DAEMYRA X READER THOUGHTS

So, one of the reasons why I made this blog is because of a little plot bunny that I have not been able to get to leave my head so I figured I'll share it with you all! Here are my thoughts about being in a poly relationship with both Daemon and Rhaenyra. These thoughts will include NSFW thoughts. It is dom!reader with switch!rheanyra and switch!daemon.

Both Daemon and Rhaenyra wanted you long before they ever made a move. Once their marriage was official, it didnt take them long to begin fantasising about you. Daemon saw the way Rhaenyra looked at you and so naturally the next time they were fucking, he started talking about you and from there, mentioning you while they were together was commonplace.

You'd first kiss Rhaenyra. It happens one night, the two of you sitting by the fire and talking, Rhaenyra complaining about her small council and about feeling disrespected by many of them. At some point the topic of Daemon came up, and how Rhaenyra honestly didnt even know when he was going to show up again. You promised her that she'd never have to deal with that with you, and that she deserved better.

And then suddenly you two are kissing and the next thing you know, you're in her private chambers, your head between her thighs. She tells you how her and Daemin have fantasised about you, how Daemon will be so jealous to hear that she got to have you first.

When Daemon does return, he very nearly combusts when he finds you and Rhaenyra curled up together on their bed. Needless to say, he jumps right in.

The funny thing is that your dynamic with Daemon couldnt be more different than your dynamic with Rhaenyra. With Rhaenyra, you're gentle and soft. Yes you are very much the dom, but she is your queen, you look after her, ensure she doesn't have to make a single decision from the moment she retires to her bed for the evening.

Meanwhile with Daemon you are so harsh. Daemon needs a heavy hand, and he will brat and fight and disobey until he gets the level of punishment and attention that he desires. You drag him by his hair to bed, spank and scratch him, edge him until he's sobbing.

And to everyone's delight, Daemon is actually significantly less of a cunt when he's regularly getting absolutely wrecked by you.

One of your favourite things to do is to tie Daemon to a chair facing the bed and then just absolutely worship Rhaenyra. Daemon can't do a thing but watch. He always starts out stubborn, but before long he's shaking and whining begging for anything, even just for you to free one of hands so he can touch himself.

Another favourite is to get Daemon on his knees with his hands tied behind his back and then make him give you or Rhaenyra head like that. He's not allowed to use his hands at all, and he's not allowed to stop until you tell him to. Sometimes if you're feeling particularly cruel, you'll make him eat Rhaenyra out like that while you edge him. He's not allowed to cum until he's made Rhaenyra cum twice.

Daemon will dom Rhaenyra on his own when it’s just the two of them, but funnily enough the moment you’re in the mix he stops wanting to be the dom? Speaking of Daemon being well… Daemon, Rhaenyra will often send you to go fetch Daemon from whichever castle he’s wondering around in and bring him back.

However these trips aren’t just you finding daemon and dragging him back to dragon stone by his ear (though that is definitely part of it), it’s also you punishing the ever loving fuck out of that idiot. He gets spanked and edged and degraded, all the rough treatment he loves.

And so by the time you reach dragon stone, Daemon is no longer all smug and confident but instead will just fall to his knees in front of Rhaenyra and beg her to forgive him. He always says he’ll never do it again and he always does it again within a fortnight.

Oh and lastly, when Jace found out of this he kinda just sighed and said “Oh great, I have another parent.”

Switched Career AU

I’m aware the name sounds like a sims expansion pack I’ll fix it later

So i got this idea when i was thinking about how younger me misunderstood Alice in the first episode.

I thought that when she said “country boy” she meant he was a cowboy. And i thought this for like a whole year.

And then i thought “What if he was a cowboy?” But thats too easy and boring + They already kinda did that in s4. Not really but close enough (i have enough memes of Cowboy Clay locked an loaded anyway so i think I’ll survive) So i continued thinking and remembered from the Knights code how Clay said a certain sword was easy enough a child could make it. And i just started assuming he must have some knowledge in weapon making. Cuz why not? and also! I didnt neglect the other knights for this project! THATS A FIRST!

I gave them minor redesigns, nothing too mayor but still something. (also all of this is pre-knights academy. So they’re like 15 or sum)

Yet again, just playing with the idea that he works as a blacksmith, providing for him an his brother.

I somehow thought out more for Aaron than Clay??? Big things are happening in Detroit ngl

I have a skit planned with Ruina involved, but more on that later

And for Merlok: guess he just never found him. Or he died. Idk I’ll figure something out later.

Oh and since Merlok couldn’t find him he just kinda grew into his powers, and so did Fletch. They dont know much tho about it and just use it as some sort of minor day to day tool. But they haven’t trained it so its just still kinda uncontrollable at times, remaining heavily linked to emotions. (All of this still in very early development dont come for me)

I have no clue what Aaron’s dad works as but i just made him a fisherman.

Aaron still craves danger, but the danger of fishing (cuz that shit can be real fucking dangerous let me tell ya that-)

He’s still too younge tho, but he can’t stop talking about it, and how much he wish he could join his dad on his boat (He has snuck on on several occasions but turns out hiding under deck during a storm isn’t a good idea. The only reason he stopped was cuz he’d miss out on the fun part regardless) Him and Clay are friends, meeting every now and again when Clay and Fletch come and buy fish from his family.

He’s been very excited about taking over the restaurant, already having a plethora of dishes he wants to make (and eat ofc).

He’s friends with Aaron, given they also buy fish from his family. He’s not very familiar with Clay tho. They’ve been at the fish market at the same time once or twice but barely talked. But they still see each other as friends, just not very close

Macy is still, Macy ig? I’m not sure what to do with her. So i just made King Halbert more chill. She takes several combat classes and planning on becoming a fighting queen if anything.

Her and her family are going on a trip through out the kingdom with the Richmonds. On her end its more of a meet and greet thing, but it’s different for Lance.

OG Lance must be quite jealous. He was sent into the acting industry at a very young age. He thrives in it, taking role after role back to back.

