CHAPTER 16 OF DRDT SPOILERS (My thoughts are all scattered so some just a warning)

⬆️Wow the parallels are crazy, Arturo bullies a short person once and now a stronger short person does the same thing to him but without the scalpel and more sexual tension (not for Arturo but Levi).

->Also this episode was fucking and probably one of my favorites besides the fact that Ace died it is still top 1.

->Chapter 3 is going to be a shit show episode 1 that’s going to be so funny to think about.

⬇️Also the new Whit sprite was wild and a little concerning… it’s his first actual sprite that shows some genuine fear.

Bitch was only scared when the elevator was locked, not for: Levi getting shot, Mins Execution, Arei’s Death, Aces upcoming execution (actually scratch that because nobody but Teruko fucking cared maybe Levi did, but he was so passed out), Xander’s Death, and literally anything that has to do with not Charles (who is 100% cooked next chapter)

⬆️Ace… baby… I’m so sorry, I need a bonus episode or a MV of him. And a 3rd? Since it says “going” in this case he had 2 deaths on his hands and is going to have a 3rd [being Levi]. I am going to assume be blames himself for Taylor’s death. Who we now know is officially dead

that execution though was fucking peak

ace stated himself multiple times that he was scared of dying. so the fact that his execution revolves around the fear of death itself and the ways people have died? i genuinely would never have thought of that omg

and i know the ending might be underwhelming to some but hear me out. ace had to confront his worst fear. multiple times. not being sure if this method would be his last. it didn’t matter that the guns used in the death by execution were a fluke, the stress of enduring all of that killed him.

and in a way, it’s kind of poignant. ace never actually died by any of the “deaths”. he died because he was so scared. in a way, he died a coward. and that’s how he’ll be remembered.

For any Killer!Eden believers reading this PLEASE tell me what reason this girl would have to kill somebody, (especially Arei who she seemed to be getting on good terms with) because I am utterly failing to see it.

Not saying y’all are wrong and dumb for thinking she’s the culprit. I read some of y’all’s posts and I applaud the effort. I just need further elaboration on why.

I’ve seen people say it has something to do her secret and wanting to escape, but like… I just can’t see it. Maybe it’s because I spoiled the official games for myself before I really got into the series so the “nicer” characters that ended up killing didn’t click as much with me. If someone could give me an explanation I’d really appreciate it.

SPOILERS FOR DRDT CH 2 EPISODE 15

I didn't care about Ace at first, I found him annoying and I hated the constant screaming and I'll be honest, at first I felt happy he was going to go, but then I realised how beautiful and tragic his character is.

He's constantly outcasted for his personality to the point he's extra aggressive almost as a front it seems, considering how he calmed down a lot at the end, but he always pushes people further away. But when Nico tried to kill him, Ace realised that the others weren't just annoyed by him but were actually malicious towards him, even if only Nico tried to kill him, in his eyes everyone wanted to kill him.

Ace was desperate to survive by any means, yes he was selfish but he was human and he was scared, and now in his fight to stay alive he's going to die.

Ace is going to die knowing the only person who he thought ever gave a crap about him secretly never cared at all.

Ace is going to die knowing that his only defence in the eyes of the cast was that he was stupid and that they all thought so little of him.

Ace is going to die alone and terrified knowing that everyone hated him and is glad to see him go.

Ace Markey, I didn't like you. I used to hate you even, but now I see that you're just human. Humans can be annoying and loud and so so selfish but they're still human.

I'm going to miss Ace.
