People have argued about league vs dota way too much when they’re honestly both fun mobas in their own right. But I heavily favor league of legends for one reason: the ratio of female characters to male characters in league of legends is roughly 2:3 which isn’t good, but in dota it’s an abysmal 1:5. If you want to play a female character in league you have at least one option for every role and most character archetypes, if you want to play a female character in dota your options are limited to scantily clad mages, scantily clad marksmen, scantily clad supports or one of two woman in armor who fight melee (1 of which was released only like 1 year ago). Not to say that league of legends is respectful to women, hell some of its designs are arguably far worse in terms of over sexualization than dota, but the key factor here is that THERE ARE ACTUALLY PLAYABLE WOMEN IN LEAGUE

Top 3 Animals

1) Crocodiles — There used to be many saltwater crocodiles back in my mom's province. These are the largest reptiles in the world so just seeing them (from a very far, safe distance away) is pretty awe-inspiring. One of these was so gargantuan we put a replica of its skeleton on display in the national museum in Manila, hung over the lobby. We also have Philippine Crocodiles which are endemic to the country, but I've only seen juvenile ones at a zoo since they're endangered and all.

2) Turtles — There are very few experiences like being on the beach and seeing a sea turtle in the wild. One time we were on a fishing boat and someone screamed, I thought for sure it meant someone spotted a shark, but when I leaned over to look, there was a sea turtle poking its head out right above the coral reefs to watch us. There's not many perks to living in the tropics, but this is one of them.

3) Kulasisi — These are very tiny parrots (I think the smallest in the world even?) that aren't common, but can be found virtually anywhere. One of my favorite classes back in college was birdwatching, where one of our sessions found a couple nesting pairs right outside one of the buildings. It was because of that class that I realized it was a Kulasisi that was making the bird calls I would hear when getting up in the morning to go to class

Top 3 Colors

1) Purple — My grandmother's favorite color, and mine eventually. I used to be a blue person until I shifted to darker purple and violet as I got older

2) Blue — I still like it

3) Black — I really liked the Matrix

Top 3 Games

I'm a big gamer (enough that I went into gamedev for a living despite everything) so this is probably the most malleable list. I'm not difficult to please and generally like a lot of stuff, so a top 3 favorite games list could look very different each time, barring one game.

1) Dota 2 — I have over 5000 hours in my favorite game of all time. Picked it up in 2012, and then it was all over for me. I can go stretches of up to 6 months without touching the game, but when I reopen it, the hype comes flooding back.

2) Devil May Cry 5 — I continue to hold the opinion that DMC5 hit the platonic ideal of stylish action game design, V's lack of depth notwithstanding. The game has been out for 5 years and people are still uploading new runs, finding all these tricks and secrets in the game just as they did with DMC3 and 4 before it. If Dante only got wall running and Wild Stomp back from 3, it might be as close to perfect as you can get. Devil Trigger and Bury The Light are also among my favorite video game songs of all time, among the likes of Killer Instinct's or Metal Gear Rising's

3) Metal Gear Solid 4 — MGS3 is the better game, MGS1 and 2 are more iconic, but MGS4 rescued the PS3 from irrelevancy before Uncharted 2 made it big. Holy shit that game looked unbelievably good when it first came out. The way Snake would lie still and camouflage into the floor while bullets sprayed the ground right in front of him while mooing mechs and soldiers were mere feet away blew my mind.

Games like Resident Evil 4 three years earlier really popularized making cinematic cutscenes that were rendered in-game rather than pre-rendered, but I didn't realize the possibilities behind it until MGS4's Raiden vs Vamp. A complex action scene where Raiden and Vamp had a sword duel would always be cool, but what pushed it over the top was that you kept playing the whole time it was happening. MGS4 would split the screen, playing the cutscene in one half, while in the other you had to carry on with your mission, and goddamn that sure was a moment of thinking "Wow this really is next gen"

a got a little tiny sketch book (its like 4 by 4 in) and decided to try my hand at gouache again. I think maybe the paper shouldn't be taking that much water or maybe im just using too much water but I painted the ancients from dota because I finally got to play again XD

Russian dub yapping

It's my turn to rant on the Russian dub. So, as I previously mentioned, dwk cannot be found on any official sources or streaming services. Therefore, they're not written down at any VAs role list, which means all the following may turn out to be false (although I'm 100% sure on most of them).

Leon (also Michi and this guy with glasses from the Cool kickers)

One of those who I'm 100% sure, because the actress' voice is pretty recognizable. He was voiced by Irina Grishina, an actress and a voice actress. She also voiced Helga from Hey Arnold! in some seasons, Nelson from The Simpsons and younger Tommy from The butterfly effect. Also Pixel and I guess Ziggy at some point from LazyTown.

