yessss, this!!
omg i came across a post earlier today about how "real" solas fans love him because he's evil. And it's a more popular idea in the wake of Veilguard, despite the fact that Solas was by and large Helping the cause in both DAI and vg. I guess feelings of moral righteousness trump actual actions. 🫠 Man, I dread that i have to exist in this world. Every time this thought goes by I hope this isn't where our future is going. But I didn't write this post just to doomspiral into the black abyss. I mainly wanted to complain about the wishy washy tugowar treatment of solas in vg.
I came up with a potentially logically coherent explanation for all this (to clarify, just because it's logically coherent doesn't mean it's correct or I agree with it). According to Veilguard's philosophy, we ought to affirm all identities/self-perceptions regardless of whether we understand them or not. We should affirm Taash's perception of themselves as a non-binary person as much as we should affirm Solas's perception of himself as a villain. At least in this context, it somewhat makes sense that all the companions bend over backwards to try to paint him as such after every memory (except that one time with Davrin ig, not that I even remember what he said).
I think it's quite stupid to always affirm someone else's perception of themselves. We can be extremely wrong about ourselves. But it also goes against my belief about referring to people in a way that doesn't cause suffering. Certainly, I've experienced suffering when other saw me differently than I see myself. But I've also learned a lot from them so it's quite valuable as far as life experience goes. Not all self-perception is made equal. Some are healthy and some aren't, and not even professionals can distinguish them sometimes. It's not a line, it's more like a zone. Bit of an abstract tangent, oops.
Anyway, I can't remember enough of vg to evaluate whether this logically coherent reasoning actually tracks in the game (beyond Taash because that's somebody who Definitely doesn't follow that philosophy).
@kaija-rayne-author since you wrote the original message, wonder what you think.
Suddenly remembered all the times that somebody said of solas in game "he thinks he's the hero" and yet THAT identity was never affirmed. Also, SINCE WHEN BRO??? I think I'm doing the right thing feeding my cats lunches that they ignore until much later, but that doesn't mean I think of myself as a hero. I have a responsibility to them to ensure their health and wellness. And same when i have children or need to take care of my elderly parents. Why did that take even make it in the game and get repeated so often? It's absolutely bonkers.
I need to repurge the game from my mind palace, it's disturbing my peace again now that I've thought about it longer than a minute.

“Personal Assistant” Pt 8
Fandom: Saw franchise
Characters/Pairings: Mark Hoffman x fem/afab reader
Rating: PG-13 (for this part I think? somewhat tame-ish)
Tags/Warnings: Feeding kink; weight gain; reader is an ffa/feeder (whatever you wanna call it); typical workplace inappropriate boss x assistant dynamic; pig play mentioned
Summary: Hoffman has been acting weird and tired, so you try to figure out how to help.
Author’s Notes: Yes, we are getting to references of Mark being an apprentice and his dealings with the Umbrella Health game… But his assistant is oblivious and is just there to have a good time.
It had seemed like there was a lull in any notable activity around work, and then, unfortunately, a lull in how much you were getting called into Hoffman’s office for the occasional non-business business. He had been weirdly quiet and curt throughout the past week, and you were thrown off by it.
True, he was generally taciturn, keeping his voice low and level anytime he had the bare bones to report to anyone in the precinct. Around you was the most animated he would get with his little flirtations and jabs. But this week, it was like you were just another one of the faceless employees milling away and sinking into the background.
The suspicion that you had ticked him off wasn’t even on the radar. You pissed each other off on purpose all the time, which was part of your fun little rapport. Hoffman just seemed tired, running on autopilot with less to say than usual. It felt somewhat sudden, however.
“Not a lot going on with the Jigsaw case lately, huh?” you sighed, intending to spark some kind of conversation, some bit of interest. Anything.
“Just more missing people on top of the already-existing pile of missing people,” Hoffman sighed, not looking up from a notepad that he had been doodling onto. “Which, one could assume is relevant to Jigsaw. But who’s to say?”
“‘One could assume?’ I like how you say that like it isn’t your job to know everything going on. Like you aren’t head of the investigation.”
“Okay, yes, but… Babydoll, I’m just tired. I don’t have it in me to play like that today. None of that bad cop attitude from you, okay?” For once, in a rare and (to you) adorable moment, Hoffman sounded devoid of all cockiness and was just straight up defeated.
“What if I took you out after work?” you offered, hopeful. “Maybe not tonight, but sometime this week? As a little treat?”
He shook his head, little dark strands falling across his brow. “I am completely booked every afternoon and evening this week. I’m behind on a lot.”
That was odd. You were basically in charge of his schedule (which he wouldn’t know if you hadn’t informed him of every detail day in and out), and it hadn’t appeared like he was behind on anything. No interviews lined up, no press events… Not even any mind numbing paperwork that had gotten lost through the cracks. But you couldn’t form the question of how that seemed off to even bother.
“Fine, I’ll get us a nice little lunch then,” you pushed on, hoping there wouldn’t be any resistance.
“Very well. But seriously, don’t book me for anything after 3pm this week. I have a lot to get done. Very important stuff to do.” He kept on doodling, his scribbles forming into what looked like a map with some course running through it.
“Aren’t I important stuff?” you cooed, faking a quivering lip.
Hoffman couldn’t hold back a dull chuckle. “Do I need to answer that? I’ll see you at lunch.”
——
Lunch was the point that had brought about what you assumed would be a helpful change of pace. In addition to whatever generic quick-grab you had picked up, you added in a few energy drinks, a sugary latte of sorts, and some extra dessert items (donuts, particularly.) Your logic had dictated that Hoffman just needed more energy—more sustenance—throughout the day to bring him out of his slump. What better than to fuel him with caffeine, sugar, and carbs?
You deemed it a necessary adjustment, especially if he was as preoccupied with late nights as he had implied. So it had become a daily thing. And, as it were, he was already fairly spoiled by the large spread you usually brought around… So this was, selfishly, just a little plus. Same could be said for the subsequent way you would catch him hooking his thumbs into his waistband as he strolled down corridors, or slipped his suspenders just slightly to the side to scratch or press against his belly. He was constantly looking uncomfortably full, shifting his weight gingerly with each wide step.
After a few days of implementing an increase in lattes, frappuccinos, sodas, brownies, candy, you name it… Hoffman had finally buzzed you into his office for one of his “Can we talk real quick?” moments.
“Yes?” you chimed as you popped your head past his door.
You made immediate note of the two iced coffees you had brought in just an hour ago now crumpled in his waste basket (atop many other wrappers and plastic vessels). He was now working on a tall can of something high in caffeine, B12, and cotton candy flavoring.
“Come sit,” he gestured to you with a head tilt.
“Chair, or…?” You looked from the chair in front of his desk to his lap, the latter being where he usually let you perch.
“Chair today, sweetheart,” he huffed with a little grimace and a soft hiccup.
Drifting closer to him and his desk, you could see why that was the case. A lot of his lap space was currently being occupied by a particularly more bloated-looking belly, creases in blue shirt fabric pushed so much that the fibers appeared absolutely strained. It was such an appetizing sight that you wanted to gently lower onto his lap anyway and palm at his gut until he nodded off on your shoulder.
He repeated your name, making you realize you were staring off, lost in your perverse little daydream.
“Baby, I don’t mean to bite that hand that feeds,” he started, cringing at the sound of the cliched phrase leaving his mouth, “but have you considered maybe bringing me a salad? Anything with a vegetable? I’ve noticed lately it’s been a lot of… pasta, cake, fries, pasta, pizza, donuts, pasta… Did I mention pasta?”
“Well, that does surprise me. You usually don’t blink at whatever I put in front of you.” You outed yourself there, you had to admit. He was too easy to indulge. “But I suppose some greenery in addition to all that isn’t a bad idea. Guess you just gotta eat a little more, which I’ve been saying the whole time.” You shrugged, innocence as flimsy as cellophane.
“Yeah, yeah, it absolutely has nothing to do with making me chunkier,” he rolled his eyes dimly. “But why so much of the same lately?”
You blushed, flustered at the idea of getting flustered in front of Hoffman, the big docile-looking teddy bear though he was. Or outwardly presented as. It was nothing to admit something he probably already knew, and yet… that flavor of sarcasm and cutting self-importance he carried around (thick and hefty as his own weight) sometimes made you tense.
“You’ve seemed so tired lately, Hoffy, I just… I just figured a little more sugar and caffeine would be good for you. You keep saying how busy you are, how late into the night you have to work, which… I don’t know what you could possibly be doing since I know everything in your agenda… But I wanted to help keep you going, I guess.”
“Ah, pretty thing, you’re too sweet.” His usual unamused pout shifted into something slightly more touched. “Come on, come here.” Once again he gestured for you to sit, but this time it was towards his thighs, which he widened as you approached.
“Easy,” he softly warned and you settled your weight onto his cushy thigh. “I downed all that stuff you brought me a little too fast.” He hiccuped again, punctuating the sentiment.
“Oh, no, I could tell,” you giggled, draping one arm across his shoulders, and the other over the crest of his stomach.
Before any other teasing words could cross your thoughts, something just under his desk caught your eye.
“I’m not trying to be nosy,” you began, “but is that… a mask under there?”
“What?”
You reached down to the offending item by his feet, nestled against an old satchel and some unused notepads. Lo and behold what you pulled up was a pig mask. With scraggly hair, for some reason, and red rims around the eyeholes. Its dead, rubbery expression stared at you too calmly, like it would speak if another silent minute went by.
You could feel the awkward grumbling start up in Hoffman’s chest. “Oh, that’s—”
“Hoffy, is this… Is this, like, some kind of fetish thing? Or something?”
You knew it! Your boss was already a freak, but this? This was another level.
“Sure. Something like that,” he muttered, weirdly tense and muted.
“It all makes sense. Does that mean I get to call you Piggy?” You giggled, freeing up a hand to tickle at his plush side. “I’m sorry, Detective Piggy? Is Detective Piggy still hungry?”
You were having way too much fun, while Hoffman’s eyes flickered like he was trying to solve an algebra equation. Whatever was obstructing his thoughts passed, and he settled on a stiff smile.
“You got me, babydoll. I like the whole pig thing.”
“Well good! Because you’ll never hear the end of it.”

How to select the best SEO agency in Noida for your business growth.
Tumblr media
In today’s digital landscape, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an essential component of any successful business strategy. Regardless of the industry or size of your business, ensuring that your website ranks well on search engines such as Google is critical for acquiring new clients. If you want to improve your internet presence in Noida, the first step is to choose the correct SEO agency.
But, with so many agencies to pick from, how do you know which one is best for your business? In this blog, we’ll go over why SEO is important, what to expect from a reputable SEO agency in Noida, and how to choose the best one for your purposes.
Why is SEO Important for Your Business in Noida?
Before we go into how to hire an SEO provider, let’s talk about why SEO is so important, particularly for Noida businesses.
Noida is one of the country’s fastest-growing business hubs, with numerous corporations establishing a foothold in the city. The competition is stiff, and ranking high in search results is no easy task. Here’s why SEO should be a key component of your strategy:
1.           Increased Visibility and Traffic: Search engines are the major way that people find businesses online. By optimizing your website, you increase its visibility to potential customers, generating organic traffic and lowering the need for paid advertising.
2.           Credibility and trust: People often perceive websites with higher search engine rankings as more trustworthy. SEO allows you to gain reputation with both search engines and users. With higher ranks, you will attract more visitors, which can lead to increased sales and conversions.
3.           Cost-Effective Marketing: Unlike other digital marketing approaches such as pay-per-click (PPC) or social media ads, SEO offers a long-term, sustainable way to increase visitors to your website without the need to constantly pay for ads.
4.           Local SEO Advantage: If your company caters to a local audience in Noida or its surrounding areas, local SEO can significantly impact your business. It increases your visibility in local search results, making it easier for clients in your area to find you.
What Can SEO Agency Noida Do for You?
SEO businesses in Noida specialize in providing services that can help your website rank higher in search engines, improve traffic, and eventually increase revenues. Let’s look at some of the most typical services offered by these agencies.
1. On-page SEO.
On-page SEO refers to all of the aspects of your website that you have direct control over. This contains items such as:
• Conduct keyword research to identify and integrate relevant search terms for your target audience.
• Optimizing meta descriptions, title tags, and headers for better search engine rankings.
• Content optimization involves creating high-quality, relevant, useful, and keyword-rich material for both users and search engines.
• Clear, succinct, and descriptive URLs improve user and search engine understanding.
2. Off-page SEO.
Off-page SEO focuses on increasing your website’s authority through backlinks from respected sites. The more backlinks your website receives from reputable sources, the more likely search engines are to trust it and rank it higher.
Several techniques include:
• Link building involves gaining backlinks through guest posts, partnerships, and media mentions.
• Social Media Marketing: Increase interaction and visibility by promoting content across several channels.
• Influencer Outreach: Collaborating with influencers or bloggers to promote your website and increase credibility.
3. Technical SEO
Technical SEO focuses on the backend features of your website that influence its ranking. A technically optimized website is quick, easy to crawl, and devoid of mistakes that could degrade its performance in search results. Services include:
• Optimize website speed for a better user experience and lower bounce rates.
• Mobile Optimization: Ensure your website is mobile-friendly, as most searches now occur on mobile devices.
• Resolving technical issues, such as broken links or 404 errors, that might affect a website’s search engine rating.
• Optimize your XML sitemap to improve search engine crawling and indexing.
4. Local SEO
Local SEO is essential for firms that serve the Noida area. The local search engine optimization tactics include:
• Optimize Google My Business by providing correct and up-to-date information.
• Use location-specific keywords in your content to attract customers from Noida and surrounding locations.
• Encourage satisfied customers to submit reviews on Google and other review sites to boost local credibility.
5. SEO audits
SEO audits can assist you in detecting any issues that are harming the performance of your website. Specialists can identify areas for improvement by assessing every component of your site, including technical aspects, content, and backlink quality. Regular audits can assist you in staying ahead of the SEO competition.
How to Select the Best SEO Agency in Noida?
After learning what an SEO agency can do for you, let’s choose the best. Here are some important things to bear in mind:
1. Check their portfolio and case studies.
A good SEO company will have a demonstrated track record of successful initiatives. Examine their portfolio to discover if they’ve worked with businesses comparable to yours, and request case studies that demonstrate the results they’ve accomplished. Look for measurable results, such as greater traffic, higher rankings, and higher conversion rates.
2. Read client reviews and testimonials.
Client feedback is an excellent approach to assessing the agency’s success. Look for online reviews on Google, social media, and third-party sites such as Clutch or Trustpilot. If feasible, contact prior clients to acquire honest comments on their experience working with the agency.
3. Look for a transparent process.
A reputable SEO business should be open about their tactics, deadlines, and price. They should provide clear, detailed reports on the progress of your SEO effort. Be wary of organizations that claim immediate results or guaranteed top rankings, as SEO is a long-term process that demands patience and regular effort.
4. Experience in your industry
While general SEO abilities are vital, it is preferable to collaborate with a firm that understands your industry’s specific difficulties and target audience. An agency with expertise in your field can provide more targeted and effective strategies.
5. Customized SEO Plans
Every organization is unique, and their SEO strategy should be as well. Choose an agency that provides specialized SEO solutions based on your individual goals and requirements. They should take the time to learn about your company, target audience, and competition before developing a customized SEO strategy that produces results.
6. Stay current with industry trends.
SEO is a constantly developing field. A top-tier agency should keep up with the current trends and algorithm improvements. Inquire as to how they keep their crew up to date on the latest SEO advances and respond to changes in search engine algorithms.
7. Budget and ROI
SEO is an investment, not an expense. While pricing varies depending on the scale of the project, it is critical to pick an agency that charges a competitive rate for the value they provide. A reputable agency will focus on long-term results and ensure that the ROI (return on investment) is beneficial to your company.

