Mha fic ideas #24
This post by @chandralia reminded me of this idea I'd come up with forever ago.
-
Bakugou and Midoriya get hit with an amnesia quirk. They get along surprisingly well, which shocks their classmates. The class tries to keep their past tension and angst a secret, but of course it gets out...
And do you know what happens?
They don't care.
They see themselves fighting against each other with so much pain and "hate" in their eyes and think: 'Wow. What a bunch of dramatic bitches.' They do not care. If anything, they're both amazed by how badass they look fighting together and try to recreate some of the moves they see.
Izuku, idly flipping through one of his journals to try to get his memories back, stops on one page and snorts. "Damn, Bakugou. You were kind of a dick in middle school."
Bakugou shrugs, "Who isn't?"
"No no, look at this entry. It's even got my tears on it."
Izuku turns the journal toward him, pointing at a specific paragraph. Bakugou's eyes widen as he gently takes the book from him.
"Wow." He says.
"I know right?"
"Is that why i called you Deku in the video? It's meant to be a shitty nickname? Wild."
"Is it weird I kind of like it? It's got a nice ring to it."
They basically just spend the entire time clowning their old selves and having fun with each other without the weight of their past to stop them from being best friends. Maybe even closer...
The class is VERY concerned.
Uraraka: "Uhm. I'm glad you two are getting along... But why are you holding hands?"
Izuku: "We're trying to create irrefutable evidence of our compatibility so our memory-selves can get their shit together and confront their feelings when the quirk wears off."
Bakugou, snickering and pulling out his phone: "Smile, Izuku. I'm putting you as his phone background."

Ditto Fic Ideas #27
(Bkdk 🧡💚)
"What? Not up for the challenge, Deku?"
Izuku frowned, "That's not-"
"Then put your money where your mouth is." Bakugou flashed a smirk, holding up a measly 2000¥ bill in his hands. "The rules are simple: First one to fall in love loses the game."
Easier said than done, when both participants are under the influence of a mutual-emotional-attachment quirk.
"You're on."
-
The main idea is that these two idiots get hit with a love quirk and, to spare themselves a scolding from Aizawa and prevent them from missing a class trip to one of Japan's largest hero exhibits, decide to keep it a secret.
Between codependency, secret handholding breaks, and an insane amount of across-the-room eye contact, they begin to wonder if their pride is truly worth pretending to care more about the 2000¥ than the (not so) new bubbling feelings...
Shamelessly inspired by this meme:

Mha fic ideas #25
‘Perfectly Imperfect’
The universe made a mistake when it created Midoriya Izuku.
Not for the whole quirkless thing, though that had it’s own issues, but because of his face. It was too cute. Too innocent. Too trustworthy…
No matter what he did or what he said, nobody could see him as anything but pure and good. If he cursed it was like the adults hadn’t heard him or they'd think it was another child, like Kacchan. If he stole something, they never asked him to return it. If he pushed a kid into the river, everyone assumed they'd fallen.
And if he threatened to divulge the number 1 hero’s biggest secret to the media?
He got a gentle pat on the head and a fond chuckle.
At first, he thought it must be his quirk. A quirk that involuntarily waived all of his bad deeds to anyone who may witness them. A quick trip to the specialist and he was permanently labeled with the status of ‘quirkless’ and no other way of explaining why he was like this.
He, simply, could do no wrong; and that irritated the hell out of him. He’s lost track of how many villain bases he’s walked into with the intention of being recruited only to end up being gushed and ‘aw’d at until he left.
The only good thing that had come of this ability was Allmights immediate trust. After a few months of training, the man offered him his quirk:
One for All.
Izuku was ecstatic. He could finally test how far his innocent face could take him when he had the ability to level towns and ruin lives with one well placed punch.
Only… He passed out as soon as he’d swallowed the hair and woke up in a strange place with three crumbling walls, surrounded by darkness, and eight (seven and a half?) people standing in front of him.
They didn't look at him like he was perfect.
They looked angry.
And Izuku couldn’t be happier.

