mi tinker just arrived in evergreen harbor, and she will no doubt leave her mark on the city.

she has the goofball, overachiever, and art-lover traits. she is a very creative and ambitious sim, she loves to use her brains to invent or improve things, even just her wardrobe. never one to take life too seriously, she prefers to be the comic relief in most situations…she has the most amazingly loud laugh that might cause some problems with these townies but she has survived this long, so she’ll be fine right?

Hiii ! I somehow believed that simblr gratitude day was on the 23rd of December (instead of the 20th 🥲), so I’m late to the party. BUT!

I really want to shoutout the simblrs that make me smile daily. ❤️

Simblr can be such a happy place. I absolutely love seeing everyone’s sims grow up, the numerous plot twists that leave me genuinely stunned, the well-thought-out storylines, the cozy posts, the amazing builds, and the beautiful CAS posts.

I love the diversity of interests in this community, and the creative joy that people showcase. Playing the sims can sometime feel lonely, but simblr allows this game to feel more alive trough the community.

Simblr makes me smile every day and I’m so happy to see other people’s enjoyment of this franchise (from the sims 1 to ts4).

I love you all! I can’t wait to see what all your sims get up to in 2024 hahaha ❤️❤️❤️

so why "upside down & inside out" by ok go for sam, my resident emo kid? simple! i wanted to establish sam outside of the context of their feelings for [redacted], and also, i think the song lyrics remind me of them the most--they know when they're being self-destructive but cannot stop themselves. i also think they are talking to themself, and asking someone else, if all of the versions of themself that they've tried to be (and this other person) are good enough. i think sam views love as something that equals full, unconditional acceptance. so they want this person to show up as they are. i think the lyrics in this song embody that, almost like sam is being challenged to do so. i also think it embodies their inner turmoil they go thru in their late teen/young adult years! the picture itself is of sam as teen, but the setting and the way they dress, and their amazement at the night sky in the city are all glimpses into the future--so it's somewhat hopeful. <3

tl;dr sam is learning to be less self-destructive but also to show up as themself. <3

I own all packs excluding the Batuu one. The only CAS kits I own are Grunge Revival and Simtimates but if there’s an item you really wanna use from a kit I don’t have, chances are good I have a bgc version I can swap in on my end 🫡

Hi Mollie thanks for the ask! I feel with our sims we insert a bit of our own personalities to their character, but Billy is most like me! Like Billy I am lazy and love to nap as well as have that unbothered attitude when it comes to doing work!! He also gets easily annoyed and has little patience which is me irl 😂

Last movie: Ooh gosh I don't know it's been ages. It might have been Tsai Ming-Liang's film Days. Half of it is a couple of blokes walking and sitting around, then the rest of it's a long gay massage and then waiting for a bus. Cracking stuff 😁 you've got to be in the right mood for his films but they are very unique that's for sure.

Currently reading: I've been sick this week and haven't been able to do much except watch telly and read. Just about finished Dream Houses by Genevieve Valentine. Sci-fis not my thing usually, maybe it's the fever talking but I liked this a lot. Very generic plot - stuck alone on spaceship with only AI computer for company, its treated more psychologically though and it really works well 👍

Sweet/spicy/savoury: mostly all I want to eat now is dry toast 😢

Something You Want In the Game: God so much? No not really actually, there's a lot I really like in the game. I hate to admit it but I'm kind of one of those people that wants cars, and that's not because I'm some car head or anything, it's just because it's the direction I for some reason pushed my historical story towards .....