You know your tags on the idw sonic news posts got me to look into things: there are 7 issues of the main ongoing where the A cover (ie not only one of the regular covers but also The cover used for digital versions like what you'd get on comixology and apple books etc) does not have any game characters: 42, 47, 49, 50 (which notably was done by Sonic Team), 53, 54, and 57. Meanwhile there are 6 issues where the B cover (ie the other regular cover) is devoid of game characters; 12, 44, 46, 53, 57, and 62.
oh huh. thats quite the number actually thanks. it seems that its more non game guys the more recent you go which makes sense since the comic now has a foundation to stand on. however this is all very context relevant since the marketing purposes of the covers is only really an issue when theyre hot off the presses and being sold. hence the a cover gets the most precedence since thats what youre gonna see the most. it should be like a movie poster where the main one is admittedly pretty generic but guaranteed to sell well and the variants are the cool awesome creative ones

Rants under the read more
zhongli/Sung Jinwoo: its ok, Solo Leveling after-story extras doesnt exist, Solo Leveling after-story extras cant hurt you like it hurt me. Sung Jinwoo, after becoming mostly-not-human at the end of the novel, essentially immortal and self-proclaimed protector of the entire earth, I think should fuck the 6000 year old retired dragon god Zhongli. Like, I think they can get along. Honestly that's mostly it. They're both like, these serious authority figure type of guys who just want to chill and I think they have a similar sense of humor. also i'm half-convinced zhongli will find jinwoo's death aesthetic hot, old guy's ex-boyfriends (not canon) all have their own corruption arcs (canon) and hey at least with sung jinwoo his '''corruption arc''' is just him becoming death itself so like, win-win?? what was I talking about.. anyway ship Zhongli/Sung Jinwoo for the fun times thank you <3
Mirage/V2: they've never met. one of them isn't even canon. their AO3 tag has 6 works in it. I do not take the word OTP lightly, I will die on this hill.
Mirage (she/any) is a spoof character from a noncanonical visual novel-themed secret level about nihilism and V2 (it/they/any) is a twice-recurring game boss whose story ends in it being irrevocably crushed into paste (fell off a pyramid) by its predecessor V1.
because they're barely even in the same game much less have any canon connection, the ship primarily exists because of Dream's End Come True, a fairly popular fanwork that isn't ship-focused but it's the first thing that put them together. like a sort of... very tiny big bang for a barely relevant pairing. and then it grew from there! you can read it at which is a real URL to a real webpage I stg. or just search it on google idc. I do not know if you're an adult so I won't rec 18+ fics but any of the fics in the ao3 tag are well-written :) (a couple of them are mine too lol)
as for the pairing itself: two robots. one fake (yet alive) machine, lonely from living in her world devoid of narrative significance. she was never meant to die. one real (yet dead) machine, lonely from lack of purpose in a harsh, dead hell. it was never meant to live. and then they kiss! they both need the company and mirage's more human mannerisms and joy of monologuing contrast in a really cute way with V2's robotic nature and ability to listen. they're cute. i like them more than anyone on this earth. put them in this poll. MV2 SWEEP REAL

@incinerating-aureate-tora replied to [this]
Explain it to me =)
Okay -tugs up sleeves- the difference between pointless and purposeful epithets, here we go:
An epithet would be any phrase used to address a character other than their name or pronoun: the brunette, the teacher, the man, the insufferable asshole, the puppy.
The main difference between pronouns, names and epithets is that on top of them being used as a tag to signify what character we are referring to, they hold extra meanings.
Pronouns are pretty much devoid of any extra meanings (assuming no misgendering). You just gloss over them to know what character the narration is referring to next and that's it.
Names have some extra meanings. If a mother calls their child by their full name, you get a sense the child is in trouble, with no need for the narrator to spell out she's irritated. It would be weird if a mother was playing around with her baby and called them by their full name, wouldn't it?  If you're writing from the POV of a teenager talking to their friends' parents, it can tell you what kind of relationship they are in whether they address them by Mr/Mrs Last Name or their first name.
Names are used to point at characters and are often as 'glossed over' as pronouns but can show what kind of attitude the POV character has toward them.
Now, epithets hold even more meaning. They point at characters, they show what kind of the attitude the POV character has toward them but also shows what feature the POV focuses on when thinking of them.
While you're writing, you might be tempted to use an epithet to 'spice things up!' but here's a secret: people don't count how many times you've used a pronoun and name in the last paragraph. They gloss over them and carry on and that's a good thing. Unless you're writing things like
She got up from the bed. She yawned. She stretched. She scratched her butt. She wobbled to the kitchen.
People won't notice. And that's exactlywhat you want. If you thought the line above is weird imagine that:
She got up from the bed. The blonde yawned. The Marine stretched. The green-eyed one scratched her butt. The woman wobbled to the kitchen.
Are we still talking about one person or five?
I admit that was a ridiculous example here's the thing though when you're using an epithet, you're pulling the reader's attention toward this specific feature.
The brunette yawned.
Right. Okay. I want you to ask yourself why are you directing the reader's attention toward her hair colour. How is it relevant in this situation? Is the POV referring to themselves as the brunette? Why would anyone refer to themselves by their hair colour? What impact does their hair colour have on their yawning?
If we assume it's not the POV that's yawning but they are watching someone else yawn, again, why are they referring to them as the brunette? If it because they don't know her name and her hair colour is the most obvious signifier to differentiate her from other present people? Ding-dong. Congratulations. We have one good reason to use someone's hair colour alone as the epithet!
Another one I can think of would be that the POV has a kink for the given hair colour and finds it more important than their name.
Please note: hair colour alone. Things like 'the stupid blonde' can be used as an insult or a stereotype shorthand.
The next example: the teacher. Again, ask yourself, why is POV singling out this one characteristic? Because the POV is the schoolchild and they are always thinking of their teacher as 'the teacher' and it would be weird for them to call them by their name? That's a good reason, that pretty much renders the epithet invisible. Good work.
Is it because POV is the teacher and you need a replacement for their name? I'm not a teacher, nor am I you but how often do you think of yourself as your profession? I could see it happening when they are hyping themselves up to face a particularly difficult class, or being proud of the success of their pupils but on a day to day basis? Possibly not even at work or doing anything connected to the work. It's a pointless use of an epithet, use something else or rework your sentence.
The insufferable asshole is a wonderful epithet. It's flawless. Please, always use it on each and every occasion xD
The thing is that roleplay might be written from the third-person perspective but it's a close one. Everything that happens is from your muse's perspective, not some nebulous narrator spirit floating behind their shoulder and describing everything in purple prose. If you approach it like that: that's fine, ignore everything I've just written and carry on on your way. I read roleplays as happening from the muse's Point Of View and it makes no sense to me when they think of themselves as their eye colour. They can't even see them!
If you read a roleplay and imagine the mun literally typing the description of what their muse does instead of those things being perceived and thought by the muse, more power to you. Our writing styles will clash but there's nothing wrong with that; not everyone has to share and like everyone else's writing/reading preferences.

P3M#2 - Midsummer Knight’s Dream
Tumblr media
Makoto becomes interested in the Babe Hunt Operation for the first time when he lays eyes on Aigis.
He is literally awestruck when he sees her. Their meeting also has their own theme song: Confessions.
Later that night, Yukari and Makoto are attacked by Shadows and Aigis comes to save them. Makoto's eyes start trembling as soon as he sees her.
Once Aigis destroys all Shadows, she hugs a stunned Makoto and declares that she has always been searching for him and that her highest priority is to be by his side.
Ikutsuki explains that Aigis suddenly reactivated on her own that day, and Aigis says that she doesn't know why that was but that it's very important for her to be by Makoto's side, much to his surprise.
Aigis wakes up Makoto five minute's earlier than his alarm clock. Instead of being startled by it, he just wraps himself in the covers and tries to go back to sleep while Aigis tries to convince him to get up.
Makoto is surprised when Aigis reveals that she can talk to Koromaru. Aigis points a distracted Makoto in the direction of the enemy.
When they get attacked, Aigis jumps in to protect Makoto. He tries to tell her not to go fight alone, but Aigis tells him that her job is to protect him (much to his shock) and activates Orgia mode.
However, she is in danger once she overheats. A weakened Makoto cries out her name, tries to crawl to her, and begs the shadow to "Stop!" while reaching out for Aigis.
Afterwards, Makoto goes to Aigis and asks her if she's okay. She says yes while messing up Japanese saying, and Makoto smiles and tells her that's not how she's supposed to use that phrase.
Makoto plays along when Aigis (unknowingly) teases Shinjiro.
Makoto goes with Aigis to the Summer Festival. They visit one of the stands together (with Makoto telling her she has to use the fake gun instead of her finger-guns).
They run into Ken and Shinjiro. The four go together to the goldfish stand and Makoto once again plays along to Aigis's humor, much to Shinjiro's and Ken's chagrin. Then, the four of them go to watch the fireworks together.
Aigis starts going to school, takes the empty seat by Makoto's side (while he smiles at her) and then declares to the entire class that she wishes to always be by Makoto's side.
They go to a cafĂŠ with Fuuka, Junpei and Yukari and Makoto is surprised when Aigis declares that she will no longer have a raison d'ĂŞtre once that Shadows are destroyed. This is most likely because he himself felt the same way. They are also sitting together.
Aigis separates Shinjiro from Makoto when an angry Shinji grabs him by the collar.
The following night, Aigis drops by Makoto's room. He asks her if there is something wrong with him, and Aigis admits that she does not know but that his actions were incomprehensible to her. She then reassures him that despite that, being by his side is what's most important to her.
During the battle against the Shadow Boss, Makoto hesitates and Aigis is surprised by this.
Extra: they're usually by each other's side in Group Shots.
P3M#3 - Falling Down
Tumblr media
Aigis is the first to react when Makoto wakes up. Then, they finish the Shadow together (Aigis breaks its wings and tells Makoto to finish it off).
At school, Aigis looks at a thoughtful Makoto.
Aigis notices Makoto leaving and goes to check up on him. Then, Makoto expresses fear that Aigis will disappear just like Pharos did ("You won't go and disappear on us, will you, Aigis?"). Then, Aigis reveals that Makoto and Yukari had asked Ikutsuki to not deactivate her. She tells Makoto he has nothing to worry about, but he is too weary to believe her and goes inside his room.
When Ikutsuki reveals his true colors, Makoto is on guard like everyone else. But as soon as Ikutsuki mentions Aigis, Makoto gasps in shock.
Then, he calls out to her and tries to go to her but Aigis stops him by shooting at his feet. A shocked Makoto realizes Aigis doesn't recognize them.
Makoto keeps crying Aigis's name as she prepares to shoot them. Then, when she liberates them, Makoto runs to her side and holds her in his arms.
Ikutsuki takes control of Aigis again, who crawls on top of Makoto and points her finger-guns at him while trying to stop all the while. Makoto looks away.
Aigis falls ontop of Makoto, who holds her to his chest again.
When Makoto goes off on his own, Aigis feels there's something off and goes to check on him. Makoto, who had been trying to keep his distance from others, can't help but to run to her and hold her, since she was still weak.
Their song plays again as Aigis tells him that wherever he is going, she wants to go with him. Because her highest priority is to be by his side. Makoto tries to resist her, saying that she'll vanish as well someday. But while he turns his back on her, he immediately reaches out to her when he hears her falter.
Aigis then tells him that she won't go anywhere and that she won't leave him be alone. Because: "I'm sure that is why I was granted this eternity of time". Makoto hugs her at that, leaving out a whimpering sigh.
However, by the time Aigis goes back to school, Makoto is back to closing himself off. Aigis is visibly hurt by this.
Makoto is then shown being the only one looking as Ryoji tries to flirt with Aigis.
Aigis objects to the idea of Ryoji going with Makoto and the others to the Karaoke.
When the girls tell Aigis that having a new friend (Ryoji) could be good for him, Aigis starts seriously reflecting on this. So, she no longer keeps Ryoji away from him but still keeps an eye on them.
Aigis wants to be assigned to Makoto's room during the Kyoto School Trip. So, she climbs to their window and asks Ryoji to switch rooms with her. Makoto actually doesn't react to any of this until Aigis tries to get Ryoji and Junpei off through the window instead of through the door. All of them end up falling, and Makoto laughs for the first and only time in all the movies.
When they get caught at the hot springs, Makoto goes "Aigis..." and Aigis says that it's been nice knowing them.
Aigis joins Makoto and Ryoji, sneaking in between them while they buy souvenirs. Aigis notes that Junpei looks like he's having fun, and a smiling Makoto agrees.
When Junpei tells Chidori that since they're both afraid of being alone and losing one another, they should stay together, Makoto smiles and says "That's it, isn't it?". The camera then focuses on him and Aigis, who doesn't get what he's talking about.
Makoto jumps in to protect Aigis from an attack.
At the end of the movie, Aigis's, Makoto's and Ryoji's memories from 10 years ago come back.
The movie ends with Makoto coming across a fallen Aigis, crying out her name and being shocked to see Ryoji there.
P3M#4 - Winter of Rebirth
Tumblr media
It kicks off with a flashback to 10 years ago, when Aigis seals Death into a young Makoto.
Back in the present, Makoto gathers the fallen Aigis in his arms. She tells him she remembers why she wanted to be by his side, cups his face and apologizes before passing out.
When SEES starts fighting Ryoji, we see Makoto in the back looking at Aigis before getting ready to fight.
Makoto goes to visit Aigis in the lab during winter, and it's the very first time he smiles in the movie.
He updates her on the situation and Aigis apologizes again for what she did 10 years ago, suggesting that if she hadn't, he wouldn't be suffering right now. Makoto tells her it's not her fault. He then opens up to her about not being able to remember his mother's last words and about wondering why she had smiled at him before dying. Aigis is the first and only person Makoto tells this to during the movie. Aigis then asks him to kill Ryoji in order to forget their pain. Neither of them look happy with the prospect.
Akihiko invites Makoto to eat to pay for his bet, since Makoto won in “seducing” Aigis back at Yakushima.
When Makoto imagines their Group Picture, he pictures Aigis smiling fondly at him.
When Makoto decides not to kill Ryoji, a distraught Aigis cries that she had asked him to choose to forget so none of them would suffer.
Makoto (and Koromaru) find Aigis at the school rooftop. There, Aigis tells him that she's got no purpose now since she can't defeat Ryoji and that she's a machine devoid of emotions. As an arranged version of their theme (now called “The Heart of Two”) starts to play, Makoto makes his way towards her and tells her that she's not a machine and that she's just like them.
Aigis confesses that even though Death is gone now, she still wants to be by Makoto's side. Then, Makoto tells her that he can't remember how the sakura were last year but that he wants to remember properly this time. So "Let's go see the cherry blossoms together, okay?"
This makes Aigis realize that she herself wants to live. And she says that she feels she may be able to find a reason for her existence "Together, with you". Makoto agrees ("Yes. Together."), and the two look into each other's eyes as the sky begins to clear up.
When the others get there, Junpei catches on the way Aigis and Makoto look at each other and asks if something happened between them.
Aigis is touched when Makoto says SEES will definitely regain their memories.
Aigis says that "She won't let him get in Makoto-san's way" when she fights against Jin.
Aigis is the first to run to him when they all get to the top of Tartarus.
As they get swarmed by shadows, Aigis watches Makoto fall and cries out to him. Then as he opens his eyes, Aigis fighting is the first thing he sees. He then looks around only to see his friends fall one by one. But he stays determined to save them.
Then, Makoto is about to get absorbed by a shadow when he is saved by Aigis. He turns just in time to see her smile at him before getting overpowered by the shadows. Makoto then quite literally loses his shit and screams his lungs out.
Makoto fuses Messiah and beats all the shadows. Aigis calls out his name. Makoto turns to look at her, smiles at her and tells her to "Live on." His very last words and the very same ones his mother told him before dying.
His Evoker falls by Aigis's hands.
A distraught Aigis can only watch as he leaves them, trying to reach out to him and screaming out his name while holding his fallen Evoker.
Aigis is the last voice Makoto hears before using the seal. "You remember our promise, don't you? Promise me... Promise you'll come back!" she cries out.
Afterwards, a heartbroken Aigis cries "Why can't I protect the one I cherish?" while holding Makoto's Evoker and looking at it.
In March, Junpei tells Makoto "Nothing really life-changing happened, huh?" right before Makoto sees Aigis watching them from behind a tree. Their theme starts playing as Makoto stops walking, staring at the empty space where Aigis had been standing. Then, this eyes widen. Seeing Aigis literally triggered him getting his memories back.
Makoto struggles to make it up to the rooftop, a look of hopeful urgency in his face. When he opens the door, there stands Aigis.
They smile at each other and make their way to one another. Makoto stumbles halfway and Aigis catches him in her arms, hugs him close and welcomes him home while he smiles, his head on her shoulder.
Lap-pillow. She tells him that what she wants is clear to her, now. She wants to continue protecting him and to be his strength. She takes his hand, they smile at each other, and Aigis tells him to get some rest because she'll always be right by his side.

