i'm scared i just made an appointment for the optician to try contact lenses but in order to do that i need to check my eyesight first and the last time i did was a bit over a year ago if it changed enough i need new glasses i'll probably cry
#idt it changed a LOT bc i can see perfectly well with my glasses but i fear my right eye has worsened slightly and its fucking me up#i hate that my dioptrics arent the same like w/o glasses i can feel my left eye is much stronger so the other feels numb in comparison#and i get a headache from the difference#i dont see double so thats one thing at least but im really scared it could happen bc eyesight isnt stagnant#i dont mind if both eyes get worse over time but please make it both eyes at the same time not only my right eye#thats why im gonna try contact lenses again i tried once like maybe 5 years ago but couldnt get them in even with the opticians help#i got prescribed eye drops by my eye doc and even those i can barely get in they get everywhere around my eye but inside#but i really need it to work i like my glasses and dont care much for wearing them but i only got them at 18#in my mind im still thinking wearing them is optional even though i feel like bashing my head against the wall and throwing up if i dont

FAR FROM GRACE
(part 11)
THE ALLIES
Eventually, Sam and Charlie took turns sleeping on the couch. This Den was probably one of the hackers' safe havens, as no one seemed to be trying to kick them out.
Charlie sat back down at her laptop and went looking for any information that would be useful for the eventual war with the BMoL, which was already seriously… not so much about coming as already here with a massive BOOOM.
Sam lay down on the couch, which was even so long that his legs didn't hang over the edge when he really stretched out.
He knew in advance that he wouldn't sleep very well because of the furious planning going on in his head. And worries about his brother - those were the worst.
"You look like a lost puppy," Charlie stated as she glanced back at him briefly.
It was a statement that probably didn't require a response, so Sam just grunted softly and closed his eyes.
When he opened them again, it was already morning. There was a stack of printed papers on the table next to the laptop. Charlie looked like an owl forced to be awake during the day. Beside her sat a large mug of either coffee or cocoa and a plate of waffles with maple syrup. Another, identical plate was standing next to it, obviously waiting for Sam.
He had to give up his daily routine of going for a run and then taking a shower. Instead, he settled his body on the chair at the table and peered at the papers.
"Thanks… well, for everything," he muttered, narrowing his eyes. "Is that the stuff about BMoL?"
“Yeah. Everything that could be found out. For those projects, I guess you copied it, I didn't print it."
"You're the best," Sam smiled as he started to breakfast.
"I know," Charlie smiled and started eating too. “Um, hi uen heup,” she mumbled after a moment, wiped her mouth with a napkin, swallowed, and then repeated it more clearly: “I can help. With that... Thing. And otherwise."
But Sam shook his head. This was already risky. If they found out about Charlie, it wouldn't end well.
"I just need you to be IT support," he declared. “Even that is… A lot. I can handle some things, but you're just a shark.”
"I like that," Charlie nodded. Shooting at someone, in real life, she probably wouldn't be mentally prepared for that anyway, and she suspected that blood would flow here and corpses would pile up. "Alright, anytime feel free to contact me if needed."
Sam nodded and thanks her one more time. Breakfast with Charlie was fine, Charlie herself was fine, but a lot of things were bothering him now.
BMoL were everywhere. Maybe not here, in Charlie's Den, but like an octopus grasping for its prey, they reached out with their tentacles into government and security forces, they had their people in airports and among the Hunters, there was so many ways to hide from them.
On the one hand he admired them, they were doing a seriously perfect job of taking out the monsters, but on the other hand... Were they exaggerating?
They definitely crossed the line by imprisoning and enslaving people in that facility.
All in all, this was supposed to be another war of independence.
He knew there were plenty of Hunters who would join him, but right now he had something else planned. If he gathered a group of Hunters, they might be the best, but they would still only be humans. And this was big.
He said goodbye to Charlie, leaving her some money despite her protests, not for help, but for bed, drinks and breakfast.
When he got out, he was a little confused for the first few seconds, automatically looking for the Impala before his senses caught up and told him that he now had a jeep.
He found the cap again, this time he decided to grow a beard and maybe get some glasses, not dioptric, of course, so Dean could laugh. He hoped Dean would laugh.
His stomach clenched at the thought of his brother, he couldn't imagine how Dean… Well, they had a case in prison once, and Dean fit in pretty well, but this was a different case.
If there was one thing the BMoL weren't known for, it was kindness and a nice attitude.
It was a stupid idea for Dean to go there in the first place, but in the end at least he revealed that the whole Cobalt Valley project stinks.
Sam now had to decide which was the greater evil. Actually, it wasn't that difficult, thanks to BMoL's interventions, neither demons nor angels posed any significant problem for a long time. Lucifer was rotting in the Cage with Michael and it was going to stay that way, and whoever was in command of Heaven and Hell now certainly wasn't up to any big action. Taking BMoL out of the equation might change this, but there were deals. And a properly concluded agreement could not be violated by either party.
Therefore, his path now led to one of the last safe havens that he knew the BMoL had no idea about.
A cabin in the woods, no electricity, hidden by a bit of magic, just enough so it wouldn't show up on radar.
He stopped the jeep at the edge of the forest, away from the road. He hid it behind a thick bush to be safe so it wouldn't be so noticeable.
He then walked to the cabin, carrying everything he needed in his bag. It chilled him a little about his own plan, but it basically worked out as the only option for him to get Dean out of this, even on paper, terrifying prison.
If Dean were here now, he probably wouldn't have lost a chance for the Prison Break references, he would have advised Sam to get a cleverly hidden escape plan tattooed on his body, but... Dean wasn't here.
On the way, Sam wondered if he would be trying so hard if it was just about angels and demons. Or at least only about angels, who can be really dicks too, but still…