Mha fic idea #31
(Bkdk 🧡💚 of course)
Midoriya gets into a bit of a quirk accident, reverting back to his middle school years both in mind and body. He's a bit flustered over the attention and kindness of his future classmates (in their second year, apparently) and a familiar face appears.
Kacchan eventually drags him away from their classmates to explain the situation of his scarred face, briefly reviewing the war they'd faced, the situation of being quirkless to quirked with Allmights legendary power, and also that... Well, uh... Kacchan and Izuku are kind of in a relationship.
Kacchan tries to explain it. How they've come so far in such a short amount of time, how he's not the same person he was in middle school, and how important Izuku is to him. It sounds an awful lot like Kacchan is trying to convince Izuku of something.
"Kacchan, out of everything you've said, us being together is the only one that makes sense to me."
Passing the UA entrance exam with three broken limbs is ridiculous by comparison.
This surprises Kacchan. After everything they'd been through together, the war and heartache, it made sense then that they'd be together- but why would it make sense to a Deku that never had those experiences? Those pivotal moments of understanding??
Izuku says that it was obviously because he "Followed The Plan™."
What is The Plan™?
A process Izuku had documented and crafted since grade school, of how to fully and thoroughly win Kacchan's heart through sheer determination and persistence.
He even had a Plan B for if he didn't get into UA with Kacchan or vice versa. Izuku starts into it, explaining moments that never made sense to Katsuki until put behind Izuku's logic, and sure enough the way they'd actually started dating was eerily similar to this Izuku's prediction.
Some things must have changed over time, obviously Deku didn't even know he was getting a quirk, but apparently he was always going to have Kacchan.

Mha fic idea #18(?)
'Ignoring the Problem (Child) '
Izuku gets hit with a quirk that basically makes everyone ignore him for the day. People are vaguely 'aware' of his existence, especially when he kicks up a fuss, but it's only as an after thought.
Instead of this story going angsty, though, things go a bit differently as Izuku just decides to do whatever the hell he wants that day without any consequences.
He sits on Aizawa's desk during lecture, steals a bite of Iida's fancy lunch (it always looked so good but he's been too chicken to ask), uses his quirk in the halls, whispers wrong answers to his friends during class, kisses Kacchan on the cheek during a hero exercise (bc why the hell not?), and accidentally breaks his finger (which he has to half-doctor up by himself since recovery girl is paying him no mind).
Then, as a final act of rebellion, he walks into the League of Villians hide out, steals their plans, and leaves without more than a few half hearted pleasantries exchanged.
That night he goes to bed completely drained but full of childish glee of pranking people and having fun with his quirks; Something he never got the chance to indulge in growing up quirkless.
Unfortunately for him, the quirk that made him ignorable for a day doesn't just wear off. It dumps the memories of Izuku's actions on literally everyone he'd interacted with that day.
The next morning Izuku wakes up to half the class trying to break down his door for an explanation.

Mha fic idea #30✨
(woohoo! 🎉)
Implied Bkdk 🧡💚
'The Kacchan Treatment™'
Midoriya is hit with a quirk that messes with his perception of reality- It mixes up the identities of the people in the room.
He doesn't realize this at first, as he'd taken down a villian before class and he was already late, until he walks in the room and see's Todoroki at the front of the classroom calling roll and Aizawa sitting in the first row of desks.
Izuku panics, thinking he might have not apprehended the right person, but a quick call to the police station confirms the villains identity and they find out more about the quirk.
It mixes people, but it never stays the same. One moment he could be talking to Aizawa and the next he would be talking to Uraraka, all while ACTUALLY standing in front of Tokoyami; all of which would go unnoticed by his own eyes.
Izuku now knows he'll only be like this for 24hrs, but he's not too worried. He just knows he has to be careful with his words and be aware of himself...
What follows is what the class will refer to as 'The Kacchan Experience'.
Unable to tell one classmate from another, Izuku will often let people come to him rather than seek them out. Except Kacchan.
It's like he can't help himself, he's drawn to Bakugou even if it's not really him. Scolding him for being brash or rude, complimenting him or sending him smiles, and even going on a teqnique rants post-training exercise; These are the kinds of things his classmates are seeing for the first time. They're all close to each other, but being seen by Midoriya through this 'Kacchan Lense' changes so MUCH.
It's strange to see, given how awkward it is when one of his friends goes to him and he has to clarify who he's speaking to but its like he just forgets the quirk the moment Kacchan is involved- Even if it's clear it's not ACTUALLY Kacchan.
I think it'd be pretty funny watching all these people bask in Izuku's praise in Kacchan's stead, while Bakugou quietly seethes at being COMPLETELY unrecognizable.