Chocolate Box Letter 2020
Dear Chocolatier…
Thank you for writing for me!  I hope you find inspiration, if you need it, somewhere in this letter, but either way, good luck with your writing!
(some of the prompts are… rambly and disjointed; the lengths vary wildly, but dw I love them all.  I hope the rambly ones still make sense; this letter is uhhh almost 3k and my brain is Tired.)
General DNWs:
Rape/non/dub-con; non-canonical major character death*; smut/graphic sex scenes; heavy angst; hurt no comfort; graphic depictions of deliberate and methodical self-harm**; graphic depictions of suicide;  gore; heavy gender dysphoria; grimdark; complete downer endings; character bashing; incest; cringe comedy; a/b/o; mpreg; full setting AUs (canon-divergence, even significant canon-divergence, is fine); graphic eye trauma; graphic and/or permanent hand trauma (unless the setting can provide a more-or-less fully functional prosthetic or equivalent); issuefic.
*exceptions noted below.
**I don’t include things like, say, punching a wall in a fit of emotion under this. however, something like cutting would not be appreciated.
  General Likes:
I like family/friendship stories, things that play with canon in interesting ways, honestly… a lot of things.  I don’t know. articulating things I like is hard.
I’m an absolute sucker for identity porn/secret/mistaken identity drama, as well as non-sexualized/non-fetishized crossdressing (either direction, and especially if for plot-relevant disguise purposes!) and if you combine them, well, I’ll be a very happy camper.
Other things I like include wriggling into canon and exploring something left unexplored by said canon, what-if stories featuring some sort of canon divergence, and plotty fic, if you want to write something long enough for that to be relevant.
  Order of fandoms:
¡        Star Wars Sequel Trilogy
·        Super Powereds – Drew Hayes
·        Tortall – Tamora Pierce
¡        Carmen Sandiego (Cartoon 2019)
¡        The Dragon Prince (Cartoon)
¡        Frozen (Disney Movies)
¡        Little Women (2019)
¡        Original Prompts
¡        Crossovers
    Star Wars Sequel Trilogy
Rey & Ben Solo | Kylo Ren (Star Wars Sequel Trilogy)
So uh I may be having a slight case of Feels™ over these two, though tbh I’m not entirely sure what those feelings are exactly.  I don’t know what exactly I’d most want, though I’d be interested in explorations of their evolving emotions in relation to each other, especially through Kylo Ren/Ben’s whole death/rebirth thing.  What-ifs are another thing; what if, say, Ben didn’t die?  What happens, then, since they’d have to actually deal with what he’s done?  Feel free to retcon the kiss (which I thought was rather devoid of chemistry; in general their dynamic came across to me more as weirdly sibling-ish, especially after the Death Star duel) to a hug or something, if you want.
If you want to go to a lighter place, I can also see all sorts of shenanigans emerging after they discover their Force-teleportation skills.
Also feel free to retcon Rey’s parentage, if that is where your heart takes you: might she be Luke’s secret child?  Leia’s?  A descendant of Obi-Wan Kenobi and, say, Satine Kryze?
Apart from that I’d prefer no full-setting AUs; canon divergence is fine, and if you go that route you can pick a divergence point as far back as you want.
Feel free to include whatever other characters are necessary for the story you want to tell.
(And also do keep in mind that you can absolutely cut off someone’s hand here, or for the Star Wars crossover farther down; in this franchise it is a goddamn motif.)
    Super Powereds – Drew Hayes
Adam Riley & George Russel | Relentless Steel (Super Powereds)
I’m utterly fascinated by the relationship these two have; the interplay of Adam’s… vendetta, maybe?  I’m not sure what the right word for it is… and the fact that George also serves him as a mentor/almost-parental, in some ways, figure.  And, you know, that Adam (maybe) kills him.  We don’t actually see that; for all we know he made a different choice.
Consider this an exception to my “non-canonical MCD” DNW, since it’s deliberately ambiguous in canon; you can kill George, if that’s where your muse takes you.
Alice Adair | Legacy & Vince Reynolds | Jack of All (Super Powereds)
Their friendship/cousin relationship is Wholesome and I love it.  Any point in the timeline, post-canon, all of it is Good and Welcome.  Do they form a legacy children/villains’ kids club? They’re secret cousins; untangling the mess that is the past; so much juicy juicy stuff to work with!!
Phillip Adair | Globe & Charles Adair | Alchemist (Super Powereds)
Brother vs brother! O the drama! But also, they grew up together; they were once best friends; and Charles grew hard and it all fell apart—give me their childhood, maybe, or HCP years or young heroes before Shelby’s powers grew too much for her, or lean into the tragedy of what comes later…
    Tortall – Tamora Pierce
Numair SalmalĂn | Arram Draper & Varice Kingsford (Tortall)
Numair SalmalĂn | Arram Draper & Varice Kingsford & Ozorne Muhassin Tasikhe (Tortall)
Ozorne Muhassin Tasikhe & Numair SalmalĂn | Arram Draper (Tortall)
Varice Kingsford & Ozorne Muhassin Tasikhe (Tortall)
I love these kids, okay?  And I wish they could all just… be okay.  But of course they won’t be; we already know what becomes of them, after all.
There’s a lot to explore here, with these three in their varying combinations of course.  Right now I’m most interested in the pre-Wild Magic timeline—what was Varice and Ozorne’s dynamic before Arram came along? what little snippets of things happen offscreen during the timeline of Tempests and Slaughter? how does Arram gain his black robe; how does Ozorne feel about that? Varice? how does Numair end up in exile, and how do the others feel about that whole affair?—but really I’d also be interested in something set during or around the time of Emperor Mage, from any of their POVs.  We get all the story there from Daine, who is great! but she doesn’t know the history between the three of them, not intimately as they do, and I’d love any of their emotional reactions to being together again under such strained circumstances, so many years after everything fell apart.
Numair Salmalín & Myles of Olau (Tortall)
He was on a mission, was he not, when he became that hawk at the beginning of Wild Magic?  (please ignore if I am Wrong there.)  So how did they meet?  Why did Numair become an agent?  All sorts of questions, here…
Prince Stiloit Tasikhe & Varice Kingsford (Tortall - Pierce)
Stiloit seems so… calm, and level-headed, especially when compared with Ozorne who is not.  And he clearly finds Varice interesting, and her company valuable.  So maybe tell me something about that—what does he think of her?  She of him?  What if, perhaps, he didn’t die when he does?
Keladry of Mindelan & Nealan of Queenscove (Tortall)
They have a BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP and also ye gods when I reread First Test at like 19 (having first read it at 10) I was struck by how very, very fifteen Neal is in that book and it’s hilarious.  But more seriously—Neal’s PoV on things would be fantastic, since we only see him through Kel’s eyes and he doesn’t let her see everything about himself.
Keladry of Mindelan & Raoul of Goldenlake and Malorie's Peak (Tortall - Pierce)
What a beautiful mentorship relationship, I love them.  Also, how does Raoul feel about this open girl page?  Who’s so determined, and has such potential in how she could become more, in an area he knows about (that being military command)—how does he feel about her, living her best life; how does he contextualize it in his intimate knowledge that Alanna could not do what she is doing—and yet it was Alanna, with her deception, who allowed this to be.
Alanna of Pirate's Swoop and Olau & Numair Salmalín
The renowned lady knight-healer-mage and the black robe on the run from Carthak! How did they meet, anyway?  They’re something like the same age, I think, or at least he’s no more than ten years her junior.
Alanna of Pirate's Swoop and Olau & Thom of Trebond (Tortall - Pierce)
My poor Important Destiny Twins… Look I just, I want some content with poor Thom, right?  I’d rather here that we set the story before his death, or that we make it an AU where he gets to live.
    Carmen Sandiego (Cartoon 2019)
Shadowsan & Hideo (Carmen Sandiego 2019)
There’s… so little of this stated or shown overtly, really, but I’m fascinated.  I can’t get over it.  Just tell me about the brothers, please.
    The Dragon Prince (Cartoon)
Runaan/Ethari & Rayla (The Dragon Prince)
Family fluff!  Or angst!  Or turn round and give them a reunion!  All depends on where in the timeline you pick, really.
(there’s a fic on ao3 with the tag “this fanfiction written by the ETHARI LOOK IN THE FUCKING WATER gang” and honestly that is just such a mood.)
Amaya & Sarai (The Dragon Prince)
…I don’t have much to say here really, just that I love me some sibling dynamics.
Callum & Ezran (The Dragon Prince)
A king by birthright, a prince only by adoption, who by age/maturity would probably be better-suited to ruling… look idk just, bros okay???
Maybe something when they were younger, or canon-era, or… idk I love them.
Callum & Ezran & Rayla (The Dragon Prince)
Friendship! Angst! The gang’s all here!  If you want you can include rayllum but for this prompt at least I’d rather it be lowkey.
Claudia & Soren (The Dragon Prince)
I am heartbroken over these kids and just—I need more content with them.  Even if it makes me sad.
Callum & King Harrow (The Dragon Prince)
There are a lot of complicated feelings I have about them—how clearly Harrow loves his stepson, and how even after more than a decade, Callum still isn’t quite comfortable with his stepfather.
    Frozen (Disney Movies)
Agnarr/Iduna (Frozen)
How did they get together?  Why does Iduna stay with Agnarr; why doesn’t she just go home?  How does that revelation conversation go—when does it happen?  How do they come to decide to block Elsa’s powers; when/how do they decide to sail for Ahtohallan?
  Kristoff & Ryder Nattura (Frozen)
Reindeer bros!!  What did Kristoff do while Anna and Elsa were off doing the plot stuff?  Does he go with the Northuldra?  I love the dynamic between these two; it’s adorable and there’s so painfully little of it.
  Yelena & Mattias (Frozen)
So clearly they know each other, right? It’s been thirty-four years, and they clearly have some sort of sniping thing going on but they don’t seem to be actively antagonistic towards each other.  How do they feel about each other, really? How have they interacted in the past?  Is there anything there?  What about after Mattias goes back to Arendelle?
  Anna & Elsa (Frozen)
There is just.  There’s a profound tragedy here—they’re best of friends till they’re five and eight or so, then they don’t interact for thirteen years, they have three years together, and then they go off together to the Enchanted Forest and Elsa doesn’t come back to live in Arendelle, while Anna must return… I don’t know.  Tell me about that, maybe.  Or give me sweet fluff about them as children.  Or something.
  Anna/Kristoff (Frozen)
They’re adorable and I love them and I really just want more.  Maybe something from between the movies—how do they navigate forming a relationship, when he was raised by trolls and she’s been so isolated?
    Little Women (2019)
Amy March/Theodore Laurence (Little Women 2019)
…I don’t know, they’re cute, Laurie is a disaster, I love seeing Amy grow up, I hunger for moar content with them.
Beth March & Mr. Laurence (Little Women 2019)
This has a lot of potential for cute/sad father/daughter dynamics, I think!  And I’d love more of it.
Friedrich Bhaer & Josephine March (Little Women 2019)
Friedrich Bhaer/Josephine March (Little Women 2019)
I just want cute content with Jo and her dynamic with this man who actually respects her and her writing okay?  Maybe something like, I don’t know, navigation of boundaries around Jo’s writing and his criticism thereof… I don’t know.  Have fun with them.  And I really don’t care if it’s shipfic or not.
Theodore "Laurie" Laurence & Josephine March (Little Women 2019)
Theodore Laurence & Josephine March (Little Women 2019)
Laurie is still a disaster but I love him anyway, and their friendship is sweet, and I need more content™.
    Original Prompts
In general: I’m not super picky about how shippy the shipfic gets; most of the ship prompts here would, I think, work as well for gen, excepting the suitor and the princess (which is not to say I’m asking that it be gen, obviously I’m not, but if your muse takes you that direction then go for it).  Likes I put up top still apply down here.
In terms of settings, I especially like high fantasy, space fantasy, or, if relevant, Classic Superhero City Setting, but I’m open to just about anything.
I’m also not tremendously picky about the genders of the characters involved; if it isn’t stated within the prompt, go wild, but please do stick to standard English pronouns; I have a lot of difficulty reading things with neopronouns.
Most of these pairings are prompts in and of themselves, but I’ll add in some bits of commentary for each one.
Disgraced Vampire Queen Moonlighting As A Barista/Exhausted Vampire Hunter In Search Of Caffeine
Okay, so I just think this has great potential for absolute hilarity, and identity shenanigans aplenty.
Dragon & Human Child (Original Work)
I love dragons.  I love playing with dragon-lore, though here I’d appreciate it being a relationship wherein the dragon is not evil, at least not to the child.
Female Crossdressing General/Female Crossdressing Enemy General (Original Work)
So uh from my general likes, it should be… fairly obvious what called to me here lmao.  But there’s such potential here!  The drama!  Do they know each others’ real gender?  Do they know that they’re on opposing sides?  How does this romance across the battlefield work?  Is it even across the battlefield—are they at war, or just generally enemies?
Female Failed Chosen One & Female New Chosen One
Such delicious depths to delve here… why did the first one fail?  What’s her relationship with her successor?  What have they been chosen for?  The setup of this makes me think that the failed chosen one is an adult of some age that’s distinctly older than the new one, who I’ve been imagining as an older child or young adult, but you should follow your muse there.
Female Ship's Captain & Grumpy Stowaway Orphan Rebel
What kind of ship are they on, anyway?  Sailing ship?  Spaceship?  What’s the orphan rebelling against—an Evil Empire?  The Man?  Something else?
Female Suitor Sent As An Insult To Ruling Monarchs/Princess Uninterested In Male Suitors
This seems like… I don’t know, there’s just such potential for dancing around each other and Misunderstandings™ about what’s going on.  Is this the princess’s Gay Awakening?  Has she known for a while why she’s not into the male suitors?  Why was this female suitor selected for the insult?
Injured Male Superhero/Male Supervillain Who Saves His Life
I love superhero identity shenanigans, and ambiguous morals, and I’d love to dive into the emotional turmoil that results from this rescue decision—why does the supervillain do it?  How does the hero feel about being saved by his enemy?
Musician/Dancer with magical powers (Original Work)
Another trope I love that I didn’t mention before is magic music and magical arts in general, so this here is right up my alley.
Portal Fantasy Protagonist & Their Mentor In A Trade Useful In Both Worlds (Original Work)
…Look, idk man this is just sweet and wholesome and I Want.
Retired Male Superhero/Male Supervillain Who Keeps Seeking Him Out Because He Misses Him
Is this not just the plot of Megamind?  In all seriousness, though, I feel about the same here as I do in the injury situation; I love me some hero/villain dynamics in general.
  Witch & Witch's Apprentice
Mentor and student!  Always a fun time.  I’m picturing this as some pseudo-historical or straight alternate-world setting more than modern, but follow your muse here.
Wounded Werewolf/Female Apprentice Witch who Begrudgingly Rescues him (OW)
Honestly I feel like the dynamic here will probably scratch the same itch that the hero/villain pairings do.  Clearly I have a Type.
    Crossovers
Oliver Queen (DC's Arrowverse) & Matt Murdock (Daredevil(TV))
Local Vigilante Man With Many Issues Meets Counterpart From Another Universe would be the headline here, probably.  I don’t know.  I think they’d be fun to bounce off each other.
For reference though I haven’t watched all of either show: I’ve seen the first four seasons of Arrow in their entirety and some of what comes later, and I’ve seen the first two seasons of Daredevil.  You can reference later events, I’m not currently really following either show and am not particularly worried about spoilers, but without some degree of context I’ll be fairly lost.
Shmi Skywalker (SWPT) & Ben Solo | Kylo Ren (SWST)
How do these two meet?  Is it time travel nonsense?  Shmi as a Force ghost?  Both of them in the afterlife?  And if it’s before Ben’s redemption but after his Fall, I do rather hope she’s Disappointed™ in him.
Vince Reynolds | Jack of All (Super Powereds) & Midoriya Izuku (My Hero Academia)
Look.  Look.  All I have ever wanted since I started watching My Hero Academia (which… I haven’t seen much of, but don’t worry about spoilers I legitimately do not care) is to see Vince meet with the character who I immediately internally dubbed tiny green Vince.  How did this happen? Frankly I neither know nor care.  I just want to see it happen.
Thank you for writing me fic!!

