he’s tall as shit, has been since fifth year when he got his growth spurt, and he has tendency to loom over most people.

there’s also the matter of his poker face—it’s impeccable, untouchable. can make anyone feel like him stuck to the bottom of his shoe. he learnt it from the best in house black and it’s his default. there’s a reason people are afraid of approaching him, and are slightly awed by james’ ability to unconditionally do so at all times.

his magic is ridiculously sentient. it swirls around him at all times, often feeling suffocating to those near him. he doesn’t even notice how it swells with his emotions, rising in his defence without him having to call it. at times, it can feel like a brick wall, that’s how powerful it is. and it’s cold. people have been known to shiver and turn into metaphorical icicles around him.

and he’s also just intimidating in a—social capital way ykno? so much money, training, and status. it shows. he could be dressed in a potato sack and he’d still reek of royalty. which is essentially what the blacks are.

I know I’m just in the minority, but I’m really, really scared of how the QSMP is progressing. From a ‘meta’ standpoint, I’m pretty sure nothing actually bad is going to happen. Killing the eggs for plot reasons would feel too cheap and would be met by discontent from fans (kinda like Pomme’s dead and Chayanne & Tallulah’s), so it’s very unlikely. The CC’s have all said how the members feel like a real family and how much they love the server and want to keep playing, so they may take a break for a while but will return in the end (I’m pretty sure Quackity is not gonna have permanent deaths like he wanted before anymore lol).

But what really bothers me is the possibility of not having any of those fun-silly moments that were so characteristic of the server.

I’m okay with angst. I think Forever’s arc was great. I loved it. The independence kidnapping of Phil was also cool to watch. So was Charlie’s little thing with the codes and Juanaflippa. But two months (and probably more than that) is just too much for me. It becomes dull and uninteresting.

The whole reason why I stopped watching that other SMP even though I loved it was because of how tiresome it became. How everyone was trying to be “serious” all the time. How they wanted to say one-liners to sound cool for the animatics. How it erased almost all improv and replaced it with scripts.

I know the QSMP is different, but I’m just getting tired of all the CC trying to sneak ‘angsty talk’ into every-day streams just to get a reaction from the chat. It makes me want to roll my eyes. I want to have fun and laugh. That’s why I’ve been watching this server since the beginning. And that’s why it makes me so sad that the angst thing will probably keep going for a while.

I mentioned the other day that I’d rather maintain some excitement and optimism for future tes games until there’s actual evidence to make me feel otherwise, but what I would be a 100% doomer pessimist about would be if they ever tried to adapt anything tes related to film or tv. I’ve given so much thought to how I’d love to see it done, and I have so little faith for anyone to do anything cool or interesting with the world, that just about anything they did with it would disappoint me. There’s no way it could (realistically) actually be good in my eyes

If you are limiting ships to “do these characters interact a lot” then fella, I gotta say, you are invalidating so many ships and limiting your imagination to embarrassing extents.

It’s fine if you don’t like a ship. It’s fine if you don’t get a ship. Clearly a ship you aren’t interest in isn’t for you.

But no ship is invalid just because there isn’t much or any interaction between the characters.

As a cis lesbian, it is beyond frustrating that most terfs are cis lesbians. I hate that many terfs use my sexuality and gender as an excuse for their hate. I hate that lesbian terfs have experienced what it’s like to be ostracized for not being attracted to men and then do the same thing to a group of people who don’t want to be men. We are allies. Trans women and lesbians are groups of people who don’t want men to be a part of who they are. Terfs diminish women to biology and bodily functions. Women are so much more than that. Being attracted to women as a woman is a beautiful thing. And I hate that hate is being brought into that experience.

As a cis lesbian, I want to apologize, especially to all my trans friends, that a large amount of hate comes from people like me. It’s beyond hypocritical and they are against what lesbianism is truly about. Trans people are always welcomed and accepted here and terfs will not be tolerated. Holding so much hate for others who are different is such a sad thing to do and I don’t want to be anywhere near that. Just a reminder that this blog is safe for all trans people and not safe for terfs.