Mha fic idea (/drabble) #33
(Established bkdk🧡💚 with shenanigans)
The fic starts as all good established bkdk fics do:
With Bakugou screaming at an unbothered Todoroki.
Izuku wants to stop them, truly he does, but their fight- if it could be called that- is over a recipe that Shouto refuses to share.
"It's not mine to share," Shouto explains calmly for the hundredth time that evening, "Fuyumi found the recipe card, left by my mother's great grandmother. It's not meant to be given away easily."
"So only dead hags can eat fancy katsuobushi?! Give me a fucking break-"
"It's a family recipe, Bakugou." Shouto says, "You're not family."
Izuku's not sure why Kacchan is do adamant about getting his hands on the recipe. He wasn't there when the two had last visited the Todoroki residence. Just as Izuku thinks it's time he should intervene, Kacchan pulls the ultimate uno reverse card:
"Like hell I'm not-" He says, "Go get the prenup papers, I'll marry any one of your dumbass siblings."
Ignoring the.... everything wrong with that statement, Izuku is concerned- Since he and Kacchan are currently dating.
"Oh, really?" Shouto challenges, giving Izuku hope of reminding his boyfriend to his prior commitments, "How are you going to manage that? Natsuo and Fuyumi are already dating other people, I doubt they'd settle for you."
"I don't give a fuck, I'll marry you if I have to."
Izuku tries, "Um? Kacchan??"
"And who says I'd accept?"
"Please, you'd be lucky to have me- I'd make a wonderful husband!"
And their argument just kind of devolves from there. Kacchan pointing out all of the good qualities he has and slowly convincing Todoroki of his worthiness in the role. (Great cook, prefers a clean home, can hold him bridle-style with ease, amazing quirk, etc.)
All while Izuku quietly, or not so quietly, mourns all of the beautiful missed opportunities he's describing.
("Don't get in my way, Deku. I'd sell my mother to the LOV for this dish.")
By the end, Izuku is melting into a depressed puddle while Shouto at least seems interested in the idea...
"You do seem like good husband material..."
Izuku starts to panic, trying to decide between being happy for his two best friends vs shocked that they're both really going to go through with this before Kacchan even properly breaks up with him.
Then Todoroki turns to Izuku, a firm nod and a "He has my blessing."
And then he walks away.
Izuku flusters, realizing this was the plan all along.
Bakugou yells at Todoroki, calling him a coward for still not relinquishing the recipe.
Todoroki waves away the concern, telling him he'll give them the recipe as a wedding gift.
Izuku might die of embarrassment (or happiness) but he's mostly relieved that it's all over now.
Until Kacchan grabs his hands, and very seriously suggests that they leave right now to elope.
It's just a funny cute little fic idea.

Mha fic idea #32
(Izuku centric!)
'No FAFSA for the undead'
Izuku applies for UA- and he would've gotten in too- but uh… he's legally dead due to his quirk.
His quirk: Ghost.
This isn't the first time this sort of thing happened- it had taken many phone calls to the school board to get into his local middle school and even then it was hard prove he'd ever actually *attended.*
It was a condition of his quirk that most "proof" of his existence just… disappeared. It didn't help that he could never turn in a physical test or write his name without assistance; His hand would just phase through. But what he lacked in physicality, he made up for in agregerous note-taking in transparent books of his own creation.
Point being, he (seemingly) doesn't exist and he doesn't get into UA on that principle alone.
Izuku decides the best way to get the education he wants is to start "haunting" the school and, eventually, the dorms.
Bakugou knows Izuku and of his quirk and thinks it's a pretty funny idea so he just pretends not to notice the green glowing at midnight nor the chill that crawls down class 1A's spine when Izuku moves to get a closer look at the board.

