hey doll people i have a kinda serious question

how does one handle being scammed T T

i recently saw the 2015 drac for a really good price online, so i bought her. I was on vacation so i asked the seller to wait with shipping her until i returned.

So when i did tell them they could ship her out now, they said "oopsies my account was hacked i dont own that doll and i cant give u ur money back because the paypal adress isnt mine"

so obviously im not extremely upset... i lost a ton of money and mainly something i loved (doll collecting) got tainted for me

tldr: i got scammed online and now im feeling very upset and dont want to fall out of love with collecting - any tips?

(also please dont tell me im gullible and should have known better, because im AWARE)

After months of speculation since the reveal of a Rainbow High/Shadow High four pack in the Target system, the set has finally hit the shelves - And fans are disappointed!

In the collection (from left to right) we have Daria Roselyn, Emi Vanda, Natasha Zima, and Heather Grayson. The set in total retails at $121.99 as a Target exclusive. According to the Target website, the set will be available to purchase online on October 2, 2022.

The set seems like a steal, just in time for the holiday season. And that's the problem!

Unknowing parents will gravitate towards this set as holiday gifts for their little ones, without realizing how MGA is scamming them right under their nose. The fact of the matter is that all these dolls could be bought separately for much cheaper - and with a second outfit to boot!

As of this post, Daria Roselyn can be bought for $15.99 on Amazon.

Emi Vanda can be purchased for $18.99.

Natasha Zima can be purchased for $20.99.

And Heather Grayson can be purchased for $20.99.

Overall, before tax, this brings these dolls to a total of $76.96! That is a $44.03 difference! And again, purchasing these dolls separately also gives you a second pair of clothes and their matching accessories! So don't be fooled by these deceptive marketing tactics! Rainbow High/Shadow High dolls go on sell quite frequently. There is never a reason to spend more than $20 on these dolls that do not come with extra play line features like the Rainbow Vision dolls.
