Good morning/afternoon/night to whoever may be reading this! It's late but I feel like writing stuff, so here we go :)

JLPT: I did the JLPT/日本語能力試験 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) on Sunday for the N5 level for the first time :D Honestly, I feel like I went well (my main concerns were my phone ringing out of the blue, even though I had turned it off nicely and it was in silent mode, and not being able to hear the audio part, but thankfully everything went well) and I really hope to pass. If I do, I'll probably start studying for N4 as soon as possible (though I don't think I'll be prepared enough to do the December test already), but let's see how it goes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've never been so excited during a test before lol

MOVIESSSSS: I surprisingly woke up early today and chose to not be a lazy bum who watches youtube shorts on her bed for like 2 hours, so I decided to watch some movies! (yippeeee) :D I started out by watching Little Darlings, which I really liked. The story was pretty interesting, the main leads had believable acting (which is hella important), and shaggy hair Matt Dillon my beloved was there (which is even more important). Kinda unrelated but I feel like his shaggy hair era is a bit forgotten :( Idk, I just find more about his Outsiders era and nowadays on here and pinterest, so that's kinda the impression I get from the fandom/fanbase (Idk if I should call it that). Anyways, it was funny and emotional at the right times (and Randy was adorable), so I'd give it an 8/10. I then watched Juno, which has been on my watchlist for a pretty long time, and I loved it :3 It was better than I expected (though I did not expect to see Dwight's actor and Spiderman's J. J. Jameson's actor there lol), and the ending scene made me squeal as if I were watching a cute cat video. Solid 10/10. Finally, I watched Liar's Moon. It was pretty good ngl, (Matt looked so handsome wtf) but the whole possible incest plot twist thing was hella weird, so I'd give it a 7.5/10. Feel free to give me any movie suggestions :) (especially if Matt Dillon is in it lol)

The Outsiders on roblox: Idk if any of y'all play roblox, but I do (been using the same account from 7 years ago lol, it holds many memories) and I thought of searching ''the outsiders'' on it to see if there were any games ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and so there's these two(?) games, but only one of them is mainly played by roleplayers n stuff. So a few weeks ago, I remember going there and always seeing the same two Ponyboy and Johnny roleplayers (I even remember talking to a girl who wasn't roleplaying and she was pissed that people shipped the greasers together lol), and like, they were ALWAYS on there. I'd log in at 7am, then like 9pm of THE SAME DAY and they'd be there. I also tested this on multiple days. And just them yk, not even a Dally or TwoBit to be there too, and even now when I don't see them that often in game, I always ask myself ''are they gonna be there?'' lol Also, I've also played the Cherry Valance obby (not bad), and the beginning of the obby mentions it's based on the Darry obby, which I haven't been able to find, so if anyone has the link, please lmk :3

I am both kind of glad she didn't like. Spiral into thoughts or more realization of what exactly she's done to these people. But also not, because I love angst. So. Questions. Will she ever meet the other survivors? What will their interactions be like? Who do you think she gets along with most? Will she meet any other killers? (probs introduced by other survivors??) And also. A painful one but. Does the entity realize she's lying? Do you think you'll continue this story in anyway?

Haha, I feel that. Adiris certainly will hit that horror realization more completely than she did during her breakdown in the archives room. I think because of her realizations of both what she’s done and just how much danger she and they and everybody upstairs depending on her is in suddenly because of the truth, happening at the same, she had a whole lot of fear and anger in play (I was used and hurt and manipulated and lied to and made to suffer, whatever you[Not Nergal/Entity] are, you have been doing horrible stuff to innocent people for no good reason, my people have also been manipulated and lied to and forced to suffer, oh Gods what happens to us if he knows I know? What can I do to save my people and myself and these foreigners? Can I do anything?) and I think the immediacy of the parts of that she had to act on hit so hard it was her core focus, but next time she either is in a trial and has to method act through hunting down people she now knows are not murderers and infidels, or the first time she’s in a safer and more calm setting with the survivors and one of them mentions something, that will all uhhh, it’ll hit home. I’m sure. God, this poor woman.

Okay! For the questions.

“Will she ever meet the other survivors?”

Yes. Definitely, and all of them.

“What will those interactions be like?”

It’s hard to say since I haven’t written that yet, but probably exceedingly awkward. I think there’s a lot of inherent fear from them towards her, and like, how would you feel talking with someone you used to murder a lot because you thought they were the enemy? Nnnmnnnnn probably not great! TuT which is how she gon be feeling. I think she is very aware she’s coming from a place of power, and is also still super used to thinking of herself as a priestess/holy/kind of removed, so she’ll try to approach it like that. Reassuring, and thoughtful/careful to not be scary or threatening, but also in control and a little aloof. And probably after a little time with the survivors, who will all go from “Scary. D:” to “A curiosity but in a good way. Weird. Neat. Still kinda spooky.” to “I like her : )” and thinking of her the way they would any normal human (the normal version of the fkn speedrun Quentin & Dwight went through), she’ll have to adjust to being treated like a normal person, and the way 21st century humans act when they’re being casual and friendly—which honestly, not too different from being friendly throughout history, but sadly either way not something this girl is used to. I think it’ll be weird and she’ll be nervous to try shifting identities from one of the only two things she’s ever known how to be, and into normal human and friend, but that it’ll also be really welcome. Because she has literally never gotten to have a family or a normal life or a friend or any single goddamn healthy or even decent relationship with another living human being. And like, god, humans need that. On a DNA level—We die in isolation. And she hasn’t been “isolated,” but she’s been mostly isolated her whole life, and she sure as hell has never ever gotten to belong or have any kind of certainty or permanence in her relationship, even her spiritual ones. She needs that. She just needs someone to look at her, go: “There’s a human being right there, and I see who she is, and I think she’s very worthwhile. I would like to keep her in my life.” God, she needs that so, so badly. I don’t think she knows it, but she really, really, desperately does.

