OK SO at first I really disliked the whole 4th Wall Shenanigans cuz I didn’t think it made sense with the previous Miitopia lore, but ACNH adding onto it and attempting to have it make sense (along with a certain theory/headcanon I’ll get into later) has definitely made me warm up to it a bit!! I’m less of an ACNH/LOS person than I am with Failtopia, but I’ve spent hours of my life thinking about how the multiverse stuff works before, so I’m at least semi-prepared to answer this! (although it still makes my head hurt a lot WHY IS IT SO UNNECESSARILY COMPLICATED-)

ANYWAY One of those things that made my head hurt is the Land of Forgotten Memories (and there’s a Remembered Memories?? what the hell?) cuz like. there’s no way every single character Dan forgets about ends up in The Void right?. But, Fun’s theory about the people there being those forgotten intentionally changed a lot of my view on it!!

I don’t really like the idea of C!Fail being a god with the other iterations of him being a vessel personally, but I can see where that theory’s coming from! I imagine it as just the same guy with the artstyle shift, maybe what Rapper!Failboat is referring to with the other iterations of him are stuff like Pixelboat?? I think it’s clear that the Miitopia, (Legacy) Minecraft, and ACNH versions C!Fail are all the same guy.

As for how Hank discovered the Land of Forgotten Memories? (cuz it’s clear that’s what happened) I’m gonna show this theory/idea from Gnome. Dr. SHOOK fits a lot of the criteria for being able to go into the Land of Forgotten Memories, and cuz of Science & Stuff I think that he and Hank discovered it together and caused S2 to happen. I generally think Miitopia’s an exception to the Forgotten Memories’ rules cuz then there wouldn’t really be any timeskip lore for the rest of the S1 cast (but I’ve already said the intentional forgetting theory makes a lot more sense to fix that up cuz no way in hell is Dan gonna intentionally try to forget S1 Party Members). It would make sense for Hank to be the thing causing him + the Mystery Curse to discover the Land, cuz it’s clear right from the start that Dan HATES the guy and did see him as “just an abandoned bit, a forgotten joke” before S2! Of course he would at least try to forget him!

I also imagine that Hank + The Mystery Curse did meet Rapper!Failboat and/or Failwhale and Hank’s revenge against C!Fail was like. sorta the test plan or Plan A, and when they both failed that’s when they came up with the stuff we see in Collision/Divergence… ok rare Rose ACNH Lore Headcanon session over, hope that made enough sense lmaoo

there is something so so important to me about the fact that throughout the games, mordecai is presented clearly as someone who cares deeply about the people around him. btw.

like obvs there's his birds, but it's the people that gets me. he's the only bl1 vh who remains close with his group throughout the games. when lil and brick were taken and in hiding, he was roland's right hand for years. after roland's death, he was there to comfort lilith and grieve him with her. hes the one that gives you the mission in bl2 to find the tapes of jack abusing angel, and he's fucking pissed about it. he takes an active role in raising tina, and from the dialogue in fight for sanctuary, it seems like he is the only thing by that point keeping lil and brick in contact with each other. he's also the one encouraging brick to branch out, to get him interests and hobbies outside of fighting as we see in fight for sanctuary (even if brick's gardening still involved violence, lol).

and while we don't get to see their dynamics really play out in the games, from the way moxxi talks about mordecai its very obvious that he loved her deeply even though they were only together for a short time and their relationship ended messily. nevermind the fact that in bl3 mordecai takes up training grace and raising her up to be a vault hunter, and her death hits him hard. we get an entire funeral mission for grace, a character we've never been introduced to, just for mordecai.

idk!!! it's just really interesting to me that as the character who is usually seen as the solitary sort of loner/scout, he actually has such deep connections to the people around him. such a guy

I’ve seen some people suggest the idea of TF One Starscream and Megatronus Prime having been a couple, and while I’m not entirely sure whether I ship it (the potential skystar here has a grip on me), I will say the sheer comedy of the situation makes me strongly consider it

Like I just love imagining Megatron’s reaction to this information being this

He is mortified and really doesn’t want to believe it’s true

But also in some seriousness, I do like the idea with how it relates to Megatron. I remember some months ago someone having a ficlet on here with this ship, where basically Starscream feels like he has to be responsible for and protect Megatron because he failed Megatronus, and because he sees Megatron sort of like a son they never had (or at least I think, it’s been a while since I read it and I don’t know how to find it again), and I like that idea. It’s interesting and also works with the concept that this Starscream is significantly older than Megatron
