in no particular order but first things first OFC my wife @delzinrowe !!! 🩷🩷🩷 having her as my nanami flowershop anon changed this blog in such an exciting way. i looked forward (and still do) to any messages from the mysterious and sweet anon and i’m so grateful to have met her now!! she’s incredibly talented and so easy to talk to i genuinely love love love her!!! she deserves so much more recognition and interaction. but rn it feels like she’s my special secret 😂🫶

okay so ive literally just reblogged a couple tags about it but my stars in a jar au is LITERALLY the au that takes up all of my brainspace i cant function as a human being. i just. okay okay let me go step by step.

the plot: its one month post season 1. no idea what is to come, their routine starting to become softer and kinder and Getting Used To More Freedom, whennnnnn SHAX TAKES THE FLAT. very early. i actually believe shax took the flat way later in canon, but for the sake of this au, we’re making it a month after the apocalypse. so crowley is displaced rather violently, and because of this, aziraphale notices. and still high off of Saving The World, he decides not to wait for crowley to bring it up and decides to Make (very heavy quotations, more like “offer directly”)crowley move in with him. but he’s a coward /aff so he comes up with a Plan to not have to ask crowley directly ! rhetorical question: do you know pride and prejudice? and how jane gets sick and ends up staying with the bingleys and finding her husband ? aziraphale decides to do the SAME THING, but SO MUCH WORSE. whump and shenanigans ensue !

so. we have it all ! historical minisodes, misunderstandings, talking, coffee, nightmares, stars, home alone and romcom type shenanigans, crowley being off screen INSANE, and heaven trying to butt into their business but NO ONE is having it. ive written the first act—about 30k words, already on ao3–and plan three acts of similar length, so im probably gonna end up with like 90-100k ish. im a decent chunk in and we’ve barely begun the action ! also the REASON why it’s my favorite is well—EVERYTHING. the talking they’ll do, the involvement of other characters, heaven being heaven, crowley being INSANE, aziraphale suffering but also chilling and grappling with his sense of self, the Plot that we have yet o get to, the whump, the domesticy, the EEEEEEEE YEAH!!!!! ITS COOL!!!!! i cant wait to get more along with it, and we’re still prettye arly in, so im excited to get deeper into it :D theresso much more i wanna say but im sooooo tired and really?? i have to write it to really SHOW what i wanna show. so just be aware this be a lot longer if i could be coherent 🫵

ok so yes I am stealing this type of concept from myself. and yes it is obvious that i love this type of trope ahfknd

so basically i just immediately imagine how adorable it'd be if dream coming across a species of egg he wants to take care of, that instead of heat and warmth to hatch it needs happiness/laughter.

eeeeeeee :((( all i can imagine is just c!dream (or any variation of dream) finding these eggs and are like "yes 🥺 mine now" like some deep parental instincts take over that he can't explain

and after this he spends h o u r s trying looking and researching through book after book to find a look alike so he can identify what eggs they are. otherwise how will he know how to take care of them!

the one who finds them is actually george ! who was helping dream research after the younger had begged him to ahfkbsjs and when he thinks he's found it he just grins and goes to tell dream the good news

dream is ecstatic to have an answer! so much so he doesn't really realize the circumstances. like "dream, i don't mean to ruin the celebration and be the voice of reason, but the eggs need levels of serotonin from the caretaker, including genuine laughter. do you have a plan of how to do that?" george asks this with an eyebrow raised. he himself already has an idea they could go with but he wants to see what dream will think of

dream goes silent in thought. he could get sapnap to chat with him maybe. surely if they have a fun conversation there's sure to be bits of laughter in between right? he looks to george though. he knows his friend well and he knows when the other has an idea

when george tells him what he's thinking, he expects dream to outright refuse or at least go defensive but he *doesn't*. he wants so badly to be a good caretaker to these eggs he's totally willing. and in fact he's actually a little excited to try! from now on daily, or at the very least every other day, as dream holds the eggs and gives them warmth or care he'll have to have someone lightly tickle him to get the laughter the eggs need :(

they don't go overboard, not much is needed. most of the time it's just high pitched titters and quick giggles, something to do to unwind at the end of the day :((((

literally the whole time dream is giggly and slightly whiny when the tickles gets to be too much or too fast. he doesn't wanna hurt the eggs! dream holds them close to his chest and a comforting hug. his eyes are closed and his cheeks are super red. he and george engage in little bits of small talk here and there but mostly it's just cooing and teases met with embarrassed complaining and giggly comment about how it tickles :( the eggs always hum in happiness to all the laughter <3

also hcing that caring for the eggs makes dream an absolute softy. which he’s ok to show in front of george. but absolutely in denial about it when it comes to showing others. despite their being nothing logical about adopting this egg, he will still manage to find a way to explain his reasoning without admitting that everything about his decision was one made from the heart. he just wanted egg to care for :(

Spark Gone AU

Okay so I already have playlists for this AU well they're in progress and i already have an idea abt what it is and the design (im just not very artsy like that TvT)

Splinter and Draxum take care of the turtles but they're always fighting and the fights have even gotten physical before. All and all its not a very good environment.