He shook his head, nearly tripping over a jutting root. He concentrated only on the road for a while, quite a while, practically before he reached the cabin.
Then he was not going to delay anything, he just started a fire in the stove. The temperature didn't drop below freezing, but he wasn't going to shiver here anyway.
It was enough what he wanted to do, it could actually end up being the hunting equivalent of the Chernobyl accident.
First he decided to summon the lesser evil. Angel. Whatever, he didn't have a precise focus on a name, and he just hoped that even without a fire trap, the heavenly representative wouldn't burn him to the ground. He wouldn't be too surprised. Since the start of the collar event, he and Dean have caught and turned in maybe eight or nine angels.
He prepared the appropriate symbols, prepared a bowl of ingredients which he lit, and with a carefully calm face he waited until the wood seemed to burn brighter in the stove and the angel appeared.
He wasn't particularly tiny, his vessel, but at least a head smaller against Sam. He had an expression on his face that seemed incredibly sarcastic even before he said anything. Brown hair, stubble on his face.
Fortunately, contrary to Sam's bad expectation, he didn't attack right away, he just scanned him from head to toe and smirked.
“Sam Winchester. Where is your ring of fire, where is your Man of Letters, and above all, where is your brother?” he asked before Sam could say anything.
Sam wanted to say he wasn't the enemy, but he was painfully aware that that was exactly what Castiel had tried to convince them of before they handed him over to the BMoL.
"That's the point," he said quietly. “I have no intention of catching you, I am no longer working with BMoL. On the contrary, I want to free… Well, our brothers.”
"That is the thing, you played with fire and burned yourself?" the angel asked, looking quite interested. He walked over to a shabby chair and sat down. “I'm Balthazar, by the way. And don't you dare to call me Balty," he threatened Sam with a finger, then rested his chin. "I'm listening."
"I have to call someone else first," Sam said thoughtfully. “Sorry. I don't want to say it all twice.”
The united forces of Heaven, Hell and the Internet.
Balthazar folded his arms across his chest, looking displeased but probably thinking something like “The enemy of my enemy…”
He must have already deduced something from that sentence about brothers. Maybe not all, but enough to make him wait patiently now.
Sam performed all the necessary actions to summon the demon. With neither the demon nor the angel, Sam had no idea if they were valid representatives of either side, but he hoped someone would show up who would at least have a say.
And a guy in a suit appeared, with black hair and a beard. Sam recognized him almost immediately because the BMoL had him listed as untouchable - the current ruler of Hell, Crowley.
The demon looked around, frowning. He had already dealt with BMoL and the Winchesters, at least enough to give the brothers mocking nicknames.
"Where's your Squirrel, Moose?" demon asked in a slightly strained voice. “You two are like conjoined twins. And what is the winged numbskull doing here?”
"He must be looking at an pretty ugly demon," Balthazar snapped and Sam held up both hands, he seriously didn't need a Heaven and Hell war to break out here.
"We have to work together," he blurted out, gesturing to a couch as shabby as everything in this cabin for Crowley to sit down.
“All… well, we're all stand against BMoL now. Dean ended up in that prison of theirs, and long story short… We didn't know about it.”
He looked at the angel and at the demon, who then sat down with a hostile expression.
"You thought BMoL was sending angels and demons to the Bahamas to relax?!" Crowley growled. "With those fancy collars around their necks to better enjoy Sex on the Beach?"
"We didn't know what was going on," Sam repeated once more as if it was a valid apology. “And now I know, the BMoLs are after me as they are after you and we need… Uhm. We need to team up.”
“Like heaven is supposed to cooperate with demons?” Making sure he understood, Balthazar gave Crowley a disgusted look.
"Exactly," Sam nodded and the demon chuckled disdainfully, but he wasn't gone yet and neither was the angel. That was quite an succes.
“The facility is so hidden that even all the angels put together cannot find it. Neither do I,” Balthazar grumbled, looking a little uncomfortable to be talking about this incompetence in front of Crowley. But Crowley spoke up too: “Same with us. What exactly is this about, Moose? Huh?”
"The thing is, I have the exact location of the…Prison," Sam drew out with a trump card. “And I don't want it to end with us just freeing… Well, prisoners. I want BMoL to end here. They do… They are responsible for more bad than good.”
Balthazar straightened and began to clap slowly, ironically.
"Sam Slow-understanding Winchester," Crowley grunted, but he seemed interested despite the remark. “Well, we free the supernatural Alcatraz, so what? Will the American colonies fight another war for independence? And Heaven and Hell will fight on the side of the brilliant and unique Winchester brothers?”
Sam swallowed hard and tried to hold back a shrug. He just hoped that both angels and demons would go for it—at least for freeing the prisoners from Cobalt Valley.
The BMoL had its colonies all over the world, well yes it looked like another British colony, but Sam would be fine if he managed to get them out of America to begin with. From the US - that would be enough. Of course, that would mean giving up technological progress and all, besides, he had them to thank for getting him out of the Hell's Cage, but he maintained that they were a far greater evil than a return to the old ways.
It wasn't just the Cobalt Valley project, he only had to look at other secret projects and it made him sick. Because BMoL wasn't so much trying to rid the world of monsters as finding a way to use them.
And finally Sam nodded.
"Exactly."
Balthazar leaned back in his chair, there was still no sound of wings beating in the air, and he stayed, which gave Sam hope.
Crowley didn't disappear either.
Sam laid out the papers and his notebook with the details on the table.
"I have enough information, and I can get more," he said. "Now I want to plan with you exactly how we're going to do it, and I want to solidify it with a cooperation agreement."
Balthazar got up but still didn't disappear, he just moved to the table and looked at the papers.
"It's crazy," he stated, looking at Sam inquisitively. "I like it."
"Damn it," Crowley grunted, shaking his head but then joining in as well. “It's bloody crazy, and I don't like it, but… I suppose I have some demons to spare. Hell is in.”

