Eidfjordvatnet by Tony Via Flickr: About four miles walking from Iedfjiord and the end of the lake above Eidfjord, with lovely views of the mountains. I started the walk ready for chilly weather, but the sun came out and I had to take my large coat and jumper off. One of the most beautiful walks I have done.

Der See #Eidfjordvatnet ist ca. 2 km vom Zentrum von #Eidfjord entfernt. Ein schöner Wanderweg führt zum See und zum Strand. Ein toller Ort zum #entspannen. Leider war das Wasser eiskalt 🥶, dafür war das Wetter wunderschön. Ein Besuch ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert 💙💙⁣ ⁣ You’ll reach the beautiful lake Eidfjordvatnet and sandy beach after 2 km from the center of Eidfjord. A nice hiking trail leads you to the lake. A very beautiful place for #relaxing and #bathing (the water was less than 10°C 🥶) 💙💙⁣ ⁣

Nature Centre by Tony Via Flickr: The end of my walk up the road was the small town of Øvre Eidfjord and the Hardangervidda Nature centre. In the building a five screen screeens a film displaying the nature in the mountains and plateau. There are also tableua display shoing the nature through the millenia.
