Dinovember 2022 day 18- Iguanodon

ok I know I still haven’t done days 16 and 17 but I really wanted to do this one because I’ve been wanting to make an image like this for ages and this has finally given me the actual motivation to do it. Iguanodon has a natural thumbs-up; this image was bound to be made by someone at some point.

(and it’s transparent, so iguanodon can go ahead an approve anything you stick it on!)

Dinovember day 6: Brachiosaurus!

Not very happy with this one so I didn’t finish it. It’s just a little sketch of my oc, Lavender. She’s trans, mtf. There’s actually a reason, and that’s because she was an adopt that was intended to be male by the seller, but I completely forgot and made her a girl. When I remembered, the seller said it was fine, just a bit strange for a female to have a big dewlap and be brightly colored, and I said hey, what if they’re trans? So yeah. Trans brachiosaurus. She’s one of my favorite ocs to be honest. I’m still friends with her seller too!

I haven’t given her an updated reference, or drawn her in a while. Suddenly I realize why… sauropods suck to draw! Lol

I had no idea that dinovember was a thing but now I feel obligated to participate so here's an eoraptor!

Kind of a funny looking little thing, even in professional restorations. I love it.

I probably won't keep up with dinovember very well so I'm going to set some rules to try and keep it easy and challenge myself:

1. Do it all on one layer (not counting the initial sketch)

2. Only use this one sketchy pencil brush I found recently and have grown rather fond of

3. Only use black and shades of grey

4. I can use the undo button, but not the eraser

Also a less strict rule 4 which is to try not to chicken scratch. Clearly already failed with this little guy, but oh well

I'm hoping that by setting limitations for myself, I'll find it easier to keep up with the prompts. We'll see if that works or not!