RJ's Platinum Collection #34: Life is Strange
Achieved on 7/22/2023 at 12:11 AM
I first played Life is Strange back when it came out on PC, and then I played it again back on my old PS4. You'd think playing a game twice would be enough?
Nope! I decided to once again play Life is Strange on my PS5, but this time I was gonna get the Platinum trophy. That's how much I love the story of Life is Strange!
And guess what? I got this Platinum all in one day.
Life is Strange puts you in the shoes of Max Caulfield, a student at a fancy boarding school who aspires to be a famous photographer. One day, Max witnesses her childhood friend Chloe being murdered, and discovers she has the power to rewind time, which she uses to go back and save Chloe. Max and Chloe end up using Max's powers to investigate the mystery behind the disappearance of Chloe's friend Rachel - and the origins of a mysterious apocalyptic storm that Max has visions of devastating the town of Arcadia Bay.
Ok, so I'm not even gonna pretend that this Platinum isn't insanely easy. All you got to do is make sure to find all 10 optional opportunities for Max to take pictures of stuff in each of the game's five episodes. I just used the trophy guide on PSN Profiles, snapping up all the optional photographs as they came along, while also enjoying the story, which I ended up playing through in its entirety in less than a whole day. I started at about 11:30 in the morning, and by the time I finished the game and unlocked the Platinum trophy, it was eleven minutes past midnight that same night.