And she deserves it, too. None of the abandonments or alienations or failures in her life are things she did wrong. But when that kind of thing keeps happening to a person, it sure as hell makes them feel like it. So, haha, sorry, got carried away (the name of my memoir probably >.>). But I think she’d be awkward, and confused, and then nervous, because she’d be invited into something she has literally never had, doesn’t know how to do right, but also desperately wants without fully understanding, which is a terrifying combination to work with socially. But then deeply impacted and happy and moved. Also afraid—I mean, girl smiled without doing it on purpose one time and flipped out emotionally with no idea why, because every time she has felt attachment or sought belonging or thought she had it her whole life, she’s been routinely betrayed and abandoned. She’s a lot more than once burned. But after the initial fear, she would be a mixture of happy and very awkward, and then eventually hopefully just exceedingly happy and also proud of herself and confident. I listened to I’m Still Here from Treasure Planet a lot while writing Adiris. Like, a lot.

“Who do you think she gets along with most?”

Hmmm, well, Dwight and Quentin I think will always be special to her after the day in the temple. Claudette is a sweetie who will definitely try to help alleviate sickness symptoms and be maybe the single least afraid to touch her of all the survivors, and that can’t help but be meaningful. Meg & she have a lot of complimentary similar personality traits, Jeff is super kind & also a great artist so he’ll probably be group interpreter & she’ll be around him a lot, and since Tapp is 2 and 0 so far on drawing bullet barrel in friend luck Russian roulette and keeps befriending women with absentee fathers, I can only assume that means she will end up close with Tapp as well. It’s too funny for him not to be 3 & 0. The world itself demands it. Beyond that, I’d have to write interactions and see how they fall. 👈👈😎 (Also a large part of how she feels about Meg & maybe also Ace, possibly Nea too, maybe even Feng, will come down to how she feels about being flirted with shamelessly. F in the chat for my poor confused ancient Mesopotamian. 😔)

Yes, definitely. And it will be very interesting to me to see that.

“Does the Entity’s realize she’s lying?”

No. It absolutely does not. Queen method acted hard enough to give herself trauma—the first person experience thoughts and narrative are what she lived, and luckily the Entity is an emotion sponge, not a mind reader. It may or may not have been aware Quentin & Dwight were in the room (legit just depends on if it decided to/thought to look, which I don’t know, because I didn’t need to to write the scene & it be like that sometimes, but regardless of if it did, the outcome is basically unchanged. Either it didn’t look because Adiris clearly wasn’t lying, from its POV, as she felt nothing but what she exhibited outwardly as well. Or it did look for them, saw they were under there, and thought nothing of it because it lined up with her story. She said they ran off. Wouldn’t be weird for them to go to the Archives to try to steal information, or hide, or even just get lost. And it had no reason to expose them if it did see, because if it had dragged them out, it would have had to do something Adiris would understand to them, and it’s really just easier to give itself time to figure out in what way to do its “Nergal the God” aftermath, than to do it right in the room on the spot. TLDR: No, it has no clue. She method acted the fuck out of that situation, and there was nothing weird to sense, so it didn’t. Queen out-bullshitted the Entity.

“Will you continue the story in any way?”

Harder question. Probably? Likely? Maybe? Hard to say. I would love to, but I also have four, five other stories right now? Ever since I made a dumb Fate joke about having four multipath AUs, my brain has been trying to convince me to adapt New Dawn Fades, From the Earth of No Return, and some fourth, as yet unchosen story, into full length monsters. But I might die. Like, y’all, ILM is a hunk of book. If I recall correctly from back when I saw my word count, got nervous, and looked stuff up, if I published a physical single volume copy of ILM, it would become the longest single volume book ever published in a physical single book form. Which I both kinda want to do now just for the knowledge of it, but also!!! That’s SO much, like, I don’t even know how that happened. Like I am immensely proud, but also kinda like wtf? Did I drug me?? And also mostly just because rip @ me that the longest work I have written is a fic I /can’t/ ever publish or include in a resume or reel or anything. :’-](Also, @ the speed readers who did ILM in under two weeks, HOW? And please teach me your absolutely terrifying powers). I don’t plan, even if I do full length stuff again, to make another ILM length one or something. But even then, full length is big! (Also I live in fear of saying this to myself, trying to write, and becoming:

Like u have no idea rip lol.) It takes a whole bunch of time to do books, and like, I do fic books because I love it! Like SO much. It has and does bring me great joy. But, it can get a liiiittle daunting too. It eats up most of my free time to all my free time, if I get super into it.

So yes, I would really like to adapt it further. I have the barest of bones for an outline, I even have two possible endings already envisioned and several major events more fleshed out! : D But if I do write more long-form full novels for DbD, even in more manageable sizes than their forebearer, I’d try to do them in the order I began. Which means Signifying Nothing—the prequel to ILM about Philip’s time with Vigo, Alex, & Benedict (which is a will do, not if), then New Dawn Fades (the ongoing fic I have on AO3 centered around Joey & Quentin’s relationship), then From the Earth of No Return. Which for the record, my soul very much wants to adapt. Every time I hear Brave Shine now, I see cool TV show opens for it in my head. TuT But I guess the best I can say is, “We’ll see”? Since fics aren’t like my paying job or smth, it depends largely on my personal & work life & how much time I have to devote to for-passion writing. So, I guess the short answer is I’d love to, and I hope to, I’d even say I think I intend to sometime, but I’m not completely certain I’ll be able.

