Battle Royale part 2! storyboarded and directed by me revisions by Ray Morelli, special character layout by Justin Nichols. a few bonus shots from the amazing Dave Thomas. I love doing cartoony action! So many characters in this episode to keep track of. Wander and Hater's performances were extra silly in this one, inspiring some manic acting. I was surprised Disney let us be this violent for this episode. no punch toward cam then flash cheats. Hater gets his ass kicked! Justin's layouts of Hater and Dominator's future life is so funny, look at those kids! Justin also had the idea for Dom to slam the ring into her finger. LOL! This episode was really a team effort, thank you to Ben Balistreri, Dave Thomas, Alex Kirwan, and Craig McCracken. Good times!

Never forget. Dave Thomas and Eddie Trigueros made my WOY childhood. And seeing one liking my artwork as well as getting answered a question by another is one of the greatest treasures I have ever gotten in this fandom…

I just realized, you've been working on some of the same spongebob episodes as the guy who storyboarded Curse of the Monkey Bird

YEP! the incredibly talented Eddie Trigueros, who is an INSANE animation inspiration and you are sorely missing out if you haven’t seen his work yet! he’s done a lot of great stuff for the Paul Rudish Mickey Mouse shorts as well, and of course has floated around on various LTC shorts. i’ve used his sections as inspiration many times! The Big Bad Bubble Bass especially (which is one of my favorite episodes i‘ve worked on too.) he’s absolutely incredible!! he did some incredible work on tomorrow’s episode, so here’s my shameless plug for you guys to go check it out

JONES HYPE! I drew Wander and Sylvia with some expressions taken from the Looney Tunes shorts directed by Chuck Jones. Whereas Eddie Trigueros (@atalkingmagpie) is more influenced with Bob Clampett’s wacky surrealism and the power to distort bodies, I tend to go with the polar opposite and make the comedic expressions more subtle. Wander Over Yonder is property of Craig McCracken and Disney.

As a follow-up to my list of characters and their probability of returning for S3 of Wander Over Yonder, which still has yet to be approved by Disney (or Netflix) and fully seen by the public, here’s a list of voice actors and their probability of returning. So Chris what was the reason why the show Wander over Yonder got cancelled.

Pssh I have no idea! But I will say Craig is a gem. The whole crew was incredible and I was lucky to be a storyboard revisionist for about 9 months during S1. I was in-between Gravity Falls seasons and was also working on a pilot (Shane and I developed a whole show at Disney before Big City Greens!). Eddie Trigueros was nice enough to hire me as his revisionist since we had worked together back on Fanboy and Chum Chum (which was my first gig).

The WoY crew was so incredibly talented. Craig is a gentle genius, Eddie Trigueros is a modern master of cartooning, Dave Thomas is like a cartoon scientist, Lauren Faust and Alex Kirwan were at the core of the show doing awesome things, and the show even housed amazing storyboard artists like Justin Nichols, David Gemmill, Mark Ackland, Ricardo Durante, etc. It was a crew that I was thrilled to rub elbows with for a hot second. And I can’t wait for Craig’s new Netflix show. I’m sure it’ll be incredible.

I love how this episode came out. I had a lot of fun drawing the ducks in their outfits. I have no idea how to play tennis so I leaned heavily on @darrickbachmans Wimbledon knowledge. Again @mercuryfilmworks kills it with their amazing animation!!! Thank you to the Mickey crew for all your hard work!

a good chunk of the Looney Tunes Cartoons crew were post-2nd movie spongebob people (boarders Ryan Khantam, Arielle Phillips, and Caroline Director at bare minimum, with David Gemmill, Jim Soper, and Eddie Trigueros all having done some freelance stuff for that era of spongebob)

AWESOME!!! my dream is to move to burbank... very far fetched since i live on the east coast and don’t have any money/car/even a computer but i’d love to go to california and see what opportunities await me. i know it’s certainly wishful thinking but if i put myself out there enough and if those shows are still running when i get there... then maybe there’s just a chance!
