So this post is gunna be about Vampire!Eric Draven x Reader !

Vampire!Eric Draven who writes poetry about you and for you. whether it’s about how much he loves you, or how beautiful you look under the moonlight. anything that comes to mind when he thinks about you, he is writing down on paper and giving it to you once he’s done or he's putting them in a pile full of other his poetry he has written for you but didn't gift.

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven who feels bad when you give yourself up to him for when he is in need of blood. He hates hurting you in any way and will always feels guilty when he does do it, even after you say how it’s completely okay and you’re fine with it.

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven who when is done feeding on you, would patch any wounds up he might have left on you. he would hug and cuddle you and tell you how amazing and lovely you are as he kisses your patched up scars.

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven who would give you nicknames such as love, dove, my rose, angel…

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven who is overly clingy towards you, but it’s not like you mind at all.

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven who stalks you at night when you’re at walking around or doing anything outside of your guy's shared apartment. He doesn't tell he does this; he just wants to make sure nobody is going to hurt you.

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven who watches you sleep at night since he isn't tired from sleeping all day. He admires your beauty from the one lit candle he has in the room and is astonished by how or why you chose him out of any other good-looking guys.

𖤐 . . Speaking of sleep.. Vampire!Eric Draven who will see you randomly taking a nap on the couch or bed and would just sit there and just stare admire you. He could do this for hours and hours on end and wouldn't get even the slightest bit of boredom.

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven who is like an actual crow. He would randomly give you things that reminded himself of you like roses, or just any cute looking trinkets he finds laying on the ground when he's out patrolling the night.

Vampire!Eric Draven who when gifting you roses, would cut the thorns off of it first before handing it to you because he's scared that if you prick yourself on one of those thorns and smell the blood running down from your wound, he doesn't know if he could handle himself with the smell of your sweet... delicious... tasty... blood...

𖤐 . . Vampire!Eric Draven when you do accidently get pricked by something, would walk up to you and try to contain himself. He would ask if you're alright, but you can see the hunger in his eyes when he looks down at your freshly cut wound. After noticing this, you would ask him if he wants some of your blood but he's hesitant (as always) but gives in once he knows your 100% fine with it.

Eric Draven makes love to you like an animal. You ignite a fire in him, an uncontrollable passion. he just loses himself with you. you could be doing anything, taking a bubblebath, making pancakes, hanging up a photo, getting way too invested in trash reality tv, waiting for your nails to dry, and that's all it takes to set him off. you catch him looking at you, lovingly and fondly like he so often does. then you see the exact moment it shifts to something else. something that makes your stomach twist. he walks closer to you, gets closer to you, close enough to smell you. there's nothing slow or casual about it, it's like if he can't taste you, hold your body in his arms, smell your skin and your hair right now he'll die.

he gets withdrawls from you when he's on tour with the band or off cleansing the city and righting wrongs. he rushes home to you as fast as he can and he takes you in his arms and kisses you, tongue in your mouth like he's relieved. like you don't just numb his pain, you make him feel good. really, really good. being around you makes him feel good. he's so big and strong that no matter how big or strong or not big and strong you might be, you feel so safe in his arms.

his lips are all over you. everywhere. they're hot and wet and feel so good on your lips, your skin. he picks you up like it's nothing because he can't stand for any space to be between you. he would live inside you, with your bare skin on his if he could. his breathing is heavy and there's this light, this desire and passion in his eyes that you would be a little afraid of if it was someone else. then again, you don't think anyone else could look at you like Eric does. He looks at you like he worships you. like he knows you more intimately than anyone ever could. and he wants to. Eric gets pleasure from your pleasure. you lose all sense of time, of reality, of everything besides his lips and hands and cock touching everywhere you could want. his breath is hot against your skin and his hair is soft and damp from the detroit rain. he smells a little like rain too. like rain and that masculine musky sweat that makes you dizzy and like your arousal on his tongue and lips, dripping down his face. he holds you so tight, and with each thrust, each burst of pleasure, each kiss and breath and look, each feeling of his skin on yours, you know that not even death itself could stop your Eric from coming home to you.

The gate-keepy mentality of some fandoms I truly do not understand. You’d think they’d be welcoming of anything that introduces more people to the content.

I get not being thrilled about a “reboot”, since it seems like that’s all the movie industry is pumping out these days. But wow.

For example, I’m a huge fan of “Jaws” and “Silence of the Lambs”, both cinematic masterpieces in their own right. Do either of them need a reboot? Absolutely not, and I would admittedly be very skeptical about any reimagining of these movies that are already damn near perfect as they are.

However… I can tell you with 100% certainty that I would absolutely give them a chance, bc I LOVE those stories, and I’m here for any kind of adaptation of them. I’m excited to see the source material still being explored and introduced to new generations. That’s what keeps these stories alive.

And if new adaptations end up being something I don’t like, fine; it’s not the end of the world, and the OG’s still exist. New adaptations of things don’t eradicate or devalue the previous ones in any way; they just present them with a different vision in mind.

You’re allowed to love them, you’re allowed to hate them; for real, you are! But spreading a smear campaign and excessively pissing all over something just bc it’s different than what you’re used to or not what you think it should be is beyond ridiculous. Just like you’re allowed to hate it, others are allowed to enjoy it.

We all know what and whom I’m referring to here, so I’m gonna end with this:

If y’all just need a hug or something, it’s okay. I’ll give you one! But just relax and let people enjoy “The Crow”.

It’s totally allowed to not be your cup of tea, but for those of us whose cup of tea it is? We’d really like to have our tea free of piss, please.
