Hello!
Do you have any kimonos that contain bells or Maneki Neko? I love both and would love to see some :3
Hi! Bonshô (Buddhist temple bell) and dôtaku (Yayoi period bell) are rare on garments, but tiny bells are pretty common on kimono and obi are those are super auspicious objects (ring was thought to ward off evil away)! Look for for 鈴 suzu.
Maneki neko are more a cute novelty pattern but you can find items patterned with beckoning cat/other animals or auspicious calico cat, often associated with gold koban coins :3

I always assumed that the island's Pokémon were the defence system.
Oh they're certainly part of it. And never knowing whos where makes for a random roster of what can hit you trying to attack the shores. Hard for any nefarious sorts to counter if they dont know what theyre up against.
And lets face it, its the security, battle staff, and professors you gotta watch out for along side the pokemon, and security systems.
The islands garnered a reputation for a reason.

@prof-peach a Visit to Dōtaku island
Upon their arrival Alexander was not surprised by how lovely the Island is , but was surprise to have found the famed Prof.Peach waiting for them and Bud at the docks. They had communicated through email before that Alexander was planning a trip to visit Dotaku island , but figured if the two were to meet in person it would be when they went to the lab during a tour ,not at the docks. Alexander surprise was pleasant though, and had welcomed her company as together they made their way up the path and through one of the outdoor gardens. Alexander spoke to Professor peach Abouts Bud’s recovery and health at length during their walk, about issues that have come up and been resolved and issues that they were still having on occasion. She gave advice to all of their quarries, some they had heard before and others that they packed away to try when they went home. Alexander spoke about how after the infection had been purged from Bud’s body, They rooted themselves in their pot and from their Oddish components grew a blackberry bush. How their Berries had produced the strange progeny that ran around them as together they walk through the gardens . Peach thought it was interesting, both the strange progeny that Bud produced and that after the blackberry bush had withered away Bud’s Budew and Sunkern components had grown vines and flowers that even after months hadn’t withered away. ” A sign of good health” she said. They went on one like this giving each other questions and answers for a good while before peach asked to examine Bud and their progeny Saffron and Verdant in her lab. Alexander had agreed , they had enjoyed their conversation with Professor Peach and we’re always fascinated to find out more about Bud.
“i’m glad bud found their way to you” she said “ not everyone would’ve put in the effort you did it“ Alexander was flattered by the compliment.Peach recommended that while she performed her examinations , that they should continue touring the island and that she looked forward to speaking to them again when she was done . Alexander continue to explore the island and look forward to whatever information The professor found about Bud.

"Oh- I don't think my name is important to my day to day life. People come and go from me so often that it's unreasonable to give them my actual name. You can just call me the Gardner."
Meet the lovely "Gardner" - my idea for a purely hypothetical partner for both Peach and Grey from the lovely @prof-peach. More about them under the cut!
Gardner came upon the island very suddenly. One day they were not there and the next... They had situated themselves within the greenhouse, pulling weeds with a hum in their throat.
Peach and Grey paid them no mind at first. No questions of where they were from or what they wanted of this island. But, one day they received news of the guardian pokemon from the restricted north end spotting the seemingly very smart individual having a bloody picnic on the very border of the land, with a very surly Sylveon on the other side joining them - all at ass o'clock in the morning.
Peach confronted Gardner the next morning and started asking questions. Mostly what the hell they were thinking and how they had gotten the Sylveon to eat with them when that Sylveon had been there for literal years with human blood on its muzzle and a dead, violent stare at any who passed it. Who the hell were they?
Gardner's answer?
They weren't anyone special- just someone who found themselves peckish on a insomnia induced walk and found themselves entertaining a "very kind" and "pleasant" Sylveon. They really had no idea they weren't supposed to be there until a guard pokemon tried to usher them away.
Peach and Grey kept an eye on Gardner after this and learned more of the odd fellow.
Their past is a mystery. They wave off any questions of who they were before this, and don't answer where they're from. If the accent is anything to go off of, they at least grew up in Galar. They loved to garden, seeing Peach every day in the greenhouse. They see Grey most often in the breeding center, a seeming expert on the craft of raising and caring for eggs, carrying pokemon, and reering any abandoned young. They learned of their partner pokemon; the dear elderly November the Roselia, the freshly hatched Peep the Hoothoot/Oricorio hybrid with no wings and only one leg, the aptly named "Surprise" - a stubborn unknown egg they always have in their overalls that has refused to hatch for a while now, and the mentions of another partner the duo know nothing of- but that is missed dearly.