However this next one requieres some sort of reference with the commoners. He joins Macy’s family (Bringing his agent and Dennis with him obv.) as they travel through the country sides of the kingdom. He honestly can’t wait to go home and take a dip in the gold pool.

Idk why this thing kinda makes me sad but oh well, it’s the truth after all.

I am planning on writing this. Like fanfic wise.

But whenever that’ll be out is a mystery.

I haven’t written a fanfic since my wattpad days and AO3 still lowkey scares me.

Also other than Fletch so am i not sure what to do with Ava, Robin or Izzy. So if ya have any ideas, please share, i have no clue.

ok so, about four years ago during my first year of hs, i met this guy in my class, he was a little shit but we instantly clicked. immediately became best friends, dude basically lived in my house lmao. we went on vacation together that summer, and we had a blast. literally one of the best summers of my life i had sm fun.

second year of hs starts, and suddenly he's not talking to me or any of our friends anymore. literally just ignores us and hangs out with some other guys from our class instead. weird asf, but he was being a real dick so me and my friends quickly dropped the thing and opted for mutual disinterest.

i have no idea how or why, but near the end of the year one of our friends managed to talk with him, and he completely switches up. now he's talking to everyone like nothing happened.

except for me.

he's not talking to me. actually he is actively ignoring my existence. "what an asshole" you'll say. "so did your friends say anything, maybe drop him for acting like that?" lmao. please.

so anyways, the point is he's got everyone bouncing on his dick. classmates swarm him like flies to a lamp. he's the coolest guy around, he's so funny. that includes my friends btw. so i spend the third year of highschool feeling like no one actually wanted me around, cause they had him. but i was clinically depressed and i knew that i couldn't handle any more drama, so i said nothing and tried acting like nothing happened, ngl it was pretty pathetic looking back 💀

the thing kinda peaks when we decide to go on a trip together during the summer. that was so shitty bro i wanted to walk in traffic i genuinely felt like they would be having i better time without me there.

but anyways, i survive that somehow. that was early in the summer, i use the rest of it to work of my mental health and by the time my fourth year starts i was doing much better. my friends also stopped being assholes lmao, i suspect they heard me when during the vacation i cried to my mom on the phone for two hours and they felt bad but uhm. regardless. dude was still pretending i didnt exist.

good for him ig. i decide i've been pathetic enough and just start ignoring him the same way he ignored me. the mutual ignoring goes great, i'm doing much better. near the end of the year me and my friends (The Guy wasn't there) get drunk as shit and i decide to bring up this issue. i get some feedback from my friends: one of them tried asking him what happened between us and he answered "go fuck yourself". cool. another person thinks he has a crush on me and is shit at managing it. fair guess but it's an asshole move. someone else says maybe i accidentally hurt him. also a good guess, but i didn't do anything, and if i did, i didn't do it on purpose and he should've said something. overall, we're all confused.

school year ends, we organize another trip. i'm stressed as fuck. then on the first evening, he asks if someone can put his powerbank in their bag cause he doesnt have one, and i offer mine since i was the only one with extra space.

and i guess i broke his brain, because now he's talking to me like the previous two years never happened. which is. wild.

but i decide to be nice and cool about it and go along with it. we're civil to eachother. dare i say he acts weirdly friendly sometimes, which was actually genuinely shocking for me. he literally split his food with me of his own volition. TWO TIMES. wtf???? i also dont get marginalized this time!! i had the best time of my life actually!! my bed almost caught fire but that's a completely different story.

so uhm. i spend the remaining month and a half of summer wondering if he's still gonna be like this when school starts? cause if i know one thing, it's that he might change his mind for no reason.

the answer is no btw. it's like the trip never happened. today was our fifth day and the only time we talked this entire week was when i asked him something about class and he answered LOOKING AT THE PERSON NEXT TO ME. AS IF THAT GUY HAD ASKED THE QUESTION AND NOT ME??

he and the rest of my friends (except for one who wasn't available) are hanging out rn btw. they went to the cinema. "why are you saying they and not us" cuz i didn't get a fucking invite lmao. we're back at the start babeyyyy im going to walk into the sea.

Found someone’s predictions about recoupling and they make so much sense

Casa side:

Bella/Lewie (in my playthrough) so I actually think she is going to stick and the only reason being that FB doesnt usually have more than 2 switches from each side. even in s2 if u didnt switch then it made Chelsea switch. Midnight Gaming: "is there anything more sunless than the zee?"

So last night I played Sunless Seas: Zubmariner Edition past midnight, check socials and found... nothing of interest..

So Fallen London, the gothic horror text adventure browser game. I've seen some posts here and there about it and it has managed to compel me to get back into it. I used to play it back when it was called Echo Bazaar and it was an interesting sort of game where you can do tasks and follow stories about tomb-colonies, devils, secrets and mysteries, within a limited number of actions. It is an energy based f2p game so you are meant to check it every now and then. You can find my profile here:

So after getting into fallen london, i did end up recalling that i actually have the game that takes place in the same universe on switch, Sunless Seas. So here is my elaboration of my first session on Sunless Seas and first stint as a zee-captain. The tale of Captain Emily.

Emily didnt start off dreaming of the zee, she was simply a studious girl with lofty ambitions of being famous, a name sung in chorus across the neath. In her youth, she tore into books telling the tales of zee-beasts, zee-pirates, zee-...treasures? And the brave zailers who sail the zees under the guise of their stalwart captain. So when word reached Emily about a wealthy family members death and thier inheritance being brought generously to them, the notions of zee-life tore its way into Emilys mind like the regrets of youth, bringing with them nostalgia so potent you could kill a pensioner with a concentrated longing for the "good ole days".

The new Zee-captain stepped on her new ship, glanced at the crewmen at work and decided to set out for the first time on the open zee. No sooner than when she left port, she got confused with the controls, pushed the engines to explode and damaged her ship. She then ends up getting repairs done, burning some supplies and not sure how to get the ship going again before a passing crab decides to bully her and scratches her ship, receiving a volley of cannonfire for the trouble. Slinking back into londons harbour, Emily felt a bit foolish after burning through a chunk of her early supplies, until a kindly blind bouncer offered some supplies for no catch, just a favour in return in the future.

