Hello! This is Ace, 12 year old creator of this small indie game, i’m here to give a brief description on the game and what it’s about and the cast of 10 wonderful characters!

Alice’s Cakery is a small indie visual novel game, it contains mostly horror, some comedy, romance, kind of a touch of every subject to keep the player hooked! we also have voice actors. we are hiring artists and VAs, no experience required, contact me @pr3tty_b0y_ac3 on discord for more information on that or comment!

DISCLAIMER!! if any of these names are connected to real people or if any characters LOOK like real people, it is a coincidence, i have no connection to anybody with these names or looks.

Alice, Alice Wolf, is the character in the name of the game. Alice is a ‘animatronic’ who is sentient and in charge of the cakery, she has a barista named Amelia Fairbourne, and a cashier named Zoe Holloway. Amelia is Alice’s right-hand man, she would do absolutely anything to keep the cakery in business..ANYTHING. (keywords here: anything, sentient, animatronic)

The Cakery was apparently founded by twin sisters, Lyric Everly and Alice Everly, but atleast that’s what old newspapers say, i wonder if that has any relevance to the story?

we follow the story of Andy, a 47 year old veteran detective, and Charlie, the 24 year old newbie. they don’t get along very well, but that might change as the story goes on, you’ll have to see! (no keywords)

there’s 3 main ghosts, Lexi Anderson(9), Kenzi Booker(13), and Rose Clifton(11), 3 girls who died brutally at the hands of a unknown killer. they’ve all been dead for 5 years, truly a tragedy isn’t it? (keywords here: main ghosts, unknown killer)

in the basement, there’s two more characters! Lyric the ferret, another animatronic made similarly to Alice, and Dolly the snake, a small handmade doll who seems to be stuffed with something other than stuffing. Lyric is very beat up, inside and out, oil leaking everywhere, limbs missing, etc

i take very heavy inspiration from Five Nights At Freddy’s, Tattletail, and Dead Plate, Doki Doki Literature Club, and other games like those!

FOR DOLLY:

Betty Holland — there may be some issue with them both being Max ships, but if we ignore that I think they’d be really cute friends!

Jandro Torres — Jandro has a habit of unofficially adopting all the kids and teenagers, and I definitely believe he’d love Dolly and act as a very sweet father figure to her.

Mariah Wu — Mariah may not be very good at showing affection, but I’m sure she’d take one look at Dolly and be like “this kid is mine, I’m protecting her now” (and she’d definitely constantly refer to Dolly as the better Harrington just to make Steve look at her with exaggerated hurt feelings).

FOR PRIMROSE:

Greta Dwarf — Greta might judge Primrose a bit for dating Audrey at first, because she doesn’t like Audrey at all, but I do think they’d be pretty good friends, and Primrose would be one of the only people who could coax a genuine laugh out of Greta.

Sebastian White — I think Primrose might have been one of Sebastian’s only friends before the VKs come to Auradon, and they would have a ton of fun pulling harmless little pranks together.

FOR VICTORIA:

Theo Ester — Theo kind of develops a protective uncle-nephew relationship with Peter as he gets to know the Avengers better, so I could definitely see him bonding with Victoria too and feeling protective over her.

Dev Kahtri — Dev would absolutely love Victoria, I think, and the two of them could bond over being in love with superheroes who always insist on stressing them out by throwing themselves into danger (and if she ever needs help with English homework, Dev is more than happy to provide).

FOR KIT:

Dev Kahtri — given that Dev has worked directly with Kit’s brother once or twice, I definitely think they would have had some time to get to know each other, and that Dev would be a little bit protective over Kit like another older brother would.

Theo Ester — Theo tends to get a little nervous around Clint, finding him loud and a bit too snappy at times, but he’d probably be more comfortable around Kit, becoming genuine friends with him and even getting comfortable enough to talk about their respective boyfriends with him eventually.

Helios — if Kit ever meets the Eternals, I get the feeling he and Helios would get along pretty well, and Helios would do his best to protect Kit from Kingo’s constant teasing and Thena’s constant dead-eyed looks.

FOR MAYA:

Parker Holloway — I mean, Parker’s dating Maya’s brother, they would definitely get to know each other! And I’m sure Parker would really like Maya, definitely calls her the better sibling just to get a rise out of Puck.

Bruno Keeley — I’m sure Bruno and Maya would make for an expected but really nice friendship! I can definitely see them doing some fun duets.

Bailey Taylor — they’re both girls with an appreciation for cute style, so I’m sure they’d be great friends! Bailey doesn’t have a lot of love for Maya’s brother at first, but she’d definitely love Maya, and probably warm up to Puck a bit quicker because of their friendship.

Parker was taught how to play the guitar and drums from their grandmother, who was in an all-female rock band during the 70’s.

Parker has been raised by their grandparents because their mother, who got pregnant at nineteen and was abandoned by her boyfriend, died from complications shortly after giving birth.

Parker’s favorite song is “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie.

Parker used to watch classic sitcoms every night with their grandparents, and still has a bit of a crush on Elaine from Seinfeld.

Parker’s hair is originally brown, but they bleached it and dyed the ends pink on a whim when they were fourteen and haven’t gone back to their natural color since.

Parker has a deep love of dime store fantasy novels. The crappier the magic system and skimpy the ladies’ outfits, the better.

Parker is obsessed with true crime. Their bookshelf is crowded with books about serial killers, and they could tell anyone who asks every single detail of H.H. Holmes’s murder hotel.

Every non-ripped pair of jeans Parker buys wind up getting their knees torn with scissors. Parker claims ripped jeans just feel better to wear.

Though Parker isn’t really a musical fan, they do have a soft spot for Hello, Dolly! because it’s their grandfather’s favorite movie and they used to watch it with him every Saturday night.

Parker refuses to accept that Pluto is no longer a planet. They love Pluto with all their heart, and will argue its validity as a planet until they’re blue in the face.
