todoroki shoto grew up in a harsh environment and i feel like that would be why he would become a yandere.

todoroki would be yandere for someone who is kind and caring, and wouldn’t ogle his burn scar or maybe they even find it’s pretty.

when todoroki is yandere, it’s subtle. he doesn’t show his emotions through facial expressions, and his body language is hard to read, so you likely wouldn’t know until it’s too late.

todoroki isn’t the type of yandere to remove you from society unless you’re a danger to yourseld or you’re IN danger. 

todoroki would (with his father’s card) pay someone to bug your phone so that he has access to all of your activity and location at all times. he’s never far from you. 

todoroki also would pay someone to keep watch over you so that you’re always safe.

if todoroki feels like you aren’t paying enough attention to him, he’s much like Yan!Deku where he subtly isolates you from the sidelines by spreading rumours and manipulating you.

todoroki is breaking his back to become a hero, so he won’t murder anyone with his own hands, but he will pay someone else to do it. 

if anyone finds out what hes doing, he’ll either have someone kill them, or will use hush money to keep it under wraps.

todoroki is a closeted pervert, so he will sneak into your house and steal your underwear/panties to help him get off to the thought of you/smell and will return them once the scent is gone in a place that you frequently lose things or somewhere you (believably) misplaced it.

shoto as a yandere, if you can overlook the immoral behavior and the murder, is actually kinda sweet.

he’ll learn to cook for you and make you nice dinners

he’ll spoil you with his father’s money- without your knowledge of course- and you’ll find them in your room when you get home. 

todoroki isn’t entirely delusional, so he knows that once you find out, you’ll be devastated and he’ll lose your trust, so he’ll do everything in his power to make sure you don’t find out. 

todoroki loves you very, very much and would go to any length to make sure you’re safe and happy- except for leaving you alone.

Malus Chapter 2: Home

I forgot to post this here and only got reminded because of a Wikirby edit (it makes sense I swear). But please enjoy anyway! Here's the first chapter, if you just stumbled across this.

(CW: Magolor eats a bug)

It didn’t take long for Orchid to return home.  The town she lived at, Rainstone, was around half a mile away from the Dragon’s Caldera, and there was a trail connecting the two areas.  Plus, her house was around its outskirts, so there wasn’t too much extra walking to do.

Orchid’s house was constructed back to back with several other houses, being near impossible to separate, and for that matter, distinguish.  But she knew it was hers, and she rushed over to it, loudly knocking at the door.  It didn’t take long for someone to come to her.

“Orchid!  There you are, sweetie!  Oh, wherever have you been?”  The woman in front of Orchid, who went by the name of Laelia, almost resembled a larger version of her.  Their fur was nearly the same shade of slate gray, and their eyes were the same bright orange.  Really, the only difference was how the woman’s eye markings were a slightly lighter shade.

“Mom, don’t worry, I’m fine!” Orchid laughed.  That mysterious baby creature she found earlier was still nuzzled against her belly, hidden under her paws.

“Oh, sweetheart, you need to get dry.”  Laelia grabbed Orchid by the paw, taking her by surprise.  With all the dexterity she could muster, she grasped the baby reptile with her free paw as her mother dragged her to the bathroom.  “Here, dry yourself.” Laelia said as she draped a dull green towel over Orchid’s back.  “You’ve had a long day, I can tell.”  She patted her daughter’s head, taking notice of how she was hiding something in her paws.  “Looks like you found something?”

“Uh… yeah, that!”  Orchid briefly started to panic, just now realizing that her mother might not be happy about how she brought a random baby animal home.  “Well… I do probably need to go to sleep… it’s gotta be late!”  She was aware about how exaggerated she likely sounded, even if she was partially being honest.  “So… goodnight!”  She slowly walked out, noticing Laelia’s confused expression.

A few steps away was Orchid’s bedroom, a cozy spot, if a bit cramped.  She opened up her paws to let the little creature observe its new surroundings, the scattered bits of dust spread across the room, the walls which were a color somewhere in between brown and red, the wooden nightstand carrying an inactive lamp and a book borrowed from a local library, and the unmade bed by the window.