He’s very hesitant about the weed use, and does think you use a little too much. Just explain to him the benefits and how it’s not actually as harmful as he thinks it is. Please don’t pressure him to try either.

Will approach you after a while and ask to try. Ease him into it. He likes how stress free it makes him feel. Down to vibe with you from then on.

He plays sims too. Obsessively. You catch him hunched over a laptop and ask him what he’s doing. He hides the screen. You pry it from him. He was taking sim!you on a date. 

You play together now. Obviously you can’t play together, but you sit by each other and go about your sim lives. You look up from your screen and, “Dwight, you peed on the floor again,” and he gives you a look and says “well maybe if you paid the plumber, I wouldn’t have to do that.” 

“Goddamnit you died again,” he says to you. You look at him. “Are you not taking care of me?” And he throws up his hands and “I can’t take care of you if you keep setting fire to the kitchen! Now I have to go back to my save and make you pick up a damn cooking book!”

Honestly you talk about your sims selves as if they are you. You’re dorks. It’s adorable. And when one of your other friends hear you telling him off for pissing himself on the lawn, they’re very concerned.

Definitely takes weed with you. 100%. Y’all can just chill and vibe. 

You both talk about a bunch of vague topics. Sometimes y’all just giggle together. It’s nice. It relieves a lot of stress, and Nea is often not as chilled as people thinks she is. She enjoys the time to separate the stress from her life and just… Enjoy existing with you. 

“Yo, you made me yet?” She says as she leans over to watch you play sims on your laptop. You point her out, “yeah, we’re married,” you tell her. She nods and smirks, “sweet.” 

“Can we get a cat?” She says as she watches your game. You pick out a cat together. She demands you name is Kicks, and refuses to tell you why. You name it kicks. Nea doesn’t play sims herself, but she does frequently ask how married life is. And how Kicks is doing. “Did you remember to feed him?” She says on the morning, and you have to remind her that he’s virtual and will not starve if you haven’t opened the game.

“Nea, the mailman is hitting on you,” you tell her, pouting. She peers at the screen. “Kill him, there can only be room for one boo. And it’s you.” 

You find her playing on it one day. She admits she’s adopted 7 cats while you were gone and now she’s ran out of money and your furniture keeps being taken away.

-how Rick dies is like FTWD, I’m guessing. Based on one of those articles, Kang mentioned there’s play of time. It made me think of FTWD with how they did the death of Nick and Madison. So, maybe Rick dies before Maggie timeline-wise. I also wondered if in 9x01, fans will learn that Rick will die and we see how he dies in s9A. hmm I doubt it. I just think there’s a lot of parallels with TWD and FTWD killing their main characters. I also think maybe ...there’s mulitple time jumps. Like 9x01 is one year..and then time goes by fast and then ep 5 or 6, is another time jump of when Rick dies. 

----I really wanna know why 6 episodes for AL and LC. Weird amount of episodes. First half is 8 episodes. Unless writers want to have 2 episodes of something else in the first half. Or.. both wanna do the same deal..and one of them gotta leave certain time because of a different project, maybe. 

- I also don’t know for sure what the writers will do with Maggie. Like is LC really done with TWD or on a break? Well, I’m gonna assume Rick and Maggie will die. I don’t think LC would want to come back to TWD if the money thing goes to NR. I’m gonna assume Rick dies because blah writers.

----Looking at the script spoiler. I’m starting to like..doubt it? I mean I don’t think the spoiler is actually confirming Rick dies. So it’s just a rumor that Rick dies as others watch him in the middle of herd. The script could be some scene to something else. So, I don’t know for sure Rick dies in s9 or not. I hope he lives and goes missing (or Grimes go on a boat). But I doubt that. :\ I wish I know for sure ..now. But I’m assuming he dies anyways. ~wait and see.

-So since Rick dies around ep 5 or 6. I wonder what the msf will be like or s9B. I’m not so sure yet on the heads on pikes scene. Maybe they remix it. Maybe be like they show each character how they die from Alpha. Maybe none at all or happens in season finale. But yeah like what’s the conflict in s9A and B. So, I don’t think they’re gonna do the communities’ leaders die idea. Because we got spoilers of only Rick dying. But like Zeke could still die in msf like his comic death. I also kinda speculate that maybe TWD writers are filming and editing it different. Like maybe they film the the heads on pikes scene last but film Rick dying and saving Team family from the herd that Whisperers/Alpha sent out..or remix. Idk It may not be that because that’s like really rushing this whisperers arc. Anyways, just wait and see what s9B will be like.

-Oh Henry..wtf. So Macsen got braces and idk what it could mean for Henry in TWD if he can’t have braces there. Henry’s dead? Henry won’t talk much? Henry is missing (like Elodie and will be found in Commonwealth)? So if Henry’s dead then..what’s the point for Carol’s arc. omg. I guess I’m one of the few Carol fans, that think it’s really sucky if Carol lost Henry. I think ..it’s gonna always be Carol and Henry in the show. I think they’re gonna be like comic-Michonne and Elodie, imo. 

Maybe he won’t have braces that long. ......Maybe Macsen isn’t in s9/TWD anymore because of the time-jump. :B

King Ezekiel will chart a different path than his comic counterpart in Season 9. That’s not to say the show version will be completely different, but you will be in for some surprises.

I’m not sure what the answer means. But a lot of Zeke/C&E fans think he will live past the comic-death moment. Eh...then I don’t know how to speculate s9 and well Idk what Carol will do or be like. :\ But again it’s like wait and see for sure if Zeke lives on or not.