Mha fic idea #34
Alright, another fic idea but this time.... Bkdk angst. 🧡💚
Amnesia Quirk!With a Twist!
You've been warned.
At the height of their prohero careers, Izuku is hit with an amnesia quirk. Only, he seems to have lost just the memories connected to his husband Bakugou Katsuki. It might be a bit awkward, but can still work and live his life for the month it'll take for the memories to come back.
And they do.
His first memory, it comes back the same day he'd been hit.
Their first date. An amusement park with crepes and smiles and holding hands-
And as the days pass, more and more memories replace the blank space in his mind. Of all of the good times they've had together. Memories of their wedding, their anniversaries, birthdays, fun times, winning a good battle, childhood memories that mysteriously cut off...
An apology.
It lacks context, but these memories make his heart sing. Izuku couldn't stop himself from forming a crush on the blonde even if he tried. These feelings are even further reinforced by the frequently retrieved memories. He spouts praises in a way that feels familiar and his heart blossoms with delight over how perfect they are together.
Izuku's constantly showing his affection and appreciation, but as the month continues Bakugou starts to act strangely. Bakugou is careful to disengage from the warm hugs and flirty smiles, reminding Izuku that "things weren't always like this" and shying away from Izuku's approval that "He's not perfect, he's made mistakes."
This does not deter Izuku. He's head over heels for this man and every new memory he just sinks even deeper...
That is.
Until the good memories run out.
There's a little less than a week to go when one arrives. It's not too bad, maybe a bit confusing, but Izuku doesnt mind it.
But they keep coming. Pieces to some of the other memories that leave some of them a bit more bittersweet. Memories where Kacchan's harshness was less funny, more frustrating. And then scary.
Izuku is shattered. Their romance had seemed so wonderful and easy, almost like a dream, and he's losing it with every new memory gained. They feel tainted, nothing about them seems real; Like there's some kind of caveat to every whispered promise.
He's frustrated with himself, confused and upset and not understanding why these memories were hidden from him to save so much heartache til the end and it just keeps getting worse.
Kacchan had warned him, but he couldn't have known it would hurt so much.
There aren't any good memories left. Nothing to soothe this ache- the betrayl- and he can't help looking at their relationship differently the closer they get to the worst of their fights and arguments. Things that even Katsuki knows he can't explain...
Sidenote here:
I've noticed in amnesia!quirk fics that when it comes to the angsty memories between bkdk, like their middle school experience, there are usually still some good memories to soothe the amnesiac to remember and return to their partner.
This is probably since most of the memories are returned
A. Chronologically
B. Randomly, as plot dictates
C. All at once
These types of fics are great, don't get me wrong! I eat it up. Amnesia fics are great for angst fodder.
I'd just love to see if anyone else had this thought of the memories coming back based on progression of Good ones to Bad ones (to Worse ones). I like that there is no redemption from the quirk. It rearranges the perception of the person it affects in such an awful way.
Bkdk would seriously have their work cut out for them at the end of the month.

Mha fic idea #16
(bkdk 💚🧡)
In an AU where crime and violence is much more rampant than canon, the HPSC just passed a bill that would allow heroes to kill villians and vigilantes; Regardless of their crimes.
For one notorious crime boss supervillain, Izuku 'Deku' Midoriya, this spells nothing but trouble.
There are very few that could kill him, and even less that were willing, but this bill puts a very clear target on his back. Despite all the good he's done (extremely illegal, but still good) it won't matter to the heroes that come after him and only seek glory.
But the bill comes with an addendum.
In the fine print, it states:
'Villain spouses of Hero(es) will be granted sanctuary under the strict supervision of said Hero.'
In other words, Deku has to get married.
And he knows the perfect candidate to play the role of his husband.
"You don't want me to die... Right, Kacchan?"

(A short bkdk one)
It's white day and rumor has it that Izuku brought chocolates.
Katsuki wants to find out who they're going to, no matter the cost.
After a day of shenanigans, he decides to just breaks into Deku's locker. When Katsuki finally has them in his hands, he flips the tag over and see's his name.
For the first time since he was 6 years old, his quirk malfunctions from the pure shock of it all and he accidentally blows up the entire thing. He's panicking now and extremely flustered, he doesn't know what to do with himself.
"Uhhhh.... So is that a rejection or....?"
Katsuki hadn't realized Deku was standing behind him the entire time.