“What do you think?” Orchid softly asked the little one, as if it could understand what she was saying.  It gave a chirp, which Orchid would interpret as a yes.  She walked over to her bed, setting down the creature on the nightstand (which it protested, of course) before hastily setting down her blankets.  She plopped down in it, only to see the little creature had somehow jumped on her bed beside her and was now nuzzling her belly.

“Aw, did you miss me?” Orchid chuckled.  It reminded her of how some baby animals would follow the first living being they see, also known as… was it ‘imprinting’?  Whatever, it was clear that this little one was doing that with her.  She started to doubt herself somewhat, with worries of her parents finding out and forcing her to abandon it.

But those kinds of thoughts wouldn’t help her sleep.  She had a long day, and she needed a good rest.  Plus, starting tomorrow, she’d have to start learning how to raise a reptile.  So she closed the curtain by her window, and fell onto her side, with the little one starting to doze off itself.

“Goodnight, little one…”

Orchid rarely dreamt all that much, and when she did, her dreams were difficult to understand and easily forgotten by the next morning.  But this night was different.

She stood in a gray field circled by… smoke?  Mist?  It was near impossible to tell.  All she was sure of was that this environment made her feel uneasy, and that it almost felt real.  All of a sudden, a pair of glowing yellow eyes pierced through the darkness of the cloudy surroundings from in front of Orchid, soon followed by a silhouette which drew closer to Orchid.

When the being escaped the shroud, Orchid noted they looked a lot like an adult version of the little one she had found.  They stood in a bipedal position, with stubby legs just the right size to carry their body.  Around their neck was a mane of black fur (or something resembling fur, considering the being was reptilian), which continued up to their head to form a little tuft.  Their head had more of the ear-horns, five pairs to be exact.  At their sides were what seemed to be a pair of folded wings.

“Hello, Orchid.” spoke the being with a deep yet feminine voice with an echo to it.  Orchid jolted with shock to find the being was standing right in front of her, and they were taller than the largest of Waddle Dees.  “My name is Kaina…  I wanted to thank you for rescuing my child.  I was worried of their fate following my death.”

“Um, you’re welcome?”  About a hundred thoughts were racing through Orchid’s mind.  This was the mother of that little creature I found?  How am I talking to them when they’re dead?  Apparently the little creature is sapient?  Is this really happening?  Am I going insane?

“I know this won’t always be an easy task.”  Kaina placed a paw on Orchid’s head in comfort.  “But please… take care of Magolor, alright?”  And with that, she faded into the fog once more, and so did Orchid’s dream fade into darkness.

He blinked open his eyes as light started to sneak into the room.  His ‘mother’ was still asleep, and he nudged at her a bit before realizing she was still resting.  He slithered around a bit before a new smell wafted past his nostrils.  With that smell, he realized he was feeling something he hadn’t experienced yet in his new life; hunger.

So he followed the scent to find it came from the foot of the bed, and there he found its source was a little bug, with fluffy brown wings.  He slowly approached it, attempting to be stealthy, before he pounced.

Unfortunately, this ended with the bug fluttering away and him tumbling off the end of the bed.  His fall was cushioned by a loose blanket, so he wasn’t injured.  Still, he was disoriented, and it took him a bit to adjust himself.  Now he was stressed.  He couldn’t get back up to his ‘mother’, and he was still hungry.  He sniffed again, to find another scent…

Orchid woke up in a delirious state of mind.  She just lay down, thinking about that bizarre dream.  She couldn’t have been visited by that little one’s dead mother, right?  But there was an element of lucidity to it that was uncommon…  Apparently, that ‘Kaina�� referred to the little one by ‘Magolor’?  She hadn’t thought of a name yet, so she assumed that’s what Kaina wanted to name them?

Agh, this was a bad way to wake up.  It became even worse when Orchid snapped back to reality and realized that ‘Magolor’ wasn’t next to her, or anywhere in the room for that matter.