This favour ended up being to deliver a crate of brilliant souls to Mt Palmerstom, an area that Emily has not found and therefore does not know. Plus its apparently not a very good idea to carry this crate around london since it does bear a rather "contraband" quality to it. So Emily set out to find Mt Palmerstom... and fail.. It was getting a bit difficult to manage different supplies to avoid disaster, finding some different harbours but no Mt Palmerstom, the zee works in strange ways in that major landmarks can change location per person, and for Captain Emily, the illusive Mt Palmerstom could be on the other side of the Zee, and there was not enough fuel or food to last them the trip.

Docked at Gaiders Mourn, nursing a fresh wound from desperate sacrifice to the gods for a bit of fuel, Emily weighed her options. No fuel, no supplies at least not enough to make it back to london and one crate of contraband that could get her a trip into prision if she even does even make it back. But a trader would gladly buy it, enough echoes for enough fuel and supplies to make it back home to deal with the consequences. The lights of London shone bright as the ship docked, Emily takes a step off the ship before the unamused bouncer greets her with both contempt and gaggle of thugs. 4 crewmembers were lost in the fight, leaving only 2 surviving. The debt is settled, not with a favour repaid but in blood, thankfully not hers.

Despite the losses, Emily was able to bounce back quite sucessfully thanks to the discovery of some simple yet enterprising work with the admiralty. It turns out docking at various harbours gives you some opportunities to explore the areas, follow some stories, much like the browser game itself. One opportunity is to create a port report, a report of the port, to report to the admiralty of the port who reward the reporter for their port-report of the port that is to be report. And doing so gave you some echoes but also some valuable fuel, along with some favours that can be traded for more fuel and cheap ship repairs. The admiralty work proved reliable, so Emily became the Nightdive Studios of the Neath.

Captain Emily was able to sustain herself with port work and felt truly capable, even getting a true zailor tattoo. So while at the tundra harbour of wither, Emily paid a visit to a church and decided to smash it up, denouncing the gods and telling the gods to zuck it before heading off for more work. Given how the gods were nice enough to give some fuel earlier for Emily during the souls arc, this was quite unappreciative of her. And it would be repaid in kind soon. Maybe..

Hunters Keep was a common stop in Emily travels, the sisters were nice enough, the chance for company calmed Emilys nerve and the luncheons were quite nice. This time was different tho, as the lights at the old house were dark and the atmosphere dense. The house was empty save for one feral maid who attacked the captain. In the attempt to try and subdue the yellow-eyed servant, a fire was started and brought the whole house to infernal ruin. Leaving Hunters Keep behind, Emily was stricken with worry over the sisters and what happened to them, wondering where they could be. Atleast she had the sense to loot the place before it caught aflame, she figured the sisters wouldnt mind.

After the Hunters Keep fiasco, Emily decided to deliver some mushroom wine to the tomb-colony of vanderblight. The dead greeted her, eagerly awaiting the delivery before inviting her to toast the occasion. The fire of Hunters Keep still burnt into her mind, Emily accepted the offer and took a swig. She woke up in a moth-riddled crypt with a hangover and no payday. Dammit. Afterwards she stood at the frozen gate in northeast, stared into the stillness of the fake stars. Gathered some more port reports at new locations. Even intervened in foreign politics by joining the rats for the war of pigmote island, leading a warcrime against the guinea pigs and leaving the new rat kingdom with an albino rodent pal. That whole war took place in text, all of it.

Making it back to london, Emily wasnt sure what else to do, she was tired and wanted to close this chapter for now, but not before starting a lesbian romance. And thats it for now, i didnt really manage to get a satisfying death out of it without forcing it but i suppose when i return i may end up meeting a gruesome end as Captain Emily.

So yeah, Sunless Seas is pretty neat. There is the other game Sunless Skies which is sort of a sequel to Seas with some improvements. Since i wasnt able to find some interesting news on socials. I may aswell mention this news since its fitting, Fallen London is getting a tabletop game in 2025, being handled by Magpie Games. Annoncement page shall be linked here:

After the main event came the battle event and Sixth Master decided to switch it up from Gajeel to you and Natsu for the battle portion. Walking hand in hand out to the arena after Sabertooth was announced. You both let go of your hands.

"Looks like the couple is ready to fight! Natsu Dragneel and (N/L)" The announcers yell.

"What?! Wheres Gajeel? I dont want to fight a girl!" Rogue yells at Natsu.

"Oh believe me (n) is our strongest dragon slayer in Fairy Tail! She was also with me on Tenro island for those seven years" Natsu defends you.

"Heh that just means we have seven years on you two losers!" Sting yells.

"All right everyone let's get ready for this fight and go!" Pumkin man says as the gong sounds. No one moved at first but then they started spouting off nonsense like how they killed their parents. You hear Natsu say

"Thay were your parents dont you even care?!"

"You guys are scum I cant wait to dispose of you" you say crossing your arms.

"Shut your mouth sweetheart you dont matter" Sting says venomous. You just shrug it off as Natsu is steaming.

"I wont let you talk to her like that!" Natsu yelled as he ran up to Sting and punched him hard. Rogue says to you

"So your my opponent let's go"

He attacks as you block every move perfectly.

"How can you block my attacks I'm a shadow!" Rouge yelled frustrated.

"I've trained against a lot of different dragon slayers except you two and our master uses light so your the only one I havent battled with now" you yell as you cetch him off guard grab his wrist and slam him into the ground. You felt pain behind you as you turn your head to see Sting had attacked you to provoke Natsu ripping some of your clothes. You had been wearing a crop top and shorts. You were flung fifty feet away and landed in the dirt on your feet.

"Once we win I'll make her mine and do whatever I want to her, what do you say to a bargain? And if you win?" You hear Sting yell.

