SYDNEY SWEENEY at the 2022 LACMA Art + Film Gala on November 5th 2022 wearing GIAMBATTISTA VALLI COUTURE
Sydney has been MIA for a bit, so it was exciting to see her at this event. I wasn’t super impressed with the craftsmanship of this look, but I did like how fun and youthful it felt. But it was almost a bit too youthful.
Since this look was couture, I was disappointed in the craftsmanship of the dress. The rosette sleeves are beautiful, but the left sleeve looks like some are detached in places. It looks like something that should've been fixed before Sydney walked the red carpet.
I did like how girlie this look was. I think it's a very different choice than what Sydney usually wears. I liked that she wore her hair up, since the sleeves had so much volume and detail. I wish she went full bubble gum pink and wore matching shoes, instead of the silver glitter platforms.
in case yall were wondering, i sat my perfume tray sniffing everything i owned and matching it to characters
also !! i have sniffed every single one of these fragrances in store and the ones i own to write this! Some of them i really love, some i like, some i loathe.
(if anyone ever wants to talk about perfume my dms are open im a perfume nut)

sol de janeiro 59
fine’ry magnetic candy
feyre: a baked good. if you smell like a baked good she’s on the floor. While she loves a plain vanilla, she also loves a more complex, unique scent on you. It makes you easier to find in crowds and a part of her loves watching people crumble at your feet because of your scent and then seeing that you’re always gonna go home with her.
snif co’s crumb couture
nest madagascar vanilla
replica coffee break
morrigan: she loves sweet and fruity as well, but her vice is strawberry. she likes when you smell like a delicious baked strawberry cake with vanilla frosting. she also is a sucker for lychee and rose scents.
bath and body works strawberry pound cake
ouai’s melrose place
kayali’s eden sparkling lychee

clean reserve’s radiant nectar
replica matcha meditation
jo malone london nectarine blossom and honey
nesta: rain, earth, musk. She loves to smell that fresh just cracked open a book, dark academia type smells. It’s very homey to her and reminds her of peace. Which, the poor woman does not get often.
replicas when the rain stops
phlur missing person
juliette has a gun not a perfume
elain: she loves flowery/fruity smells or you smelling more masculine with flower notes. She loves lavender on you specifically,
ariana grande god is a woman

lucien: he loves citruses. specifically the smell of tangerines/oranges. He loves when you smell like a juicy, sun-drenched orange in the summer.
phlurs’ tangerine boy
dolce and gabanna’s devotion
nest seville orange
eris: like azriel (azris lol) he loves a cherry scent but his favorite is a darker cherry. He loves when you smell woody and fruity. Something dark and decadent. He’s also a rum guy.
kayali’s lovefest burning cherry
replica’s jazz club
kilian paris angel share
tarquin: this man loves beachy and summer. He likes that lighter sea breezy citrusy scents but also the sweet tropical ones as well.
I drove a grand total of 70 miles yesterday so I could spend all afternoon huffing perfume and this is ultimately my take. Do with this information what you will.
~~Got bored so compiled this (pretty extensive) list of film references for faunlet style and aesthetics, might be helpful for anyone looking to delve into and develop their style. Don't take this as some kind of gospel, it's just a bunch of movies and shows that I think can be useful reference points. My personal style and taste for example is a huge mix and amalgalm of stuff I see, from movie characters to paintings, books, comics, cartoons, music videos, haute couture collections, K- and J-idols, BJD dolls, even elements and staples from female fashion that I kind of genderflip or just outright mix into and merge with my own "masculine"/boyish/whatever faunlet fits. I think the secret to finding your style is to never limit yourself & always be creative (& clever ofc)! ♡
Feel free to suggest and tell me some of your personal films/shows that inspire you the most. I'm sure I forgot some stuff >.> Hope this helps somewhat lolol
WARNING: A LOT OF THESE HAVE MATURE THEMES AND +18 STUFF, SO DO RESEARCH BEFORE WATCHING AND PROCEED AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION, CAUTION & RESPONSIBILITY!

The Lost Boys by Joel Schumacher
Y Tu Mamá Tambièn by Alfonso Cuarón
Summer 85 by François Ozon
Les Chansons d'Amour + La Belle Personne by Christophe Honoré

III. Fantasy/Glam/Mystical/Sacred/Ancient/Historical Faunlet Vibes
aria eden - west in custom belmonte couture accessorized with minimal staple weston co. jewelry for the heathrow foundation's tenth annual charity gala .
Mod opinion: I haven't read this one yet, but I am pleading with publishers to translate this into english, it sounds so interesting!

Emmie has a new dress, and had to show it off immediately. Now she can fit in better with the “big girls” on my desk, who are dressed in plaid and red.
My Wellie Wishers often get overlooked when I’m sewing, and I felt bad that Emmie had to stay hidden away while her big brother, Paul, was out as part of the Christmas party scene. I printed out the Empire silhouette dress pattern by Eden Ava Couture at a reduced size and it fits quite well. I added a sash to it to fit a little more closely and add a girly touch.

#Scentoftheday round-up from last week, gold or dark was clearly (unintentionally) the theme! Plus all were Christian Dior except for one day! Sidenote, I could easily do a full week or two with just Dior, was thinking of solely doing La Collection Privee too as I have many samples and miniatures from this collection now.
L to R; Dune EDT, La Collection Privee Dioriviera EDP worn with Eden-Roc EDP, Dior Addict EDP, J'adore Infinissime EDP, Moschino Gold Fresh Couture EDP worn with Versace Crystal Noir EDT, Poison Girl EDT and Joy EDP.