-no Dwight in s9A. ..I hope he is in s9B. I like this character. I kinda think he might be Beta some day. Anyways, in s8 finale, he got a good ending to his story. Idk why he’s banished but Eugene gets no punishment or so.

-June 29th, Lincoln left Georgia to NY. :[  Seems like he’s done with TWD. His beard is short. Fans speculate that cast are on holiday vacation and he can grow his beard long again in short time. Also ep 6 isn’t done filming(?). But I think he’s done-done. (I wonder why he gotta leave so quick.) I hope he appears in comic-con and yeah whole cast there and them being all cute. sigh.../I wish AMC lets everyone knows that he’s leaving the show.

what I noticed some cast members got hair changes too. Like Maggie, Enid, Cyndie(Oceanside), Rick-AL. I’m thinking there’s another time jump or these characters are dead too. (Enid maybe be in background.) Cyndie- actress is gonna be on another show. Idk much but I think she’s done with TWD too. So there’s that theory again with Communities’ leaders dying from Alphia/ heads on pikes. It’s like an easy way ..for writers to do. A lot of parallels..with leaders leaving the show. But I think Rick dies alone. So..I like that. I want Rick to have his own focus on the show. Idk I still hate all this. Rick :( Also, it could be Rick dies in ep 5/6 and then msf, other communities’ leaders die. Because what is s9′s conflict?...I like this theory I have and others thought of it too, they introduce whisperers and Alpha early in s9 so then Negan isn’t seen as the worst villain of the show and show his redemption. It makes sense storywise..based from the comics. I guess. This show is going so different from comics.

A/N: Warning: The smut begins

The next month passed with Lunea getting along with the wives. Her and Amber actually started a yoga group in the mornings and evenings. Negan brought Lunea on a few runs. One of which she found glasses she actually liked.

They even had a channel on the walkies so they could contact each other about inventory. Though it turned into them talking about the old days. Softball play offs and track meets.

One morning after her daily run around the complex, Lunea ran straight into Negan.

“Whoa there, Ribbons! Trying to take me down?”

Lunea was right up against his chest. She felt heat pool in her panties. Well that was new.

“Oh, sorry Coach! I was just thinking about what needed to get done in the warehouse today.” She blushed a light pink.

Negan laughed and lightly ran his hands down her arms before letting her go.

“Ya know, Doll, you may be the hardest working person I’ve met. Between morning and evening yoga, your morning runs, inventory, the warehouse and the occasional supply run how do you have any time for some human fucking fun?” He raised his eyebrow.

She blushed again, “I haven’t quite been thinking about ‘human fun’ since I ran from my group. Besides, I’ve yet to have someone catch my eye.”

“Well the first part is fucking understandable. But no one has lit a fucking fire in ya? That’s just fucking disappointing.”

Lunea shrugged, “I better hit the showers, Coach! I’ve still gotta eat breakfast before heading to the warehouse and checking on the construction. The guys will probably be done with the shelving by tonight. Tomorrow we can start moving everything back in.”

“Fucking amazing! I don’t think I have ever seen my men move so fast. They must be trying to fucking impress your panties off!”

“If it gets shit done, they can keep fucking trying. Not that it’s going to get them anywhere. See you later, Sir!”

With that she continued to her room. She grabbed her shower stuff and her robe and went to shower. Twenty minutes later she was heading back to her room in her robe with her hair wrapped in a towel. As she passed Negan’s office, he called out to her, “Hey, Ribbons! Come in here for a minute!”

She looked down at what she had on and took a deep breath before poking her head in.

“Um, can this wait like ten minutes until I get some clothes on?”

“Get the fuck in here!”

She tried rearranging things so she was as covered as she could be.

“What can I help you with?” She gulped as she realized he wasn’t alone. There were quite a few people in his office. Simon and Dwight of course and at least four men she didn’t know that well.

“Work will be fucking done by tonight and you will start loading tomorrow morning, correct?”

“That’s the plan. Then from now on someone will inventory at pick up, drop off, and stock. Once a week I will run a full inventory on the warehouse and compare the numbers. Anytime something leaves the warehouse it will be marked down. The kitchen and marketplace will submit sheets daily on what has moved as well. Within a month or two we will be able to see trends on what is in higher demand and not moving at all. We will be able to adjust points accordingly and fairly.”

“Well, shit, Ribbons! All that while standing here in a damn robe! See, boys? That is what the fuck I am fucking talking about! This woman right here made my fucking life simple in a damn month! And managed to sound smarter than all of you while fucking naked! Damn! That is fucking hot! Thanks, Lunea. Go get dressed and get to work. Fucking amazing!” Negan shook his head in wonder as the men around him glared at the woman walking out of the room. They didn’t like being shown up by the new chick.

Lunea got dressed and jogged down to grab a quick breakfast before heading to the warehouse. She decided to stick to yoga clothes today because she was going to be moving around so much.

By lunch they had finished with the painting, hours ahead of schedule.

“Great fucking job guys! Negan is going to be really happy with this! Go grab lunch quick and meet me back here in an hour!”

Lunea walked around the transformed warehouse taking it all in and double checking the work. She hammered a few extra nails in and tightened a few screws here and there. Her guys had really done an amazing job. There were shelving units lining the walls and constructed in rows. They were color coded and set with inventory sheets for each shelf.

“Hey, Boss! Are you busy right now?”

“Not at the moment, doll. You need me?”

“Yeah can you come down to the warehouse?”

“On my fucking way!”

Lunea stretched out her back and shoulders while waiting for Negan to arrive.

“Holy shit! This is fucking impressive! It’s done? They finished early? Fuck! Either they really want to impress you or can’t fucking stand you! I’m leaning more towards you are in their wet fucking dreams every night!”