GUILTY PLEASURES   Sariel likes to present herself as this hardass with her relentless logic and grace, acting as though she doesn’t have the time or patience for frivolities, and that might be the case...  however, it’s a little known fact that she has a weakness for flowers, cute animals, and sweet (cheesy) gestures from those she cares about.  Don’t tell anyone.
PHOBIAS   If paradoxes don’t count, she doesn’t really have any phobias, tbh??  But as far as little fears go, she’s constantly afraid that Gabriel’s going to end up getting himself killed.  She’s seen death so many times-- enough to know that immortality doesn’t always excuse one from it. Gabriel has a proclivity for flirting with his own demise, overly confident under the veil of his immortality, but with Eirachael (the Concept of Time, who bears a strong dislike for both of them), now in the picture (Main Verse+), she worries he isn’t taking this possibility seriously enough.
WHAT THEY WOULD BE INFAMOUS FOR   She’s earned a reputation among the other Concepts for being the most meddlesome.  Even Adriel, who prefers to watch life from a distance and only occasionally interacts with its sentient beings, and Darius, who has the strongest desire of all the concepts to feel human again, haven’t earned the begrudging title as quick as she.
WHAT WOULD / HAVE THEY GOTTEN ARRESTED FOR    In her Proto world days, it was a miracle that she, Adriel, and Darius (the latter two by association) had never gotten arrested for possession of cannabis, shrooms, or some other kind of hallucinogen (though nowadays any reason she would have gotten arrested would have been a result of Gabriel’s influence, tbh).
CHARACTER YOU SHIP THEM WITH   Sariel and Dimitrius are supposed to have a romantic relationship throughout most of the main verse, but I don’t usually get into it for easier roleplay purposes (plus their relationship is a little too reliant on / specific to their story, and that’s too much to explain!).  Otherwise, I really can’t see her having feelings for anyone else, canon or otherwise!  That’s why she’s one of the muses listed under the strictly non-ship category.
CHARACTER MOST LIKELY TO MURDER THEM   Though the last time they talked Darius promised he’d kill her should they meet again, I don’t think he’d actually pull it off (nor would he be able to).  Honestly, I think Eirachael has the biggest chance to be the one to finish her off for good.  They’re definitely capable of finding a way.
FAVORITE BOOK GENRE   She prefers to read informative books-- anything she can learn from.  However, when she actually cared enough to read for leisure & story, she enjoyed perplexing novels and psychological thrillers.
LEAST FAVORITE BOOK CLICHÉ   I think she’d despise the idea that one needs to change who they are in order to find love.  Like in those romance novels where the lead falls in love with someone dangerous (usually some kind of killer??) but claims they can’t love them because they’re bad so??  The person??  Just decides to change their entire sense of self to be with the one they love ?
TALENTS OR POWERS  She’s always had a natural proclivity for the maths and sciences (though tbh, she’d probably be a lot better at them if she’d have actually put an effort into her schooling at a young age).  She can play the cello, but it wasn’t a skill that came naturally to her; she’d spent a lot of time developing it during her time as a Concept.
---- As far as innate powers go, being the presiding Concept over light, Sariel can manipulate and merge with it as she desires.  Because light is something that has existed over time & across space, she’s able to travel to any time and area that light does or can exist in reality (non-reality dimensions, such as inside one’s head directly, or places manifested as such are inaccessible to her, as the light there doesn’t actually exist).  This isn’t to say that she can’t illuminate a room that was completely devoid of light to begin with; if this happens, an opposing force (usually another concept, such as Void) must be what prevents her from doing so.  This will prevent her from travelling to that space.
In manipulating light, naturally, Sariel can generate light waves (or radiation), as well.  By altering the frequency of photons, she can produce radio waves, micro waves, infrared waves, visible light (to create illusions or to blind), ultraviolet waves, x-ray waves, and gamma waves.  A Concept of Light will naturally emit low-level radiation waves that are mostly harmless to even the most sensitive forms of life.  However, should they become too reckless with their emotions, the radiation will amplify and become harmful, so a Concept of this nature must be vigilant at all times when interacting with more radiation-sensitive beings.
WHY SOMEONE MIGHT LOVE THEM   Not to say Sariel isn’t a lovely person to look at, and the way she speaks and holds herself is captivating, but I’ve always imagined the only three types of people who would actually fall in love with her would need to possess at least one of three predominant character traits:  foolishness, wild eccentricity, or a strong sense of patience.  She’s not at all considerate past the point of being well-mannered to most people, and she finds it hard to empathize with others.  However, when she truly cares for a person, she becomes incredibly doting.  Though she’d be hard pressed to express her love in a verbal way, Sariel would find her lover to be the most endearing person in the world, and as she grows more comfortable around this person, she can be found more often expressing herself through her actions.  Someone generally submissive and willing to feel protected would be the ideal partner for her.
WHY SOMEONE MIGHT HATE THEM   She’s ??  Kind of a shrewd bitch tbh ??  Sariel possesses the unbelievably rare quality of not giving a single damn about what other people think about her; she’s nauseatingly honest, and she will more often than not find those she first meets to be unremarkable.  Because of this, she can come off as condescending, and when asked her opinion of others she will never hold back from telling the truth.  Though she rarely means any ill will by what she says, her words often get her into trouble.
She also has a proclivity for putting logic over emotion, reason over right, and this has caused her to lose many potential friendships (usually as a result of refusing to change / let them change their past or future out of a fear of paradoxical consequences, despite knowing of the tragedy one will face beforehand).
HOW THEY CHANGE   She’s changed quite a bit since her proto world years; she’s not as rash and she no longer seeks trouble, among other things...  I’ll probably post more about Proto World!Sariel in the future to avoid going on an even longer tangent here than I already have (๑ ˊ͈ ᐞ ˋ͈ )ƅ̋
WHY YOU LOVE THEM   [[ I adore the fact that she, to me, blurs the line between “good” and “bad” to show the two terms are entirely a matter of perspective.  I think that, in a way, she’s an outlet of sorts for the negative emotions I feel from others, and she goes to show that even the worst of deeds can be done by those with the purest intentions, and that the nicest person is capable of many wrong doings-- that is as well to say that even the most jaded and callous of persons is capable of showing mercy or kindness, yet these actions alone don’t make them a “good” or “bad” person [...] She’s become hardened from existing for so long and has many cold personality traits, but I love the fact that she is still tender and protective somewhere very deep in her heart, and that makes her emotionally vulnerable [...]  Even after so many years of existing, Sariel has not completely risen above her humility and [natural] fear, as much as she likes to think otherwise, and she’s still not entirely one with her existence. ]] -- I wrote this about her on my old blog like 2-3 years ago & it’s still relevant tbh