"I wont let that happen! (N) is mine and mine alone!" Natsu yelled at Sting. As you were distracted Sting and Rouge dragon roared at you from opposite sides. At the last second you see Natsu hop behind your back and you both dragon roared dispersing their attack.

'Think if you need me that was too close' Natsu thinks telepathically since you've both imprinted.

'I'm sorry I'm just pissed off and let them corner me let's do this' you think to Natsu. You go for Sting as Natsu goes for Rogue. Blocks and dodges then you get a punch in, using your gravity throwing him into a wall.

'Okay switch now!' You think. You and Natsu switch enemies and run so fast it looks like you teleported. Then barrage punch your assigned enemy. Once done you both jump back. Sting and Rogue jump up high as they use

"Holy Ray!" Sting yells.

"Unison Raid!" Rogue yells.

'Shit!' You think as Natsu jumps to your back.

'Dragon roar now!' Natsu thinks to you. You first really quickly while Sting and Rogue are powering up, use

'Gravity armor! Gravity dragon roar!' You think as Natsu thinks

'Iron dragon roar' but it wasnt enough as the ground gave way and you both fall though you feel Natsu wrap his arms around you. As you use your gravity armor on him as well to cushion his blow as hes holding you, you being on top then bam! You both hit the bottom and lay there for a second as Natsu thinks

'You okay (n)?'

'Ya ugh are you okay tsu-kun?' You think.

'Ya I'm fine. Now I've got a fire in my belly!' Natsu yells in both your minds. Sting and Rogue fall down facing both of you.

'Sorry (n)' Natsu thinks as he pushes you into a mine cart and pulls the lever.

"Nats- blehhh" you go riding down the mine cart feeling super motion sick. After a while you cant hear Natsu or the crowd anymore, suddenly the cart stops fast throwing you out. You fall into a wall and think

You give a speech about how you know the timing of their moves and power levels then they attack with

"Holy Shadow Dragon's Flash Fang!" Sting yells as Rogue yells

"White Shadow Dragon's Rough Silk!" They both combined their powers and right before their attack you create

"Hidden Fire Form- Crimson Lotus Phoenix Blade!" You yell as it cuts through both their moves and burns them to a crisp. Sting and Rogue fall koed! The crowd goes wild and the announcer says

"Dragneel defeated them both at once! Amazing folks! Ten points to Fairy Tail!"

'I need to go get (n) or shell kill me' you think as theres too many walls to use telepathy. You go down to the mines as you leave them behind you.

You cry as your weakness is being alone. Eventually you cant go on and shiver, sitting down crying by yourself. Trying to telepathically contact Natsu but the walls are too thick.

Thinking about how the dsi i got for my 8th birthday in 2010 changed my entire life. Thinking about how every purchase ive ever made in relation to the nintendo switch has been a fomo-fueled, regrettable waste of money.

Thinking about how when i got my first job, i spent my first paycheck entirely on that switch and within the first month i had joycon drift and a broken charger. Thinking about how ive never gotten drift on either of my 3ds, nor my brother on his 3ds, or my sister on hers. Thinking about how i still use my original dsi charger with my name on it in sharpie for all 3 of my ds, over a decade later.

Thinking about how the battery life on my switch is so bad that it permanently lives on its dock, yet my New Nintendo 3DS™️ sat in a box, dead for years before my step mom gave it to me. its battery lasts all day.

Thinking about how for every road trip, every flight, every overnight stay ive ever taken since my 8th birthday ive brought a ds with me, thinking about how i cant even bring my switch to the mall or park because it dies in a few hours whether i even turn the darn thing on or not. Thinking about how it didnt even occur to me to bring my switch on my latest trip.

Thinking about how the 3rd time my dsi was dropped down a flight of stairs, there was a small crack by the power light so i lovingly reshelled it to a beautiful clear blue shell, no damage otherwise. Thinking about how my friend accidentally snapped off the stand on her switch the week she got it just trying to get it open.

Grief is one of those things that feels like. Static. Like it's not always there. It's not always loud. It can become white nosie in the background so easily. But startle you at the same time. That's what today felt like. Sometimes I felt like I was bursting, wanting to tell someone. But mostly I felt quiet and a little lost in thought.

I slept alright. I was pretty exhausted. I woke up and was having a hard time actually getting up. My brother had texted me. I told him I loved him.

I got dressed. I love overalls for camp. Especially when it's feild trips. I need somewhere to put my phone and my chapstick and my walkie. James helped me get ready and get out the door. They put some fruit and a pastry and a sandwich in my backpack. And told me their plan for biking to Annapolis.

Since they still didn't have a phone, when they got to the cafe they normally stop at they would ask to use their phone and call and leave me a voicemail so I knew they were safe. I really appreciated that. They would leave the house right after me and I got to say goodbye one more time before they biked away.

I had a pretty easy ride to camp and got there right after 8.

I wasn't sure that the art building would be open and I had left my key so Annabelle could finish putting her things away. But I lucked out and the key was still in the door.

I brought my stuff in that I had chosen from my studio to get stored there. Mostly small materials and containers. And then moved the table to the corner to open up the space more. I was pretty pleased.

I drove down to the office and sat on the porch and had my pastry and waited for Elizabeth to get there.

When she did she let me in the office and gave me the ropes key. Even though there are apparently 6 copies of this key none of the others could be found. So I just let the group chat know I had it and drove up to set up my program.

I was struggling with the ladder so I wasn't moving fast. But I was done in 15 minutes. Nick and Celia would drive over to get the key to set up zip, and soon after I was walking past them when Sarah called and asked for the key next. I offered to bring it to her. I got the gator and the key from Nick and sped down to the office and got Sarah and we raced to the tower.

This was because the group was already there and wanted to start almost 45 minutes early and leave an hour early. This was not going to happen. But we also didn't want them to have to start late. I helped Sarah set up and spotted her on the ladder. I have never helped set up tower so it was fun to learn. And I like working with ropes so I didnt mind.