If you're going for the Life is Strange Platinum, it's one of the easiest Platinums you can do. There are no major story-based trophies, so you can play the game however you want. All you gotta do is make sure to pick up all the optional photographs.
I love Life is Strange. It's dialogue is super dated, and it's not perfect, but I still think it has one of the best stories in video games.
Rating: 9/10

Does fish need his glasses to see or anything or are they just decorative?
the glasses Are dioptric, but only cuz the kids bought him those cuz they didn't know better. they saw big round golden glasses and thought the shape would drive in the point of him being a mega nerd well and the color would match good with his fins/antennas. didn't know what dioptric meant at all
so he's just fine without them!
though when he does wear them he has to adjust his cameras so he Can actually see through them. so taking them off Is gon make him squint @ things still. so decorative intention but still affecting his puppet
he Is disabled a lil though, but mentally. i'mma talk about it here cuz i think it's a fun piece of worldbuildin on itties- that revelation did actually physically fuck him up. he has an iterator version of epilepsy
epilepsy, as explained to me by wikipedia, is abnormal, excessive and unprovoked electrical discharge in neurons. for iterators this doesnt necessarily mean seizure but it does mean that they go completely blank and freeze up and forget things. since electricity can get wild in them i also imagine that a lot of neuron flies can get crippled or damaged beyond their ability to normally function. so his internal facilities have to compensate for that and create more neurons. he's tired sometimes and thinking gets hard. which is shitty since he does like to think about things
he also has vocal ticks that are rooted in the epilepsy damage (feels the need to validate himself and affirm what he is talking/thinking about aloud)
(excuse mua, it be old old ass art.....)
when he has someone there to talk with the vocal ticks are less common. so Tinktink is a lil bit of a therapy animal in that aspect i guess gjlsdmclksdlk in the off string post-MA au he still buzzes and dings, but since he's rarely without Someone annoying him, it becomes more part of his way to communicate things. nobody really finds That weird, though getting buzzed out of nowhere Has offended some people quite a few times
#spot says stuff#rw#oc tag#the epilepsy thing is why Boreas calls him lunatic. yeah beebee aint above pullin out the names when he gets into his angry fits

Laser Operation For Eyes Cost In Mumbai
Lasers
Lasers are used in a throng of conditions for the retina. Retinal photocoagulation is the mechanism of action for a retinal laser treatment. In this marvel, light energy is converted to heat at the level of the retina, leading to protein denaturation during the retina laser surgery.
Indications
LASIK indicates the correction of low, moderate, and high myopia with and without astigmatism. The specific dioptric limits depend on the particular laser system and the regulatory agency of each country.
Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy: PDR is an advanced stage of diabetic eye disease. It occurs when the retina starts developing new blood vessels within itself. This is also called neovascularization.
Diabetic Macular Edema: DME is the accumulation of extra fluid in the extracellular space within the retina in the macular area, generally in the subretinal space, inner nuclear, Henle's fiber layer, and outer plexiform.
Vascular Occlusion: A vascular occlusion occurs when blood can no longer pass through a blood vessel.
Central Serous Chorioretinopathy: Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is a retina disease characterized by serous detachment of the neurosensory retina secondary to one or more focal lesions of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE).
Retinal Breaks: detachment is an emergency. Tissue at the rear end or the back of the eye pulls away from a layer of blood vessels that provide necessary nourishment and oxygen. It may happen in the retinal periphery. The retina is sometimes torn away by the vitreous gel because of pulling.
Mechanism of Action
Retinal disease is primarily treated using a retina laser. The light energy is absorbed by particular tissue at the back of the eye and transformed to heat with this laser. The heat causes a tiny area of damage to the retina. As the eye heals from this small area of damage, the scar helps to correct the underlying retinal disease. Retina laser is used to seal retinal tears, close leaking blood vessels, or break down abnormal tissue or blood vessels.
Direct action on the vessels
Closure and reduced leakage
Scarring + Burns of the layers of the retina
Reduced oxygen demanded
Increased oxygenation of the inner retina
Photocoagulation
Retinal cell activation
Cytokine production
Reduction of vascular growth factor + Edema
Types of Lasers
Green (Argon) laser
Yellow laser:Sealing the leaky blood vessels
Photodynamic laser:Using a drug (Visudyne) + Red laser. This is used to seal abnormal and leaking retinal vessels.
Yag Laser:This type of laser is used to create a opening of the membrane that is frequently formed on the implanted intraocular lens.

