Draconia game break down
State of game: pre-alpha
Type of game: MMORPG (when finalized)
Social media: Discord server, with devs being active and giving updates (https://discord.gg/draconiagame)
Plattform: avaiable on Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1295900/Draconia/)
Character creation: you can play as a dragon (european dragon, wyrm, asian dragon), griffin, or golem, with customization possible; more options to come (eg wyvern, drake, ...)
Gameplay: first daily quests have been implemented, NPC quests yet to come. Character leveling maxed at lvl50 for now; story might be implemented in later development
Personal rating: So far really enjoyable since the community is very welcoming. Since the game is at a very early stage & from a small indie studio development might be slower in comparsion to big studios, but the people behind are extremely transparent in communication with the players, answer questions on Discord, and consider wishes/feedback. If you’re looking for a finished game with tons of stuff to do right away, maybe wait a while. If you’re fine with making a dragon and do some exploring & chatting with people in-game, give it a try

I remember why I don’t like playing early access games. I don’t wanna ride a bare bones skate park under construction, I want the full vision

Husband found a new game with couch co-op tonight so we had a good time with Bounty of One. Super simple controls, fun soundtrack, interesting choices to make at every level-up. Definitely going to be following the early access on this one

So, let me see if I've got this straight.
When Overwatch 2 launched last October, it was framed by Blizzard as a PvP-only early access preview of a game which would eventually include a substantial PvE campaign, to be added in a later patch.
Today, Blizzard's representatives admitted not only that the PvE campaign mode has been scrapped, but that the internal decision to do so was made in late 2021 – meaning they'd been knowingly lying about the game's planned feature set for nearly a year at the time of the October 2022 early access launch.
Is that about the size of it?

Early Access
I continue to be baffled by the number of people who leap on an update like crazed weasels, only to come bitch and whine and moan in the Discord and then flounce after saying shit like, "I waited forever for this update, but there's tons of bugs, so I'll wait until a full release."
Like, do you not understand what Early Access is? It means parceled out content. It means bugs! It means reporting those bugs. [Preferably giving a coherent explanation of how to reproduce said bug.] It means sometimes uploading a save file or what have you, to assist the devs in hunting those bugs down.
Christ. I blame a lot of things, really.
But seriously, what is with this whiny bitch routine I keep seeing? These are not the days of yore, where patches were damn near unheard of because companies released a full product that had been (in theory) rigorously tested. Because, kids? We didn't have high-speed internet in those days! We couldn't just download a patch/hotfix a day or two later.
It took forever to download anything, and we still shopped in actual stores, with physical displays, and physical disks or discs [not sure any of them were ever on 8" tho].
I say again, Christ.
Early Access is as good as saying you plan to be QA and work with the devs and support team to hunt down bugs. It's disheartening to run smack into a game-breaking bug, absolutely, but you don't get to piss and moan over it with any credibility during EA.