Lunea spun around at the sound of his arrival.

“Isn’t it amazing? I can’t believe it! I’m so excited!”

“Come here,” Negan threw an arm around Lunea’s shoulders and pulled her next to him, “I’m fucking proud of you. Seriously. Why don’t you give your guys the rest of the day off with pay? I’m feeling fucking generous right now.”

“Really? That will get them all set for tomorrow! Tomorrow is going to suck for them. I’m going to be harder to please then you,” she joked.

“Now that I have got to fucking see!”

After Lunea released her team for the day she radioed to Negan that she was going to take a quick run around the complex and wouldn’t have her walkie for the next hour or so. She threw her walkie on her bed and left.

While on her second run of the day, she saw Negan talking with Simon and gave a small wave. He responded with a smile and a wink. She felt the same warmth from that morning, but worse. She needed to go take care of this, now!

She ran back to her room and stripped off her clothes. She threw herself on her bed and closed her eyes.

Slowly she ran her hands over her breasts, her nipples hardening almost immediately. She bit back a small moan. John Krasinski Has A Great ‘The Office’ Reunion Idea That Any Fan Will Love

Okay, so we all know that’s it’s been far too long since “The Office” parted ways with NBC. Yes, we can rewatch the show on Netflix about 100 times (just ask me, I have), but we still wish we could get some fresh Michael Scott jokes, new Dwight and Jim beef, and some more Stanley eye rolls. Since fans have become even more obsessed with “The Office” with streaming services than they were when the show aired in real time on NBC, the network has discussed a “reboot” with all new characters. But, fans haven’t really been in love with the idea of their favorite show without their favorite characters–and, can you blame them?

Steve Carell has had quite the career since playing Michael Scott on the show. Since the news broke back in late 2017 that the show was getting a reboot, we haven’t heard much about how and when. We did hear the news that there would be an entirely new cast. But, then we didn’t hear much about that, either. So, we’re left saying–WTF.

Thanks to John Krasinski constantly talking about it in interviews, we have a bit of something (we can always count on Jim, right?). In an interview, Krasinski said he would totally be down to do a reboot of the show, if NBC wanted him. YES. PLEASE.

But, he went one step further and said the entire cast should get together for a one-off reunion–basically, one episode where they all have a reunion and a “what’s everyone up to now” kind of thing. He told IndieWire:

“The U.K. thing that I have always pitched and wanted to do is that Christmas special thing, where we do a Christmas special this year and then two years from now, or three years from now, we do another one. I love that idea (of) coming back (and) finding out where everybody is. I would totally be down for that.”

A Christmas special with all the original cast? We’re already marking our calendars.

What I’m Watching (Part 1)

Vikings- I finally finished season four and learned I have a second half to get through before I’m fully caught up. Here’s my thoughts: I hate Rollo. Why would he betray his brother like that? I guess what he wanted was to be admired, or be the top dog, or be legendary. That didn’t happen while he was on Ragnar’s side. What a battle between them though! I’m looking forward to Bjorn’s adventures with Floki to the Mediterranean Sea. I’m also curious to see if any of Ragnar’s sons decide to take him out.

The Walking Dead- So, I’m in the minority when I say that I really like Eugene. I’m not pleased that he sided with Negan, but he is really embracing the “I am Negan” mentality and helping out quite a bit. However, it is hard to read him, which side he truly is on, but if I were Eugene, I’d probably side with Negan, because Negan actually appreciates all his hard work, his ideas, everything about Eugene. You never saw that level of respect from anyone in Rick’s crew for Eugene, with the exception of perhaps Abraham and a couple times with Rick. With that aside, I’m not sure I mentioned this before, but the two most emotional moments in the show for me so far this season have been the deaths of Shiva and Eric. Shiva’s death surely took everything out of our beloved King Ezekiel, and certainly upset me quite a bit, but I knew that death was approaching. Eric dying was really sad on several levels because Aaron actually didn’t get to fully say goodbye, but Eric knew it was the end for him. It’s also the only time in the show a gay couple actually got some form of closure as death approached. Tara never got that chance with Denise. Anyway, I’m drifting away from the subject here, so I’ll get back to it. Even though Eugene has pretty much embraced the villain role (or so we think), I’m a fan of him. His MacGuyver abilities, his unique way of talking, he really is one of the most interesting characters on the show. Also, I’d like to say I’m still not sold on the junkyard people. I don’t understand them, nor do I understand why Rick feels so determined to get them on his side. Maybe it’s to make good with the amount of guns he gave away to them? We’ll never know. I also wonder if the Oceanside will end up playing a role at some point in the season. One thing that bothers me about the midseason finale has been all the talk about someone major being killed off, and that someone major is Carl. Honestly, I don’t see them ever killing off Carl. There are a lot of clues out there pointing to him possibly dying, everything from a haircut for a movie role to Chandler Riggs going to College. I don’t think he’s going to die, and I’m thinking that if they do indeed commit to the time jump like I’m expecting, maybe this would be a perfect opportunity for TWD to switch out actors for someone who is a bit older, because I believe at this point in the comics, Carl has to be in his early twenties. The other possibilities of a major death could be that baby Judith somehow dies, or Daryl, or maybe this is the time in the show where Morgan leaves the group for Fear TWD. It’s really hard to figure it out. All I know is we are going to see some walker-tainted weapons, grenades thrown, and at least one major character will die, one will lose a leg, and I think Rick gets shot by Dwight. OH. WAIT. That might be the part they’re talking about. Fuck.

