Ejdfjord North of Sorfjord lies the Ejdfjord, the second inner arm of the larger Hardangenfjord. This one is even more spectacular then the former with higher mountains, almost vertical walls, and absolutely stunning landscapes all around. Ejdfjord is 29km long. There is also a small village named Eidfjord at the northern part, an idyllic little settlement surrounded by pristine scenery. Das hatte ich mir anders vorgestellt

Leider gestaltet sich die Internetsituation hier wirklich anders als gehofft. Gefühlt hat man kein mobiles Netz alsbald man das Schiff betritt. Es wird alles abgeschirmt. Zwar hat das Schiff wie gesagt ein Schiffs-WiFi aber die Social Media Flat beinhaltet leider nur WhatsApp und Facebook für uns :( Tagsüber wenn man auf den Außendecks die Möglichkeit hätte das Netz zu nutzen ist man auf Ausflügen und Abends wenn es zur nächsten Destination geht ist man zu weit von der Küste entfernt oder zu tief im Fjord als dass man vernünftiges mobiles Netz bekommt. Es ist ein wenig frustrierend, da ich mir eigentlich vorgestellt hatte den Blog mehr oder weniger tagaktuell zu halten. Leider ist das nicht möglich. Daher schreibe ich jetzt einiges nach...aus der Lakai Bar auf Deck 7 der Perla...mit Blick in den wunderschönen Eidfjord (Bilder folgen später, zumindest die Chronologie soll bestehen bleiben.) Für alle die fleißig mitlesen...es tut mir wirklich leid dass das alles so zeitlich versetzt kommt. Ich hoffe ihr seht es mir nach.

The mountain at image centre is Oksen. It sits at the confluence of the Eidfjord, Sørfjord, Granvinsfjord and Indre Samlafjord arms of the Hardangerfjord.
