Okay so I'm changing Eeterna from a kwami to an essent, who was formed immediately after the Alpha kwamis divided. Eeterna, alongside Diium, are the essents of Time and Elements, and are a result of the merging neutral energies from the Alpha kwamis. Like the essents before the Alphas they were unstable beings, and eventually divided into the kwamis now known as the Timekeepers and Elementals.

Each one is the descendant of the energy of two Alpha kwamis that are not opposites, making these kwamis more powerful than Deltas, and also stemming from two "parent" concepts. It was the division of Eeterna and Diium that eventually lead Alpha kwamis to learn to fragment their own auras, which resulted in the formation of the Delta kwamis.

Hey big fan of you and i have a question? could you maybe do like an Explenation on all of the time miraculouse on like what they do specifically i would really appreciate if you would do that.

The Timekeepers came to be when an ancient Elemental kwami of Time named Eeterna split her essence near the beginning of the universe into multiple kwamis who control various aspects of Time, known as Timekeepers. Timekeepers are about as powerful as Delta kwamis in terms of raw power, but thanks to their various ways to manipulate of time the impacts they can leave are some of the most potent among kwamis. There are twelve Timekeepers currently on earth.

Fluff the Rabbit of Evolution: Arguably the most powerful Timekeeper, Fluff's powers allow a holder to travel to any point in time relative to their location. This allows them to interfere with past and future events, learn key knowledge, and act almost as an all seeing eye. Fortunately its nearly impossible for this Miraculous to fall into the wrong hands, as other Rabbit holders will instantly interfere. Unlike many Miraculous holders they aren't focused on the world, but rather the flow of time itself, and will follow Fluff's direction to keep time progressing.

Shaash the Bear of Preservation: The Bear Miraculous is often see as the opposite or counter of the Rabbit; like the Rabbit it can acess a unique pocketspace known as the Den that lets them view any moment of time. Instead of traveling through time, however, the Bear is able to Preserve moments in time that make them unchangeable to outside forces, including interference from the Rabbit and other Timekeepers. Bear holders are charged with securing major historical events and important moments in time.

Antiqq the Aurochs of Reversion: Antiqq's powers are linked specifically to rewinding time, which she can do with everything, or have it affect only one target instead. When rewinding time it starts from the moment they're affected and moves backwards from there, they cannot just jump to any moment in the past.

Keena the Lynx of Intuition: Keena's powers give one an immediate understanding of the future, either through glimpses of visions or through powerful feelings that act as warning for upcoming events. Usually these powers focus on such close upcoming moments that they aren't easily subjected to change like other powers linked to the future.

Sass the Cobra of Opportunity: This Miraculous mark a moment in time that one can repeatedly return too, allowing them to change the outcome of immediate future events until they get the desired results. More powerful holders can also create time loops that can repeat a single day to allow for longer moments to work, though these are harder to break free from.

Apple the Red Panda of Lineage: The Ped Panda Miraculous can travel through time, but is closely linked to bloodline when it comes to using such powers. This makes one able to move forward or backwards through time, to either when their direct ancestor or descendant is. Unlike many powers there is no simple way to undo this time jump, though Apple himself can send a person back to their own time if they so wish.

Zipp the Dragonfly of Progression: Zipp's power speeds up time around themselves, essentially allowing them to fast-forward reality around them. They can also choose to only speed up time for themselves, appearing to have superspeed to those watching on.

Passtel the Snail of Patience: The Snail's powers are able to slow down time, either to the reality around them, allowing them to view the present in what appears to be slow motion, or they can slow down specific targets without impacting those around them.

Allta the Frog of Change: This Miraculous can show the future, specifically the many possible futures out there rather than the most likely. Under the Frog one can see multiple options of their own future, either the immediate or what can be years away, based on the different choices and Changes one can will make.

Frostt the Penguin of Stagnation: Frostt's power is able to freeze time, either with reality as a whole leaving the user unaffected, or with this power targeting a single person. Anything that is frozen in time however cannot be moved or manipulated.

Faae the Spider of Destiny: Faae's Miraculous let's one see the most likely future, and the fate of what lays ahead in one's life. These powers often manifest as visions, and while highly likely they aren't set in stone. This Miraculous also can give you a sense of what a person is like and what path they are taking in life.

Mataara the Tuatara of History: This Miraculous let's one look into the past. They can either do this through physical contact and see things for themselves, or they can manifest a ghostly image of events for all to see.

All actions from Timekeepers can be overridden by a Wish, and Timekeepers' powers cannot prevent a Wish from happening.