10 Must Know Website Design Tips for Any Business
Tumblr media
It is easy for a visitor to judge you soon based on the design of your website. It depends on the quality of your web design that can either attract customers or simply bounce your web page.
If the structure and design of your website are good enough to tell people about your company details such as the purpose of your company, easy layout of your product’s pricing then there is a possibility to generate leads for your company.
For a successful business, you need to have a good quality web design so that visitors are attracted to your web page and navigate the web pages easily.
Are the bouncing rates of your website too high? If it is, that means you need to take some steps ahead of improving the quality of your web design and focus on optimizing the website. But, can web design tips help you?
A healthy website not only depends on the quality web design and good content, rather a design that attracts visitors to your web pages, renders proper services and sticks them to your web page for a longer duration with the possibility of becoming a new customer.
A website with good quality web design needs to have convincing power through useful content and the company’s description.
So, what exactly is required to make your business profitable through web design? What are those important web design tips you must know?
Useful Website Design Tips and Tricks
There are many factors that affect user interaction with a website. A bad design increases the bounce rate to a greater extent. Here are a few website design tips and tricks that can help you reduce the rate tremendously.
1. Have a Plan of Action
You cannot expect that your web design is enough to address people about your company’s objectives and fulfil their needs. You must also focus on navigating the requirements of your users.
You need to figure out and take a look at their complete journey from being an online visitor to your website to becoming a customer.
When you focus on every aspect of their journey to your website, then you are more likely to understand the expectations of the users. This will in turn help you design a website that would inevitably encourage users into an ideal customer for your company.
Take surveys of your visitors and existing customers to meet their expectations of your company. Try data research and understand your existing customers by navigating their journey to your website.
2. Avoid Adding Unnecessary Things to Your Website
Some stuff on your website may be unnecessary, which may be the reason for users to bounce your page. Avoid adding complex substances such as long content, animations, and irrelevant stocky pictures.
You need to strategize your website using the concept of marking the first impression of your visitors. You need to provide strong clear tags with relevant pictures and precise contents.
Don’t use jargon and ambiguous expressions as it may confuse them and force them to bounce your web page.
3. Provide Options to Share and Buttons to follow
Having great content but no sharing and follow options may frustrate and distract users to engage with your website on regular terms.
You need to have social sharing options and follow the keys to attract visitors and expand the contents of your company. These sharing icons let users connect and share your information with other readers or users.
4. Provide Call-to-Action on Every Web Page
When online visitors visit your websites they may want to look for details of your company to connect with your business for any specific purpose.
Call-to-Action helps users to guide them on your web page and allows them to understand your content. Some of the examples of CTAs that can be used for your website as a marketing strategy are shop, sign up, free demo, free trial, start, etc. Encourage your visitors to engage with your company.
Use clear and concise CTAs that will guide them with your content and provoke them to take any action in favour of your company.
Whenever a user finds information that is relevant to them, they are likely to engage with your website and expect a solution from your site.
5. Place Exact and Relevant Pictures
Match your content with your pictures on your sites to deliver accurate information about your company’s product.
Do not be confident about using stocky pictures on your websites. Add realistic images of your own company rather than stock pictures. This will in turn help you build trust for your company by users. Even you can use stock pictures with powerful editing tools to match with your content at hand.
6. Navigation
Provide navigation to your website so that users don’t get lost in the content of your webpage. You need to be specific about mapping your content in the right way.
A disorganized webpage may distract users and force them to bounce your website.
7. Allow Users to Scroll on The homepage
Do not worry about designing a longer homepage. You must include at least 5 fragmentations that can provide users to jump on your home page again and again for any related information seamlessly.
Some of the quirky lists that you can specify on your homepage for users to view repeatedly are:
Value proposition
Introduction Video
About us
Product Features
Credentials
Services
8. Don’t Be Scared of Using White Space
Whitespace is a significant design substance that allows you to split up the web page and expand readability.
It is also known as ‘pessimistic space’. Whitespace is the surface area around the contents on a web page that is always devoid and contains neither content nor pictures.
9. Mobile Optimization
Focus on optimizing your website for mobile devices. If your content isn’t displayed properly or produces deformed contents and images, then most of the mobile users will furthermore opt-out to access your website as almost 80% of online users are mobile users.
10. Prefer Testing Your Website
Assess conversion tracks of users scrolling, clicking on particular images, links, or any other referrals through website testing software. This will provide you with a complete assessment of your website performance.
When you keep track of your website, you are more likely to understand what changes need to be made, update requirements, loading problems, how many users follow your page, clicks on your sites, etc.
With these basic yet important web design tips, you can resolve many issues that increase the bounce rate of your website. Looking for a great website that not only attracts users but also gets leads? Reach out to Visual Catalyst.

Wait Watchers: The Impact of Waiting and Sociality on UT Austin’s Student Usage of the Bus
By Ellen Marshall
Tumblr media
In two hours of observing the bus stop at the intersection of East 21st Street and San Jacinto Boulevard, I observed one interaction between two people who did not know each other. One, a person dressed in punk attire, who looked to be in late high school, asked a UT student on the bench whether a water bottle next to him belonged to him.
It did not.
Hearing this, one would assume that waiting at the bus stop is an asocial experience, one almost entirely devoid of human interaction. However, I believe that would be a false assumption. While it is true that social interaction here is significantly and markedly different, it is still very much present. It is simply dictated by the busses, their schedules, and the act of waiting. As such, waiting at bus stops, and the social experience associated with that activity, is directly linked to a cyclical, scheduled time, both in relationship to the bus schedule and the personal schedules of the riders. This raises two truths that were reflected in my research: Waiting for the bus is a part of transportation just as much as walking, biking, driving, or even riding the bus itself. This act of waiting plays host to an interesting, overlooked social dimension that is defined by multiple facets of time and the physical space of the bus stop, and is also an extension of transportation. When combined, these truths allow for a better understanding of why riders choose to take the bus. In order to reach that understanding, however, we must understand the different concepts of time and non-verbal interactions anthropologically.
CYCLICAL TIME & SCHEDULES
When looking at anything related to bus stops, the logical first place to look is the bus schedules. This is an important starting point, as schedules determine much of how the stop works and exists in various contexts, and I labelled “cycles” of buses in my original field notes marked by the length of time between another bus of the same line arriving. On the smallest scale, I found that there is a cycle of “booms and busts,” in the bus stops’ population on campus. In the fifteen minutes following the release of classes, large swaths of waiters will arrive all at once. The bus stop will swell with waiters until either the 7 or the 10 bus lines arrives. The closer to around 5:00 or 6:00 PM it gets, I found, the larger the number of people who will accumulate at the bus stop before leaving. People will board other buses and people will come to the bus stop between these mass arrivals and mass departures, of course, but the population of the bus stop swells and grows in a predictable way based off this.
Predictability is not always a constant in schedules, however. I interviewed a student and former daily bus rider who I will refer to as Jay. Jay has recently transitioned to using electronic scooter rentals for the bulk of his transportation needs, and now relies on the bus only “three times a month.” Despite Cap Metro’s best efforts—including releasing an app that allows for real-time tracking of the buses in the city in 2015 (Theis 2015)—predictability of the buses and their wait time remains inconsistent at best, hence why Jay now relies on the bus only a few times a month. This is due largely in part, he explains, to the act of waiting at the bus stop. As a bus rider, Jay had to plan his day around waiting for the bus. But as a scooter rider he is more flexible and able to get places more quickly than with the bus. And so, waiting becomes transformed into an extension of the bus system and thus an extension of public transportation.
So, while the bus schedules are a good starting point, they are not the only factor at play. It is also important to understand the act of waiting more thoroughly in order to understand this situation ethnographically. Waiting has been defined anthropologically as a means to allow us to examine human actions, thoughts, and social relationships and how they shift, or are entirely removed, through different times and different situations. It has been further divided into two types of waiting: passive waiting, in which the outcome of the wait is relatively certain, patience is high, and little thought is given to the wait, and active waiting, which happens the moment the outcome becomes less than certain. Patience suddenly becomes tested, and anxiety over the outcome may arise. (Janeja and Bandak 2018) While these definitions were intended for researching larger-scale events taking place over years, its relevancy is maintained for short-term waits, with a few caveats that change how waiters perceive and interact while waiting. Most significantly, it is easier to see how time can be cyclical in the short-term in comparison to reoccurring events taking place over centuries or longer. In addition, these short-term schedules are generally more planned and purposeful. With these caveats, we are closer to anthropologically understanding waiting in the short-term, but we need to also understand scheduled time.
The schedule of the bus stop, however, is not the only schedule at play here. For example, the boom and bust cycle was determined by class schedules. Rush hour, while not officially scheduled by any organization, also plays a role in determining how long people wait for the bus. Weekends, late nights, and holidays change the bus routes available, while University game-days and musical festivals re-route buses. The schedules repeat: every half-hour, hourly, daily, weekly, and yearly, determining what wait to expect, what options are available, and thus, who is at the bus stop. This intersection of formal/informal schedules, the physical space of a bus stop, and social experiences creates a space where time is functionally looped, and it is the foundation for understanding how the bus stop is a socially unique space, whose sociality is just as much an aspect of transportation as vehicles or roads.
SOCIAL/ASOCIAL EXPERIENCE
This viewing the bus stop as a socially transportive space requires us to look at social experiences outside of the obvious spoken dialogue. Rather, we must define these experiences to encompass non-verbal forms of communication and new, technological forms. Furthermore, we must investigate how this form of the wider social experience is informed by and defined by the concept of waiting, repeated scheduled time, and the act of transportation.
Firstly: there is, indeed, verbal interaction at the bus stop. It is just by far the least common means of sociality. As mentioned in my introduction, I only once saw two strangers speak to each other in my two hours of observation. This finding was consistent with what the bus rider I interviewed had to say. He explained that, while he personally was willing to carry on a conversation with a stranger at a bus stop, the norm was to find that uncomfortable. The expected behavior was to be friendly, but self-contained socially and not converse with other waiters or riders. People who arrive at the stop talking with friends will not cease their conversations immediately, although I did notice a trend for waiters arriving in groups to eventually stop talking or at least lower their volume considerably. In addition, a number of waiters took phone calls at the stop, including the rider I interviewed, who stated that he used his phone 3 out of every 10 times at the stop.
Technology as a whole plays an incredibly large role at the bus stop. When most people arrive alone, their first action at the stop is to pull out their phones, with many putting on or already having in earbuds on top of that. Waiters will utilize their phones for social media, my interviewee making note of Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and texting in particular. As such, the most common and most direct form of communication here is also transportive, in the sense that it is centered around communicating with others far from the bus stop and taking the waiter away from the stop socially.
In that sense, technology serves as a tool to lengthen passive waiting. If the waiter does not expect board the bus quickly and begin their physical transportation, they will delve into their phone and allow themselves to be, mentally at least, transported away. I found that many—including Jay—used some form of ear buds to listen to music as they waited, while others would even watch movies or stream TV shows as they waited. Interestingly, Jay stated that he found people watching media on their phone without earbuds to be rude. This signifies the importance that this mental transportation be private.
Tumblr media
But why is technology the preferred means of social and mental transportation? And why is it important that each waiter keeps this transportation self-contained and not impede on another waiter? If people were solely concerned with transporting themselves away mentally, then idle chit-chat or making friends at the stop would serve this purpose, as would allowing themselves to “tag along” with someone else’s experience. However, this need to extend passive waiting through mental transportation is only half the story.
The other answer is related to a personal scheduled time. For most people, waiting at this particular bus stop marks the end of their day on campus. As such, it takes place as the end-point of a day of working on campus, where they (theoretically, at least) have been largely away from social media. On paper, a bus stop seems like a good spot to meet new friends and talk to strangers. After all, many of these waiters will be at this stop every day at the same time as you, or even take the same bus at the same time. You may see them every day. But this ignores the chronological positions of the bus stop. Waiting at the bus stop is the end of several hours of working on campus, and waiters are thus tired. While waiters may hope to mentally transport themselves to make the wait feel shorter and maintain patience, they need to do so in a way that is low-effort and relaxing to them personally. For that reason, pre-existing social connections are preferable to creating new ones, as existent connections take less effort than forging new ones.
The bus stop acts as a rest spot, as waiters either prepare to enjoy their evening of free time or work away from campus. Regardless, its’ position at the end of a significant part of the day makes it a perfect opportunity to relax through the act of mental transportation and immersion. In social terms, exclusively online, screen-based interactions have the benefit of being one-sided. You generally can choose when to engage in a conversation and can still choose to partake as an observer. In-person or phone-based communication, while requiring more instantaneous responses, are still ways to reconnect with people you have not seen in the day and re-cap how yours has gone.
Of course, there are exceptions to the rules and people who break these norms. Waiters are not a monolithic, rule following group. Notably, Jay mentioned that he would often take his laptop out to do work while at the bus stop. I did not observe that once in my dedicated observation time, nor have I noticed it in the many times I take the bus outside of observing. Indeed, I began my observations by taking written notes in a journal, but quickly swapped to taking electronic notes on my phone due to the stares and odd glances I received. After swapping to my phone, the stares stopped. We also must question the role of active waiting in the sociality of waiting at the bus stop. When does the passive wait become active? And how are norms regulated? Both of these answers are provided by examining the role of physical actions in sociality.
Norms are managed non-verbally via eye-contact and staring, which limit how effectively they can be enforced; some people are simply oblivious to stares, or just do not care about them. When I broke the norms by working at the bus stop, a place supposed to be dedicated to resting, I fell back into place due to the number of stares I received. Jay, while he continues to work, also alters his social behavior in response. “If I’m reading, I guess I’ll kinda step out of the group, just so I’m not in anyone’s way,” he explains. In my sonic ethnography, I attempted to simulate the activity of scanning the bus stop for future buses, and in doing so, noted a girl vaping, who received a stare for doing so. Her vaping intruded into the rest of the waiters’, and so she stopped. Notably, she stopped vaping after that.
youtube
The second purpose of physical actions concerns the most common activity: watching for the bus. The bus stop (pictured below) sits at the end of a bend in the road. At the other side of the bend sits another bus stop, and many buses stop at both. As such, we could hear the bus around the bend and see it before it was close enough to make the route number legible. When a bus sat at that stop, people would stop and stare at it until they made out the route number, and then either moved to board it or went back to their phones. This, however, is not the only instance of watching the bend. The longer it has been between a scheduled “wave” of buses, or if a very large number of people are waiting at the stop, the more people will crane their necks to watch, even if no bus sits at the other end. This is representative of a collective transformation from passive waiting to active waiting. People suddenly become worried that perhaps their bus is running significantly late, or if it has been long enough, cancelled or rerouted altogether. While technological and verbal interactions are used for social purposes, these physical actions are used for more practical purposes: to share concern over another waiter’s actions, or to share concern that a bus has not come in a while.
Tumblr media
CONCLUSION
Waiting is an unavoidable aspect of riding the bus, and thus exists as an extension of it. The bus stop is ultimately dictated by schedules and time, and as such so is the social realm around it. This leads to the creation of two norms in the social space: the need for relaxation after working, and the need to be mentally transported to alleviate the wait for physical transportation. These norms combined leads to a social space in which new interactions between strangers is unexpected and strange, but one where sociality is far from dead. Rather than being used to communicate with new people, it is used here to improve the bus stop. The social rules differ here in order to cope with the personal and bus schedule, while also allowing passive waiting to be stretched longer. Shared physical actions are used in this social space in order to maintain these norms and to cope with moments in which passive waiting gives way to active. The bus would not be able to compete with less wait-intensive modes of transportation without this social experience, and as such, to understand the bus, you must understand the wait. And to understand the wait, you must understand bus sociality.