Grey was the first to get closest to Gardner, wanting to make sure the fellow was legit at first but... They were so kind and lovely! Sure, they didn't talk of their past, but Peach didn't either at first. Maybe they had family issues as well. And, this island was open to anyone looking to escape from their lives. So long as they didn't cause trouble. The true terror in their eyes at the idea of returning to the mainland, and the voracity they defended the place during attacks with sealed it.
This "Gardner" was a friend.
A... friend who seemed to flirt without realizing they were flirting. A friend who wrote and passed letters to Grey when they were relaxing in the same room, and he wrote back. A friend who stayed up all hours to watch a sickly egg they weren't sure was going to make it. A friend who cried happy, blubbering tears seeing two pokemon find love. A friend who sang odd songs, and cooked terrible food at all hours of the night. Who straightened Grey's clothes with a passing comment that there was such an odd spot that looked a bit funky. Who made tea and awful snacks Grey ate anyway while they watched eggs. Who held his hand as they walked. Who pet his more vicious pokemon and became a staple to life.
Grey fell hard and fast for Gardner. They were just so... Lovely.
Peach was apprehensive but... Let Grey do as he pleased. Helped Grey pick out an outfit to ask the lovely Gardner out. Sat and listened as Grey gushed about the lovely night they'd had and how Gardner didn't even seem to know it was a date until Grey outright kissed Gardner's hand at the very end of the night.
Peach fell for Gardner when Gardner seemed to be sticking around more and more. Their knowledge of plants and grass pokemon was... attractive. And the "Secret notes" Gardner left to boost Peach's day were nice. How Peach learned of the horrific burn scar that covered most of their torso that they waved off after taking off their shirt to warm a cold pokemon. How they still pet Val... a bit apprehensively but kindly. How they could gush about Grey together, and plot ways to woo their man. Gardner seemed to hid a mischevious side that showed more when around Peach. How they watched Peach wrestle a protective Ursarang and offer a nice drink after. How she was slotted between the cuddling Gardner and Grey at night. How Gardner would try their best not to wake them when their insomnia kept them up. How they convinced the Sylveon they met all that time ago to return with them to the main island. How Grey lit up to talk about them. How they laughed and snorted and were just lovely and-
Oh.
Oh dear.
Peach was encouraged to pursue Gardner by an estatic Grey. They both had two hands to hold them with! Peach was, of course, stubborn and refused to do anything until the notes Gardner left turned into "secret admirer" notes. Then she had to confront the silly, sweet Gardner and be taken out on a nice moonlit walk.
The three are all very happy together.
They can never know Gardner was originally hired to bring Peach back to her family by any means necessary, or face more, worse consequences than the burn they endured. How they used to be a hired breeder for the family Peach never met, but their heart couldn't take the treatment the pokemon endured and they paid for it with this favor. How they didn't mean to fall for Grey and Peach, but they did. How it's never been an act, but that Sylveon incident was planned. How that's their Sylveon and always has been; that mysterious "other partner" and their first pokemon.
They can never know.

Out of curiosity, how does someone go about contacting a Professor to get the chance to get a Regional Starter? My youngest sister’s going to start her journey in two months and I don’t think her Bunnelby is going to cut it. At least when it comes to protecting her in the worst case scenario…
Any pokemon can be an excellent partner so long as you work together and understand each other.
A starter doesn't indicate the beginning of a journey, rather when someone feels ready to journey out.
If she stays on the main paths and keeps communication devices on her, there will be little to worry about.
Pokemon Rangers like myself work hard to keep exceptionally dangerous or wild pokemon away from the main paths and general public, so there won't be too often that she will run into any major danger on the main Routes.
If you truly believe she needs a starter then you can easily call your local professor, Sycamore if you're in Kalos, and they typically have events for starters about every two weeks.
However I really appreciate smaller pokemon research labs that embrace the choice method.
@prof-peach and all of her team have a great method where instead of starters, they allow you to walk their island and interrwct with the wild pokemon there and become close.
If she decides the trainer is worthy, she will allow them to become partners.
It'd a great process because the pokemkn chooses the partner just as much as the trainer.
I'd recommend looking into them.

sylveon
[[Send a📄 + the name of a Pokémon to see how much my muse knows about that specified Pokémon.]]
Well, I know all of the general knowledge, such as how it evolves, it's abilities in empathy, etcetera.
