hi ryen! dropping by to tell you that i know exactly what you're feeling, that to think that no one would notice me being gone is my personal devil that i'm still trying to fight against; and while i'm not sure why someone as wonderful as you are would ever feel that way, i hope you at least know you're not alone here and you have tons of people who appreciate your wonderful being here ♥

i'm a creator too, if i'm to be honest, and as much as i appreciate feedbacks, i also find that as a reader, i'd be giddy about leaving feedbacks on stuff i genuinely enjoy because i know how happy i am when i read people's thoughts on something that I create. That said, due to this and that, i'm not always able to do so despite of how much i actually enjoy people's works--what i'm trying to say is, i don't open tumblr a lot these days, and i'm not the type of person who scrolls through someone's blog (creators or not), if i miss something, i miss something. but i'd often wander to yours because i find it comforting and it feels safe. i hope it means something to you and i truly wish you'd get rid of those self doubts sooner than later ♥

you're so sweet to reach out regardless, especially if you're not in the best of moods. that means a lot and i appreciate you as a friend as well as a fellow creator and reader. i guess my brain is being extra mean lately. like.. i've even been so worried that y'all would leave if i'm not creating or posting or answering feedback/asks on the regular like i have been. and i know that's dumb!! like i know that. but it's still a nagging thought and something that's made me sit in quiet pain many nights.

SEMI FINALS ANALYSIS: UPSET?

Round 4 of voting has concluded, which means we are on to the finals, and goodness gracious has this been close! Let's start with the less suprising events.

Eri was the victor of Eri vs Plumeria! She had a pretty consistent lead, and I can't say I'm suprised given how much more built she is (and her clear motive, given the defeat of the rest of team star). Plumeria has given a good fight, but Eri was the number 3 seed for good reason! (Above Plumeria, who was number 4). A good battle!

And now Matt and Courtney. Matt seemed a shoe-in victor, as the number 1 seed, and can you blame us in that assumption? Look at him, he's huge. And yet! And yet... He and Courtney have spent the entire day-long voting period closely tied, on many occasions being exactly 50/50, or having one vote in it. Courtney's victory is slim, with only two or three votes in it. It's an upset! A huge upset! But if anyone could beat Matt then I do think it is Courtney. They both have motive. They're counterparts, both incredibly loyal to their respective leader. In the ultimate battle between Aqua and Magma, it looks like Magma has come out on top. After all, Courtney is the one who threatens to kill the player character out of these two (if I remember correctly anyway). She has that capacity for violence. And I'm proud of her!

And so this sees the elimination of two more evil teams, Team Skull and Team Aqua. A great fight was put up by both. They got very far.

This leaves just Eri and Courtney in the finals. Teenage Delinquent vs Slightly Unhinged Scientst. Star vs Magma. I cannot for the life of me call this.

May the best Admin win.

this is kind of cheating for an art trademark but the life you bring to characters is just so so characteristic of your art. you also have a very specific and very pleasing type of lineart but the life you imbue into every piece is what i think of first

OUGH... That is so so lovley to hear. I worry a lot that my art is stiff or lifeless so it is nice to hear that it is not :3

Also the lineart thing is just me being fast and a little imprecise about it dslkjds. cheating will get you everywhere.

I = impression [what’s their first impression do they give off to their partner? how does it change over time?]

✧ iwaizumi's got a strong presence, and he doesn’t mince his words. that tends to intimidate most people, and i feel like his partner would be no exception. depending on the context, he gives off the vibe that he shouldn’t be messed with, and that he’s the most competent person in the room. but there’s always something that draw people to him. he seems dependable - like someone you can trust and rely on. 

✧ finding out just how caring he can be was a pleasant surprise, and likely the thing that made his partner fall in love with him. seeing him make an active effort to be more vulnerable and gentle when in a relationship is enough to deepen any affection his partner already had for him. he wants to do right by his partner and he really puts in the effort to do so; even if it’s a bit of a learning curve for him. oh, and his partner couldn’t help be be charmed when they found out that he loved monsters of all things,,, bless

✧ iwa is a slow-burn type of guy. he probably wouldn’t even realise he was in love for a long time; he’s just not used to that sort of vulnerability. he knows what it’s like to be interested in people (and those people usually have eyes for oikawa), but love,,, that’s a whole different ball game. and it frightens him a little, at first - he’s used to being in control of his emotions, on keeping things inside. being struck with something so intense, something he wants to externalise,,, he just doesn’t know what to do. 

✧ because it takes him forever to realise that he even has feelings for someone, iwaizumi’s also a bit slow when it comes to getting into a relationship. it’s mainly because he doesn’t really know how to contend with these sorts of feelings, so he has absolutely no idea how to even approach a confession. but he also has to be absolutely sure that he wants to; he doesn’t want to break someone’s heart because he was too thoughtless. he takes every initial step very carefully, and he always seems a bit stressed until he gets into the rhythm of it.

✧ look, it probably takes him damn well near a year to say ‘i love you’. he’s used to being gruff, showing ‘tough love’ to oikawa and the like. being so... soft, so vulnerable isn’t natural for him. and, since he’s very careful during all those early steps in the relationship, he wants to save those words. although, he likely says it by accident, in a quiet moment when he’s overwhelmed by fondness for his partner. but it’s honest, and that’s what truly matters. 

U = unbearable [what habit do they have that’s unbearable?]

✧ obnoxiously early riser. and he doesn’t let his partner sleep in, either. he’ll rip the blankets off the bed if he has to. how else are they supposed to get the most out of their day?? if possible, he also tends to drag is partner outside to go on a morning run with him. puppy dog eyes do not work on him.