I did struggle to get the gator turned around and she had to move the small picnic table so I could get out. And then we raced up to the lodge.

But we beat Nick and Celia and Elizabeth. Ah well. Sarah took some pieces of cake out of the freezer for us to have at lunch. And very soon we were getting our groups and heading to our programs.

And really despite my inside sadness I had a good day. I was for sure not as "on" as I normally am. But these kids are so good. Like wildly good. The day flew by.

James and me were talking about how boring ground elements and low ropes can be but everyone has fun when I do it so when the teachers kept telling me how much fun they were having it made me feel good. And the kids were super engaged.

We would start with whale watcher. Since the walk to the ground elements area is a long one, it's nice to start with a sit down program.

The first group would get 1:50, the second group 3:48, and the last group got 5:05. They could have gotten more but they got bored. Fair.

Then it was onto A frames. Which they seemed to love once they got the hang of it. I don't have them race because it's to tight but it was fun having them all get a try. The last group struggled but it was more a strength thing.

I showed all the groups my tricks for getting the ropes taut and they seemed impressed.

We would switch to low ropes after that. I had the first and third elements set up because they are the best ones. They all thought my "paws not claws" speech was funny and kept yelling it at each other to remind themselves not to grab the person on the tightrope.

We had some falls but no injuries. Mostly the kids were funny and sweet. I also just got to chat with the teachers and that was fun.

Finally we would do the team wall. Which I hate but they love. And it was funny when they would try things that absolutely would not work and just hurting themselves throwing their bodies at the wall. Also they were very sweet not wanting to touch or grab each other without checking it is okay. It was nice to see.

At the end of the day someone did get scraped on the wood and had a pretty bad abrasion on their back. I hope they are alright because it looked pretty uncomfortable.

The day would be mostly good though. We got a brief break after the first program. Which is when I discovered my water bottle had opened in my backpack and the whole back was soaked. Thankfully only my scrunchie and my wallet were wet. And nothing was ruined at all.

I took it to the office during the break and dried it out. I would leave it on the porch to dry more.

I talked to Heather and told her about my cousin. She gave me a big hug. I wanted to hide from it because I was afraid I would cry. But it was still a nice hug even if I couldn't let go of the right hold I had on my feelings today. I had to keep it in a separate box.

At lunch I sat in the field and ate my pineapple. Celia would come join me and brought me a piece of the freezer cake. We sat quietly together. She told me about the homemade tomato sauce she had with her lunch. It was nice to be outside. Even if it was humid and sticky.

The last program I had was only 7 kids. And they got through everything so fast. They were also the only group to get everyone over the team wall. Proud of them. And at the end they helped me carry all the materials up to the tool shed. And I told them I would see them in 4 years when they were seniors. Which is what this school does. Super sweet. I hope they have a good first year of highschool.

I finished putting away my ropes. I continued to struggle with the ladder. And then I remembered because I left my bag to dry on the porch I did not have my car keys. My car was parked up with my at ground elements. So I was a little annoyed I would have to walk back here but it was fine. The exercise was good for me.

I went to the office to check in with Heather about some schedule stuff. What I need to update on my lesson plans. Just a few little things. I already did part of it. And then I got called to come help Sarah. Well I got called in my walkie. Because I had 4 missed calls from Celia, Elizabeth, and Sarah. Oops. I apologized to everyone in the chat. And walked down to help her out.

It was nice to talk to her. I discovered her parents had her and her twin sister at 44 so our parents are the same age. Neat! And I helped her when she got a cut on her hand. We got everything put away and walked back to the office together.

I would go to the art building. Said goodbye until next time to Sarah. I put all my supplies away that I brought this morning. It did not take very long. But that's as alright. I said goodbye to the building and locked the door this time.

I walked back to my car. I discovered it takes me 8 minutes to get there from the art building when I'm alone. And then I drove home.

There was no traffic. And it was an easy ride. When I got back to our neighborhood I found that the cube shelf someone left on the sidewalk yesterday was still there so I pulled over and snapped it up. It needs some tightening and it needs to be painted (It was painted red and has some black floral shapes on it) but I think it will be great to have. Make some more vertical shelving in my studio maybe. Or I'll use it at camp. We will see.

I got home and James has trimmed their hair and looked very handsome. They were waiting on their new phone but Margret at the museum was bringing it to them in the next hour or so.

I took a shower. I washed my hair and got changed. And then got to work on my piggy plushie ideas. They are flat and only have two legs but I love them so far.

I was starving. James warmed me up spaghetti. I would pause my work to eat. And then right back in. I got 8 bodies done. And 3 stuffed and embroidered and ready to be sewn shut. I love how they are looking. Well see if the next set has more legs. I will charge less for their leglessness.

My back was hurting to much to do more sewing though. I will save the finishing work for tomorrow.

James would have a few video calls. And I would wait for them to be done to make me dumplings. But in the middle of their calls Margret came with the phone. And when James went down to get it they also brought up two packages for me!

One was the dress I hope to wear for a wedding were going to in October. It's a beautiful burnt orange sweater wrap dress. I feel beautiful in it. And the other package was the backpack James got me.

But I was slightly disappointed. It was not the green one I wanted because they stopped selling it apparently. James would get me black instead. Still the coordory I wanted but not the color. I let myself be a little disappointed for a moment. But I honestly love the bag. The black is really lovely. And my pins will look really nice against it. The triangle pin mom gave me this past week works so perfect on it already. And the size of the bag is excellent, it fits my back perfectly and doesn't feel to large like some standard backpacks do on me

I moved my stuff to the bag and discovered a whole pocket I didn't know it had and am thrilled about. I love my new bag. I can't wait to use it.

James finished their call and made us dinner. And got their new phone set up. Which took some doing because they couldn't transfer things over with the other ones screen not working. But the new one is really nice and seems perfect. Now they just need a waterproof case for it.