A lot more is known about Sylveon than any Hisuian variants of Pokemon due to their lack of borderline extinction, so I don't have much else to give you other than how they're one of the most-employed Pokemon as service Pokemon for Anxiety, Depression, and the like.
Oh! And the ribbons can look different, depending on what sort of texture the Eevee was around the most, or evolved wearing. The silk ribbons are general, in which the Eevee didn't have any particular preference, or wore no accessoried. But some were very fond of yarn and got a more crocheted pattern of ribbon. Here is an illustrated rendition of some of these variants, by Professor Peach of Dotaku Island. She seems to focus more on grass types, though, as a specialty.

@prof-peach opened the gates of hell to a wave of OCs for her wonderful island so here I am! With a baby!!
This young fella here is Allen, hailing from Rustboro City in Hoenn. Without a clear idea of what to do for their future after school nor particular interest into challenging the Gyms, they fell into the “Oh, I love pokemon, they’re so nice and awesome, I could work with them!” trap and applied to help out in the nearby DayCare. In short, they fucked around and found out- pokemon are much harder to care for than what most think and what cute videos and competitions make it look. They’re not type to back down from a challenge though, and they’re powered by sheer spite towards their doubtful parents who want them to go into a more profitable field, so they pushed through and  worked hard to get better. After seeing that Prof. Peach was looking for volunteers on  Dōtaku Island, they decided to hop on the occasion and get more experience.
They’re kinda new to the Island but they learn fast and have tough skin- hopefully they won’t end up in some pokemon’ stomach. Whatever needs to be done in the facility, they’re avaible; recovering and babysitting children who stranded from their group? On it, boss. Giant pile of pokemon poop to clean up? Mask and shovel already in hand. Tour car broke down? Pretty sure if they bonk it just right it’ll start up again or something. Entitled visitor is harassing other staff members? Telling people to fuck off is their favourite job. They’re also a fan of Professor Grey (where does he find all that energy??) but with Professor Peach they’re stuck in the “Do I want to be her, date her, or be adopted by her?” limbo. Good luck getting out of that one kid.
Team:
Tiny - a dwarf, half shiny Raboot with a big personality, second oldest of the team, can and will cut a bitch. He’s a bit on the jealous side and loves being given attentions despite his murder gaze.
Mop - short for Muppet, she’s a sweet bean Shuppet who’s been Allen support pokemon for the last two years. She’s very chill and loves taking naps with her trainer.
Albedo - last addition to the team from Allen’s parents before they left for the Island. He’s a 6 months old Houndour, hunting dog variety, too smart for his own good and a bit spiteful when he doesn’t get what he wants. His name is due to his very shiny silver coat.
Aster - first pokemon on Allen’s team, he’s a shiny Ponyta they befriended on a family trip to Lavaridge Town. He’s and indipendent but friendly very big boy, happy to be Allen’s primary form of transportation on the Island and outside. He’s been refusing to evolve despite being well past the evolution point, and Allen is trying to understand if there’s any issue at play that could be solved.
Wiggle - a curious Poliwag who has been recently following Allen around  Dōtaku Island. He’s a bit shy but sometimes he managed to gather enough courage to play with other pokemon, and Allen makes sure to keep an eye on him in case he gets in trouble or goes into areas that he should not be in.

I don’t normally do this kind of content but @prof-peach opened up for OCs and I couldn’t resist! Jackie’s less of an OC and more of my self insert for the games but have her anyways! :)
Tumblr media
Jackie is a tried and true Driftveil girl, and as such is pretty harsh. She grew up playing with the rock types that were often around there and getting lost in caves, and as such her trademark stubbornness grew. She’s the type to get lost and refuse to ask for directions, instead trying every single road possible until she stumbles on the right one. It’s slow and very much beating your head against a wall but it works and she has yet to see it fail her.
As soon as she was granted her first Pokémon she found her true passion. Pokémon themselves.
Her first Pokémon like many naive young trainers was a fire type, and by golly was it a hectic time in the early stages.
Her father had sent her a Pokémon from where he had moved, the Johto region, and as such Charcoal became her very first partner, a rather rambunctious cyndaquil who’d prefer to fight than hide.
Time has passed and she has managed to screw a bit more of a reasonable head on her shoulders now.
She’s stopped traveling, mostly after discovering the costs of constantly being on the move, and instead managed to settle into Dotaku Island. She’s not great with the grass types but that’s not why she’s there, let’s be honest.