Ditto Fic Ideas #26
(TdBkDk 💙🧡💚)
'A Future of Our Own'
A few years into being proheroes, the three boys manage to save a woman from a powerful villain's grasp. It isn't until the foe is defeated, that she reveals the reason for her capture:
She can see into the future.
And she wants to offer them a peek, as thanks for her rescue.
They all refuse, some more reluctant than others, but she manages to pass on her contact information to each of them in case they change their mind or want insight on a stressful mission.
That night, Izuku can't stop thinking of it. He's never heard of a fortune-teller type of quirk, and he's too curious to know what his future will look like. He ends up calling her a few days later and sets up a time to meet. He'd only intended to ask her about her quirk, but is easily coaxed into sharing a vision.
And it's... Honestly a relief. Yes, there's some bad stuff (he's a hero, his life's not going to be easy) but he can handle it. And there's nothings nearly as extreme as the war they went through in highschool.
Though, something in the visions catch his eye...
He, Kacchan, and Shouto, together as a couple- er, throuple? Together. Dating. Married-
It's a bit unexpected, but it makes him very happy to know this is the direction they're headed in. He thanks the woman, excited for the certainty of tomorrow.
Todoroki and Bakugou pick up on his new relaxed attitude, and his subtle shift in attention to them, but neither of them say anything about it. They just accept it as 'Izuku being Izuku' and settling well into Prohero life.
They don't seem to mind the warm affection in his gaze, anyway.
It isn't until a few weeks later, that Shouto understands what happened. He was going on a big mission soon, planned in high detail with little to no room for error, when he remembered the woman's offer and asked for her services to make sure the mission went well.
It wouldn't go well, he found, but now he knew how to avoid the worst of the fallout and still complete his goal of capturing the villains.
Oh and he's going to end up with Bakugou and Midoriya. Neat.
He goes on his mission and heeds the visions warnings, before coming back relatively unscathed and on the receiving end of Bakugou's scolding (worrying) and Midoriya's fretting (crying).
After the excitement calms, and Bakugou is out of sight, Todoroki will casually mention his visit with the woman to Midoriya and Izuku will burst into tears (again). They'll talk about their seperate future's, before discussing the one the three of them craft together, and then a caveat cuts through their plans:
Bakugou still doesn't know about his future. About THEIR future.
They conspire against him.
The next few weeks, they start dropping the future-vision woman into mundane conversations without ever revealing they'd already visited her. They sift through the remnants of what they remember from the visions, trying to find when EXACTLY Bakugou would come to them after seeing his future, but they're unsuccessful. The anticipation is really starting to wear on them, but they wait.
Then Bakugou confesses his love to them, unexpectedly, and Izuku and Shouto can let go of the breath they've been holding for nearly three months.
Shouto: "Finally."
Izuku: "I'm so glad you visited (the woman)! What else did you see in your future?"
Katsuki: "My future...?"
Turns out, Bakugou never went to the fortune teller. He'd just decided to finally act on his blooming feelings after pining for two years.
Although mortified at being the last (and first?) to know about their future together, after Shouto and Izuku are forced into an explanation, he's a bit smug that he never needed a quirk to make his move for him.
Though, maybe he'll still cash in that future-vision offer later... When he wants to know which week has the clearest skies for his wedding day or something...

'Third-wheeling but somehow exponentially worse'.
(bkdk 🧡💚)
Todoroki has been third wheeling the budding romance (senseless pining) of bkdk since first year.
Little does everyone know, as pro heroes recently graduated from UA, these two are in an extremely serious secret relationship and share an apartment together.
In fact, they're SO committed, they can take in a stray dog during a thunderstorm and keep it as a pet! To love and cherish with all of their gross domesticity.
The problem?
It's not a stray.
It's not even a dog.
It's Shouto Todoroki affected by a quirk and now privy to all of Bkdk's real relationship without any way of telling Uraraka that he's finally won their 3-year long bet.

Mha fic idea/drabble #23
(Short idea)
The class are all proheroes now. Saving lives, climbing the ranks, all the good things they deserve finally coming to fruition after so much had happened; But it was allll behind them now.
Or, well, it was supposed to be.
Iida covered his face with his hands, crouched low to the floor. “Todoroki, your father is seriously the worst.”
“I’ve been saying that for 25 years.”
“He can’t do this, right?” Midoriya muttered, pacing around the other two in an empty office of the class’ hero agency. “I know he’s retired- But isn’t this against the law? He signed an NDC, didn’t he?”
“Of course not.” Todoroki scoffed, “He was the number two hero- Why wouldn’t they trust he’d be able to keep his big mouth shut?!”
Iida groans, curling further in on himself, “What is my brother going to think-?”
“Forget your brother! That’s how we ended up in this mess, what is the media going to think?!”
“We could lose our jobs.”
“Oh god-”
Bakugou suddenly walked into the room, snickering, “Didn’t know your piece of shit dad had a sense of humor, Icyhot.” He said, scrolling on his phone, “Have you seen his latest tweets? About you three taking down Stain The Hero Killer when you were- What, sixteen? Fucking hilarious-”
Bakugou looked up and finally noticed the three men sweating in their hero costumes with wide panicking eyes.
“...Oh fuck-”

