I was chatting with a friend who has hearing aids about heard aid jewlery and they said "Omg that be so cool!" Would be?? Oh my friend,,, the rabbit holes I've gone down for the sake of writing!! I gotta find a proper diy guide but here- For those of you who might not have seen this wicked designs!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Have them look like earings with dangling charms that fit your outfit!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Althought I personally like the ones that highlight the aid! Letting them be accessories and making ppl look at them and acknowledge them is very Startrek to me (which I love)
Tumblr media
And who doesn't love elf ears???!!
Hope this inspires you. I am hunting down a diy tutorial on how to make it but given how expensive aids are I wouldn't feel comfy advocating for it quite yet until further research. Until then tho, start brainstorming and sketching ideas at least!

i still havent watched the finale episodes yet for personal reasons but having seen their emo looks being something of a scenester myself i am very confident brian murphy was an emo in the 90s/early 00s. like emily and zac are doing mid 00s emo which is basically a whole different movement, siobhan is doing scene (again, different thing entirely), lou is doing a caricature of emo (the diy shirt feels kinda like the kind of thing you see during tour hijinks but in actuality i think he was phoning it in), i do not know what ally is doing (its definitely hot topic but. i dont know what that is. elf ears?) and these are all choices you make when you have a surface level knowledge of emo. but murph. murph looks like someone who listened to jimmy eat world in 2001 and really fuckin hated infinity on high. all hes missing is a pair of rectangular glasses and maybe a red streak in his hair. my last piece of evidence is that he turned 14 in 1999. which isnt a strong one but it is interesting.

Syvanii drabble: Hand kiss and sleep kiss
800 words
Oc kiss week
Skyrim based, Altmer OC x dragon OC
———————
“I cannot believe you. Bastard. That was stupid. Even for you.”
The dragon simply ducked his head, his eyes closed and a remorseful smile on his face as the Altmer scolded him once more. Sybil didn’t look up from his task, continuing to bandage Devanii’s arm with narrowed green eyes and a sneering frown on his face. Their camp was quiet and out of the way, thank Anui-El. At worst, a pack of wolves would be a cause of concern, but nothing else.
The young high elf had witnessed many things in his life and travels through Skyrim and the Summerset Isles. None had quite taken the sweetroll like Devanii distracting a giant so Sybil could retrieve an item they needed from a chest in its camp. The idiot could have just flown about in his draconic form. Or shot arrows from afar and confused the goliath.
But no. Something possessed Devanii to hoist his obsidian greataxe and charge the damn thing. Sybil could only watch in mute disbelief from his hiding place as the dragon’s mortal form was batted away in a spectacular manner, the giant quickly following to ensure the dragon’s defeat. While it was the giant who fell in the end, the dragon was left beyond battered and bruised, violet hair a mussed mess and tan skin yellowed and blued…
“Apologies, dii sil. I simply wished to ensure you wouldn’t be noticed.” The larger man rumbled, not sounding sorry at all.
Sybil snorted at that, his eyes flicking up as his ears pulled back and he harshly tugged the bandage closer, “Well, good job. I wasn’t noticed. But you did alert every wild beast and bandit within the mountain range we were there with that scream.”
“It was not a scream,” Devanii denied with visible wounded pride. Straightening up with a sniff as vibrant blue eyes trailed over their armor in the corner of their camp, the dragon finished, “It was a yell.”
“Mmh hm. Very shrill yell.” Sybil mocked as he finished bandaging Devanii’s arm. Sighing as he stood up, the high elf examined his battered dragon with well hidden concern. Tan skin was definitely welted and blackened...
Despite himself, Sybil reached down to rub a thumb under one of those blackened blue eyes, watching Devanii flinch with a discontented hiss as his pupils slitted. But they softened quickly after, the dragon smirking as he leaned into the Altmer’s hand, “At ease, Lokaal. I heal fast. I’ll live yet.”
Green eyes narrowed as Sybil resisted the urge to lightly smack the dragon upside the head, instead opting to pinch a stubbled cheek with a hissed, “You better. I don’t care if you’re ‘immortal’. Do something that reckless again, I’ll smack you across a clearing. Am I clear?”
Devanii huffed in amusement as he reached up to gently grab the high elf’s hand, smoothing it back to cradle his cheek, “Crystal, dii hil.”
Sybil would have been content with that. But the claws that gently grasped his hand held him in place as the dragon turned his head and lavished a lingering kiss to the Altmer’s leather gloved palm.
A shot of heat lit up Sybil’s face as his ears dropped, those vibrant blue eyes locked on his green ones with clear promise and a thousand unspoken things.
With a sharp inhale, Sybil muttered again, “Bastard…” … but eased his hand out of Devanii’s instead of tearing it away, nervously clearing his throat as he turned to tend to camp, “Rest. You’re of no use to me dead on your feet.”
The Altmer tried to ignore the chuckle that rumbled from behind him, busying himself with going through their inventory and written out ‘errands’. Good news, Sybil thought humorlessly as he marked one off, we got the scroll from the giant’s camp…
It was probably half an hour that passed before Sybil looked back to his draconic companion. The violet beast was curled up on his side close to the fire with a number of furs and cloaks gathered around him. Perhaps an attempt to nest…
Silently getting up, Sybil cautiously walked over to the dragon’s side, watching him with an almost soft look on his face as he crossed his arms. The high elf gently pulled one of the warm furs higher, covering a shoulder as the beast rumbled once and fell into a deeper sleep. When Devanii didn’t stir from his slumber, Sybil kneeled down to gently brush a violet lock of wild, fluffy hair away before gently pressing a kiss on the corner of his dragon’s mouth.
Sybil didn’t see the loving smile form on the dragon’s face as he moved away to his own bedroll, unaware of the dragon relaxing as a thumb gently moved to linger on where the kiss warmed his soul.