While the island may specialize in grass types it also gets many rejects, and with those come many many fire. She’s the one to call when you have a fire type being too unruly or chaotic, where she’ll come in, scoop up the creature or tempt it away from where it can cause harm. She essentially does damage control, making sure no other Pokémon can be seriously hurt by the traumatized fire Pokémon that make their way to the island.
She’s got a lot of burns on her body, maybe a third of them from her younger years first dealing with fire types. The ones on her hands however are typically from her awful cooking, she’ll pull cookies out of the oven, realize there’s no space on the counters, and then just stand there holding them while they burn her fingers because she doesn’t know what to do and she doesn’t want to drop them or burn them by placing them back in the oven.
She’s had quite a few mistakes and the scars on her body are there to prove it but never once has she thought about giving up and stopping caring for Pokémon. She knows from personal experience how hard fire types can be to handle and she wants to do her best to give them all a second chance, to teach others the same stubbornness she has, to get them to care enough to stick past the burns and pain until you get to the Pokémon themself.
TEAM:
(Not pictured) Charcoal the Typhlosion
As mentioned before, Charcoal is a pokemon always raring for a fight, and at first that included with or without his trainers consent. For a while Jackie found herself running after her pokemon as he got into fights, at first scooping him up when he wouldn’t listen. Eventually the trademark burns on her upper arms happened, another incident where she thought the best way to stop Charcoal was to physically keep him from fighting and he reacted in kind by breathing fire on the arms that held him in place. Somehow Jackie managed not to drop the pokemon. Eventually the cyndaquil tired himself out and, with a bit of guilt on both sides, the two of them got down to coming to an understanding, Jackie admitting she’d take him out for more exercise and fighting as long as he waited for her permission before attacking somebody elses pokemon.
Now he’s evolved to a full Typhlosion where he follows his trainer around waiting for someone to look at them wrong so he can fight them. He helps her dealing with the bigger fire types who need a good smack before they can be calm enough to listen.
(Pictured) Rorsch and Tuskki, the twins, Espeon and Umbreon
Rorsch and Tsukki aren’t actually twins. That’s the first thing. Jackies first Pokémon she wanted to catch was an eevee, the tiny fuzzy Pokémon sounded like an amazing cuddle partner and an easy enough first catch, and she quickly managed to find and capture Rorsch. However on the train home she found an eevee, sleeping under the seats, angry and alone. She took the same train every night and eventually it became common sight for passengers to see the two reviews curled up around her sleeping form. She caught Tsukki and the two have been close ever since. They did everything together despite their very different natures, Tsukki brash and quick to judge and Rorsch calmly and logically.
When the two evolved (Tsukki first surprisingly and Rorsch the upcoming dawn) Rorsch made it a habit to clean up after both his trainer and his brother with his new psychic abilities and Tsukki used his unique patterning to light up the nights so the trio could always see where they’re going. They tend to stick quite close to Jackie and if you see the twins their trainer isn’t far away, while her other pokemon take to wandering a bit more.
(Not pictured) Chip a Kabutops
Chip is another abandoned pokemon, though Jackies meeting with him was a bit more aggressive than Tsukkis.
Fossil recovery is a newer process and not every trainer knows what they’re going to get. As far as Jackie can tell, Chip was recovered and the trainer was put off by his looks, so they released him out onto the beach. Unfortunately introducing any new pokemon into the wild where they don’t belong can be bad, especially if that pokemon is new to this world entirely and has no idea where he is or what’s going on. He lashed out a lot at the wildlife until he managed to secure himself a bit of a home, constantly fighting anyone who came near. Eventually Jackie heard tell of it and curiosity got the better of her. A few fights between Charcoal and Chip and a big hug for the scared pokemon and Chip felt much more comfortable leaving safely with Jackie then defending himself constantly.
He was already evolved when Jackie got to him, probably from his constant fighting. Now he wanders from Jackies side a lot, not comfortable with other pokemon, and instead can be found in the caves and beaches doing as he wishes until dinner time. He tries his best not to lash out to any other pokemon but he’s still scared he’ll have to defend himself and his new home and it’s hard to break that habit, so Jackie is more than willing to give him the space to just be alone. Besides, he always comes back when he needs a hug.
(Pictured) Sol (?)
Sols not an official part of the team in as much as he doesn’t have a pokeball, but he seems to have made himself part of it anyways. Jackie’s not sure how he managed to get onto the island or what his past is, but she is sure that he’s pretty young, quick to throw temper tantrums as he teethes his tusks, and practically stuck like glue to her ankles. The other pokemon have taken a liking to the tiny guy, as has Jackie, but she’s adamant to find his original trainer, if any, before she goes about adopting him permanently.