For a prank, because of a quirk accident, a lost bet, WHATEVER-
Bakugou and Midoriya have to wear heels for a day.
Katsuki takes to it immeaditly, having an incredible sense of balance from learning to fight in open air at a young age. He looks graceful while walking and going about his life like the footwear change is natural. He could probably run in them if he tried.
Izuku, on the other hand, is struggling.
He stumbles and trips. His grip on the wall and handrails are his only lifeline and he uses his friends to navigate the perilous school sidewalks and grass fields on campus.
Looking at Bakugou, Izuku feels a bit dejected for how poorly he's doing in comparison. The dekusquad (Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Tsuyuu) all take him somewhere to eat off campus to cheer him up; While he's still forced to wear the heels.
A Villian attack happens, of course.
Cut to Katsuki, still at the dorms, absolutely losing his MIND watching Deku flawlessly kick ass in heels on live television.

Mha fic idea #10
Halfway through their second year, Aizawa gives the class an assignment:
To write their final goodbyes.
Hero work is dangerous, but without the proper paperwork their families could suffer from much more than loss if these things aren't prepared ahead of time.
Every hero student does this assignment.
Funeral arrangements. Power of attorney and beneficiaries. Last will and testament. Wishes regarding medical treatment; Donor options. Hero work insurance and personal debt. Etc.
Most importantly, to the assignment, is that they need to write at least one letter. They can write as many or as few as they want, to whomever, and they can always change it later if it needs to be updated.
They can write to reassure or comfort. Reveal secrets or submit a last confession. To spread wisdom or the last remnants of their love.
As long as they have something, something that might never feel complete, then that is what the school will file away until the students move to an official hero agency after graduation; then the letter will follow.
It's a sobering and morbid revelation for the young students, even more so when Aizawa invites two other pro heroes (Midnight and Present Mic) to the room and pulls out his own letter to read an excerpt of his final wishes.
They have the week to complete the letter portion of the assignment, though the rest of the day is spent dealing with the more official sides of things.
The classes have varying reactions.
Uraraka worries that if she's unable to establish a good connection with an agency right out of graduating, her parents wouldn't be able to pay for her funeral.
Iida, after his brothers fight with Stain and his own near death experience, struggles with the idea of not being able to tell his family he loves them one last time.
Tokoyami fears what will happen to dark shadow, as well as what dark shadow might do to those around him, if he is not alive to control him.
Hagakure has to come to terms with the idea that, in a large scale disaster, they may never recover her full body.
Todoroki's family have already made arrangements, following his older brother's (Touya's) death. He likes the idea of a personalized letter, but now he can't help but wonder what his father's letter would say...
Kirishima fears that he won't be of any use for anyone in his final moments, and that he'll pass on without making a difference or making anyone proud, he wants to be a hero to be a sword and shield for those who need it but what if he can't even do that, both in his role as a pro hero and in his final moments?
Midoriya spends the entire week writing and throwing away one hundred different letters to each and every person he knows; fearful that he might forget someone and be a unable to thank them. The pressure and guilt of his secrets weigh over him as well as the need to die with a clean break; so his mom, friends, mentor, teachers, etc., can move on without him... Even worse, he now has to consider the risk of giving the most powerful quirk in exsistence to a stranger if he doesn't want to die with it.
Bakugou will only write one letter, but it's hard. He doesn't know what to write, what he should write, or how to write it. He can't risk this last chance to being misinterpreted. And if he dies before making it to the top, would anyone even care to read it...?
(Thank you @mcfanely for your Kirishima input, it was v helpful 🙏)
And if y'all wanna put your own thoughts in the tags I'm all ears 👀👀👀
