shen is a gotdam mess when it comes to sleeping. they don’t go to bed until it’s three am and they sleep until noon the next day. they’re all over the bed star-fish style if they’re alone and if there’s another person with them they’re like an octopus. rip molly.

★ - sad headcanon

they were never like. outright bullied for being nb and ace or anything but. they’ve had to deal with a lot of “that’s not a thing” “that doesn’t exist” “you’re not really lgbt” etc comments and they spend a lot of time trying to convince themselves their identity is valid

☆ - happy headcanon

shen and poppy bond over makeup! even when they’re adults, they’ll make a sibling date and go to a buncha beauty stores and look at the makeup. shen’s winged eyeliner is killer. poppy keeps trying to get them to do red lipstick but they refuse.

☠ - angry/violent headcanon

overall shen’s p chill? they’re fairly patient ((you have to be, living with the frasiers)) and it’s really hard to get them even vaguely annoyed but. when they’re mad they just. shut down. go completely still and silent, tight fists, heavy breathing, the works. disturb at your own risk.

✿ - Sex headcanon

shen is so fuckin ace, my dudes. not entirely sex-repulsed, just…they’d prefer not to, please and thank you. they’re almost always worried about not being “enough” for molly, and even though they try to encourage molly to go out and satisfy herself with other partners if necessary, they do tend to get a bit jealous.

■ -  Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

they really like the minimalist look. clean, simple, everything in its place. do they achieve this dream? probably not, but they have something they can aspire to.

♡ - romantic headcanon

you know that vine that’s like “man i don’t like people who are annoying about their significant others. i like low-key stuffEVERYONE LOOK AT BAE SHE GOT A FACE AND OPINIONS”? that’s shen. they love molly to death and will absolutely take every opportunity they can to show her off.

♥ - family headcanon

okay so the movie house is just a giant clusterfuck of a buncha weird aunts and uncles and the occasional child, and shen just happens to be one of those occasional children. they love their big weird family but. uh. no offense but everyone is terrible and thank god shen’s such a patient person.

☮ - friendship headcanon

they’re. not good at making friends. they’re naturally very snarky and sarcastic, and they have a dry humor which can be a little unnerving for people. the people who do stick around are absolute ride-or-die, though.

♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon

shen likes learning new languages for fun. literally just wakes up one day and decides “well today seems like a great day to learn hindu.” right now they’ve got english, spanish, italian, french, german, and a few phrases in latin under their belt. they start working on russian when tethys becomes a permanent fixture in poppy’s life.

▼ - childhood headcanon

shen went through a huge egyptology phase when they were, like, seven or eight. it was a huge thing. alexa and donnie spent a lot of their free time getting dragged to the egyptian exhibit in the local museums. they found the “shen ring” symbol while researching hieroglyphics, and liked it so much that they adopted it as their new identity. donnie and alexa went with it because they were like “oh haha it’s cute they’ll grow out of it.” it’s been 48 years and they’re still shen.

∇ - old age/aging headcanon

they essentially look like a stereotypical old wizard when they get really old. they love it. the one drawback is that they can’t grow a beard. “hOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BE THE MYSTERIOUS NEIGHBORHOOD WIZARD IF I CANT GROW A BEARD, MOLLY”

This is a list of what I consider to be the Top 200 Hip Hop LP’s, EP’s & mixtapes from this year so far. Please keep in mind that in order for me to even narrow this list to 200 I had to exclude all instrumental albums with the exception of Exile’s “Radio” (as it could’ve easily been Album Of The Year) otherwise it would’ve just been ridiculous and impossible to narrow to just 200 Hip Hop albums. This is the final time I do this, after three years I’m sure you all get the point I’m trying to make by now.

Also keep in mind that I’ve heard slightly less than 700 different projects this calendar year (my gmail account was bananas). I’m sure that my Bloggerhouse brethren Eric & Travis have quite a few projects in mind that I missed. That should give you all an idea as to just how deep 2009 was with quality material that you probably never even heard of.

In the comments section feel free to gripe, bitch and/or moan about Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Wale, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes or “insert wack rapper’s name here” lackluster ass album not being in my top 200. Also feel free to add albums, EP’s & mixtapes I missed (like Pill’s). I head mad albums that are still in my rotation that missed this cut (Moka Only made so many albums I stopped him at one so “Summer Notations”, “Carrots & Eggs” & Ron Contour’s”Hot Dog” aren’t on this list).

Dart Adams presents The Top 50 Hip Hop Albums, EP’s & Mixtapes Of 2009 (The Final Top 200)

This is a list of what I consider to be the Top 200 Hip Hop LP’s, EP’s & mixtapes from this year so far. Please keep in mind that in order for me to even narrow this list to 200 I had to exclude all instrumental albums with the exception of Exile’s “Radio” (as it could’ve easily been Album Of The Year) otherwise it would’ve just been ridiculous and impossible to narrow to just 200 Hip Hop albums. This is the final time I do this, after three years I’m sure you all get the point I’m trying to make by now.

Also keep in mind that I’ve heard slightly less than 700 different projects this calendar year (my gmail account was bananas). I’m sure that my Bloggerhouse brethren Eric & Travis have quite a few projects in mind that I missed. That should give you all an idea as to just how deep 2009 was with quality material that you probably never even heard of.

In the comments section feel free to gripe, bitch and/or moan about Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Wale, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes or “insert wack rapper’s name here” lackluster ass album not being in my top 200. Also feel free to add albums, EP’s & mixtapes I missed (like Pill’s). I head mad albums that are still in my rotation that missed this cut (Moka Only made so many albums I stopped him at one so “Summer Notations”, “Carrots & Eggs” & Ron Contour’s”Hot Dog” aren’t on this list).

I’m sure listened to WAY more Hip Hop than you this year (and I probably suffered irreparable damage because of it).