Hope you enjoyed, I know it’s very long but I was having fun writing it and getting some of my pokemons stories out on paper- er- digital paper.

ADOPTABLES NOW LOOKING FOR A HOME £25 (British Pound) per mon, Paypal only, First come first serve, DM to proceed with a paypal email for the invoice should you be interested.
BULBASAUR ------------------------- SOLD ARON --------------------------------- SOLD SKITTYxGLAMEOW -----------------SOLD CACNEA ----------------------------- SOLD
(evolutions for tany adoptables are avaiable at additional costs should people want that. DM for information.)
------------------------------Bio's below-------------------------------
It is a rainy day on Dotaku, most shelter under awnings and sit watching the weather from cosy positions in cafes, frequenting the arcade by the docks, and wandering the greenhouses to dodge getting wet. You however have found your way out to a pitched marque with a handful of pokemon inside, one somewhat gloomy looking member of staff with them handing out treats. The staff member wears a zip up Dōtaku green jacket, only noticing you after a moment, a middle aged man with a rounded shape and kind eyes, one thick moustache hiding his top lip but yuo can tell he smiles.
"Come to make a new friend today? We''ve still got two trouble makers searching for the right match, maybe one would suit you. Would you like me to tell you a little about them?"
You nod, eyeing the four, two of which ocming more forward with looks of intruigue.
You're not unfamilair with bulbasaur, this one however looks very unusual, its bulb is no bulb at all, complexion far lighter, with the brightest eyes watching you. "This little lady was hatched right here on Dotaku, but she lacked what give bulbasaur their energy, not having been hatched with the seed that grows to be the typical heafty bulb on their backs. It wasnt an issue, happens from time to time, and so the Professor planted one within them, and put them in recovery. We had a freak power cut and the containment unit that had her in it was breached by Morelull spores. They took hold in the fresh surgery area, and when her bulb started to grow, it came out like this. Peach has checked her over a hundred times, and she shows no adverse issues other than being less tolerant of direct sun, and a little more active towards the end of the day and night time. She's jolly, sweet and curious, but quite young, so she can be a little naive about things. She shows a lot of talent with spore attacks, but struggles with more phyical moves. In time she may prove a very functional contest pokemon should she like that lifestyle." Moving along the line, more at the back chewing on a rather destroyed toy is an Aron with darker metal than normal, and more spikes than youre use to seeing.
"He was brought in with several dents, and substantial damage, this little bruiser despite being sick at the time was picking fights with things ten times his size. The dents were buffed out where possible, he shed chunks of his shell, and regrew in tough as ever with time. None of his damage was long lasting, and when asked wether he wished to return home, he decided travel was a better choice for him, seeing many visitors battling at the island inspired him I suppose. They do very well with steel tying and struggle with their usual rock moves, so we'd advise against pushing them down that route if they're not comfortable doing so. He has a fondness for Sour foods and likes a lot of pampering, though he may seem bashful about this at the start. Buffing their shell up so it shines will bring out a very pleasent disposition in this critter, so we advise you keep a cleaning set on hand for those days when its rainy or theres a lot of fights ahead. He mixes well with others, but can be a bully to weaker constitution mons, so keep an eye on them. We nicknamed him ‘Chunky' but he has no real affinity for the name, so feel free to discuss a pick a new one."
Next along, sitting directly in the centre of the table, so you couldnt possibly miss it, a curly tailed feline looking pokemon.
"This ones Belladonna, a real diva. Her old owner spoilt her rotten, and her behaviour got out of hand because of it. She's since been retrained and the naughty personality traits have been reeled in to a more managable level. She has become well behaved with other pokemon, socilising shouldn't be an issue now, she shows a great enjoyment of walks, but will not roughhouse, soexercise with her should be very heavily based around play and games more than battling. She loves a brush, loves to be doted on, and may weaponise her cute apperance, so dont let her get the better of you, clear systems and rules in place with reward when followed is key to her not taking full advantage of you. She has a good heart, just takes a little while for her to warm up to you."
The final one in the line is a cacnea that looks like its been stretched in a taffy puller, who sits with its little legs swinging off a crate.