We have been hanging out in bed for a while now. We made a plan to go to a training at the museum tomorrow. Where I will sew. I love sewing during meetings. And then we'll go have a nice lunch and spend the afternoon together. I'm looking forward to it. Let's hope tomorrow is kind.

June 8th - Frustration

Frustrated is my feeling for the day.

I am disappointed that Daddy and Sissy have pretty much given up on quitting smoking already. I am frustrated that Sissy constantly doesn’t follow the rules, I feel like I am the one that is being the Domme but I am having to do it through Daddy.

I have been questioned myself a lot lately. Perhaps I am not a submissive, perhaps I am a switch. Should I let loose my Mistress side? Domme Lea but be dommed by Daddy? How would I even bring that up, and how would that dynamic even work? (side note - because I feel like I want sissy and daddy to read this - this is nothing set I just need to get my thoughts out of my head)

I feel like I could be a Mistress again (I used to do it all the time in RP) Anarane was a Switch, she dommed many people, but only the truly strong males could dom her ... and it was pretty hot. Their hand wrapping around her throat and forcing her to submit .... mmph.... just remembering it makes me tingle.

I am also frustrated because I feel like Daddy needs to be a stronger dom, but Im not sure if he can be. He is a sweet, soft, caring Daddy - which don’t get me wrong I love - but sometimes I want more, and sometimes I feel like Lea needs more. I don’t want to force Daddy into being something he is not. So I have also contemplated perhaps seeking out another more Dominate Dom to join our family .... not that I ever would without talking to everyone first, but it is a thought that crosses my mind quite often.

I havent been feeling very little lately, and I miss having my little days ... that is something I dont ever want to give up, but if Im going to have to take control and be the one who decides on discipline, pain or pleasure, then lets just do that.

For starters, I’d limit them both to 4 smokes a day and if they use them all up early. Too bad, deal with it until the next day and try to ration it better. Or I’d st certain times, you get one when you wake up. One more around lunch, one in the afternoon and one after dinner. Not only would it help their health, it would save us all money - which we are all rather short on. It makes me feel guilty about going out for dinner, when I know were struggling and going to be out of money again come Monday and just barely hanging on until my payday.

As it is, I did a cash advance for Ottawa, paid it back then borrowed again because I didnt have any cash left. And will probably have to do it again this pay. Hoping come the first when I get my double pay I can pay it off and then leave it alone.

Sissy is even worse off, she’s living off her overdraft, which is causing friction in her and Kirstens relationship, and I was rather annoyed when Daddy said she could buy some toys at Walmart. Managed to convince her to buy something that was more useful and less money at least, but she was rather mad when I took her toys and said not unless daddy says .... and then he goes and says yes.

I feel like I have to remind him to check in on Sissy, to make sure she’s wearing her glasses, or drinking water (which I dont think she has done in days) yet he doesnt really check in with me and there is no one to remind him that I need help too. 

Perhaps our dynamic should shift. I need a Master, I would then be a MIstress to Lea ... but would still be Daddys girl and Sissy would be daddys brat. I dunno, Im just trying to figure everything out.

Im also frustrated with the pets. I hate that Loki is always in my face. His humping the bed bothers me as does his gross penis. I dunno it just makes me uncomfortable. I am not a dog person by any means, and Id never ask sissy to give up her dog, I hate that Boba and Loki dont get along, but I also like that hes not in the living room and constantly in my face. I feel like if he was, I’d end up sequestering myself to the bedroom a lot, just to be away from him and with my kitties. Dogs are fun once in a while, but Im not a huge fan of living with one. *This part I would never tell Lea though, as I know it would really upset her*

I am worried about when Kirsten comes to live here. The way Lea gets annoyed with her antics makes me upset, I still feel a bit awkward and uncomfortable around her, especially when we are alone. And even on the Ottawa trip I foud myself saying “Shut up” In my head when she would start going on about certain things, and just wanting to get away from her. She tries to get it on the play time and it seems to only bother Lea, which in turn bothers me, but also makes me feel bad that Kirsten is often left out. 

I love Lea, and I love having her here, but every once in a while I wonder .... did we jump into this too fast? If it was just Lea, no dog, no Kirsten, I feel like things would be fine - we could just deal with the Dominance issue, but it’s not and I need to find a way to deal with everything all at once.

*Slight side note - Im annoyed that Sissy stays up all night and then naps all day. I again feel like this is something Daddy needs to address as her Dom, but I get tired of being the one to have to point these things out.

Think I got enough off my mind to have a nap before I have to go to my doctors appointment - another thing that annoys me - why am I always the one that has to sleep on the couch? I was looking forward to having the bed to myself for a bit after Daddy left for work but she came in right away and I was frustrated so I ended up just getting up - took care of my cats and her dog because of course she went to bed late so shes sleeping through his whining. I think this family really needs to figure out a routine.

LITTLE DETAIL! The way that Nine is talking to Rose in the opening while the TARDIS is in flight sounds very...insisting. Like FUTURE WAS BUST, LETS GO TO THE PAST NOW SINCE I PROMISED YOU A TIME MACHINE. Almost like he's kicking himself for where he took her first, so now they need to go somewhere better. I never noticed that!

And the fact that he chose Christmas as the time to bring her. Something safe and nice. He was really trying. 🥺

okay heres a really long post about my onions on scarlet (and violet but ive only played scarlet so far). i will NOT be spoiling any of the story or pokemon that havent been revealed in official media, HOWEVER! i will be talking about certain mechanics in the game in more detail, most specifically how you physically move about in the world (ie the upgrades you get for your mount). while im going to try not to compare scarvi to other games in every single aspect, its not feasible to leave it in the vacuum considering What It Is (a mainline series game from one of the highest-grossing franchises in the world). developer crunch aside, this is what they gave us, so thats what im talking about. SO!! preface done. lets get into this, breaking it up by section with each getting an overall Section Score, and then a final Overall Game Score. points i like begin with ++ and points i dont begin with -- to try and make it easier. THIS IS LONG AND CONTAINS SALT (some deserved, some personal).