Sailors tell stories of calms before hurricanes. The wind is mild, friendly even, tickling the sails with soft breezes. The waves are coaxing and gentle against the hull of the ship. The sun is bright and strong. And then—chaos.
These are the kinds of thing Betty thinks about in moments like this. Two screaming—or laughing? She’s never totally sure—children running circles around her, her hands too greasy to try to grab one of them, her hair falling in her face, the garage telephone ringing shrilly, and she just needs it all to stop.
“Kids!” She yells. “Guys, please! Aunt B needs to answer the phone!”
Her nephew jabs her forcefully in the knee. “No! Tag! You’re it!” Then her niece starts mimicking her brother and they both start chanting tag! tag! tag!
Trying to think of a reason why she ever agrees to babysit these two terrors, especially when she has to work, Betty tries to weave her way to the phone.
“Aunt B isn’t playing tag right now, Artie,” she sighs, quickly wiping her hands on the rag next to the big red telephone before making a grab for it. He pokes at her again just as she pulls the phone off the receiver. “Ow! Arthur, stop. Cooper Garage, Betty speaking.”
“How are the Terrible Two’s, then?” It’s Veronica, sounding far too smug for someone who spoils the twins just as much anyone. She and the twins’ other aunt, Cheryl, have been broken up for over a year, but given that it was an amicable split (or, as amicable as two girls equally prone to dramatics can be—hence, the breakup), Veronica has remained a strong presence in the kids’ lives all the same.
“Terrible,” Betty breathes. She wipes her hand across her forehead. “What’s up?”
“So, I should cover my mom’s shifts more often,” Veronica chirps, and Betty feels an inkling of frustration that she practically sprinted across the garage for another one of Veronica’s social calls.
“Oh?” Betty asks, using the moment to brush some loose locks of hair off her sweaty skin. “And why’s that, Ronnie?”
“Boys,” is Veronica’s simple response. “Riverdale is absolutely devoid of them—or any that I haven’t test driven yet—but I always forget that Pop’s gets a surprising number of people off the highway. Girls too, I’m sure, but tonight there were these—”
“Well, I’m sure Pop appreciates that business,” Betty interrupts distractedly, watching her niece wander dangerously close to a tool bench. “Rose! Don’t touch that. You know you don’t play with Aunt B’s tools. Can you go grab your brother and go play in my office, please? You can put on the tv.”
Rose shoots her an embarrassed, apologetic smile and pulls her brother to the back of the garage and into her office.
“Sorry,” Betty declares to Veronica, rubbing her forehead. “They got into my cookie stash again. They’re angels until they touch sugar. You were saying? Boys?”
“It’s fine,” Veronica replies in her typically amused voice. “I should probably get to the point. I know you’re closing soon, but I’m actually calling because I have a truck smoking in the parking lot of Pop’s, and I figure they might need a tow and an allen wrench, or something.”
Ah.
“Okay, don’t trust an allen wrench for anything other than IKEA. Hold on,” Betty chuckles, cradling the phone between her shoulder and neck to reach for her notepad. “Alright, I’m ready. Describe the situation for me.”
“Uh…it’s a truck. Looks kind of old. Actually a rather lovely sea foam color…might be the same palette Jil Sander used in her FW—”
Betty stops taking notes. “Veronica.”
“Right. Not relevant. Well, I saw these two guys get in the car, and after a few minutes, the whole engine started smoking. Seemed like maybe they were trying to get it started.” There’s a sound like blinds shuffling around, and she imagines Veronica is watching from the window. “One is waving smoke around like a maniac and the other has just been banging his head against his steering wheel for the past three minutes.”
Betty presses her lips together to suppress a giggle at the mental image. “It sounds like it overheated, but I won’t be able to diagnosis why without seeing it,” she concludes, glancing over her shoulder at the office window. “Hm. They probably need a tow to get it here, but I can’t leave the kids…or fit them, two guys, and me in the truck. And Jason and Polly have that thing tonight, or I’d make them come get them.”
“Why don’t you bring the kids and leave them with me? I’ll take them home, or bring them over to the garage at the end of my shift. Pop’s got enough colored pencils to keep them occupied.”
“That might work,” Betty muses. “Okay, sounds like a plan. Tell those guys not to touch anything, and that a tow is coming.”
“Sí,” Veronica replies. “And call me when you’re done with them, if I don’t see you first. I wanna talk about the boys, because one is trés cute. Try to find out if he’s single, would you?”
“If it comes up naturally, sure,” Betty sighs, thinking that Veronica gets more romantic mileage out of Betty’s livelihood than she herself does. “Alright, it’ll take me a minute to wrangle these demons. See you soon. Thanks, V.”
“De nada. Besitos!”
They both hang up, and Betty presses another number into the buttons. She’d call Polly, but she’s famously bad at answering her phone. Jason picks up after a ring. “Hello? Is everything okay?” Her brother-in-law sounds frantic. “Is anyone hurt?”
“Breathe, Jason,” she laughs. “Everyone is fine. I just have a little dilemma here at the garage. I need to go pick up a car at Pop’s, but can’t fit the kids with everyone in the tow truck on the way back. I’m gonna leave them with Veronica at the diner, and she’ll bring them home if this ends up going too long. That alright?”
“Oh. Sure, Betty. Sorry again for leaving them with you last minute. Wh—oh, sorry, I have to go, the charity auction is starting. Thanks for checking. Have a good night!” And then he’s gone. Betty sighs, and wipes her hands on her blue work jumpsuit. If the boys are as cute as Veronica said, she briefly wonders if she should put on a bit more mascara. But there’s not really time, and she’s got a job to do anyway. So she settles for retying her ponytail and washing any leftover grease from her face.
“Kids!” She calls, and they come scrambling out of her office. “Who wants to go for a ride in the tow truck?”
After a resounding chorus of “We do! We do!” and gathering all their things into their little backpacks, she corrals them into the truck and sets off for Pop’s. Like everything in Riverdale, it’s not a long drive, but Rose and Artie are shoving at each other and it’s distracting for the whole ride.
She exhales. She loves her family. She loves her family.
Pulling into the Pop’s parking lot, Betty immediately spots the purpose of her trip; a mint green Ford pickup is stalled in its spot, the remnants of smoke stacks lingering overhead. Veronica is leaning against a nearby car in a yellow Pop’s uniform, talking to a well-built redheaded guy, and there’s another person still sitting in the driver’s seat, his head slumped against the wheel.
At least he’s stopped hitting his head against it, Betty thinks. She parks right in front of him, so it’ll be easy to hook up later on.
She and the kids pile out of the tow truck, and they immediately race over to Veronica, who scoops up Rose in her arms. With the kids’ bright red hair next to the stranger’s own, they could be a little family themselves. She shakes her head and marches over to the Ford.
“Hi there!” She says, knocking lightly against the metal door frame. “Heard you needed a hand.”
The guy looks up, eyes narrowed. He has dark hair stuffed under a gray beanie, a handsome, angled face and a smattering of attractive freckles and moles. This must be the cute one, Betty thinks, though Veronica seems happily preoccupied with the other guy.
“So it would seem,” he says, after a long moment of sizing her up. “You the mechanic we were promised?”
If he’s going to be one of those guys who underestimates a blonde woman under the hood of a car, he doesn’t show it. “Yep,” she says brightly. “Mind if I take a look at what I’m working with?”
With an incredibly burdened sigh, he slips out of the driver’s seat. “Let’s get this over with,” he mutters darkly behind her. He doesn’t seem to be in the best mood, though it’s not like she can blame him. Then again, she rarely comes across a customer happy to get their car ripped apart to be fixed, so she’s used to the attitude.
“So is the truck yours? Wow, is this a F150 ‘76? Haven’t seen one of those in a while,” she says, trying to clear the air.
“’77,” He corrects, a bit defensively, though she’s not sure why. He shifts from one foot to another, looking uncomfortable. “She’s not much, but she’s mine. A dependable old girl. Usually.”
“She’s a beaut,” Betty assures him. Veronica was right; the color is very nice. She flashes him an excited and secretive kind of smile that he clearly looks like has no idea what to do with. “I always love the diagnosis period.”
She sticks her head under the popped hood. She makes a lot of hm's, and ah's, and oh's under her breath as she digs around the engine. There’s almost no compressor left on one of his cylinders, which is probably the source of the breakdown. It’s been almost fried completely through, but otherwise, the engine is in pretty good shape, though there are certainly a couple of dark spots on its horizon.
“You’ve taken pretty good care of this car,” she says, briefly poking her head around the hood.
The guy clears his throat, looking slightly pained. “Uh, that was mostly my dad. This was his truck and I think he still fiddles with it when I’m not looking. But probably hasn’t for…a while. I haven’t done much more than change the oil every now and then.”
Betty hums and turns back to the engine. “Well, he’s done a good job.” Then she straightens, and wipes her hands on the rag that hangs from her belt loop. “So are you a good news first, bad news second, kind of guy? Or a—”
“I’m a bad news first, more bad news inevitably second kind of guy,” he says wanly. “So level with me. How bad?”
“Honestly, it’s not!” She says quickly, though he looks suspicious. He passes a fleeting glance over at his friend, but he and Veronica are still talking a few cars away. The kids are running in circles around them. “Really. You’ve got no compression left on one of your cylinders, which is easy to fix. And your truck has got great bones. But…the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
He squints at her. “Are you making an Aristotle joke?”
“A bad one,” she sighs, smile fading. “Basically, I don’t have parts for a truck this old on hand right now. I just used up my last one a few days ago. And we’re the only garage in town. Now, I can order them, and they really shouldn’t take too long, but it could be a week before they arrive. Maybe sooner if my guy in Hudson hasn’t left for vacation yet. Once I get the part it’ll be done in a couple days. But…”
“But?”
Betty sighs. “But I don't know how far you’re planning on driving this car.”
He blinks. “We came from Boston, heading to Chicago and then back. Why?”
“I was worried you guys were on a road trip,” she says under her breath. “I'm not totally sure the truck can make it back from Chicago. It might, it definitely might, but you've got a couple of weak spots all over your engine that could cause another breakdown. Just a professional observation.”
The guy stares longingly at his truck. Something is working across his face.
“Some people might cut their losses here,” she wagers, taking a stab at what he’s thinking. He looks up sharply. “Might say that sinking money into a truck a over decade older than them is a waste.”
He doesn’t correct her, so Betty assumes she’s not far off. “But like I said, this truck has really great bones. It was built well before planned obsolescence, and all that. So I could do a quick fix of your compressor issue here and send you off, but honestly, your head gasket and one of your valves aren’t long for this world either. If I rebuilt about half your engine, it would run flawlessly for probably another ten years.”
The guy stares at her. “Don’t mechanics have a reputation for saying stuff just like that, to get you to spend more money?”
“Yes,” Betty agrees. “We do. But I know what I’m talking about. You can trust me.”
“That’s definitely what someone I couldn’t trust would say,” he murmurs apprehensively, running his tongue over his teeth. He blinks over at Pop’s, a sort of wistful look warring over his features. “I’m not saying yes, for the record. But let’s say, theoretically, I’m interested in my truck running for another ten years. Just how long would rebuilding an engine take?”
“Well, couple weeks, if I get the compressor within that window. I’ve got most of the things I’d need for the engine already. But I'd be able to get started right away.”
“So we’re talking, full picture, about three weeks,” he summarizes flatly. He appears thoughtful, rubbing his hand against his jaw. “That’s cutting it a little close. I have to be in Chicago in a month. And what the hell would we do for three weeks in some podunk farm town?”
Betty bristles; she’s not sure he meant to say that last part loud enough for her to hear it, but she sure as hell did.
“I’m sorry your truck broke down here, but I can assure you we have all the amenities of modern times here in Riverdale. Flushing water, even internet,” she says, in a perky voice that she knows belies her annoyance.
With the long day she’s had chasing two six year olds all over her garage and just the mounting exhaustion of the past year, she’s not in the mood to humor the snobbery of a stranger. And, maybe, just maybe, if she’s being honest with herself, she doesn’t disagree with him and it strikes a damn chord.
There isn’t much to do in Riverdale, a fact she’s been musing over her whole life. But it’s not like she has the option to leave, so she’s not really interested in sympathizing with his anguish over a three-week pit stop.
He seems to realize his mistake, as his ears redden. She adds pointedly, “We’re also on the MetroNorth line. So you can go down to New York City while I fix her up. Or you can head up the Hudson Valley. You’re not married to staying here.”
He looks embarrassed beyond his depth, but doesn’t apologize. He nibbles on his lips instead. “Yeah, okay. How much are we talking?”
She puts her hands on her hips and spares the engine another sigh. “Parts…hm, you don’t need everything…the head gasket is gonna run it up…compressors are about 120… So I’d say about 700 for all the parts. Labor for this kind of work is about 1500. I’ll bundle it and do it all for 2 grand.”
He pulls his hat from his head for the sole purpose of running his hands through his hair. She has a moment to appreciate his thick, dark curls before the hat is forcefully shoved back on. He looks frustrated, or maybe anguished, or maybe on the verge of a total mental breakdown. Or maybe all of the above.
He crosses his arms. “That seems low. What’s the catch?”
“It is low,” Betty exhales, half-forgiving him for his offense despite herself. She knows it’s not what her father would’ve done—but it’s her garage now. She can run it how she wants, including into the ground. Still, one of these days, she’d love to learn how to hold a grudge. “No catch. You just seem like you’re in a bit of a bind.”
He stares at her like she’s just touched down to Earth on a spaceship. Then, he shakes his head to clear his shocked expression, and thrusts his hand out. “Deal.”
She shakes his hand, and there’s a brief, but startling, moment where her skin sparks against his. It might just be static electricity, but he seems to notice it too, because he quickly pulls his hand away.
“Thanks, Betty,” he says quietly, much to her surprise. At her look, he gestures to the embroidered nametag over her heart. She glances down at it, having forgotten it was there. Forgot she was wearing this greasy, disgusting jumpsuit in the first place. “I’m Jughead, by the way. And no, that’s not the name on my driver’s license, which I guess you’ll see when I fill out whatever forms, so please just…call me Jughead.”
She raises an eyebrow, but it’s 2017 and she goes by Betty, so she’s not about to judge. “Gotcha. Okay, well I’m gonna load up your Ford to the tow. You’re my last call of the day, so how about I drop you at the local hotel and you can come by tomorrow to fill out the paperwork?”
Jughead opens his mouth, but Archie, Veronica, and the kids are making their way towards them and he promptly clams up.
“They’ve reminded me I promised them pie about fifty times now, so we’re going to head on in so I can deliver on that. A Lodge always keeps her word,” Veronica says, tossing her silky black hair over her shoulder.
Betty rolls her eyes, dropping into a squat so she’s eye-level with the twins. “Fine, but I’m not taking them back after you’ve pumped them with more sugar. Okay kiddos, say goodbye to me!”
“Bye!” They say in cheery unison, running into her open arms. They give her quick hugs and then dash into the diner, with Veronica crossing across the parking lot after them. She passes them a brief, delicate wave of her fingers and then disappears through Pop’s door.
Jughead’s friend stares after her like she’s water and he’s the desert. She isn’t surprised. Veronica tends to have that effect, even draped in polyester. Betty will have to double check which one her friend thinks is the cute one, because otherwise there might be tension on the horizon between the two boys.
But then, Betty realizes that Jughead hasn’t even spared Veronica a passing glance. Instead, he’s staring at his truck. He seems to sense her eyes on him, because then he looks her way, his face unreadable.
“So what’s happening?” The redhead asks, forcing his gaze away. “Did you get it fixed?”
“As if it’d be that simple, Archie,” Jughead sighs. “No, we’re definitely stuck here. Or, the truck is. For a couple weeks, while Betty here licks the wounds we’ve inflicted.”
His friend, Archie, seems to realize Betty is here for the first time. He hastily makes his introductions and then turns back to Jughead. “A couple of weeks? Aw, man. I had all these plans for our road trip.”
“I don’t know what to tell you,” Jughead says, a bit tersely. “If you’d given me any time to prepare, I might’ve had the truck checked out before we left. Instead she didn’t even make it 400 miles.”
Archie frowns. “I’m sorry, dude, I just—”
But Jughead cuts him off with a noisy exhale, then shakes his head. “No, I’m sorry. I’m tired. Let’s just crash and figure it out in the morning.”
Betty slips away and starts unhooking her tow chains, deciding the two friends might need a moment to work it out. She’s a mechanic, but she often feels more like a bartender in a seedy TV procedural; the type of arguments she overhears picking people up from the side of the road could fill a book.
Archie and Jughead don’t seem as willing to fight, though there’s still clearly a bit of tension as she snaps the hood down and latches the Ford to her tow truck. While she’s fiddling under the carriage of Jughead’s truck, she overhears the last bit of their conversation.
“…just saying it might not be the worst place to stay for a little while,” Archie is murmuring wistfully, and Betty can imagine he’s staring after Veronica in the diner.
“I guess not,” Jughead replies, after a long, thoughtful moment. She can’t see his face, but there’s something markedly hidden in his voice. She inhales, unsure of the sudden prickling on her skin. “I guess not.”

