Okay everyone I just had an encanto headcannon.

So whenever Pepa is mad at someone Felix is right there trying to calm her down, he probably wants to deal with the problem the calm way. Not saying he doesn't care that his wife is mad he just doesn't want Pepa to do someone she'll regret.

Agustin however is different. On the rare chance Julieta is mad at someone to the point of giving them a verbal smack down, which is rare, Agustin will be right there being a yes man.

Julieta: I can't believe you would be so selfish

Agustin: Extremely selfish!

Julieta: You're acting like you were raised in a barn

Agustin: Yeah your acting like you were raised in a barn!

Julieta: Agustin, sweetie, I got this. You can stop now.

Agustin: Yeah she's got this!

Julieta: Agustin stop...

Agustin: Yeah Agustin you stop!

Julieta: I love you, but it's clear I didn't marry you for your brains.

Agustin: Yeah she's didn't marry me because of my brai- Wait you didn't...

Welp. Its offical..after almost 2 years of not being in a fandom, Ecanto finally dragged me back to a new phase.

All jokes aside, I have a request!

Could you do a hc to where the reader (fem) feels super bad because she accidentally dropped food on the floor and thought she insulted Casita, so she's on the verge of tears and its taking everything in Camilo's power to not laugh. Not laughing to mock her but because of how cute he thinks it is

I just did some simple Headcannons, I hope that's what you wanted :)

You didn't mean to, you really didn't

But Camilo distracted you too much and you tripped on one of Isabella's flowers

All your food slid off the pate

You felt so bad

"Casita, I'm so sorry!"

You immediately tried to pick up the food

Camilo stood behind you chewing on his lips as he tried not to laugh

You ran back to the kitchen grabbing one of Julietta hand towels

You scrubbed the floor a solid five minutes

Camilo buckled over a hand slapped on his mouth as he watched you viciously scrub the floor

He finally came to his senses when he noticed you silently sob

"Ah, Mi Vida it's okay"

Camilo knelt next to you pressing kisses to your cheek

You blinked away the tears and let Camilo take the towel away

"You do realize I live in this house right?"

"I didn't want to offend her"

"Oh my god you're so cute"

Camilo took your plate to the kitchen grabbing some more food

He took you up to his room assuring you Casita wasn't offended

"Are you sure I didn't insult her?"

"Oh my god! You should see my Mami when it snows"

Okay so the Ecanto enjoyers (fandom?) likes to talk about lesbian Isabela, bi Mirabel and non-binary Camilo. I love this about us but here me out.

Trans Bruno. 

I love short king representation from our stinky rat man but like what if Bruno always knew there was something wrong with the body he had. He didn’t like to wear dresses like his sisters, much to Alma’s dismay. Bruno choosing his new name but not being brave enough to tell his mama or his sisters.

and then on the day they got their powers the magic just went ah yes, you who has always seen your future self (as someone different) I will give you the gift of seeing everyone elses future. And then his body is changed as well (not by much but y’know the important stuff is changed) by the magic, and as his door finishes constructing itself the name at the top is Bruno. 

Alma being confused but also believing so hard in the magic and the fact that the magic does what is best for the family. Julietta being very accepting of her baby brother and Pepa being accepting but also being that kid that asks all the questions with no shame X3 

Just trans Bruno. I love him with all my heart. Also with this headcannon also having Bruno be one of the reasons why no one was judging of Camilo’s identity when they came out. Also speaking of Camilo, them having masc/neutral days (their usual look) and then fem days where the only thing different is that they use their powers to change their voice and features to be more fem but it’s still just Camilo and not a random fem person they saw.

Your post about ecanto is so facts! I find it funny how white people —when they don't feel "represented"—decide to self insert or push headcannons on charcaters instead of using the film/tv show as a teachable moment for them. It's really frustrating as a woc to see white people do this.

Fr. I will not say much since I am not Latina but I definitely understand and relate to the story. To see them ignoring and just crossing out the original plot pisses me off to no end. It happens all the time with characters of color. They say they want complex characters and different stories but when they get it they make it very clear that they want to see it on white people. That’s exactly why they either don’t understand what’s going on or just ignore the plot and make up whatever they want to. It’s a hot mess and they need to stop.

PLEASE for the love of god pls never stop doing the ecanto headcannons 😩🥺 theyre so cute and sweet and funny like I always imagine them in great detail too like you describe them I swear!
