavior was. The first instance would be when MC is at the palace looking at Asra's memories and we see a conversation between Asra and Muriel. Muriel only warns Asra about going back to the Palace and working under Lucio, but seems completely unfazed by the idea that Asra is trying accomplish. I understand that they were trying to be vague and mysterious about the context, but it diminished the gravity of the situation.

That's not to say that most reactions given to Asra by the characters about his behavior (in relation to magic specifically) are completely underwhelming. During the trials in book judgement when Asra revealed the events of the ritual the night of the murder, and stated that they were working with the devil to give Lucio a new body, MC wasn't fazed by any of that in the least, and does not even get an option to question asra by what any of that meant. The strongest reaction we see from MC towards Asra is in book death when he reveals he resurrected MC, and even then MC is too shocked to question anything further.

I'm not implying that I want Asra to be shamed for his actions, that's not the point of this at all (he's already been shamed enough for the most minor and irrelevant things by the story and the fandom) what I want to highlight is how the peace loving, confrontation avoiding, kind, and emotionally lowkey character had shown extreme forms of emotion and action at one point and it was just never brought up or questioned again. That Asra can have this violent contrast and duality and yet it's only brushed upon and underminded because of the lack of opportunities to speak out on it by MC and the rest of the characters. And how this kind of reaction is only conditional towards MC, and no one and nothing else. Which is unfortunate since there were many points in the story where we could have seen a stronger reaction from Asra (when he mentioned that Lucio executed his parents, or when Lucio stole MC's body again which should have been HIGH key triggering since we already established at this point in the story that Lucio was responsible for MC's death in the first place, honestly most scenes with Lucio could have went for a stronger reaction on Asra's part). Personally, I just feel like it was a missed opportunity (like most things in his route 😔).

it's pretty much like that with all fandoms- the most popular member attracts the most fans to the group but solo stans masquerading as ot- fans are jealous said member gets a majority of the attention and instead of looking within and reflecting on their own insecurities, takes it out on that member, justifying their words/actions by saying "but [fill in the name] deserves attention too!" or "[fill in the name] is being mistreated while [popular member] gets favorable treatment by the company!" it got so bad for sungjae. fans would tell him to his face that they got into btob because of him but their bias was someone else now. and yes, ignoring him at fansigns was peak disgusting behavior. and trust me, it's FAR worse and uglier in larger fandoms 😔

true. that's why from a certain moment i started to gravitate towards groups that have a lot of group stans, as opposed to one member stans. idk if they are more peaceful but i'm a group stan anyways, if i don't vibe with even just 1 member, i can't do it

i mean.... for a hot second i was in bigbąng and 2nę1 fandoms so....... some blackjacks would openly only support 2 members, because they either didn't like the others or 'they don't bring anything into the mix'. a lot of bigbąng fans are batshit insane, that one member that should be in jail had the weirdest fans. even like a decade ago they were already deranged. they would hype him up when he can't hold a note... and badmouth the other members as if he succeeded on his own lmao