Launching a brick-and-mortar store involves rigorous efforts at pre-launch, launch, and post-launch stages. The same goes true for the modern eCommerce storefront launch.
In a broad sense, online storefront owner or a company has to pass through following phases and answer the respective questions on each stage.
Initial Research & Market Strategies:
What to sell?-Selection of products/services
Whom to sell? Target Audience research
How much to sell? / How much to invest
Who are competitors and what they do
Where to stock – inventory management/stock tracking
How to take orders – order tracking
How to ship –shipping management
How to manage returns
What is the price/Profit/Budget? – Monetization
Building E-commerce:
Selection of domain name
Selection of eCommerce technologies
Selection of development team
Selection of marketing team and strategies
Designing
Programming
Selection of good content
Testing
Deployment
Compatibility
Support/maintenance/upgrades
Let’s explain each thing in detail that needs consideration before you launch a New Website.
1. Selection of Products/Services
When we look at the selling figures of other eCommerce stores obtained by our private circles, we tempt to mimic the same business with similar products or services in our geography or another.
In fact, it is fatal to go that way. Instead, we have to run thorough research to find out actual needs in the market for unique product or services. If you already have brick business with products/services, you simply go online with it. Otherwise, tons of business ideas are floating around the web; you can follow with some regional tweaks.
For instance, we take an example business of supplying flowers as gifts (Gift Shop) in your town, by taking online orders from the relatives or friends of recipients. You can do it at a charge and with doorstep supply and appropriate presentations according to the occasion.
This one seems to be a unique idea and a likely one.
2. Target Audience Research/Know Your Consumers
Once you find out what you want to sell, you should have in mind, to whom do you want to sell it. You should know,
Which computing devices they use
What are their buying preferences?
What is their demography?
What is geography?
What is culture?
Once you have all the answers, you can plan your eCommerce business strategies accordingly.
In our example business, the target audience would be outside relatives or friends of the citizens living in your town. Their demography and geography may vary according to the occasions.
3. How Much To Sell / How Much to Invest
Once you have decided the products or services to offer online and you know your target audience, you have to estimate the buying capacities of your prospective customers/visitors. If it is a regionally targeted business, you can compute it easily with local data available on trade centers or other industry sources.
However, it becomes challenging when you think of globally or in untraversed territories. Therefore, you should run a competitor survey using various eCommerce tools as well as use confidential resources to know how much they sell and how much we need to invest in an eCommerce business.
Thus, you can arrange financial resources accordingly as well as register your business based on investment and future expansion planning. For instance, you can register as Sole Proprietor, Partnership, LLC, or Corporation.
4. Who Competitors Are? What are They Doing?
As mentioned before, competitor surveys are highly beneficial to know market realities. Based on thorough competitor analysis, you can formulate your business strategies for business processes, production/purchase, marketing/selling, and financial planning.
5. Where to Stock – Inventory Management/Stock Tracking
If you have digital goods or services that hardly require anything to store, you are free from the warehouse, inventory storage, inventory management, and stock tracking worries or exercises.
There are third-party software and several inbuilt features in leading eCommerce platforms to do inventory management efficiently so think of it to integrate it into your eCommerce portal.
Stock tracking may help you to save your shoppers from frustrations when they realize that the product is out of stock at the end of the checkout process.
6. How to Take Order / Order Tracking
Just like inventory management, order tracking software is trendy in the eCommerce landscape. Your customers can track the status of their orders once it is fixed. They can cancel or modify orders at certain stages of shipping.
For an eCommerce business, there are software available to handle orders and relevant procedure like shooting emails accordingly and automatically. If you integrate order tracking with shipping management, you can save spending on human resources to do several things manually and can provide real-time order status as well as shipping status in your eCommerce modules.
Several products need special packaging for specific orders also based on the geographies of the recipients.
7. How to Ship –Shipping Management
E-commerce vendors have to tie with various shipping services regionally and internationally to meet the diverse needs of shipping according to the products/goods to deliver.
Most of the eCommerce platform offers shipping calculators or developers can integrate the best one to confer the shipping rates before producing a final invoice for payment. Thus, online shoppers can know the real price of the product when it arrives at doorsteps.
With the integration of order tracking software, you can track shipping status and prospective dates of arrivals.
8. How to Manage Returns
The biggest hindrance of eCommerce is it is devoid of real product touch so you cannot find out whether it is perfect for you or not and it happens when it arrives actually at your door after payment.
Therefore, reputed eCommerce vendors always offer return options with the required flexibility and precautions. Thus, honest customers can return unwanted goods immediately and get either replacements or money return if a replacement is not possible.
You have to introduce return policies and create modules during the eCommerce designing and programming process.
9. Monetization –What is Price/Profit/Budget
Once you set up the entire planning of eCommerce, you need to count the price tags for your products or services based on the investment, ongoing expenditure, eCommerce site development cost, maintenance of the site, and your profit to sustain the further growth of the business.
Frequent changes in prices, as well as mimicking price slots of your competitors, may not give your eCommerce the required boost, in the long run, so endeavor to come with own pricing policies.
E-commerce Development
Once you set up the eCommerce concept and the entire process mechanism, it is time to think of eCommerce website or web portal to realize the planning and efforts you have made in the form of a live and interactive eCommerce storefront running on the web.
In due course, you have to pass through following steps of eCommerce development and running the site on the Internet.
10. Selection of Domain Name & Business Registrant
Each business has a unique identity as its name so your eCommerce business should have a name that reflects its purpose and offers branding opportunities. Of course, registration of the business name is essential by following the laws of lands.
Based on the unique business name, you can register a domain name for online identity. If you are only with online business without any brick-and-mortar identity, you must select a unique domain name as you do with real-world business.
Just like a real-world business, you must go to obtain EIN (Employer Identification Number) to open a business bank account and fill up taxation requirements by securing social security number like things.
It is an essential step when the verification process goes for payment gateway integration and international currency exchanges.
11. Selection of E-commerce Technologies
It is a vital step; you may not able to select appropriate eCommerce platform without the help of experts, so it is better to carry this procedure after the next phase of selection of your eCommerce development team or company.
For the sake of information, today myriads of eCommerce platforms are running on the web to solve different purposes for various businesses. Among them, PHP open source with CMS capabilities are trendier, and Magento is ranking on the top beside WooCommerce, VirtueMart, and Ubercart.
The selection of technology may decide hosting requirements, hence the selection of hosting services.
12. Selection of Development Team
The topmost aspect which determines the success of eCommerce. The right talent, expertise, and skill have a distinguished role in the right product development. Therefore, you must carefully select the eCommerce team of designers, programmers, QA professionals, UX designers, and marketers by applying appropriate filters.
Check portfolio, testimonials, cross-references, social media, and reviews on the Internet to determine the capable team for you. Rates are afterthoughts because quality never comes with the cheapest so you must be ready to pay worth the quality you receive at the end.
13. Selection of Marketing Team and Strategies
If you have a decent online storefront with awesome products, but nobody has an idea of it, who will buy it all? In this age of competition, you should apply all possible Internet marketing techniques and tweaks in cost-effective ways.
You need to create a pre-launch landing page with Coming Soon message to start the buzz, keep its updates continue. Extend reach on social media. Declare marketing incentives such as freebies, gifts, vouchers, discounts, daily deals, location-based offering, and use Beacon technology in your brick store and integrate your online campaign.
You can go for natural SEO as a long-term strategy, but apply paid search on search engines and social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. for an initial boost.
These all require the assistance of seasoned online marketers and Perception System has a talented and experienced team to do eCommerce marketing.
14. Designing
Each eCommerce website demands unique designing approaches because each product is unique. Therefore, you and your designing team should run a thorough search on the web to find the best examples to follow or apply your creativity from the scratch solutions.
Your prior research and a deep interest in interactive prototyping may yield expected outcomes at the end.
15. Programming
The best coding practices and following high standards of programming can give high-quality eCommerce portal where UX and usability are at the core.
Seamless integration of external services and third-party software are a priority for eCommerce programmers. You should focus on SEO, performance optimization, and conversion optimization while creating functional eCommerce storefront.
Regional and international payment gateway integration with hassle-free checkout process is the demand of the day. Advanced search features and personalization technologies are trendy and contribute significantly to the success of most of the eCommerce sites.
Therefore, you need an excellent team of programmers with advanced eCommerce technologies, tools, and techniques knowledge as well as experiences. Perhaps the Perception System can give you a perfect answer by its excellent team of eCommerce programmers.
16. Selection of Good Content
Using different types of content and channels will help you deliver suitable content to each type of audience you have in your mind and engage everyone your company deals with. Your competitors most likely sell a similar product as you, which means your customers need to know what makes your product better or different. This is where content works. In order to prove why you’re worth buying from, you should prove why you’re worth listening to.
17. Testing
Testing begins with the beginning of the eCommerce development process, and each step needs some sorts of testing and quality assurance procedure. Therefore, you need to have highly qualified and experienced testers and QA professional to decide and implement right testing strategies and QA techniques.
The bug-free product is the first condition for excellent UX so check your testing team has all required arsenals like simulators and real computing devices including smartphones and tablets of all mobile platforms with different OS versions.
Touch gestures require special testing efforts with real users in UX testing so create and furnish right environment.
18. Deployment
For a high-performance eCommerce store, selection of right hosting is crucial. If you have scores of transactions involved in the operation of your online store, and your database has to accumulate or exchange sensitive, and private info, dedicated hosting or private cloud hosting are preferable options.
Use of encryption technologies and certificates may create trusts among the shoppers so ask your hosting providers for competitive rates.
19. Compatibility
It is more important because then the website will reach a maximum audience because of being accessed through many browsers including Firefox, Internet Explorer, opera, safari and probably the most popular browser – Google Chrome. Being compatible on platforms like – Mac, PC, PDA, Mobile phone, IPad, etc also helps increase traffic to the store. World Wide Web Consortium is the main international standards organization for the www which makes the sites more compatible as it allows them to be searched on more browsers.
20. Support/Maintenance/Upgrades
To build good rapports and efficient branding, excellent supports, maintenance, and updates are certain factors. Your reputation building processes on the web and social media only can respond when you have comprehensive and pleasing support services for the website experiences as well as products/services related experiences.
If you signup regular maintenance contracts with the right providers and follow regular software updates, product updates, and technology upgrades, you may surely win the battle of online business.
Conclusion:
E-commerce launching does not differ from the brick store launch process. You have to pass through all steps just keeping online mode in your mind. When a startup or a brick store owner thinks of selling online, he/she has to take care of each aspect of the business before going for eCommerce website development.
Careful planning and designing for excellent user experiences, usability, site performance, and site optimization can yield great rewards in the long run. Of course, the intensive help of expert eCommerce developers can make big differences in the quality as well as the cost of the development.
Therefore, leading brands and reputed businesses prefer Perception System and its eCommerce development team as their online store development partner.