THE POKEMON THEMSELVES

section score: 8/10 i like a lot of them! its just the ones i Dont like, i...Really Dont Like

++wooper’s new evo is the singular best pokemon of all time ++the names this gen are top-tier ++most of the designs are really cool! --there are some who have interesting ideas behind their base design/abilities but it really doesn’t feel like it fits with the mon itself and wouldve been better off as a separate entity/pokemon (there is a sea-based creature and a coin critter who bring this to mind most keenly) --while its nice theyre supposedly all to-scale, many are way too small to be seen on the switch screen. conversely i guess i understand why people are always tripping over bug-types in forests

YOUR LEGENDARY RIDE BUDDY

section score: 5/10 their personality is the absolute saving grace here, the novelty of riding them is fun, though a lot of the mechanics fall flat for me but are still required to explore the world

++having the box legendary with you from the tutorial is a cool idea i didnt know i wanted before! ++this lizard is so personality. god bless --the camera cannot keep up when you dash for long distances --i dont hate the fact that there is only a single pokemon you ride on since that cuts down on total animations needed, its just sad we cant use anyone else --i also dont hate that your movement abilities are locked behind one of the story lines, BUT there are hard-locked areas of the game you cannot get to without more progress, which stifles the whole “open world, do whatever you want whenever you want” feel --you unlock gliding late, and after roughly ten seconds of gliding, you begin falling rapidly to the ground. whats the point of this? also no free flight is always depressing, if understandable at a technical level --climbing walls is your last upgrade. the small hop you do at the top of the cliff to make it to the flat ground is often TOO small and you may fall. and if there is a pokemon at the edge where you’re about to be, you will bounce off it and be sent likely back down to the bottom of the cliff. not to mention if the wall is not completely vertical, you might lose your climbing grip and begin to slide down anyway --they take up so much of your screen you often cant see whats in your path and will run over or into obstacles like smaller pokemon or npcs

THE ANIMATIONS, GRAPHICS, AND VISUALS

section score: 5/10 the pokemon textures and chara designs alone save this part from being rated a 3/10

++the pokemon themselves look AMAZING, they have visible scales/fur/metallic sheen and are generally a delight to see walking about ++the npcs and characters are all really cool and i enjoyed meeting them ++pokemon have several different animations you can see with the picnic feature ++pokemon having sleeping animations in the picnic and when idle too long with lets go mode is adorable ++pokemon roaring/crying after they defeat an opponent in battle and are waiting for the next to come out is a nice touch --the environment textures look like 144p stock photos --the landscapes themselves look like a middle schooler’s first blender project, they arent natural and they arent pretty --there feels like there isnt a cohesive stylistic choice, like in legends arceus or breath of the wild, where they have a consistent vibe for the whole game --pokemon dont stand correctly on slopes, ie one of their feet will be clipped into the ground and the other will be floating --most of the move animations are pretty to look at, but we still have “slide forward and jiggle around a bit in your t-pose” and thats IF its a physical contact move. arceus’s dynamic battle movements are completely forsaken here --the idle animations in battle have a lot of dead space between them so we’re back to just two of them t-posing at each other --pokemon dont even close their eyes when theyre asleep. they have a whole animation for it outside of battle, and inside of battle there isnt any sleepy signs. they dont Freezeframe when frozen either. --koraidon specifically does a really cute animation when you’re just sitting on his back BUT. his neck wheel clips into his throat horribly and i just cant unsee it --the pokedex has a cute aesthetic but you cant SEARCH it and trying to read the sideways names is unsatisfying --the CONSTANT jumpcuts/fadeins both in the open world and in cutscenes looks Awful. give the editor a break, you dont need ten small movies to do the job of one

THE UI ELEMENTS AND CONTROLS

section score: 3/10 for every step forward there seems to be several dozen going back

++taking a selfie for your trainer card is nice ++the map has a pleasing aesthetic overall --the map does not show cave layers --while you can lock the large map from rotating, you cant lock the minimap from spinning which disorients me to no end. also the main map doesnt keep your zoom level saved when you close and open it --trainer card is removed from the x menu and instead locked behind opening the large map and then a smaller menu, which is pointless --you cant take a photo of yourself for the profile Icon. why? --the pokemon menu icons do not have special shiny variants, and also they clip horribly within the party screen. all of my pokemon are beheaded and/or have no feet --in the pc why is multiselect bound to the - key and not something way more accessible. why make Y ONLY swap and not toggle between modes like sword and shield had? --in the pc you cant pick up a pokemon and go to the ‘all boxes’ screen and drop them in a new box. you have to manually scroll through all your boxes --in the pc you cant hit Up on your first party member to end up tabbed over the Last Slot --health bars in battle. where do i start. its awful and i hate it? if you have a status effect or take damage from an ability, the bar will display for a moment while the damage animation goes off, and then DISAPPEAR WHEN THE TEXT BOX TELLING YOU THE DAMAGE WENT OFF SHOWS UP. its stressful when you/your opponent is at low hp and you dont know HOW much until the turn resolves entirely. in worst case scenarios (ie tera raids), you may only get a few frames. just display the health bars all the time, along with the pokemons level.