“...Magolor?  MAGOLOR?” Orchid cried, almost without knowing what she was saying.  Oh no, Kaina’s probably so angry at me for this, if she really exists…  Her heart was quickly beating, and she jolted out of bed, rushing out of her room the second she opened the door.  What if they’re hurt, or worse…

Orchid didn’t even notice when she dashed right past her own mother, who was very confused indeed.  She started to cool down once she got into the kitchen, and tried to see if she could spot the little one anywhere.  They couldn’t have jumped on the table or counter, they were far too small for that.  So they had to be somewhere on the floor…

Ah!  Right in a particularly dusty corner, there they were.  They seemed to be eating a stray ant they had caught.  While it was a gross sight, Orchid was still relieved that nothing bad happened to them, and went right over to them to pick them up.

“There you are!”  She gently squeezed them close to her cheek, not wanting to let them go.  They seemed to be happy to see her too, nuzzling against her and joyfully chirping.  “I’ll just-”

“Oh, you were trying to catch that lizard!”  Orchid jolted.  Laelia had seen her with the little one, and she likely wouldn't be happy with it.

“Um, yeah!”  Okay, you can play along with the thing about trying to catch the lizard…  “I’ll just take Magolor outside…”

“...Magolor?  You named it?”

OH CRUD.  Orchid’s panic welled up again.  That was it, her mom was probably really gonna be upset…  “I-i’m sorry, I found them alone, their mother was dead, I couldn’t leave them there…”  She doubted this would assuage Laelia much.

“Sweetheart…”  Orchid could barely bring herself to look directly at her mother with tear-filled eyes.  “It’s okay.  I’m not mad.  You can keep it.”

It took a few seconds for Orchid to register that in her mind.  “I… I can?”

“Yes.”  Laelia’s eyes softened as she hugged her daughter.  “This is… a little unexpected, but I’ll do my best to help you with this.”

Orchid started to figuratively glow with relief and joy.  “Thank you, mom…”

Whump prompts

I've had these stewing for a little while, letting some stories develop, but there's no reason I can't post them here for others to use and enjoy too. (*Insert a "just like the whumpee" joke here.) Until I have a clearer idea of what I like, maybe use this as a metric of what's on my blog. CW: Lots of prisoner and torture whump. Multi-whumpee. Collars and leashes.

Whumper teaching captive Whumpee(s) the rules by guesswork and a process of elimination. "Punishment is a better teacher than reward, psychologically speaking. So do whatever you want. I'll let you know this evening what the consequences are."

Whumpee thinks that they're convincing Whumper to let them out of a punishment, but Whumper is just letting them rack up a massive tally of punishments for talking back.

A broken Whumpee asking the Whumper to restrain or punish them in advance when an escape idea occurs to them, so that Whumpee doesn't risk trying it and getting themselves, Caretaker or other Whumpee(s) punished.

Two Whumpees have been acting compliantly. But when they're alone, Protective Whumpee tries to act brave in front of Frailer Whumpee, making fun of Whumper and the torture they've received. But then one day, when protective Whumpee is at their limit, where Whumper usually stops, Whumper starts to use Protective Whumpee's secret words against them. "Just another 20. I'm told I need to strengthen my weak left hand." "You'll be good now? I want to believe you, but last time you said that, you weren't really scared at all!" "Breaking already? I thought you could do this for hours?"

For fans of Defiant Whumpees, Protective Whumpee gets broken to the point of dropping their fake compliance and baits Whumper, just enjoying speaking their mind for a bit. Whumper nearly takes the bait and hurts Protective Whumpee until they pass out, but stops themself in time.

For fans of emotional whump, paranoia, and angst, the above makes Protective Whumpee mistrust Frailer Whumpee. Especially if Frailer Whumpee has been begging Protective Whumpee to just cut their losses and comply. Maybe to the point where Protective Whumpee stops being protective, or where Whumper can drive a wedge between them. Did Frailer Whumpee tell Whumper? I was so sure we couldn't be overheard... Nope. Can't think like that. This place has to be bugged.