Dexter- S and I finally finished Dexter over the weekend. ::SPOILERS AHEAD:: Dexter has been planning with Hannah to go with Harrison and live the rest of their lives in Argentina. Deb hates the fact he’s leaving, and so far away. The US Marshall and Deb’s ex-boss have been chasing down Hannah, Dexter avenged his therapist’s death by her son by capturing him. Instead of killing him, he calls Deb in to arrest him. They both step out of the building with the killer strapped to a chair, and we see the US Marshall step in and instead the killer. He kills the Marshall, takes his gun, shoots Deb in the abdomen, and escapes, but shot in the arm by Deb. She calls for backup and an ambulance, they rush her to the hospital. Due to a hurricane and a suspicious package at the airport, Dexter, Harrison, and Hannah can’t leave Miami airport, so Hannah gets on a bus with Harrison and Dexter tells them he’ll meet up eventually with them as he just learned his sister was rushed to the hospital. He finds out who did it, they get the killer arrested, and within time, Dexter kills the guy in a weird manner with a pen. Not sure why I worded it that way, but whatever. He goes back to the hospital, finds that Deb’s condition worsened, so while everyone in the icu is all over the place, he takes all the equipment off her and takes her on his boat. By this time, she’s already dead, and he drops her in the water, then drives his boat into the storm. Cut to Hannah and Harrison in Argentina. Hannah just read the news about Dexter and holds back the tears. Next scene, we see a logging company, and it’s Dexter. All I can say after that is “Seriously?? You put me through eight seasons for it to end like that? Get bent.” And that’s putting it nicely. That finale was worse than the Seinfeld finale, and that’s my measurement of how bad a finale can be. I guess Dexter has just replaced it.

Broadchurch- This season was only eight episodes long, so I’ll run through it quickly. ::SPOILERS AHEAD:: Miller and Hardy have gone to a new town to investigate not a murder, but a rape. Like the previous seasons, they link the assault on several different people, all of whom look pretty guilty, just like before. I was amazed with who the rapist turned out to be, as I was expecting it to be the ex-husband. Nope. It was some kid who was forced into it. Really? That’s some dark shit, when you think of it. Makes me wonder if there will be a fourth season, because it’s a great show and I love Tennant more and more each time I watch a show or anything he’s in.

The Gifted/Punisher- I watched the first episode of The Gifted with S. I heard great things about the series and wondered if it held up in comparison to what I’ve seen of Legion. So far, I’m digging Polaris, and some of the other characters intrigue me. I watched about 15 minutes of the first episode of Punisher. I don’t think I’m ready for that show, I feel like you need to be in a specific mood to watch it.

Extra: So, with all the recent boom in comic book movies and tv shows occurring, this has awoken my interest in reading comics again. For the most part, I’ve been reading The Walking Dead since at least 2014. Most recently though, I decided that I wanted to take a stab at reading Preacher. This was right after I finished watching Season One. I finished book one, just started book two a day or two ago, and I have to say I’m drawn into it. There are a lot of WTF moments, and I’m amazed at how different it is in some aspects on the tv as opposed to the comic. Examples being Tulip being blonde and white in the comic, and she’s mixed race in the show. Jesse’s grandmother I think is coming up in season three, and they teased some of it in flashbacks. I don’t even think I’ve seen or recall anything about Eugene going to Hell. And I’m approaching the Humperdoo scene in the comics.

The other comic I just started is Doomsday Clock- the Watchmen/DC Crossover. It’s relatively new, so there isn’t much to say about it. I’m intrigued to see who all gets involved from DC. They’ve already introduced Superman/Clark Kent. I’d have to guarantee Batman and Wonder Woman make their way into it somehow. My manager was saying “I can’t wait to see Superman kick Dr. Manhattan’s ass.” I tried not to laugh though because I’m pretty certain Dr. Manhattan could lay waste to Superman without any trouble.

Anyway, it’s been real. I’ll have more to write about later.

You have those who don't give a damn whatsoever about saving anyone except for themselves, it's those people who during times of Crisis, cowardly run away from their moral responsibility...even if they are safe on higher ground!

Hate, Bigotry, and Racism don't disappear inside a Flood! The immorality of Politicos and the immorality of those "Good Christian Pastors" who 'suppose' to teach and practice Jesus' Corporal Works of Mercy; Feed the Hungry, Shelter the Homeless, Clothe the Naked, Visit the Sick, and so forth! That immorality between Politics and Religion goes hand in hand!

Like the Immoralities of Pastor Joel Osteen, who conveniently closed his massive facility to take in victims, citing his Church was flooded. A very ignorant excuse for a supposed smart man, knowing it wouldn't be too long before being Exposed by the Press...for the Sh*t of a human being, he really is! The Following day, after a 'Hurricane' of Criticism by Social Media and by the Press, nationwide...the Good Pastor opened his MegaChurch to victims. Was it his Guilty Conscience? or sudden empathy towards his fellow man?? Or was it his Heart, his natural love for helping People in distress?? Well? How about a noticeable financial loss in his Congregation, and even worse in his dirty greedy mind...a really bad hit on his "Ratings"!

The excuse, this sorry excuse of a Christian gave for Closing the Church? The City didn't ask me to open it up! WTF?? This man must have missed "Christianity" the day they taught it in Christian School!

WHY WAIT TILL SOMEONE ASKS?? Listen, Joel! You say you're a Man of God? Act like one!! And if you're supposedly sincere in your belief in God?...it's your absolute moral responsibility to go out, open your doors, Feed the Hungry, and Shelter the Homeless!! The problem? This Fake Christian has no Empathy and way too much Bigotry! This grifter is a Theological equal of Trump, in every way!! Now though, he can Pray, Confess, do all the Acts of Contrition he wants, and be "Re-Born Again" over and over!!...cause this little Boy, when it's time to meet his maker? Much was lost in the tragedy of Katrina, and it became a national embarrassment for the US Administration. Harvey is much more massive than Katrina ever was! and if you believe Trump's Magic Snake Oil remedies?...how Trump & Co. is going to fix up Texas, greater than ever? People, especially in Houston, should be reminded that their spineless President slashed the Federal National Flood Insurance program down his golden toilet!...not too long before the Flood!!