Christmas Party Themes Dress
Christmas parties are a great opportunity to have fun with your outfit and embrace the festive spirit. Here are some Christmas party outfit themes to consider:
1. Ugly Christmas Sweater Party:
Encourage guests to wear the most outrageous and festive ugly Christmas sweaters they can find. Look for sweaters with quirky patterns, oversized decorations, and bold colors. You can even host a contest for the "ugliest" sweater.
2. Holiday Pajama Party:
Invite guests to come in their coziest and most festive holiday-themed pajamas. This theme is perfect for a casual and relaxed Christmas gathering. Think about onesies, matching sets, or even festive robes.
3. Winter Wonderland White Party:
Make the dress code all about winter whites. Guests can wear all-white outfits, resembling a snowy winter wonderland. Add a touch of sparkle with silver or gold accessories to enhance the festive vibe.
4. Christmas Character Costume Party:
Encourage guests to dress up as their favorite Christmas characters, whether it's Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, elves, reindeer, snowmen, or even characters from classic holiday movies.
5. Tacky Christmas Accessories Party:
Instead of focusing on full outfits, ask guests to wear normal attire but accessorize with tacky and festive Christmas accessories. This could include Santa hats, elf ears, jingle bell necklaces, and Christmas-themed headbands.
6. Christmas Colors Party:
Assign a specific color or combination of colors for the party. For example, guests could wear outfits in red and green, or you can choose a metallic theme with gold and silver dominating the attire.
7. Christmas Movie Marathon:
Have a party centered around watching Christmas movies. Guests can dress up as characters from their favorite holiday films, whether it's Buddy the Elf, the Grinch, or characters from "Home Alone."
8. Vintage Christmas Party:
Encourage guests to channel the style of a particular era, like the 1950s or 1980s, for a vintage Christmas party. Think retro dresses, classic suits, and hairstyles from the chosen era.
9. Christmas Glam:
Make the party a glamorous affair by encouraging guests to dress in their most sophisticated and stylish holiday attire. Think cocktail dresses, sharp suits, and upscale accessories.
10. DIY Ornament Party:
Have a crafty Christmas by asking guests to create their own festive accessories or ugly Christmas sweaters using craft supplies like ornaments, tinsel, and glitter.
No matter which theme you choose, the most important thing is to have fun and celebrate the holiday season with friends and loved ones.

Fr., 2.2.2024, 21:00 Uhr: MINT MIND (HH) + KNUD VOSS (HH) Komet Musik Bar, Hamburg
Tumblr media
MINT MIND
"Heavy music for nerdy people", that's how someone once described the music of Mint Mind. "For" or "from"? Both, of course. After the first "VG+" songs, you get a feeling of what the world of Mint Mind looks like: instruments and amplifiers from several decades loosely piled and organized. In front of, next to and between are synthesizers and effects, some as big as microwave ovens. On the crooked record shelf are handfuls of comics, albums by New Order, Devo, the B52s, almost the entire SST catalog, as well as Krautrock classics by Can and Faust. "VG+", Mint Mind's third album, has become a great, cross-generational indie rock album. Mint Mind are sitting in the Upper Room Studio, a separate area of Rick McPhail's small industrial loft in Hamburg-Altona. This is where the new Mint Mind album VG+ was created. Rick, who grew up in Maine, USA, looks to his fellow musicians. They are a little younger than him. Christian Klindworth (Fluppe) is 40, Friedel Viegener is 22. Rick grins and says, "I'm a polite and cheerful person but I need moments to vent and that's what I do in my music. I usually get angry about the same things as young people. A lot of the things that suck today sucked in the 80s and it wasn't easier to fight them back then.” The album is about anger, optimism, a politician with little fingers or influencers who secretly lead a normal life. Some lyrics are funny, others serious: "Glow" is about love and appreciating good moments in difficult times. "Youth And I" deals with the question of why different generations with the same ideas on topics such as the environment, women's and LGBTQIA+ rights or even the economy do not manage to form a unity, but instead allow themselves to be disturbed by something as silly as age differences. The sound of Mint Mind combines sweet and sour, fuzzy riffs with the freedom and sentiment of 80’s post-punk/indie. Synthesizers have become a more central instrument this time. From playful and strange sounds to the eerie and dark, the album is littered with textures and ear candy to discover. The album title is well chosen. "VG+" is taken from the Goldmine Grading Standard for the evaluation of used vinyl records and means "Very Good +" - background noise can occur occasionally, but not always. Older folks might certainly feel reminded of Dinosaur Jr. or The Cure, the younger ones of Diiv, Wavves or Gurr. And for a moment, the world is Very Good + (with background noise) for everyone. Speaking of background noise: When Rick is not swinging his self-made Lego guitar at Mint Mind, he takes care of the technic, roadies and lead guitar in Tocotronic or spins records. In the Hamburger bar Mutter he plays Album/Adult Oriented Rock under the motto "AOR-Alles Klar?". He moderates the songs and with a telephone receiver converted to a microphone the guests can also make requests. As the morning dawns over Hamburg, Rick packs up his Billy Joel, Chicago and Steely Dan albums, grabs his skateboard and rides back to his studio with the rising sun at his back.
KNUD VOSS