Whumpee 1 being made to clean up the mess from Whumpee 2's torture session, without knowing whether or not Whumpee 2 is ok.

Edit: almost forgot, bonus points if Protective and Frailer Whumpee have slowly been building trust since they were dumped into the same situation together.

ok so, i'm one of those fake fans – never watched a single episode of spn but was deep into destiel until i lost interest because of the terribly toxic way the writers treated the fandom – so you know what, i have hope, lets – for the first time ever – watch an spn episode and lets make it the finale right? and i'm just.. is every episode like this? extremely badly structured? plot hole galore? bad acting unless someone is dying??? like, the tonality was fucking bonkers. is that what it's like??

uh whew you really should have come to kiran auntie first before making that call because there’s no way I’d have let you watch that as your very first supernatural episode, regardless of quality. and ok I have not seen every single episode of the cw’s supernatural but I think I can definitively say that episode 19 and 20 of season 15 were the two worst episodes they’ve ever done

and look. look. I am not going to sit here and lie to you and tell you this is quality television. from day one (ESPECIALLY day one whoof) it had corny dialogue, messy plots, and mediocre to bad acting. it was a GENRE TV SHOW on the WB NETWORK in 2005, that was a given. besides that, it has been misogynistic and racist and homophobic and was very much still a relic of the bush administration era of television for a long long time. the fandom was also just as bad lol no one really covered themselves in glory in the 2000s, which was an incredibly cursed decade where gay was a normal insult to use for everything bad. however. it was very fun genre tv, with some really delightful writing at times and is pretty unique for what it was. they took a monster of the week format and made it last 15 years, with varying levels of quality but an overall solidly enjoyable piece of media. it (sort of) grew with the times, even though they had some um. growing pains. and despite the multiple showrunners and creative teams they still managed to produce a pretty solid body of work. there are some killer fucking episodes of good tv in there, the aesthetic is great, I still genuinely think the balance of humor and drama is really well done for the majority of the show.

the last two episodes were not.....idk. idk what show I’ve been watching this whole time but it definitely wasn’t that. ESPECIALLY the last episode. you can’t blame it all on covid, because that just affects the shooting schedule, not the actual script, editing, WIG DEPARTMENT (??), etc. it was just BAD TV, like they just completely forgot how to make a regular tonally consistent television episode even factoring in the adjustments for covid. I promise you even at its worst (I think, we skipped most of season 7 lol) supernatural was not this bad. yes, I’m including bugs, which for some reason I remember thinking was a fine episode but I was also like 15 at the time, so. grain of salt.

also dean/cas is still a really solid fucking ship. I didn’t need it to be canon, although I absolutely would not have watched the finale live if they hadn’t made the angel gay because I’m a fucking dumbass. there’s a lot of great content, it’s obviously bait but I much prefer subtext between two well-developed characters instead of a random side gay character who gets a partner and then vanishes for the rest of the series. however that is another topic altogether I have already exposed too much of my personal damage tonight

anyways the point is even aside from how it ended, I’ve been having a lot of fun catching up on the seasons I missed during the 10-year blackout period I had where the cw’s supernatural just did not exist in my level of reality, and I am gonna keep watching until I’ve caught up. I still really enjoy the show, I like the characters, I think a lot of the people who made the show would have made a lot of different choices but their hands were tied by the showrunners/producers/execs/etc. I ignore a lot of the stuff the cast and crew has said over the years because who cares, death of the author, etc etc. I also think the fandom was a little insane during the height of the show’s popularity and while it doesn’t excuse some shitty behavior on the cast/crew’s part it does uuuhh explain some choices.

do I recommend you watch the rest of it? eh. idk. if you’re into destiel I think it’s fun, but just stop at ep 18 when you get to the last season, which apparently was pretty solid up until last week. if you can separate yourself from the conclusion and the intents of the producers/writers to just watch the rest of the show, I’d say go for it. again, for the most part it’s fun, although I speak from a place of someone who was really really into supernatural before my frontal lobe fully developed. AGAIN. grain of salt.