I. Các loại mắt kính lão phổ biến

The diorama was a 19th century light-based medium that featured two immense paintings lit from the front and through the back inside an otherwise pitch-black, rotating auditorium. The diorama combined techniques of opaque and translucent painting with methods of manipulating natural light in a live spectacle.
The diorama was invented by the set designer and painter Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre (together with the architectural painter Charles Marie Bouton) seventeen years before he perfected the daguerreotype process of photography. The daguerreotype would, in the words of Daguerre, "fix the objects reflected in a camera obscura" (Daguerre 78). In contrast to the photographic impulse, the effectiveness of the dioramic image depended on the constant, visible movement of light manipulated with shutters and screens both onto and through a semi-translucent painting. The in-formation of light was thus performed and experienced in real-time, rather than captured and stored for future purpose. Similarly, the spectator expected the illusion "to represent the effects of nature" (Daguerre 84), not to secure "the objective ground of visual truth" (Crary 14) via camera obscura.
Realism and illusion: the right and wrong sides of the screen
The patent for the first diorama built in London in 1823 describes the device as “an improved Mode of publicly exhibiting Pictures or Painted Scenery of every Description and of distributing or directing the Day Light upon or through them, so as to produce many beautiful Effects of Light and Shade.” As this account indicates, the dioramic picture was both a transparent conduit and an opaque screen, with the effects of light and shade directed both upon and though its substance.
The diorama thus operated according to both catoptric and dioptric principles. As Daguerre describes, “the first effect painted on the right or front of the canvas is lighted by reflection…while the second effect—that painted on the wrong side—receives its light by refraction, that is, from behind only” (Daguerre 83). The right side, facing the spectator, is the realm of the "illusionizing potential of projection, the production of artificial reality" (Zielinski 86). The wrong side belongs to the operator and/or the painter, who performs the catoptric illusion by seeing through it.
The dioramic screen with worker behind and spectators in front, 1848.
On a semiotic level, the "wrong" or dioptric side of the painting was opaque to those who did not possess the knowledge of “dioramic art” (Daguerre 85). Painters schooled in the dioramic technique inscribed the back of the painting with functional nonsense, a language of light and shadow that, in a complete reversal of the painting’s façade, corresponded not the referent of the natural world, but to the forms showing through from the front of the canvas. This secondary inscription would be illegible to the spectator accustomed to representational images. In order to create a heightened illusion of reality, this mode of painting thus broke out of the camera obscura model that relied on a founding referent (Crary 14).
Though, like the mechanically reproduced image, the verso of the dioramic painting was abstracted from a stable, objective referent, the double-sided screen nevertheless divides the complex knowledge of the practitioner of realist illusion from its witness, the spectator. In contrast to the photograph, which, as Walter Benjamin described a century later in his celebration of film, freed the image of the cathedral to “meet the beholder halfway” (Benjamin 220), the image of the cathedral reproduced in the diorama is wrapped not only in the lux of spectacular illusion, but in the aura of an original work authored by a virtuosic artist-scientist.

This beautiful instrument was called Dragonfly for a reason. The Dragonfly which, in some species, has vision reaching nearly 360 degrees with 30 visual opsins (humans only have three!) can see depth and color in ways unimaginable to the human brain. Naming it this way evokes an important sense of imagination. The ability to imagine life from a new perspective is the backbone of artistic creation.

