Charlie/Vaggie (Hazbin Hotel): Vaggie and Charlie clearly share a value system, which makes them such a good team both with the hotel as well as romantic partners. Charlie, who hasn't had anyone backing her up in a long time needs Vaggie's unwavering support, and Vaggie, who feels herself as having committed truly heinous acts, needs Charlie's faith that anyone can become a better person if they try.

Amity/Luz (The Owl House): I love how they trust each other too much to be jealous or snoop into each other's business. I go nuts over how the things each of them is embarrassed about are something the other loves about them. I go feral at how knowing each other helps them both grow as people.

Edward/Winry (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood): It's how they grew apart and then grew back together. It's how they're so different yet so similar and it took them years to realize that second part. It's how Winry realized Ed's "back had gotten broad". It's how Ed proposed at the end of the story.

Usagi/Mamoru (Sailor Moon): For all I'm not into the destined lovers type of stuff, the 90s anime really does sell the idea that these two bring something into each other's lives that they sorely need. You could see how these two had things they respected each other even when they were bickering every other day. Mamoru respected Usagi's care for friends and strangers alike, and Usagi listened to Mamoru's sound advice and even often followed it. They also help each other grow into better people. The cynical Mamoru needed to see Usagi's unwavering positivity and faith in people to learn to open up after being orphaned. Meanwhile, the flighty Usagi needed Mamoru's down-to-earth advice and support as she takes on her increasing responsibilities as Sailor Moon. I also like how, when Chibi-Usa settled into her place as their future daughter being raised by the current them, Usagi was incredibly secure in her relationship with Mamoru, often acting even downright wifely around him. I also love how Mamoru will eat anything Usagi cooks for him, even when it's downright lethal-looking cookies.

Moominpappa/Moominmamma (Moomin/Tanoshii Muumin Ikka): Pastel Gomez/Morticia. For all their whirlwind (more like tidal wave) romance started with love at first sight, this old married couple is still very much in love with each other, finding romance in their day to day lives adopting all the stray children that wander around the house Moominpappa built for their family. Be it finding any excuse to dance with each other or having a tea date on their home veranda or just complimenting each other on the things they're passionate about, there's a reason these two call each other "darling" and "dear" with pure sincerity. Moominpappa's only complaint to some aliens mistakingly growing Moominmamma to gigantic size was that he couldn't carry her anymore.

- taylor has described this album as her most metal album (she was going through it and LYING), but while i disagree with that regard i still think there is something to that idea. taylor initially described it as finding love in the darkest of times, which is true. the album focuses more on the idea and fears of a relationship based on past loves and her world as a whole. and while that relationship is no longer happening, the message of the album still holds true.

- "my world is uninhabitable for most, no one can stay. but you're staying?"

- there is though, still a hint of venom or anger at times in the album. mainly towards the media or certain people who tried to destroy her career by lying through there teeth and putting her through years of media abuse, BUT WERE NOT HERE FOR THAT RANT BY KELLY SO ILL SHUT UP, but it's also anger towards her circumstances about the life she had chosen and didn't fully realize what she was getting into

- as when she signed on to be a country singer at 16 being a celebrity was a very different experience and meaning than our current idea of it as social media was no where near as prevalent

- it's those ideas why i think reputation is ed.

- ed is someone who made a decision years ago and is now forever facing the consequences and blaming himself not only for it but all the aftershocks it's caused in the beobles he's loves lives

- and though the people in his life don't blame him, as neither do the ones in taylor's that we can tell through her songs, he knows he doesn't make it easier to know it be around him. (even before he discovers the conspiracy). he is angry and upset about what has happened to him but also knows that he got himself into this situation. so while he doesn't necessarily fight it he is annoyed by it.

- he also feels very indebted to making things right and is going out of his way to help and save everyone which is a lot for anyone to take on ESPECIALLY at his young age, which is something that has been seen in taylor's past albums and echos of defeat in this one

- i think in general edward deserves a LWYMMD moment as only hot people get those and ed's been through enough shit in life he deserves it.

- also the love songs on this album feel very shocked and surprised, blushing and unable to speak. which is how we often see ed reacting to winry (cause he's 14 and has a crush on a girl ohhhhhhhhhhhh).

- they're unsure and exciting, the narrator doesn't know how to deal with it. it goes from being excited to being upset and confused to admitting guilt over situations but also not regretting it as it freed them.

- the love songs are all about finding a love that's new and exciting a real. not just the idea of love to go off of but a real love between two people. which is what edwin can be seen with as childhood friends to lovers. as both are almost blindsided by their feelings and even propose to each other in the most awkward way imaginable and both get flustered.

I am obsessed with them. They literally live in my brain rent free. They're so sweet and feral. The Sports Festival really did change everything in the series. Izuku opened Shouto's eyes to make the fire quirk he had his own, and he hasn't been the same since (and neither have I). Izuku is Shouto's hero. He changed his life. Because of that, now Izuku has a best friend in Shouto (and let's be real, a boyfriend). These two are so ride or die for one another. Shouto constantly remembers what Izuku told him. Izuku can rely on Shouto because they're on the same frequency. Reckless. They'd follow each other into the dark.

Princess Tutu - Fakir/Ahiru

Ultimate enemies to friends to lovers. Fakir literally tried to kill Duck as Tutu like twice, he didn't care. But then he and Duck started working together and Duck changed his whole outlook. Fakir was still a jerk, but he grew softer and fonder of Duck, and he was so protective of her. Duck is Fakir's muse. He is able to write about her because he understands her, unlike Mytho, and she trusts him with his storytelling powers. Plus, Duck was really the only one who had real faith in Fakir as a knight. They're so sweet and tender with each other. (We were also baited and robbed of that kiss from the trailer.)