If Eeterna had never explit into the timekeepers, how things would be ? She would have a miraculous? If yes, the Mage would hid her in the Forgotten Box ( because, frankly, a miraculous of time would be very overpowered) or it would be necessary for her to stay on Earth to watch over for dangerous events that can happen in history, like Fluff does ?

I think Eeterna definitely would have wanted a Miraculous if she was around for earth, seeing how many kwamis came to earth along with how it impacted them she'd know that earth would play an important part in kwami history and wouldn't want to miss it.

On one hand I could see the Mage wanting her to go into the Forgotten Box with her powers, but on the other hand I don't think Eeterna would want to do that, and the Mage wouldn't force any kwami into that. And while a Miraculous with complete power over all aspects of Time would indeed be overpowered, the knowledge/foresight that would come with those abilities could easily be used to prevent it from falling into dangerous hands much like the Rabbit can, making the overall risk minimal by the nature of those powers.

If Eeterna was on earth I could see things going one of two ways. I think either she'd have one single holder for her entire time on earth (time travel preventing the need of multiple holders) who she'd completely trust, most likely a Heartbeat (which she'd probably be able to locate in time fairly easily with her powers. The second option I could see is Eeterna flat out never having a holder at all, and acting as her own force with a role much like oracles and seers play in stories, with people coming to her for knowledge and advice to act on, while she's just an observer.

If Eeterna had never explit into the timekeepers, how they would look like ?

That's a good question. Eeterna split long before there was any earth life, let alone any alien life in the universe, so she didn't really have any animal form at the time. (Or gender identity for that matter, but the Timekeepers view her as a mother figure, and if she did make it to modern times I would probably use she/her for her... so that's what I'm going to use.)

Color wise I'd probably pick an icy blue for her main color, with yellow as a secondary. Elements I'd probably would include in her design would be a long tail in the shape of an infinity symbol, and perhaps a third eye of some kind? As for what animal she'd look like though, I honestly don't know.

Since Eeterna is an Elemental that means her animal form would either be a mythical animal or a long-extinct one, something that I would headcanon with magical powers. Some possible options could be some scrapped animal ideas I used for Elementals in the past; such as a Chalkydri or Tulikettu.

Then of course she could be a mythical creature that represents time, but in my research I haven't found too many that don't have direct links to time. There's the Ouroboros, a snake/dragon that symbolizes time, any variation of the nine-tailed fox myths which often has the foxes able to live for 1000+ years, then perhaps any mythical animal said to be immortal could also work. Ouroboros is probably the closest fitting one to directly symbolizing time, but it probably wouldn't be one I choose seeing as we already have a Dragon and Feathered Serpent in the Elemental line up.

Then it could be flat out just be well known mythical animals that I haven't used in my line up at all. Sphinx, Jackalope, Bunyip, Pegasus, etc. There's a lot of serpentine ones too (hydra, baslkik, western dragon; but like I said before I wouldn't want too many serpents in the lineup). There's also more humanoid possibilities such as centaurs, satyr, fairies, and minotaurs, though honestly I personally probably wouldn't choose one of these. The closest I have to a humanoid is my Yeti.

Though speaking of humans, perhaps one could argue a Human kwami for a Timekeeper. They're definitely magic users in the story, and who's to say humans aren't a good representation of Time? We have invented so many different ways of measuring and tracking time, we have looked deep into the past and try to predict the future just to understand our world. Though I probably wouldn't make a Human kwami solely because I wouldn't know how to design one. (There's a reason why Chadd was a stick figure. xD)

Finally I could see Eeterna being represented with an extinct animal much like my Dinosaur and Pterosaur kwami, because what better symbol for Time than an animal of the ancient past being known and admired in the present? I could imagine an animal like a Plesiosaur (like the Loch Ness Monster or other similar lake monsters), since they are both a real ancient animal and a common cryptid that's said to have survived for millions of years; which again would be fitting for a symbol of time.

That ended up being a little long... but honestly I don't know what animal I would choose for Eeterna at this point.

So all the timekeepers used to be the oldest elemental kwami, excluding Uunice ?

Yes. All the Elementals are very close to the same age, but Eeterna was the oldest originally, and now it is Uunice after the Timekeepers came along.

How about the other alphas? Also, do the elementals and timekeepers not come from the alphas?