Lasik Eye Surgery In Delhi

Lasik Eye Surgery In Delhi
Smile Laser Eye Surgery Relex SMILE
The most advanced third generation laser eye surgery for removal of glasses.
What is SMILE
SMILE stands for "Small Incision Lenticule Extraction" shuchi technologically is the most advanced technique developed in the past ten years. That is because it is -
1. Least invasive 2. One step 3. All laser 4. No blade 5. No flaps
The Procedure
SMILE is the latest advancement in laser vision correction. It is the THIRD GENERATION of refractive procedures. The first two are PRK, followed by LASIK. BAJAJ EYE CARE CENTRE is proud to be the first laser vision correction centre in North and East Delhi to offer the ZEISS VISUMAX femto second laser for SMILE vision correction. SMILE is an all laser, latest cutting edge technology for the correction of myopia and myopic astigmatism. It provides LASIK or even better outcomes in a lease invasive manner. SMILE uses only one type of laser that is femtosecond laser in single step procedure and hence is minimally invasive. During the SMILE procedure, the computer guided laser light energy cuts out a small corneal tissue called ‘Lenticule‘. This Lenticule is equivalent to the dioptric power of the refractive error of the patient. This Lenticule is removed through a small 2mm incision made by the femtosecond laser. This results in reshaping of the cornea and the vision gets corrected.
Precision of SMILE Procedure
The human cornea acts as a refractive surface, possessing al out two- thirds of the total refractive power of the eye. The light rays pass through the cornea, get refracted and then passing through the lens and internal structures of the eye, reach the retina to form an image. The refractive power of the cornea (and hence of the eye ) can be changed by reshaping the corneal curvature / shape of the cornea. This is done by reshaping the stroma ( middle layer ) of the cornea. The SMILE laser removes a thin layer of the stromal tissue ( in microns), created by it, called Lenticule, which is then removed through a small 2-3 mm incision by the experienced surgeon. The tissue removed creates an effect to reshape the corneal curvature equivalent to the spectacle number ( dioptric power ) of the glasses worn by the patient, making this procedure very precise. This all is done by the laser in a matter of seconds, in a painless manner.
Comfortable, Quick And Easy Procedure
The actual laser procedure to make the Lenticule hardly takes about 30-35 seconds. Patients do not experience any discomfort during the procedure and are able to see quickly without glasses within 24 hours of the surgery.
Benefits of SMILE
Minimally Invasive
SMILE is perhaps the least invasive technique possible in laser vision correction for the removal of glasses in comparison to PRK or LASIK Laser . In PRK , an 8-9 mm diameter epithelial layer of the cornea is removed mechanically and then the EXCIMER laser is used to reshape the cornea. In LASIK Laser, the procedure consists of two steps -
1. Making a flap - the flap is approximately 20 mm or more in circumference 2. Excite laser is used to reshape the cornea under the flap and the flap is settled back on the corneal surface. Whereas in SMILE, only a 2-3 mm keyhole is made in the cornea by the VISUMAX femtosecond laser, thereby reducing the damage/cutting of corneal nerves. This results in less dry eye and more stable corneas post operatively.
Flapless Technique
LASIK technique whether using blades ( microkeratome ) or bladeless ( femtolasik ), involves making a flap of the corneal tissue. Rarely complications can occur due to this flap called flap related complications either intra- operatively or post - operatively, though the chances are quite remote in good surgical hands. Since there is no flap created in SMILE procedure, there is no question of flap related complications, either during the procedure or after it.
Lesser Dry Eyes
Post - operative dry eyes is a relatively common side effect of LASIK / Contoura vision procedures . Because SMILE involves making of only. 2-3 mm laser incision versus 20mm incision in LASIK/ Contoura vision lasik procedures, there is potentially a minimal chance of dry eye post SMILE surgery.
Safety, Accuracy And Faster Visual Rehabilitation
Studies worldwide have found SMILE to be as safe and accurate as LASIK, besides the added advantage of quick visual recovery and faster rehabilitation, especially for people in contact sports, swimmers, police personnel etc. It only takes about a couple of days to experience amazing results.
SMILE Versus Lasik
SMILE - advantages of SMILE over LASIK SMILE is a flapless procedure. Since there is no flap created in SMILE, thus there are no flap related complications versus possible flap related complications in LASIK. There is better biomechanical stability of the cornea. Studies worldwide have shown SMILE to be a better biomechanically stable procedure versus LASIK, thus making it a much safer procedure compared to LASIK. As already mentioned, since SMILE involves making of only a 2- 3 mm laser incision, versus 20-24 mm circumferential incision in LASIK, lesser corneal nerves are cut/ severed, resulting in lesser dry eye symptoms versus LASIK.

8. Always wear a lab coat
9. Always wear eye protection - protective glasses or dioptric are also fine
10. Before you take/use anything that it not yours, ask the owner for permission (so annoying if people do not do this!!!)
11. Do not wear open shoes like flip flops, or sandals
12. LABEL EVERYTHING
13. Do not plan any big experiment for Friday afternoon when you're just too tired (this one I learned the hard way)
Here is a list of rules I have learned working in a lab and being in lab classes over the years. Most of them I or someone around me learned the hard way.
LAB RULES
1. Change your gloves
2. Do not eat any samples. Even if they are food.
3. LABEL! EVERYTHING!
4. Do not leave any liquids precariously over the edge of a counter
5. The heat glove cannot touch things that are 550 Celsius
6. Add acid to water, never water to acid
7. Always have a spare pair of jeans
