Okay I can't remember if I've talked at all about my ideas for slime si but

1) isekai. I would be an Otherworlder who was summoned. Clayman can pull that off probably right- wksgskgd so in that case he'll of course treat me really well to earn my loyalty and trust (and I'll be terrified and latch on to that let's be real) and we'll just fall naturally 👉👈 we might both also fall very quickly but I'm still trying to figure that out, need more personality details on him

2) dragon, like Veldora. So big strong intense and have a human form where I'm still my actual height (5'5" lol) but I get my horns and tail and optionally wings/claws. We would meet because he's been trying to forge an alliance with me and I just keep being like meh. This needs more thought but the point is. Things will heat up once I rescue him from certain death (since I saw he does die so ekevsjdhf fuck canon, other si saves him too but anyway) and am like "You're part of my hoard now cause I had to save your ass" (very tsun dragon). He's both a little scared and also nervous and excited all at once ekegdkdjf we will uh end up talking it out

All of this pending learning more about him and making sure it all still vibes but. I'm attached to both si ideas so 👉👈

Perhaps they ought not to have eaten the dragon. There had been people objecting to it at the time. Surely such meat was poisonous. Perhaps it was even an affront, an insult to some intangible order of nature they ought to honour.

But the city was starving, the siege had gone on too long, and the king's troops were still a week's march away. The scorched earth would be fertile again in time, but right now it was barren. Right now there were mouths to feed. So they changed their crossbows for butcher knives and got to work.

None of the royal commanders asked any questions that could not be answered. After all, their aid had come shamefully late. The dragon's horned skull made a noble gift, a fitting tribute from a triumphant city to its humbled king. Who would have thought to question them?

And none of the townsfolk spoke up, when the first golden-eyed babes were born. Children who grew up barefoot and fearless, clambering over the city's patched and rebuilt roofs like they had no notion of falling, with a strange glitter to their skin when the sunlight hit it just so. No one breathed a word about dragons.

Because soon enough there were deft, young hands taking loaves straight out of the oven, heedlessly lifting iron from the forge, plunging into boiling laundry water. And some of them more wondrous still, wild, warm-skinned youths, with inexplicable knowledge and peculiar remedies.

A blessing, their families said proudly. A blessing after so much hardship. Which it was, in its way. This city would never fear dragon fire again.

Damsel is such a good film. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Seeing the Queen be the ring leader in all of this was so heart breaking, and it makes me wonder if she knew the real history with the Dragon and if that would have changed anything she did. Either way, she’s a woman destroying other women to save herself all because of what a man did centuries prior. I can’t put into words what this makes me feel but damn.

Elodie seeing the Dragon’s pain and choosing to not kill her, but instead give her the chance to avenge her babies was also just *chefs kiss* I love women

25 OC Questions

☀️ What makes your OC genuinely happy? A person, an item, their hobby? Where is the place they’re happiest, or most at home? What is the happiest they’ve ever been?

You know, this is a really tough question. True Dragons have tremendous lifespans. I think they enjoy seeing interesting and unexpected things in the world. After so much time of observing, and rarely taking part (intentionally), these sorts of things are quite narrow.

Some examples of things that have made them happy:

Clayman making scones for them (that was surprising that he did that, and even MORE surprising that they were good-)

Expanding their hoard with intriguing items

Depositing an item from their hoard into the hands of someone interesting and seeing the fallout of that

the rare occasion they actually indulge in a fight. Unlike Veldora, they don't think they're invincible but they may as well be. There's very little concept that they might lose.

Also eventually cuddling with Clayman, Void is touch starved fkjd

🌙 If your OC could have one wish come true what would it be and why? Would there be consequences to this wish or would they regret it once they get what they want? What would they give in return for this wish to come true?

THIS IS EVEN TRICKIER. I think they want a reason to participate more in this world. As much as they enjoy their largely solitary life, there is an itch in the back of their mind to have more purpose.

They aren't willing to give up much for this though - they could inject themselves into the world at any point and they simply don't. In fact, even though they sort of want a reason, they also sort of don't.

I'm sure as I flesh them out more I'll something better...oh, I do think they also want a friend. But that friend needs to be on their level. There will be Clayman, though he's not quite on their level. Only their siblings are - and fuck their siblings, they aren't into that. They would be willing to give away a bit of their power for this - powerful individuals can name monsters and that makes them significantly stronger, especially if they were named by someone as powerful as Void (and they can't name Clayman really but they can create a last name to share with him which will also enable them to give him some of their magicules, to my understanding!).

I think it's lonely at the top, particularly when power for power's sake isn't your thing.

💎 Does your OC collect anything? Is there a reason? When did they start and is it beginning to turn into a little bit of a hoarding issue? What do they do with their collection?

Void is a True Dragon, known as "The Spatial Dragon". What I mean by this is, their domain is space, as in extradimensional pockets, impenetrable barriers, impossible geometry...that sort of thing. And they have a massive extradimensional pocket that they call home when they want to slip away from the real world. And that is where they store their hoard.

It is full of random ass crap. They are stupidly sentimental (hi) even though they refuse to admit it (tsun si). They are particularly interested in interesting magical items, though unless there's a lot of sentiment associated with it, they'll probably end up popping out to hand it over to some lesser being at an interesting time (not directly handing it over but ensuring it ends up in their hands).

It's all a way to stave off the boredom of such a long life. Mostly they like to look at it.

They cough eventually tell Clayman he's part of their hoard now :p and will bring him to the extradimensional space. Largely to show off. kfhdkjsahfksa

The Historian and the Former Show Host

I've been obsessing over Rayman/Ramon for the past few weeks and let me tell you that this character is an absolute enigma if you know his history.

Falling into the modern girl in thedas rabbit hole again lol.

I want to do a human girl(?)/solas thing. She’s not important to the inquisition, and mostly works as a seamstress, and occasionally as a cook.

she’s highly aloof. I want her to be a foil to solas because she’s so distant from the other people. I personaly think that being stuck in a medieval level world would be unbearable, and I’d have trouble relating to the humans who live like that. I want her highly educated. She’s forgotten more than most people ever knew in the modern world. Putting her among people without even a third grade level education is…. So. She’s bored and she can’t really see the people around her as people and she’s trapped in filthy circumstances and have I mentioned that she’s bored???? It’s be hell to go from a world of constant stimulation to can’t do shit after sunset because it’s too dark.

Anyway she doesn’t really deal with anyone important until the journey to sky hold when she and solas fall together naturally as the quiet kids lol. She’s bored and in pain and can’t even find yarn to keep herself busy so she starts asking solas questions because hey even if he sees her little more than an animal, she sees him as a mildly interesting video game character so it’s like. A perfect match lol.

I also keep using she but I’m pretty sure she’s non binary in my head. Also a mage who learns to shapeshift because magics the one thing she doesn’t already know a lot about. She shifts gender and races and into animals. Anything she can. I think I’ll call her Mouse because she’s so quiet and no one actually knows her real name.

A scene: solas and mouse in skyhold are chilling together in scilence. He’s sketching her something and she’s knitting. Sometimes she sings to herself while she knits, because she’s so used to working to music that the silence gets oppressive sometimes. The song is definitely Follow you into the dark by death cab for cutie.

“Love of mine, some day you will die, but I’ll be close behind, I’ll follow you into the dark —“

But then she cuts herself off because solas has dropped his book, staring at her even paler than normal because: Oh.

This human is mortal. One day she’ll die. All that raw intelligence, all that quiet strength, all that deep contemplation would one day be no more than dust.

Solas leaves without saying anything to her. He has to fix this.