And to show America even more of his "Humility" and Compassion, this Bullshit Artist who promised Texas, the Greatest most Awesome re-building relief job in History...besides gutting Flood Insurance away from about 50-100,000 residents, he made FEMA Funding cuts, and cut $190 Million in funding the updates of Maps for Flood Prone Areas! $Millions$ which were also "reportedly" diverted from Texas' Flood Insurance to fund his damn wall!!! And to add to the nightmare…a toxic chemical gas plant explosion with toxic water merging into the flood. EPA? Nowhere in sight & very silent!

How more disgraceful and how much more dishonorable could a man who's the Leader of our Nation be with the American People?? Lying to the victims of this horrific devastation about the greatness of his cooperation into re-building Houston...while silently screwing the Flood Victims all along, of everything they have!!

After Trump's delightful romp of self-adulations, Trump Hat Sales, and Mini-Rally visit in Corpus Christi...in the wake of a Catastrophe...damage control quickly set in place.

A Good Sucking Show soon followed, again in Corpus Christi. All, exclusively for the eyes and ears of Texans and Republicans. Gov. Greg Abbott and Mike Pence were given the assignment of covering up Trump's standard messy and embarrassing visit. Apparently, in a formal prepared speech, Abbott praised Trump & Pence for their valuable leadership work and efforts in this Disaster, then Pence praised Abbott & Trump with the same schpiel...it was one big sucking show! And Trump? He only praises himself, what else!

In his 1st Visit, Trump couldn't be happier…Wow! What a Crowd, What an Audience!!...2nd visit, he got his hands dirty helping a little and physically touching someone with less $$$ than him in 50 years. It was your Standard "Concerned Look after a Disaster" Presidential Photo-op…and Melania? still with her damn Spike Stilettoes! Trip 2 Sound byte embarrassments? "Harvey has been a wonderful thing for Texas"…and "have a good time in the shelters, everybody"! This, to people who have just lost everything in their lives…their homes and their livelihood.

Many fine words of condolence, praise to Volunteers, thanks for all donations, and solidarity among Americans. Pretty sound-byte moments of Unity...but, at the end of the day? Where's the Beef!?!? . Where's that Relief Money? Where's that $$$ going to come from? Over a Hundred Thousand have either lost or severely damaged their homes, along with all their Life Belongings & Memories...and on some occasions...the loss of their families, and even their own Lives!!! How do you repair and rebuild, when the Government stops funding the Federal Flood Insurance Plan, to rebuild your home?? How do you re-built a City without proper funding? Dumping a seriously needed Program just because Obama initiated it, to spite him?? That's just Cruel & Evil! Tuesday was one of those classic NBA offseason days where a deluge of WTF starts early and keeps on churning. The main event ended up being a huge trade between the Lakers and Nets sending D'Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov to Brooklyn for Brook Lopez and a late first round pick.

You can tell what people think of both Lopez and Russell by how they frame this deal. It's a complicated bargain: Lopez is actually good, though he's only signed for one more year, and the Lakers have little faith in or need for Russell with Lonzo Ball two days away from the squad. Furthermore, the trade cleans up a mess few realized L.A. had on its hands: a lack of 2018 cap space. Since Lopez's deal is expiring, losing Mozgov's hefty salary opens up a max salary space for Paul George or another superstar. (Like, uh, LeBron.) Getting another first round pick -- albeit a low one -- helps build a trade package for George in the interim.

The Nets, meanwhile, take a chance on a pretty interesting 21-year-old who will get a fresh start in a still-large market. This is exactly the sort of trade the Nets should be making.

First, whoever wrote this one, credit due that it did have some great lines.  That said, the theme of the whole episode seemed to be, “Everyone Does Stupid Shit And Almost Dies Because Of It,” which genuinely did detract from the overall ‘enjoyment’ shall we say.  Because everyone was acting like morons and if these people were really all that stupid, they wouldn’t have survived beyond day one of the turn.

Examples (getting all the negative stuff out up front):  Michonne and Rosita.  Both still limping around, completely unable to fight, “yesterday” decide “today” to just go off on their own to do some Savior Compound sightseeing.  In the process, nearly get themselves both killed, and nearly LIBERATE the Savior Compound(!), because neither of them were strong enough to take out the one woman who was driving off with the damn speaker truck to clear the place of the walkers.  

Which leads me to Daryl and Tara.

Yes, yay, they saved Rosita and Michonne’s bacon by taking out the Speaker Truck and the Savior woman driving it.  EXCEPT, them deciding to go rogue means that the people who are supposed to be keeping track of Rick and whether or not he gets out of the garbage heap alive . . . have just abandoned him.  Good job, guys.

Which leads me to RICK!

Dude, WTF?!  Why would you walk in there alone with NOBODY nearby to save your ass?!  These people have already turned sides on you.  I do agree that it is not unreasonable to think that they might not turn again, but as of right now, they are aligned with Negan.  And now you’ve been taken hostage, stripped naked and dumped into a transport crate to be shipped off to the Saviors.  Oops.  

Now let’s go to Carl.

