Construisez vos villes, vos routes, en profitant au mieux des ressources de cette île si accueillante tout en commerçant avec vos voisins.Catan est un jeu passionnant, véritable succès parmi les jeux de société contemporains. Sorti en 1995 sous le nom "Les Colons de Catane", ce jeu de société reste l'un des plus vendus dans le monde et insufflé un véritable renouveau dans le monde des jeux de stratégie et de plateau.Les règles sont simples, les parties sont d'une durée raisonnable et le mécanisme est très fluide alliant gestion de ressources et négociations entre joueurs.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvI8eFfm6Bk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1J7IyUpOeIL'objectif : vous devez être le premier à atteindre 10 points de victoire. Les points de victoire sont acquis en construisant des routes etvillages.Catan est basé sur plusieurs mécanismes simples. Le plateau représente l'Ile de Catane et ses différents paysages vous apportant différents types de ressources. Selon la position sur le plateau de vos routes et villages,vous collecterez à chaque tour des ressources que vous gérerez afin de construire routes et villages (qui doivent toujours être reliés).Vous pourrez échanger des ressources avec vos adversaires, négocier mais aussi gêner leur développement en plaçant judicieusement vos propres constructions. Plus vous vous développerez, plus vous aurez des chances de collecter des ressources supplémentaires pour construire et ainsi voler vers la victoire.Catan, malgré sa simplicité, a une dimension tactique et stratégique très sympathique.Des extensions complémentaires au jeu de base vous permettent en apportant de nouvelles possibilités de renouveler le jeu et de le rendre encore plus passionnant.

Un lancement prometteur mais

Lancez CATAN - Console Edition et observez le plateau surgir avec majesté de l'océan, dans toute sa splendeur haute-fidélité. Plus besoin d'investir dans des éditions de luxe ou de s'offrir des pièces Etsy pour obtenir un plateau CATAN de qualité supérieure, car celui-ci est sans aucun doute l'un des plus beaux jamais créés.Les tutoriels ont également su nous charmer. Un gentleman à la voix douce, qui semble avoir été spécialement casté pour ajouter une touche d'ironie, nous a parfaitement initiés aux subtilités de CATAN. C'était une écoute facile et claire, nous permettant de nous remettre à niveau après des années d'absence.Cependant, quand il s'agit des modes de jeu et des paramètres, CATAN - Console Edition est quelque peu décevant. Aucune des extensions de CATAN n'est disponible dans cette version de base, même si nous pouvons imaginer que cela pourrait changer si le jeu remporte un succès suffisant. Nous n'en espérions pas beaucoup, mais la possibilité d'étendre le jeu aurait été grandement appréciée.Les options en ligne et en local sont disponibles, avec la possibilité de jouer avec des joueurs humains ou des IA, mais les choix ne sont pas extrêmement variés. Nous aurions aimé pouvoir modifier les préférences de commerce des IA ou augmenter leur niveau de difficulté, mais cela n'était pas possible. La personnalisation se limite à la couleur et l'avatar des joueurs, et c'est à peu près tout.Il en va de même pour votre personnage. Nous voulions modifier le plateau de jeu et les graphismes, mais nous n'avons trouvé que le fond, le cadre et la couleur des dés. Et même là, les options étaient très limitées. Nous pensons qu'un DLC payant est à venir. Le plus accablant est le manque d'options de jeu. On s'avance un peu ici, mais CATAN - Console Edition peut être assez chargé, avec un plateau si détaillé et animé qu'il peut être difficile de repérer vos maisons, vos routes ou le voleur. Mais vous ne pouvez pas simplifier le plateau ou supprimer les informations que vous ne voulez pas. Ce n'est pas un jeu que vous pouvez visualiser particulièrement bien en un coup d'œil. Vous ne pouvez pas non plus accélérer les tours du processeur, ni supprimer les animations indésirables. C'est un jeu lent qui est déterminé à rester un jeu lent, avec seulement la possibilité de "cacher les échanges" comme méthode pour accélérer un tour. En somme, CATAN - Console Edition est un beau jeu avec des tutoriels bien conçus, mais il manque cruellement d'options de jeu et de personnalisation. Bien qu'il soit possible de jouer en ligne ou en local avec des joueurs humains et des CPU, les options pour modifier les préférences du CPU, augmenter la difficulté ou personnaliser le plateau et les graphismes sont très limitées.En fin de compte, si vous cherchez une expérience de jeu CATAN de base, CATAN - Console Edition pourrait être pour vous, mais si vous recherchez une expérience de jeu plus personnalisée et dynamique, vous devriez chercher ailleurs.En résumé, CATAN - Console Edition offre une belle expérience visuelle et sonore, avec des tutoriels efficaces pour les débutants. Cependant, le jeu manque cruellement d'options de jeu, ce qui peut frustrer les joueurs expérimentés. Les contrôles sont bien conçus, mais certains bugs peuvent survenir. @dovetailgames @trainsimworld2 My quick review of Train Sim World 2 on Xbox, been playing for about 3 hours and am throughly enjoying it, its graphically stunning quite relaxing and addictive to just sit at watch it let alone play it aswell. The addition of the London Underground Bakerloo Line is what sold it for me, even down to the sounds from the underground are spot on!!! But getting the chance to drive the iconic 1972 Stock trains brought me right back to my childhood living just outside London in Watford and jumping on the Metropolitan Line to Amersham with my mum to see my grandad. So far I give this game 8/10 will probably go to 9.5/10 once the preserved collection is launched and I can take all my old trains and routes from TSW 2020 over to it. Highly recommended to anyone who likes simulation games, trains and nostalgia. A more in depth review will follow in a few weeks once I have had a look at the other tains and routes included with it. Well done Dovetail Games you smashed it so far 😁