"And finally that little man is perfectly healthy, happy, and otherwise well adjusted. He was brought in because someone thought there was something wrong with him, there isnt, he's just tall. His variant type has been seen working in tandem with ranchers in hotter climates to manage pokemon herds, their evolutions can see all around for a fair distance, and srve as rgeat guards, towering over their normal counterparts. He's got a real level head on him, and should grow to be a fantastic friend. He loves spicy foods, and tends to put others before himself alot, so make sure to give them dedicated time and space to maintain their health and happiness."

A grave bore Alexander’s name ,it was not the first and not the last that now dotted Foster Island. The indigo stone read. “Here lyes Alexander Esparza. Child , sibling , pibling , and beloved. They gave us a chance “
So many died the first year the the eastern rift opened, terrible creature had come into the world from that blighting gate. That slaughter and rotted everything they touched . Lead by seven wraith princes in their attempt to conquer the world. Region after region fell to their onslaught . But humanity and pokemon alike had yet to yield to their might , but it was a losing battle . So After the fall of the only other truly safe Human outpost dotaku island ,Alexander took the risk. In a mission few knew about Alex in secret Tavel the world to the rift . The princess said the beast king that ruled them kept the portal open , so Alex entered the gate and with their stange power took it into themself . Conducted ever drop of power and more . The princess screamed with the message that their god king was dead and their killer with him as the Rift between world slammed shut .
The wraith creatures remained , but with their gates closed they could no longer call on their endless reinforcements. They had give us all a real chance .

Dōtaku Island Staff OC!
——
As the person who pretty much kickstarted the Dōtaku Staff OC trend, it was pretty much my job to make my own staff oc. In light of that, here’s Kass! As always the art and Kass belong to me, while Dōtaku Island and Prof. Peach both belong to @prof-peach! (Go check out their blog it’s amazing!) More info under the cut!
——
Name: Kasper Rhinehardt (Goes by Kass)
Age: 24 yo
Gender: Non-Binary (They/He pronouns)
Height: 5’ 3”
Job: Groomer (Specializes in reptilian pokemon as well as most fire and bug-types)
Hometown: Motostoke City, Galar
General Info: Kass is a former gym trainer for the Fire-type leader Kabu, and now works on Dōtaku Island as a pokemon groomer and a staff member. Due to their experience under Kabu, they have the patience, willpower, and persistence to deal with pokemon of almost all temperaments. In their downtime they love cooking, foraging, and spending quality time with their team. Pretty much almost all of the treats that Kass gives his clients are homemade and his team are more than willing to taste test his creations. They also help teach the Fungi Foraging 101 and Foraging for Beginners workshops due to it being a hobby of theirs. Fun Fact: Kass is so lightweight that he’s been easily benched by Peach multiple times as a testament to how physically stronk she is. (They also turn red like a tomato berry at any mention of those occurrences.)
Team:
- Howl the Obstagoon: Looks like they could kill you, is a cinnamon roll; Met on Route 3 of Galar; Is a huge crackhead™ most of the time, but otherwise is a very sweet boy; If you ever hear a scream when you’re picking up/dropping off your pokemon from/for grooming, that’s usually Kass getting soaked by Howl shaking after he just got a bath because he won’t sIT STILL!
- Kaen the Centiskorch: Looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll; Given to Kass by Kabu, and is Kass’ starter; An absolute perfect pokemon in all sense of the word; Loves to give people warm hugs and is incredibly good with little kids; His best quality is his wiggles™; Often seen either taking care and occupying smaller pokemon while others are being groomed or helping Kass with their cooking.
- Espada the Grovyle, Gargoyle Variant: Looks like a cinnamon roll, could actually kill you; Met in the forests of Dōtaku Island; The most recent addition to Kass’ team and is the most surprising member; Used to be distant and a tad violent, but due to Kass’ persistence he’s now an attention hog and loves getting scritches; Often assists Kass with grooming and is surprisingly good at helping cut and de-shed stubborn fur; He and Kaen are also Kass’ go-to when helping Peach calm down a rowdy pokemon and during the Battle contest.
- Canyon the Silicobra, Eastern Hognose Variant: Looks like they could kill you, would actually kill you; Met on Route 6 of Galar; You’d think that all of Kass’ pokemon are all of these well-behaved angels, but then there’s this petty brat; He will bite and gnaw when he doesn’t get his way, which is often (Kass is so used to it that it doesn’t work on them); His sand glands are underdeveloped, so he pretty much relies on his biting moves more than his ground-type moves; He is so dramatic that he usually throws a tantrum once a day, much to Kass and the other staff member’s amusement.