Elementals come from Neutral Energy, which is the leftover energy from when the Alpha kwamis first divided. So yes they come from Alphas, but not from a certain one in particular. Timekeepers also come from Neutral Energy, but they are descended from a former Elemental, Eeterna, the kwami of Time, who divided to become the Timekeepers.

i have 2 questions; 1. so we know that tikki and plagg form gimmi(the kwami of reality) when they are merged, could you please tell us what happens when the other alphas are merged with there duo. 2. what happens to the mergence when the due that forms it is currently not merged. does it like just soughta sit in a magical kwami realm and wait or somthing.

Beings like Gimmi I call "essents" in my AU, just to make them more distinct from the kwamis.

-When Vitaa and Shii merge they become Dessar, the essent of Existence. -When Graay and Prrysm merge they become Sikeen, the essent of Balance. -When Stellar and Koree merge they become Reequa, the essent of Infinity. -When all Timekeepers unite they become Eeterna, the Elemental kwami of Time. -When Tikki, Vitaa, Graay, and Stellar are merged they become Evree, an essent of pure positive energy. -When Plagg, Shii, Prrysm, and Koree merge they become Null, an essent of pure negative energy. -When all Elemental kwamis merge they become Leebra, the essent of pure neutral energy. -When all the Alphas merge they become Omnii, the transcendent of the Universe.

Their name origins are: Dessar being based on the word "desire", Sikeen on "seeking", Reequa on "request", Eeterna is based on "eternal", Evree on "every", Null is literally "null", and Leebra is based on "libra". Omnii is based on the prefix "-omni" (credit to @silverslate221 for the name!).

The thing is the essent and the Alpha Duo are all the same being. Different individuals, yes, but they are all One at the same time. Gimmi doesn't go to any other realm, as they simply become Tikki and Plagg when the mergence no longer takes place, Gimmi dividing into two.

Gimmi is Tikki and Plagg. Plagg and Tikki are Gimmi.

When a mergence isn't in place, Gimmi does not experience existence. Their essence is split into two separate beings, who are the ones in existence. It is the same but opposite for the kwamis too, when they are merged Tikki and Plagg do not experience their own existence, as a completely different individual is experiencing their reality. They are all tied to the same essence, Tikki and Plagg being two different halves, and Gimmi being their whole. They are themselves, but what makes up their existence is tied together as one.

The only thing that can carry over between mergence and unmerging is memories. Gimmi call recall all that Tikki and Plagg experienced with ease, but they do not view the world the same as Tikki and Plagg because they have their own perspective, thoughts, and feelings on things. Tikki and Plagg can also recalls small bits of Gimmi's memory, but it is more fractured since its divided between the two of them.

Gimmi could look at Marinette and Adrien and have full awareness of who they are, what lives they are living, and what their names are; as Tikki and Plagg know them well. However Gimmi would feel no affection or connection to Marinette and Adrien as Gimmi themself has never personally gotten to know them. Plagg and Tikki would be well aware of a Wish Gimmi has granted, but would probably never agree with the fact that Gimmi actually granted it, while Gimmi is mostly very accepting with the reality of granting Wishes.

Gimmi is very different from Tikki and Plagg in personality. Gimmi acts a lot like a young child as their time being aware as been so limited compared to the billions of years Tikki and Plagg have been continuously aware and active in the universe. Gimmi understands the universe from the memories of the kwamis they merged from, but they have not truly experienced it for themselves at the same time.

In short, it is very complicated and hard for humans to perceive the existence of an Alpha Duo and their essent with full understanding: but they are all one being, simply divided or merged into different individuals at different times.

Okay long post time! There's a TL;DR at the bottom because... long. xD

So, there are three levels of entities that make up the universe. The first is a Transcendent, who can then further divide into Essents, who from there can divide into Kwamis. Kwamis can either split their concept further into more kwamis, or can create new Kwamis that are aspects of their concepts without further dividing. Each level of division creates a being whose concept/domain/embodiment is more intricate than what came before.

The one and only Transcendent is a being that the kwamis call Omnii, who embodies the Universe as a whole. Omnii did not have a name in its time, as Omni did not have a conscious or a sense of self. At this point Memories, Psyche, or even Time did not exist. Kwamis themselves barely understand the full concept of Omnii, and have more of a vague awareness that it once existed.

Omnii divided and reformed many times when it was, and this was when Essents came to be. Like Omnii, at this point Essents did not have any sense of self. There were just vast forces of raw power and energy. Essents embody very vast domains, which often changed depending on how Omnii divided its form. At times it was divided into Negative and Positive energy, other times it became things that embodied other aspects. Being and Matter. Existence, Reality, Balance, Infinity. Sometimes it would only divide a part from itself, creating an Essent that could not remain for long. All that came with these Essents were never stable, and it always collapsed back into Omnii.