As for the boys, they mostly live in the sewers but frequently go to Big Mama's hotel to escape it.

In this AU Mikey is no longer the sunshine character, as much as he would like to he just... isn't. Instead a girl named Vicki (my besties oc) is. She lives with her father and step-mother and has a good environment, however, every other week she goes to stay with her mom and step-dad which is not exactly a good environment.

Donnie is often getting in fights WITH his two dads. He's sick of it but at the same time doesn't care. Still, he gets in between them which hes never ended well. If he doesn't feel like getting in the fight Leo told him not to and he needed to heal he'll lock himself in his lab and work, ignoring it as much as he can.

Leo is still the medic, actually he's really good. That comes from practice though. He would/will patch up his dads and Donnie after their fights. Its would always be so brutal, he was glad they at least were good fighters, at the same time though he wished they wouldn't fight at all. When they start arguing he goes to the med bay and starts to prep wondering if it'll ever end.

Raph is the oldest and is normally taking care of his brothers, making sure they are fed, that the have clean clothes, etc., etc. He protects them, tries to keep them out of trouble. Raph normally stays im his room or with one of his brothers. When his dads start to fight he just tries to ignore it by meditating or training.

Mikey spends most his time out of the lair. In the Hidden City, Big Mama's hotel, New York City roof tops, anywhere that wasn't home. He hated when they fought and hated hearing it. When he's on roof tops he listens to music and sketch's. He used to dance and he was a beautiful dancer at that. When Splints and Draxum fight Mikey leaves the lair, if he can't leave then he goes to Donnie's lab with his headphones and turn the volume all the way up.

Mikey has also thrown away his ballet shoes and no longer dances, only he knows why.

The boys have gone to school before but are now home schooled. They went to April's school thanks to Big Mama giving them cloaking broaches.

VICKI! okay so she has step parents on both sides. She lives with her dad and step-mom which is a pretty good environment. Every other week she goes to her mom and step-dads, which is not. They are always drunk and fighting. When she meets the turtles shes like "okay if i can't fix my family i can try here" she pretty much gives them their spark back.

So I’ve been loving it the whole time.

The parts with Leo in the beginning I was always like “aye brother don’t try nun I hope you don’t like me or nun” aND THE MUSUEM PART THAT DONNIE SAW? I WAS LIKE NOOO DONNIE DONT TURN AWAY YES YES KEEP WATCHING ITS A MISUNDERSTANDING BUT HE DIPPED LAST SECOND AND I WAS LIKE AAAAAAAAAA

AND WHEN HE SCRAPPED WITH LEO LATER I WAS LIKE SHIIIIIIT AAAAN I was tbh terrified like oh no they’re fighting cause I’m a sensitive lil scaredy-lass and if I saw them fighting I woulda dipped and been tERRFIIED of homeboy cause I’m just that much of a finicky lil thing

and oh my gosh oh my goooosh the plant helping scene? So adorable, and the date?? THE PLUSHIES? THE MAGNETIC PLUSHIES SO TOTALLY GOT ME KICKING MY FEET IM SUCH A SUCKER FOR MATCHING ITEMS EEEEEEK

The rock trip, I was so like “that’s gotta be amethyst, it’s always amethyst!” AND IT WAS EEEEE AND THE WAY THAT TRIP ENDED? Screaming actually screaming.

The ice skating was a confidence booster because canonically I’m horrible at skating and balance so to imagine myself beating DONNIE? Actually screaming !!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH AND THE WALK IN THE PARK? I WAS ROLLING LIKE NOOOO DONT BREAK IT OFF EEEE AND HOW HE WAS SO GIDDY???

AND THE FLOWER DAYE!!! At first I was like “eh, it could’ve ended at the walk in the park and still been a satisfying end” BUT THEN I KEPT READING AND I JHHHSJSJJDJDD THE LITTLE FIGHT I WAS LIKE oh shit crab man, I woulda screamed, BUT THEY HAD SUCH A NORMAL CONVERSATION? anD THE ENDING OUTSIDE OF TONY PIZZA IM ACTUALLY SCREAMING AND KICKING MY FEET EEEEEEEE I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

Man, I don't understand how some people think table top RPG's are lame. Sure some games don't click as well, or you end up developing a character in a way that doesn't suit the game or write up the wrong character, but it is so, so much fun.

It's so wonderful to see my friends on the regular and catch up and bullshit with them. But at the same time it's so good to play with them. To laugh and rage and cry together.

The current game I'm in is a Werewolf the Apocalypse one and our group is taking such a different approach than our typical hack/slash and honestly it's one of the best games we've had in a long time. Of course a big part of that is because of the hard and ongoing work of our DM, the plot lines and stories he comes up with for us. But some of that is us too, the depth and care and focus we put into discovering these plots and stories and seeing them to the end if we can. How well we're working together, how we're focusing on the different aspects instead of just how quick and good we can kill the next evil creature in front of us.

And I'm having so much fun, I really hope that we can continue to the point that our characters reach their final levels. It would be super cool to see a character to that point, and not just write one up at that level.