Jojo, Natasha and Raban (plus background characters)

Also 100% sure on this one. They're voiced by Olga Golovanova, and, yknow, it's the voice that you call your "childhood voice" because this actress voiced quite a lot of movies and cartoons so she has quite many characters. For example, Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy and Sweetie Belle from My little pony, Daphne from Scooby-Doo, Rhonda from Hey Arnold!, Lady from Lady and the Tramp, Mercury from Sailor Moon and many many more.

Deniz and Markus (also Paul and some other background characters)

Another VA that I'm sure in - Prokhor Chekhovskoy. Also a recognizable voice actor with a lot of background. He voiced Frodo from The Hobbit, Jaskier from Netflix The Witcher series, Ted from The Lorax, Tobias from TAWOG, Marty from Back to the future, Daffy Duck from Looney Tunes show. He also voiced video games characters, like Ralph from Detroit: Become Human, as well as some from League of Legends and Dota 2.

Marlon

Now to the ones I'm not really sure about. Marlon is supposedly voiced by Irina Kireeva. She's a quite popular actress, but I think she specializes more on films and games. It's Ashley from Mass effect, Zarya from Overwatch, Romka from Russian novella Tiny Bunny, Eivor from Assassin Creed and more.

Willi

Also not sure about him, but people say he's voiced by Daniil Eldarov. He voiced BBC's Sherlock Moriarty, Knuckles and Eggman from Sonic Boom, Captain America in many Marvel movies, Luke Skywalker, etc.

Vanessa

Who voiced her? Shit if I knew. The only one on whom I couldn't find anything, even though I'm pretty sure I heard her voice before. But so far I have nothing on her, if I find out I'll make an update maybe.

Okay, so we're done with that, but may I comment on the quality?? Even though I think rus dub is one of the best dubs for dwk, there are still some errors. Like there were a few times when the actor just changes for one phrase for no reason and you're like wtf?? And it's always Marlon for some reason idk

Like, the first is his normal voice and the rest is.... whatever this is

Also the way they pronounce Kevin (yeah it's English version of names for us) differently every fucking time. Sometimes it sounds like [e] and sometimes it's more like [ye]. It's not that bad but it's kinda annoying.

Ok so I learned that a new #saveTF2 is going to start on the 26th, so I have a plan for when it starts. It's been proven that Valve doesn't care about the TF2 community so we gotta strike at what they do care about, money. And I'm not just talking about boycotting TF2 no that's stupid. Because if we just do TF2 Valve might just decide to shutdown TF2 forever. No we need to go beyond just TF2 and boycott all of Valve. I'm taking about TF2, CS:GO, Dota and even Steam itself! Think of it like a cut. Sure one tiny cut isn't that bad and you can probably just slap a bandaid on and forget about it. But if you have hundreds of cuts all over you you're going to wanna see a doctor. Yes I know the analogy isn't perfect but my point still stands. If we can get Valve to start hemorrhaging money by boycotting all of their products and not just TF2 they will definitely want to fix the game. So go out and tell everyone on the Internet to stop buying stuff on steam on 26th because we'll need more than just the TF2 community to pull it off.

Title: Play Your Role

"Play Your Role" 😁, three simple words are suited for online games/video games, specifically Action Role-Playing, First and Second Person Shooter and MOBAs (e.g. League of Legends, DOTA 2). That's all the gaming genre I think for a playing role - but its not just for video games/games suited ☝️🎮🖱️, but also for occupations in the real world 💼🌐; you know all kinds of real careers like a store clerk, a janitor, call center agent, teacher, and some tough jobs as well like police officer, construction worker and among others. 🙂

Take my throwback artwork as an example, when Cude 🐰🤖 volunteered a fire fighter / rescuerer from a firing blazing inside the building site and now he's extinguished using a special hydrant tool from the fire department attached to his right armor forehand. Which is rad. 😁🤖🧑‍🚒

So here's to all Filipino workers / employees from this country and across outside world as a O.F.W. / Overseas Filipino Worker. 🫡 🇵🇭 👷👷‍♀️🧑‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🧑‍🏭👩‍🏭🧑‍💼👩‍💼🌐

Taeyong didn't know. He realized something, though, and blurted out, "Fuck, Doyoung, you're gonna breed me?"

Doyoung laughed. He urged Taeyong to stand, and the shifting hurt a tiny bit, but Taeyong loved the feeling of Doyoung's chest against his back.

"I'm sorry, baby, I forgot." Doyoung said. "But you like getting messy, I know you do."

