How about a game of snapdragon? 🔥🔥🔥

In this daring Regency game, nuts and raisins would be soaked in brandy and set alight. Players would test their courage by snatching a still-burning treat from the bright blue flames and popping it in their mouth.

It sounds a lot more dangerous than it is. The secret is in the blue flame-- brandy, being approximately 50% alcohol-- does not burn as hot. A regular, yellow flame would create twice the heat! Plus, the nuts and raisins cool quickly.

Liam & Daniel have played this before with their families. Adrian & Zach, however, are a little dubious.

Eagerly awaiting the posting of the new Dandies episode so I drew my predictions for how it'll go

(This is mostly a joke, as I don't actually know how bath houses worked in the Regency Era, but the thought of Adrian having a gay panic and Zachary fully clothed in the tub amused me. Also gave me an excuse to practice drawing more muscular men because Big Strong Dorito Liam.)

Decided to have a little fun to relax from holiday dinner prep and cleaning by drawing the Dandies lads, but with a twist! I drew the LADZ how I imagined them looking BEFORE I saw any official art of them, based entirely on just listening to the first few episodes of season 1! As a bit of a bonus, I also decided to add some headcanons I have for the bois, if one can headcanon DnD characters?? Idk

Liam Bardsley

- very active as a child

- broke his nose falling out of a tree

- pitbull energy: big, sweet, and protective

- if not for Regency Era Formality he would pick up his friends

Daniel Pritchard

- charismatic and energetic but rather introverted

- this man is a greyhound, he is fast and playful but anxious

- has a strong sense of justice

- also rather protective of those he cares about

Adrian Edwards

- filters are for chumps

- unapologetically honest

- cat friend, but like a fancy cat, like the kind that will only eat One Specific Kind of wet food

- similarly to Liam I feel like he'd be the kind of friend who climbs on his favourite people aka Liam

Zachary Wilkoss

- I heard 'owlish fellow' and just assumed he had glasses and was Round, and also a book nerd

- also a cat friend, hence why he and Adrian butt heads alot, though Zachary is more of a 'feral cat you fed long enough it will approach you' kinda guy

- always panicking, even when he's calm it's just because he's panicking so hard he's ascended momentarily from his physical form

- a lot more reactionary than his friends, the most likely to be down for murder

Daniel Pritchard finds the life of a marine to be anything but /mari/.

Daniel, along with the other LADZ, have been whisked away onto the HMS Halbred just days before its mysterious tragedy in which the ship's entire crew disappeared!

How this happened... no one knows. The LADZ must find a way out, or share the same fate as her crew!!
