please add silly straws to the story

Rest assured that silly straws have long been on my list of Important Bill Cipher Character Traits that must be included.

But just because you asked, I've added a straw to the paragraph I happened to be working on when I saw this ask.

Glue was being a butt so i used hot glue, im considering this Mini Mina a practice run and will make her properly when i can get more purple fleece. Felt just sucks to work with unfortunately, but it was all i had. Might even get some ribbon and make her white bow with real ribbon.

AWWWWW LOOK AT HERRRR 💜💜💜💜💜💜 And ough, I've been there. I used to try and make plushies out of felt when I was younger, and it was...Not Great.

Not sure if that has been asked fully, but Bex, are your thoughts still private? Can Bill tune into them if he wants, or is your mind off limits?

Bex: Hmmmm...technically yes, but I've got a policy of anyone in my head can tune in. So, if I wanted to block out Bill (and Caida) I could. But I just don't.

So basically I could be thinking about writing a novel or what I'm drawing, and Bill will be commenting the whole time. Like "Oh, that's a funny idea, do that" or I'll get the impression that he's just rolling an eye after I had an idea.

I decided when I bonded him that he's got free reign to hear my thoughts, explore memories, and hangout wherever as long as he's not doing anything harmful.

i see people gifting you plushies. Well, did you know i have actually made plushies before? And i have quite a few; even used to own a bendy plushie that i had made, but i dont know what happened to it. It's not as good as some peoples creations, but still decent. *hands bendy a homemade bendy plushie* i hope you like it.

however, my Foster Ford stuff is not on there quite yet. I do this thing where I bounce around a lot in posting ficlets for my AUs on here. I don't have everything for the early part of the AU written up, despite later parts of the AU being written. bc of that, I haven't cross-listed on AO3.

due to the popularity of this AU, however, I will be cross-listing on AO3 once I've got the appropriate stuff written.

for now, you'll just have to put up with my tendency to jump around in AUs while writing them, lol.

Oh, he'll be very well behaved! He's not there under duress; he's the one who asked to go to the dentist.

On the other hand, he keeps forgetting that when the dentist tells him to open wide, he doesn't need to hold his eyes open the whole time too. He keeps trying to not blink until the dentist tells him he can close his mouth.

And he keeps forgetting that when he has fingers in his mouth, he can't talk, because humans use their mouths for that.

So I take back what I just said, maybe he does accidentally bite the dentist while trying to talk.

i know this is a dumb questions but it got me thinking, How did Bill feel after unlocking all his locked away emotions? Was it overwhelming? are there any senses that Bill experiences in bex's body that he doesn't have that he finds weird? Like maybe sneezing? Can bill sneeze?

I HAD emotions I just didn't care! but to answer your question, some of them SUCKED. Especially the guilt. I BILL FREAKING CIPHER felt GUILT?! Plus an overwhelming sense of failure for the first few years. It's why I can't really look at Weirdmageddon the same way.

Yet through all of that, I still had one big victory in my life: finding Bex. That sustained me. Feeling love was new to me....and scary. I both hated and loved it.

As far as senses go, I HATE being cold. When winter comes around I prefer to nap more so I don't feel it.

Sneezing? I can sneeze in my original form too. so that's not an issue. What gets me is WHY ARE EYES AND NOSES SEPARATE IN HUMANS? And don't get me started on the whole extra finger--that was something to get used to!

usually if ur skin is purple and swollen theres a broken bone. i hope ur able to get it fixed

yeah that was why they x-rayed it seven years ago when I hurt it twice, and both times resulted in severe bruising and swelling and other signs of a broken ankle. the specific kind of fracture I have, with the tiny bits of bone being loose, is more difficult to spot, which is why they didn't see it back then.

I'm back at PT for the sprained ankle I got a couple weeks ago, so that part is being fixed. or at least, as fixed as it will be, given that I have hypermobility and also permanent damage to the ankle at this point.

that really is unfortunate. Will you need to get it repaired after it’s healed from the sprain? Or is it just something that will continue and you now know why troubles you?

I'm not sure if my doctor will want to do anything about the loose bits of bone. I went to urgent care, after all, and haven't spoken with my doctor since I got the results of the x-ray. I think that for this kind of fracture, this many years on, the only thing that could be done is surgery. but it might be a case where the upsides don't quite outweigh the downsides, and they decide to forgo surgery.

I get the feeling my doctor will at the very least want to refer me to ortho and go from there. I'll ask her at my annual physical in a couple months. I mean, even if I wanted to, I might not be able to schedule an appointment before then. doctors are so booked up lately.

I love to complain on here, tho, so don't worry, y'all will be able to hear any ankle updates when I talk to my doctor.

UGH. I’m glad they found it now, but UGH.

...yeah. it's been a rough couple weeks, tbh. the person at urgent care told me what the treatment would be for that sort of fracture, and then said they do the same sort of treatment (a boot, crutches, referral to ortho, PT) for severe sprains.

and seven years ago, my doctor then thought it was a severe sprain bc they didn't see the fracture on the x-rays they took. but I didn't...get that treatment. I didn't get a referral to ortho (which I should have, after I sprained it like four or five months after spraining it the first time) and I didn't get a referral to physical therapy (which I ABSOLUTELY should have had, given how fucked up my ankle had gotten).

and my doctor back then was GREAT. she was thorough and did her due diligence for my gallbladder and heart arrhythmia. I genuinely don't know why she dropped the ball for my ankle. but because, for whatever reason, I didn't get the treatment I should have gotten, my ankle is permanently damaged.

that's something I've been spending the last couple weeks coming to terms with. (and something that I spent most of my therapy session today talking about; not PT, talk therapy.)

ANYWAYS on a lighter note, my physical therapist thinks that the bone pieces aren't from an avulsion fracture (when a ligament tears away a piece of bone) like I assumed. going off how I originally hurt my ankle and the location of the "loose bodies", she thinks that when I inverted my ankle (rolled it under me), it was done with so much force that the bones in my ankle smashed into each other hard enough to break off small bits.

and I think that's kinda metal.
