I have a question: how exactly did Nina, Kidd and Killer come up with the name "Ozymandias" (Ozzy)? Was it someone from the crew's idea or is it just some sort of joke name?

Hii! I have both intra and extra diegetic answers for this.

Extra diegetic: I wanted ChainsawMetalKiller sons names that fit the punk / rock global theme of the Kid pirates crew. I thought of Ozzy for Ozzy Osbourne and Ziggy for Ziggy stardust. While I was writing Nina's pregnancy I discovered the poem Ozymandias by Percy Bisshe Shelley:

And on the pedestal these words appear: 'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, Ye Mighty, and despair!'

And I thought it was fitting for someone with a big ego like Kid to name his son "king of the kings" .

Intra diegetic : I like to think that Kid found this poem randomly somewhere, maybe lurking in a book Killer was reading or gathering informations about the new world, and thought the name slapped because of the "king of the kings" stuff. And what's very fitting to Kid character for me is that the poem is actually about how looking for power and glory is vain because everything you built will be forgotten in the end and I like to think he didn't understand, or chose to not understand this part.