The ultimate wedding tune is the shehnai’s “Pey-pey-pey-pey, pey-pey-pey…”. Yes, that same one. The ‘shaadi ki shehnai’ tune is known as the ‘Mangal Dhun’. The common music that is heard at weddings while walking the aisle is the ‘Here Comes The Bride’. Getting married is part of life’s goals for many. Whether it is summer, monsoon or an end-of-the-year wedding, the preparation, planning and anticipation for the special day remains the same.

Just Married or Newlyweds
Weddings and marriages are important milestones for not just the participants but for the families as well. In India, the occasion of matrimony is celebrated in an elaborate manner over a number of days. That is why, despite being a formal ceremony in many ways, a wedding or marriage will always remain trending.
It is an occasion for families and friends to come together, renewing their solidarity and also offering the couple with their blessings. The attendance for the wedding or marriage is always huge. The hosts need to put their best foot forward in terms of convenience, appeal, hospitality and return gifts.

Need For Marriage Personal Loan
Once the marriage plans are made, the first requirement is that of funds for the marriage. The hall needs to be booked. In case of monsoons, an indoor wedding hall is the priority. The urgency of getting funds for the wedding increases as most indoor halls get booked well in advance.
Next, there is the catering, transportation, wedding attire and arrangement of videographer to pay for. It is also wise to apply for extra funds for the honeymoon. All these need cash and spending for a wedding is never cheap. Even if there are saved funds, with a wedding and honeymoon, the estimated cost will be overshot. Here again, a personal loan makes sense.
Even a modest low-key wedding in India costs in excess of INR 2,00,000. With weddings a trend in the country, you wouldn’t want your wedding to stay low-key. You wouldn’t want your wedding to be devoid of superb lighting, stylish stage décor, pristine chandeliers, hashtag printed selfie booths, a spunky music band or the best food in town.
Then there is the fine jewelry, designer lehenga or expensive sherwani that needs your attention and money. The wedding day itself is going to be one hell of an enthralling and nervous ones of your life. A marriage personal loan can help reduce the stress of paying such large amounts of money. All you need to do is prepare a list of requirements that would need spending, make a total of it and set a budget against it. Once that is done, apply for a wedding personal loan at a reputed loan provider’s website.
A wedding personal loan covers every expense that is related to your wedding and honeymoon. A wedding personal loan is basically a personal loan that is offered by a reputed digital lending platform. With a competitive interest rate, and fixed EMIs, you can clear the loan easily once you are back from the honeymoon even.
Figuring the amount for the marriage personal loan is the biggest task. Keeping in mind the expenses, and your financial position to be able to repay the loan promptly, you can approach a digital lending platform who accepts the least number of documents, lets you calculate your EMI, and get the funds transferred to you instantly.

Marriage Personal Loan at Loan Singh
The unsecured aspect of a marriage personal loan in itself makes it a potent financial solution in times of wedding cash crunch. Suppose you remove the offline paperwork, delayed verification, repeated trips to the bank and delayed approval, from the travel loan availing process. And then you turn the process online, with only 3 documents (to be uploaded), an approximately 5-minute application process and doing all this from the confines of your home. These features, my friends, make an online travel personal loan even faster to avail.
A marriage personal loan is a fantastic option during times of sudden travel plans. Sometimes, your savings might not cover the complete cost of the wedding or marriage. You might sometimes need to supplement your wedding fund with a shot of cash from other sources.
It is true that a number of traditional lending institutions provide wedding loans. But, isn’t a quick marriage personal loan synonymous with quick, instant with reduced paperwork?
So, how to apply for an instant wedding personal loan? Are there any online marriage personal loan providers in India? The single answer to all these questions is Loan Singh.
Marriage Personal Loan Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for a marriage personal loan with Loan Singh are:
Salaried (receiving a monthly salary directly into your bank account)
Indian and above 21 years of age
A credit-worthy repayment history
No collateral needed
Benefits of Marriage Personal Loan
With a marriage personal loan entailing you to make fixed payments, you can hence plan your monthly income and expenses better. The tenure for the marriage loan is chosen by you, with excellent marriage loan interest rates.
The wedding loan is a convenient way to get immediate funds to then plan the wedding better. Your special day need not be shifted to another date, due to lack of funds. So, leave all the worries that is getting you stressed.
Most couples have a fair idea of what they want to spend on (additionally) on their wedding day. But, there are times when surprise expenses could come and rock your boat of expectations. Keyword density was another significant aspect during the early days, which opened the algorithms to abuse. The value of keywords meta tag has actually also been decreased< a href =https://www.anexinet.com#_ftn2 name=_ ftnref2 > [2] because Google not uses them in web ranking [3] Quality links that are mobile-friendly are now chosen over a high quantity of meaningless content. There is a shift towards enhancing user experience and, crucial of all, it is now content-driven. Delivering Material Providing static content on a website is not appropriate. Rating all 30 MLB groups’ official Twitter hashtags for the 2018 season
A bizarre annual custom in each league is the discharge of the brand new hashtags on Twitter. Yearly, every staff associates a tag with its emblem, in order that followers can showcase how huge of followers they’re and let the world know that they spend numerous time on the web. It may very well be a staff motto, an abbreviation or, if the staff is the worst, the staff’s title.
I ranked each slogan, which have been launched two days forward of Opening Day. Be at liberty to berate me together with your unhealthy hashtags. Additionally, Cardinals followers, I am sorry prematurely.
Excused — Colorado Rockies: #Rockies25th
25 years is a landmark price celebrating. Due to this fact, the social media staff will be excused for fulfilling staff obligations.
29. St. Louis Cardinals: #STLCards
I’ve this at useless final as a result of it is essentially the most Cardinal Manner factor ever to suppose you are too good for a slogan. “We are the STLCards, that is all we’d like. Our redbird emblem won’t ever be related to some campy motto.” I cannot promise that this rating is devoid of bias.
28. New York Mets: #LGM
Let’s Go Mets? However shorter? Come on guys. At the least make it “Will Tebow Play Professional?” (#WTPP?) or one thing. LGM is the title of an organization that everybody has heard of however nobody is aware of what it does. You may’t put LGM on a t-shirt.
27. Los Angeles Dodgers: #Dodgers
“We simply made the World Collection final 12 months, what’s going to illustrate that we actually suppose we will win all of it this 12 months?”
“Simply our title. Nothing else. Not even town.”
“Genius.”
The one dodging happening right here is the social media staff dodging its work.
26/25. San Diego Padres/Pittsburgh Pirates: #LetsGoTeam
#LetsGoPadres and #LetsGoBucs. I am most upset within the Padres, the Dream Meme Crew of 2017. Let’s go staff is so completely devoid of creativity I’m wondering if the homeowners mandate this to be a reputation. It is simply outstandingly lazy. Additionally, Pirates, calling yourselves shortened variations of Buccaneers is clear.
24-21. Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants: Actually a model of the staff title
#WhiteSox, #MNTwins, #TexasRangers, #SFGiants. Good work. You are all baseball groups. Perhaps I am being unfair, as a result of I like that wins is the one half lower-case on the Twins. However severely. I a minimum of count on higher from the Rangers. What occurred to #LonestarGrit?
20. Toronto Blue Jays: #BlueJays
Look, even the staff title is best than #LetsRise.
19. Milwaukee Brewers: #ThisIsMyCrew
I hate this as a result of followers are going to run this into the bottom. #ThisIsTheBrewCrew would have been higher, or one thing that does not so instantly tie the fan to the hashtag. I get the sentiment, however it’s so rattling try-hard. There is a spectrum for social media. If 29-20 are the laziest of the lazy, that is what occurs once you give the Brewers’ #BiggestFan naming rights.
18. Philadelphia Phillies: #BeBold
This has Gabe Kapler’s spastic fingerprints throughout it. The staff went from #GoPhils to #BeBold in a 12 months. Perhaps get your title in italics first.
17. Tampa Bay Rays: #RaysUp
This one is definitely annoying, as a result of it actually does not make sense. Are you flinging Rays round? Is it a play on stand up? If it is purported to be a slanted speech of stand up, I instantly rescind this rating and put this high 10. However I actually do not suppose that is the case, it is simply the Rays on the lookout for the excessive floor. Or, you realize, any footing in any respect.
16. Oakland Athletics: #RootedInOakland
This might positively be increased if the Athletics weren’t attempting so ridiculously laborious to get out of Oakland. Plus one for irony guys, however possibly do not taught your followers together with your social media presence.
15. Cleveland Indians: #RallyTogether
That is fairly tacky, which lends to me not liking it. However the Indians are tremendous insistent on this being a factor, and it has no enterprise being a factor. Sure, Indians, that is the purpose of baseball.
14. Chicago Cubs: #EverybodyIn
Indians’ followers asking me “what the hell man? That is simply as cheesy.” You are positively proper. Nevertheless it’s not #ThatsCub. I might put this under the Cardinals if the Cubs stayed with #ThatsCub. It is a minimum of a change. Even when it is nonetheless unhealthy, it is not top-tier horrible.
13. Detroit Tigers: #DetroitSummers
Much like the Cubs’ rating, it is a welcome change from “#WhosYourTiger,” principally as a result of that is most definitely for use in in the present day’s context as a ballot for who must be traded subsequent. Detroit Summers is not good — it sounds just like the title of an individual with some progressively non-progressive dad and mom — however it’s not #WhosYourTiger. Time to place that slogan the way in which of the staff’s success within the foreseeable future.
12. Houston Astros: #NeverSettle
Uh-oh, somebody instructed the Astros their price and now they’re posting Marilyn Monroe quotes on their Fb web page. Clearly, the defending champions do not wish to accept something lower than rings any longer. However man, one World Collection win and you’ve got certain added a strut huh?
11. Cincinnati Reds: #RedsCountry
This one is humorous (not ha-ha humorous simply “huh” humorous), as a result of a phrase goes a good distance. The Reds have been simply #Reds final 12 months, and they also mentioned “man, we gotta do one thing about this.” So that they added “nation,” and darn it, it form of works. Reds Nation form of flows, and it is positively an enchancment from final 12 months.
10. Arizona Diamondbacks: #GenerationDbacks
This one is arguably responsible of attempting too laborious, however a minimum of it is not #OurSeason. That will be fairly unhappy after final 12 months. Though I’ll say they misplaced factors for not making it #OkThisIsOurSeason.
9. Atlanta Braves: #ChopOn
This one needs to face out, and it must be recommended for that. It is a enjoyable catch-phrase and it offers followers one thing to rally round. It is form of like what the Brewers’ staff wished, however not horrible. Additionally, with Acuna, this turns into a bit extra relevant if he lives as much as expectations.
eight. Boston Crimson Sox: #DirtyWater
Soiled Water and The Fens have a number of ties to the Crimson Sox, and I genuinely admire the staff’s tribute to The Standells right here. The one cause that that is barely cracking the Prime 10 is as a result of “Soiled Water” was within the soundtrack for “Fever Pitch,” and I am unable to simply enable that to fly.
7. Baltimore Orioles: #Birdland
I do not know why I really like this one a lot. It is not overly intelligent, it is barely a play on the Orioles. There’s simply one thing actually satisfying in regards to the visible it evokes. “The Land” is a fairly overused cliche with reference to sports activities territories, however Birdland. That is a spot you do not wish to find yourself.
6. New York Yankees: #PinstripePride
It is easy. It really works. Just like the jerseys, you’ll be able to’t beat the classics. Sure, there’s an air of conceitedness about it, however that is the Yankees. Final 12 months was enjoyable with the #BronxBombersAreBack. Now, nonetheless, it is enterprise as typical because the Yankees attempt to decide up one other World Collection with the crew in place.
5. Los Angeles Angels: #TheHaloWay
It is a good, easy evocation of Angels imagery, and it seems weirdly good subsequent to the Angels’ emblem. This has been what the Angels have gone with the previous few years. You may see why they keep it up. The nickname the Halos works too right here, however I am a bit stunned they did not go together with “#TheHalOhtaniWay.
four. Washington Nationals: #OnePursuit
That is an instance of a fairly try-hardy expression that works. The Nationals must be in competition for a championship this 12 months, in order that lends itself to only one pursuit. This one is fairly easy, so it is laborious to hate on. It is simply the staff’s quest in direction of a World Collection. If it have been anybody apart from one of many high contenders within the league, this would not work. However they’re contenders, so it really works.
Three. Seattle Mariners: #TrueToTheBlue
I do not know why I like this one a lot, I feel I identical to the double that means. True to that Mariner navy blue blended with the Mariners’ pure affinity for water, it really works. It is also form of a twist on the “true blue” cliche, so I solely prefer it extra. Even when the Mariners are horrible this 12 months, it is a good phrase.
2. Kansas Metropolis Royals: #RaisedRoyal
Once more, the double that means does it right here. Raised as a Royal and a actually elevated Royals staff, it is catchy. Additionally, I am an absolute slave to alliteration. That may at all times knock issues up just a few factors. It is a actually good slogan for the staff, and it is simply easy sufficient to work.
1. Miami Marlins: #JuntosMiami
This interprets to Collectively Miami, and I adore it for its simplicity. I really like that it exhibits the staff hasn’t forgotten its followers, and I really like that it illustrates unity. That is most likely the one factor that the Marlins will win all 12 months, and it could illustrate one thing that runs diametrically against the staff’s philosophy, however purely as a slogan it really works.
Cardinals’ followers, I do not dislike you, however I admit watching followers get labored up menial issues is admittedly enjoyable.