This changed when the Essents themselves divided, creating beings that represented more fine concepts; which is what created the Kwamis. The Essents themselves were too vast, but by dividing further they created two opposite forces that were once one Essent. Forces of a whole that could act on their own, and create a stability that wasn't there before.

From Existence came Life and Death. From Reality came Creation and Destruction. From Balance came Order and Chaos. From Infinity came Space and Void. And from them came the foundation of the known universe, this splitting of the Essents into Kwamis creating the event that humans would came to call the Big Bang.

Omnii at one point split into Positive and Negative energy Essents, but they were not stable. Instead it split into Essents that encompassed both of this energies (these being Existence, Reality, Balance, and Infinity), and then when they divided they split into more refined concepts with one made from pure negative and one pure positive energy, each of these halves creating the Alpha Duos.

This splitting however resulted with a release of pure neutral energy spreading out into the universe, which formed the youngest Essent, Leebra, Essent of Neutral Energy. Like other Essents however Leebra was not stable, and soon divided into Kwamis as well. Kwamis like Eeterna, the Kwami of Time; and Uunice Kwami of Magic; Leebra becoming all of the Elemental Kwamis.

At this point only the Alpha Kwamis and Elemental Kwamis existed in the universe, and like the Essents that came before them they were raw forces of power and not individual beings with thoughts and personalities. They too did not have their names at this point, as these would come billions of years later.

The only Kwami with any form of awareness at this point would be Eeterna, the Elemental Kwami of Time. They did not have an awareness of self or anything like the life seen in the universe today, but Eeterna embodied all aspects of Time. It was likely every single moment ever to exist in the universe was their reality all at once, meaning this being had a full awareness of all that would happen in existence. Because of this they were... aware, for lack of a better word, that the Kwami of Time would not exist for long. So like the Essents they came from Eeterna too divided (being the only kwami to do so), creating all the Timekeepers, who embody finer aspects of Time.

From this point on the universe, and thus the Kwamis themselves, became more complex. These kwamis however, did not divide like Eeterna or Essents, but new concepts were still being formed as the universe grew, and thus new forces for these concepts came into existence. Instead of being new beings divided from higher ones, they were beings that branched off from the Alphas Kwamis. The Alphas still existed, but had finer aspects of their domain representing these new concepts, thus creating the Delta Kwamis. And of course as new concepts came, so did traits like individuality and consciousness, leading to the kwamis we know today. Delta kwamis can also have younger kwamis be branches of their concepts (like the Kwamis of Love, Sorrow, Hope, etc being aspects of the Kwami of Emotion, who is an aspect of the kwami of Life).

While when Essents first existed they had no consciousness of any kind, they have been able to experience awareness when the Alpha kwamis do merge together, by drawing on the memories of the kwamis that merged. This leads to a strange instance where Essents are technically the older and more powerful being, but act much younger and more naive of living with such a complex understanding as they've spent little time in this state. And they cannot spend much time like this, as they are still very unstable compared to kwamis and can only stay merged for a limited amount of time.

In theory any Alpha kwami can merge with any Alpha, but its vary rare that they do so outside of their Alpha Duo. The most common mergance outside of the Duo would be with Alphas of the same energy as them. The only combos that will get names are Alpha Duos merging, all Alphas of the same energy merging, and I also do have names for the physical Alpha Duos (Creation, Destruction, Space, and Void) merging along the spiritual Alpha Duos (Life, Death, Order, Chaos), but honestly I don't think those mergences will have any role in this AU story wise or lore wise. (If you are curious though their names are Ress the Essent of Matter for the Alphas that embody physical aspects and then Ibbi the Essent of Being for the Alphas that embody spiritual aspects.)

The only other kwamis that can merge are the Elementals, but only with each other and if all the Elementals are there... which they aren't because Eeterna divided into the Timekeepers. It is currently unknown if the Timekeepers can undergo a mergence themselves to become Eeterna again, since Eeterna was a kwami and not an Essent, and therefore a stable being.

TL;DR: A Transcendent named Omnii kept dividing into beings called Essents were who unstable and would collapse back into Omnii. One day four of the Essents divided into the Alpha Kwamis, who were stable beings that created the Big Bang and one more Essent who divided into the Elemental kwamis. One Elemental of Time divided into the Timekeepers, then new kwamis started popping up as the universe grew giving us the Delta Kwamis.
