I think Marik has a fine/normal level of competence with technology but Yami Bakura is better because his host is a highkey techie and he's absorbed all the knowledge. However Marik would assume that being a disembodied ancient spirit Yami Bakura has no idea how to use a computer or a cell phone and attempt to condescendingly explain such things to him as if he were a kindergartener. Yami Bakura therefore assumes Marik is an idiot who has no idea how to use a computer.

thinking about varric and hawke and "you people have done enough to her." and varric is right, of course — hawke has suffered at the hands of the chantry, particularly a mage hawke. but —

but hawke only loses their sibling in the deep roads because varric brought them, because varric made the mistake of trusting his brother. but hawke only becomes the kind of legend that aches because of him. varric wants to protect his friend, so he hides them away, doesn't invite them to the inquisition — until he does, of course.

and then hawke dies in the fade and it's not because of the chantry or cassandra. hawke dies in the fade because varric asked them to come.