Sailor Moon - Haruka Tenoh/Michiru Kaioh

I have an entire blog just dedicated to SM and harumichi. That's how much I love them. Haruka was so hesitant to become a sailor scout and even dreamt about Neptune, but she eventually became one because Michiru saved her from a monster and also because she couldn't fight her own fate. They have an amazing dynamic and they trust each other wholeheartedly and work so well together. They are also on the same frequency and have the same goal. They are also very tender with each other, especially when they hold hands and Michiru tells Haruka she likes her hands. They also have Pure Hearts.

House MD - House/Wilson

I've watched this show since I was like 16 and I've always liked House and Wilson. They give off such a huge Old Married Couple vibe, it's fantastic. They can be stupidly toxic for one another, though lmfao rip. But they get along so well, the way they riff off each other is so golden. Plus, House gets jealous of Wilson's fluffy cat receiving more attention than him. 🙄

FMA - Edward Elric/Winry Rockbell

Probably the first OTP I fell in love with HARD. I've written a lot of stories for them. I have a fic collection of 101 stories, I think, plus one shots and some chapter fics I didn't finish, unfortunately, but the ideas are still there. They are ridiculous and I mean that in the sweetest way because Ed is horrible at expressing how he feels, so he proposed to Winry in terms of alchemy. And Winry was like girl, I'll just give you my whole life. LMFAO. This ship is amazing. Winry figures it out by herself. Nobody told her she loves Ed, she did that herself. She accepted it herself. She focuses on her work while also supporting Ed. Ed also does his part by protecting her, being there for her, trusting her skills, promising her that the next time he makes her cry it'll be with tears of joy, etc. They both did their part. They both played their roles in the story, stayed objective, and still managed to be there for each other. Winry is waifu for laifu 🫰. And Ed is so lucky to have her, he loves her. He was so flustered he recited the elements from the periodic table. What a DORK. I love them.

Edward could hear his heart thudding in his ears. It had been a few months since he had been away from Resembool. Away from Winry. The vision of her ice blue eyes and her blonde hair framing her blushing face made Ed twist in his seat. He could see the train station coming into view. Then he saw her, pacing on the platform. Of course, she would be there, Winry was always there for him. His palms started to sweat. Ed didn’t like being nervous. But how could he not be? He practically proposed to Winry when he left last time and she agreed. He had an almost fiancé.

“An almost fiancé.” Ed laughed at himself. It sounded dumb but his heart started racing even more. His stomach twisted into knots as the train started to slow. Ed could see Winry’s face light up when they made eye contact through his open window. If he could freeze time and keep that image on the precipice of his vision forever, he would.

The train came to a full stop. Ed felt as heavy as he did when he got his arm and leg back from the other side. Every step he took towards the door to exit, the sounds of the train station, the train, and the passengers all faded into silence. Even the beating of his anxious heart seemed to go silent in his ears.

Sunlight hit his eyes and he shaded them with his arm, squeezing his briefcase tightly in his left hand. If he thought the sun was bright then Winry’s radiant smile put it to shame. It was a smile for him. He took a step and tossed his briefcase to the side. Winry squealed as she ran to him and collided into him with a hug.

“Edward! You’ve been gone so long!” Winry cried out, squeezing his neck. Ed smiled. He wrapped his arms around her waist and snuggled into her hair.

“Well it sounds like you missed me. I can’t even imagine that.” He laughed as she stuck her tongue out at him. Winry pulled away and he desperately missed her warmth. She turned to grab his suitcase. Ed felt the world stop. He felt frozen to his spot but finally he let out the breath he was holding. Slowly his knee hit the ground and he could feel his face heat up. He couldn’t believe he was doing this on a train platform. In front of curious on-lookers. In front of God himself. The box in his pocket was burning a hole in his palm as he reached for it.

“Edward come—” Winry turned to him and looked down.

“Winry Rockbell,” Ed started, sweat beading on his back. For a winter day it felt rather warm, “I messed this up last time. But I w-want to give you eighty-five percent of my life for eighty-five of y-yours.” He stuttered out. Winry’s blue eyes widen and he could see her tears slowly trickling down her cheeks. Once again, his suitcase was toss aside as Winry jumped on Ed, knocking them both onto the platform.

“Of course, stupid! Yes!” Winry exclaimed, crying on Ed’s shoulder.

Edward took back what he thought earlier. This would be the moment he would want to be part of forever. Winry trembling in his arms from tears of happiness and laughter. The simple silver band fitting perfectly on her finger, forever always, inscribed on the inside. Forever his and he prayed to not ever mess this up. Frozen in time and he didn’t mind.

💝 How long until they feel secure and comfortable in a relationship?

     It takes quite a while, honestly - not because Ed’s the type to not trust his partner or anything, but because he is the type to over analyze absolutely everything that he wants to say or do. For whatever reason, his brain is wired to look at most things scientifically. Romantic relationships? They aren’t something that he can easily look at in that way. There’s no theory or formula for that sort of thing, so what does he do instead?

     Internally panic for the first little while until he learns to chill the hell out and stop overthinking everything that he does.

     It probably takes a lot of patience on his partner’s side to deal with. He tends to be pretty hard to understand when he’s trying to do romantic, and most of the time, he’s actually more successful with it when he’s not trying to be. Long story short though: he takes a fair amount of time in the beginning, just because he’s pretty certain that he’ll somehow manage to screw it up.