THE NEW FEATURES

section score: 5/10 if these features worked as im sure they were intended or had a few tweaks, they would be 10/10. but they Dont, and its super sad that the bad vastly outweighs the good

++finding rare items on the ground (nature mints, vitamins) is really nice ++being able to BUY nature mints is amazing ++picnicing is fun and handy when you dont want to make a long trek to/from a center ++terastralizing is fun to both do and plan around ++the raids are an improvement over sword and shield ++coop is kind of pointless but still really fun to Exist in the same space as your friends! so it stays as a positive ++accessing your pc boxes from anywhere is a godsend! ++nicknaming pokemon anywhere is nice! ++being able to relearn any past known move at any time is amazing! ++shiny pokemon are seen in the overworld! ++the lets go feature is a fun concept --HOWEVER the lets go feature is implemented Terribly. the mon doesnt stray far from you and immediately returns to the ball if you do get too far. you often send them forward and they dont target what you want them to, or they defeat one pokemon and then give up. 90% of pokemon are also TOO SLOW to keep up with you, which means you cant even reliably have a buddy walking with you for fun. it also makes evolving certain pokemon a hellish nightmare of forcing yourself to walk slowly so they dont get stuck --shiny pokemon DO NOT SPARKLE OR MAKE A SOUND in the overworld. they will ONLY alert you to their shininess when you enter a battle. the only way to identify a pokemon is with the lets go feature (your mons will not attack a shiny) BUT. with all the problems the lets go feature has i just listed, the only other recourse for people who dont use it is to squint at their screen. what do you do with a shiny who flees if you dont notice it in time before getting too close? you lose. good day sir. i will not be giving the game a pass on this at ALL because of the many visually impaired players being shafted on all fronts --speaking of shiny pokemon, shiny dittos and shiny zoruas can be disguised as Normal Pokemon and you wont know until you engage them and they de-transform. and again, the only way to know for sure before you manually battle is the lets go feature. so thats just dumb --we did not need crouching and sneaking in this game if there isnt any out-of-battle catches or need to hide period --the tera raids being timed really doesnt feel good when you need to watch SO many animations and none of them are shortened or skippable. the boss tera’s, sometimes you have to tera, and while the throwing-ball at the end was clearly made with love...its long, and ive seen it a lot now --the difficulty spike from 4* raids to 5* raids (i havent done a 6*) was pretty insane without building an endgame pokemon specifically to take them on. also the fact that i cant invite my friends first and then open it up to strangers means you’re likely stuck with dumb npcs padding out your team --sandwich making is kinda clunky and the fact that the buffs are separated by type feels super arbitrary and just to pad out the system of “wow look at all these ingredients!!”

THE STORY AND WORLD

section score: 9/10 its a pokemon game so some cliche is expected, but this has been my favorite one since black and white. the only thing really dragging it down is that the world is not as open as it seems

++all three paths have solid foundations and i enjoyed experiencing them! ++all of the important npcs felt like real characters who had their own motivations and quirks ++i actually learned stuff in class and got to flunk my math midterm three times because i cant fucking read just like in real life! +7 points --the world is not as open as it wants to be. areas are hard-locked behind certain mount abilities (swimming, climbing) but you can. sort of get up cliffs by jumping backwards which is fucking hilarious --the OVERworld doesnt necessarily need to scale with player progression (its normal to have low level starter areas and high level endgame areas) BUT! the BOSSES should. i was reasonably leveled for my first few fights but then took on a boss 10+ levels higher than my team, which was a fun struggle! BUT. after that. i was ENOURMOUSLY over leveled for the REST OF THE GAME, and none of the fights were interesting or fun --the terastralizing gimmick was only used in an interesting way a handful of times (one earlier-level gym leader surprised me but that was about it) and could’ve had a lot more potential if the types weren’t so predictable. a fight you have after beating the league had me cautious of something that wouldve been amazing to see but never happened --almost none of the npc pokemon had held items...? or if they did, they didnt make a valuable contribution to the fight, which made most of them feel easy to steamroll --i also found very few useful held items in the wild, which isnt the biggest deal since you can buy them, but it was always nice to pick up something and be like oh hey yea i can use this! without specifically going to the store. maybe ive explored the wrong areas tho idk --there are too many shops. have a clothing store in each city, yes, but do not put every piece of your outfit into a different store. no fucking store sells ONLY socks and NOTHING ELSE. same goes for the sandwich shops --there are too many buildings. you dont even go inside any of them, not even the fashion shops, so why have a loading screen just to pop up a menu? have an npc outside show you a ‘catalogue’ and pick from there --there isnt a way to mark npcs you want to revisit on your map, ex the friendship checker or that one guy you trade pokemon parts to so you can get amarouge or ceruledge. i have to look them up every time --the pokemon dropping materials is nice and adds immersion that each line drops a specific item, but it just adds to unnecessary bag bloat. ive made maybe seven tms in my 80 hours of playtime and havent sold any materials because i dont want to scroll through them all

and the kicker... THE PERFORMANCE

section score: 1/10 this is abysmal. it makes me physically ill.

++the coop bugs are kind of funny thats the only reason this has a Single Point and isnt a 0 --the lag. THE LAG BRO. everything lags. the game, every menu, the pokedex, starting a battle, EVERYTHING --it cant keep a steady 30fps at the best of times --the frame drops and slowdowns are frequent, distracting, and honestly nauseating at times. i can only play in handheld mode --the camera clips through EVERYTHING how did this get through playtesting --my game has crashed three times. once while i was walking away from a pokecenter, a second when trying to connect to a friends world, and the third while eating a sandwich. this is the only switch game in my recent memory to have ever crashed completely --the memory leak when the game runs for more than a few hours. --people are FALLING THROUGH THE FLOOR. --the world fucking deloads itself sometimes when i throw a pokeball. yea that video of the psyduck by the bridge is real, its happened to me several times

so now.......here we are at the end of things. first, heres stuff i would fix to make it a perfect 10/10 mainline pokemon game

add shiny sound/sparkle back

make health bars display 100% of the time in battle

move the profile/trainer card and pokedex options back to the main menu

let players lock the minimap rotation

bosses have proper level scaling

make the names in the pokedex not sideways

tweaks to the movement of your ride mon

animation upgrades, both in the overworld and for cutscenes

minor adjustments to the animation timings in tera raids, making shorter versions of them to combat the timer anxiety

complete overhaul of the lets go feature

performance upgrades. god let this game cook for another year at least

and i think thats everything. this game is clearly unfinished and the product of the ruthless development cycle, and ultimately it was way too ambitious for the time and manpower they had. its extremely sad that theres such promise under all of the glaringly unpolished features. if this game had at least some of the fixes i specified above, i would feel confident rating this as my favorite pokemon game since black and white or legends arceus

however. as of right now, with the game the way it is, this is my final score
