Was thinking about Round One of the whole,,, Mimic horse shit situation (/lh), and had a stupid thought

Supposed to fit inside Eclipse's tiny little tippy tappers

The SHOE SIZE is so wildly different between them, like. Holy shit, dude. I know it's vrchat and we have to use our imaginations to fill in the gaps sometimes, but. Jsksksk. Trying to comprehend how tf Mimic was supposed to completely take over Eclipse's body. He can change his height and stature and whatnot, since that's what mimics are canonically capable of doing, but of all things, I don't think he can change his FOOT SIZE

yes, there will be a reference sheet for eaps Eclipse at some point (there will be some changes, like there not being silicone on his joints- that was an accident)

A thought that just dawned on me:

V1 Bloodmoon and the Mimic have some interesting parallels going on

V1 Bloodmoon was going around, using his nanomachines to transform into other people and cause chaos. He was copying people's voices, most notably Monty and Moon's. I don't remember if he ever copied Sun or not, but he was antagonizing Sun while "disguised" (for lack of a better word) as Moon. He used the form of someone that Sun cared for, and it backfired horribly

The Mimic does what his name implies. He can take on the appearances and voices of whoever he wants, and he's very good at copying their personalities. He does this a bit smarter than V1 Bloodmoon did, but still

They both go around causing chaos and copying people

I wonder if the Mimic will target Puppet and antagonize her while using the form of someone that she cares about. I wonder if this will happen when she's at a very low point, and I wonder if it'd make her snap the same way that Sun did. Instead of nuking Mimic with a barrel cannon, I wonder if Puppet will go straight to atomizing Mimic. I wonder if, from there, she'll spiral

Tbh I really wanted there to be a moment where Eclipse was having a total breakdown in the headspace and it led to his body crying and shaking against the Mimic's will, leading to it having to try and act cool about the fact that "he" was very clearly upset. I get why it didn't happen, but also like, pain and agony yayyy <3

(Note: The outfit on Mimiclipse here is bc I am very subscribed to Kouwelm's idea of the mimic, so the trenchcoat is the sign of the mimic <3)