Taeyong tilted his head onto Doyoung's shoulder and his eyes fluttered closed. He flinched, ticklish,  when Doyoung's fingers ghosted over his neck, then his tummy, next wrapping his hand around Taeyong's leaking cock. Taeyong moaned just at that.

"Want me to put one on?" Doyoung whispered in Taeyong's ear. Taeyong cared about condoms, but he didn't get upset if one was ever forgotten. They all get tested regularly. Doyoung was right, anyway. He liked getting messy.

Lucky

I found Lucky behind a dumpster by my house. It was pouring rain and I found him while I was taking out the garbage. He was a tiny black kitten, all alone and shivering in the wet and cold. Obviously, I had to take him in.

I wrapped him in a towel and placed him next to the heater. My old cat, Storm, just passed away and I still had a bunch of his food left. As I opened a can of wet food, my girlfriend Dawn came in and said,

“You know those things are bad luck right,” referring to Lucky.

Now, she had always been the type to believe in luck and magic and I always humored her. I even let her set up an altar and do weird spells I don’t understand. But this time, I had to put my foot down.

“That ‘thing’ is just a defenseless kitten. Relax.”

“Whatever,” she passive-aggressively replied.

So because of that, I named him Lucky out of sheer spite.

A week passed and Lucky started getting stronger. In fact, he is one of the most rambunctious cats I’ve ever seen. He loves it when I play with him and get him new toys. At night though, he starts winding down and he turns into an absolute cuddle bug. His favorite place to sleep is on my lap while I play DOTA.

It’s just that there are times at night when he is wide awake and just staring at something; hissing even. I caught him staring at the corner of my living room with his hackles up, hissing up a storm. I tried to pet him but he wouldn’t relent, swiping his paws at the invisible intruder. Then as soon as he started, he stopped. He turned into a cuddly furball again.

Just in case you’re curious, Dawn and Lucky don’t like each other. Every time Dawn does a spell, he avoids her like the plague. Whenever Lucky is near her, she either moves away or physically pushes him out of the way. I always thought that was weird. I thought cats were witches’ best friends. I didn’t think much of it. I chalked it up to personality differences and moved on.

Two weeks after I found Lucky, weird things started happening. I would lose my keys, I would trip at random times, and I’d wear my shirt inside out. Tiny things that on their own wouldn’t really bother you but they happened so frequently that I started wondering if I was losing it.

“It’s that cat,” Dawn would say.

I shrugged her off. What the hell does she know?

Then, other stuff started to happen. Picture frames would fall off the walls. Dishes and cups would fall out of the cupboards like someone is throwing them around. Doors would slam in the middle of the night. One time, Dawn and I woke up to the bed shaking violently. I screamed for whatever it was to stop but to no avail. Lucky came into our bedroom and ran under the bed. He was hissing and meowing violently like he was fighting for his life against another cat. Eventually, the shaking stopped. I raced to the light switch and turned it on, looking for… something. Seeing nothing and no one in my bedroom, I crawled under the bed to take Lucky out. His ears were placed back and he was curled up into a ball, he was clearly afraid. I coaxed him out and carried him. I pet him and whispered reassurances.

Dawn did not like this.

“All of this? It’s because of that fucking cat! Think about it. This all started when you took that thing home!”

“Stop calling Lucky a thing! It’s not his fault and I know that for a fact.”

“What do you know?! I know about the supernatural way more than you.”

The gears started turning in my brain. Then, something clicked.

“Dawn.”

“What?!”

“When was the last time you did one of your weird spells?”

The look of indignation slowly melted into a look of shock and shame.

“Two weeks ago,” she said.

I knew it. My cat wasn’t the problem. My cat was protecting me. It was her.

“Undo it.”

“But-”

“Now!”

“Okay, fine!”

I followed Dawn to the kitchen and watched as she got oils and herbs from the cupboards. She went to her altar and started pouring her oils into bowls. Then, she recited an incantation as she lit some candles and burned some herbs.

“There, done.”

“Take your altar down.”

“What-”

“Do it, Dawn!”

She begrudgingly put away her crystals, cards, and candles and put them in a box. She also spitefully disassembled the table it was previously on, looking at me with anger and hatred the whole time.

“There! Are you happy? What else?”

“Get out of my house. We’re done. And take your witch shit with you.”

I sat on the couch cradling Lucky as she stomped all over the house while gathering her things. Once she was done, she slammed the door behind her. I looked on from the window as her car aggressively backed out of my driveway and drove into the night.

It’s been three months since she left. I’m single now but I am happily and peacefully living with my pal Lucky. Maybe I should rename him, after all, I turned out to be the lucky one.