Another callback to season 1 . . . Carl being an idiot 😑  I don’t care if the new guy seems okay, your dad said to leave it alone because you can’t trust new people right now.  But yeah, fuck that because again, you’re Carl so you just do whatever the fuck you want.  And oh look, you almost got eaten FOR NOTHING!!!  The whole thing was just so, so stupid and was more of something season two Carl would have done when he was like eleven.  It was eleven year old stupid.  

The Hilltop.

There are only three people I’d like to see dead by the end of the season.  Negan, Dwight (because it’s the only way to end that story line) and . . . Jesus.  I did mute every time he spoke because I’ve been done with the sanctimonious bullshit for three episodes now.  Please note, he gave away their emergency food supply to the people possibly about to be executed because they missed A meal!  Like it wasn’t Day Six of the Siege!  All of the events of these episodes are overlapping.  You took them hostage, and took them for a walk, and then gave away all of your people’s emergency food storage on THE SAME DAY!  I was so glad Maggie took him to task for that, and that she flat out told him that she wasn’t keeping those people alive because he wanted it (as in he was right) but just because it was the only pragmatic move in case they needed to do a hostage trade in the short term, but in the long term she was executing their asses.  THANK YOU, MAGGIE!  

We need SO much more Maggie, and NO MORE, Jesus, please and thank you.

So E is just a pathetic spineless bitch now?  Because that was what I got from his scene.  I understand he was pretty devastated by recent events, (rightly so) but he had some time to get his shit together and Carol very calmly explained to him how he needs to stand up and go help those people grieve because he DID make those decisions for them, and he needs to take responsibility now for his actions, and he’s like, yeah, no.  Not happening.  So I hope all those people who were thinking C and E would be a great couple (*eye roll*), get how they can fucking suck it.  Because if you think The Amazonian Warrior who has suffered from pretty much day one and still keeps on kicking ass and taking names, deserves to be saddled with a man who has so little personal character that he can’t even take responsibility for what he did, then you have no respect for Carol.  At all.   That’s just putting aside the fact that she already has a man, and it’s a huge fuck you to the Caryl relationship to be an A, B, C, D’er, but whatever.  And I don’t even blame E for the deaths, but I do blame him for how he’s responding to those deaths.  You made choices, and you got people killed.  It happens.  But if you take to your bed now like you have the damn vapors, then fuck you, you’re being a punk bitch.  We already have Eugene filling that role.  And no matter what else happens with him later, E’s already shown his true character here and he’s tainted because of it.  Sort of like last week with Negan and all of the pathetic penis commentary.  It seems deliberate that these characters are being knocked down off their pegs to make them less likable for whatever is coming next.  Not saying it’s bad writing, I’m saying it’s people being pushed to the wall and now showing their true colors.  The results have been pretty abysmal for both of them.

Now to the Positive stuff, because that was a lot of bitching :)

Good opening line from Rick:  “It’s scarier than I thought it would be.”  

For some reason I really love that they wrote letters to each other with the updates.   And that The Kingdom letter wasn’t to E.  it was to Carol, because her people know that Carol’s the one in charge :))

Poor Carol getting saddled with another kid.  Like she needs that shit.  

Jerry breaking my heart:.  “He told me that I didn’t need to do this anymore . . . this is what I do.”  Again, pointing out that E’s failure here as person, is doing a hell of a lot more damage beyond just the deaths.  Jerry doesn’t know who he is if he’s not this guy.  

Maggie cuddling baby Gracie.  💕  Though I do think it’s fair to wonder if Gracie’s mom might still be alive out there.  

Good line for the new guy, Sadiq:  “Killing them would free their souls.”  And it is an interesting idea.  That is one thing that hasn’t been touched on much is the ‘spirituality” of the undead.  Back on the farm Hershel et al thought they were just sick and could be cured, but that was just because they were in denial.  Since then walkers are just treated as monsters and that’s that.  It did add some needed depth to show someone who saw them differently.  And saw killing as many as he could to be a ‘righteous’ act, and not just a matter of “vengeful clearing” like Morgan does.  It was funny though because before Sadiq even said that, I was looking at that walker stuck to the post trying to get the bag he would never reach, and I was just picturing that as being someone’s eternity.  And how that would be a special kind of hell.  Then he freed him from that.  

I liked that Carol’s pep talk to E didn’t include the words “I need you,” because she doesn’t.  She doesn’t need him.  She needs for him to get his shit together to go deal with his people.  That’s what she needs.  

The one positive of Gregory is that he’s done with Jesus and is just going to call him Paul again.  The passive aggressiveness of it, pleases me :)

No Caryl this week.  Not even an inferred bit.  Though at least the mid-season finale is lined up for both of them to be at the Savior compound.   

Side point to that, I skipped Talking Dead even though it was MMB because it made little sense that she was there so it seemed like they were wasting her time.  It wasn’t her episode.  Airtime was pretty evenly split with everyone, but Christian or Danai still would have been more logical choices because it was their first episode back and hearing their take on things to date just made much more sense.  For some reason it just felt like Melissa was the only member of the main cast who agreed to go, if that makes sense, and it kind of annoyed me in an odd way.   And then they put her with someone brand new who we have no allegiance with at all, so I didn’t even feel the need to watch to see her interacting with a friend.  Meh.    

Anyway, overall the episode felt kind of bloated.  TWD has always been at its best with more focused scenes and constant whiplash trying to keep up with everyone at once, in all these locations, doesn’t allow for that to happen.  I’m just glad the next big fight is coming up so the crew will get culled down a bit more and we’ll be getting even closer to re-consolidating back to just one (maybe two) communities.  I hold out hope because if we think back, so often the A to B storylines totally shifted gears, so maybe we’ll luck out and the Negan stuff will start to wrap much earlier.  I just want to move on to what’s next 😔
