Their relationship is vaguely similar to I think, Mammon and Fizz?? Somewhat, I mean I've never watched Helluva but I've seen people talk about it, Vaggie feels indebted to Velvette for getting her to where she is right now yk with being a popular star, and Velvette is. Interesting

Velvette often switches back and forth between treating Vaggie like a bestie and just another demon working under her, and previously before Charlie came into the picture, sometimes like a girlfriend, which leaves Vaggie constantly confused

Velvette often overworks Vaggie to hell and back, but honestly she kinda? means well? A teensy bit, she doesn't want Vaggie to fall from popularity if she leaves the public eye for too long, and Vaggie does like performing/singing and the praise she often gets from it (even if she gets overwhelmed sometimes) so in a way she's trying to help her maintain the fame and praise that Vaggie often seemed to preen over, so in a fucked up way, in her eyes, she's trying to keep her happy and to keep up everything they both have worked hard for (Vaggie's career). She's also like, really into Vaggie but she gave up on that pursuit a bit ago, doesn't stop her from being petty and toxic about it tho

Vaggie is tired and confused, to say the least. She doesn't really know what Velvette actually thinks of her, if she values her in any way, or even care at all about her. Velvette tends to demean and sometimes verbally abuse Vaggie but the next day she tends to sort of make up for it, like she feels bad. In the early days, they were much closer, and Vaggie genuinely liked Velvette, and maybe had a little crush on her.

When Vaggie does good, Velvette showers her with praise, affection, and affirmation but is she slips up, she gets cold and mean, even a little shouty at times, and "honestly are you trying to embarrass me at this point?!" And Vaggie just stands there confused, ashamed, and a little pissed. Does she even see her as anything other than another asset for her brand? She can't tell. Sometimes it feels like she does, sometimes it doesn't. Vaggie is just so confused.

Velvette pushes her so much because she knows she can do better, but she constantly fails to take account Vaggie's limits, boundaries, and feelings, especially since Vaggie tends to mask her true feelings alot, keeping them all inside until they burst under the smallest addition of pressure, which makes her lash out at Velvette when Velvette didn't really deserve it at the moment, which makes Velvette think she's being unfair.

Vaggie feels that Vel is capable of being a better person, she just doesn't see that she's not one already, or that she needs to (or maybe she's just not worth it in her eyes?)

But neither hate the other, not really. Vaggie would like to, but she can't quite get there, while Velvette wouldn't even dream of genuinely hating Vaggie.

It's complicated, they're both fond of each other but also have a certain animosity between each other, esp Vaggie (rightfully so)

They are honestly both flaming messes, Velvette being the worst one of the two and also a part of the reason why Vaggie is a flaming mess aswell-

In short :Vel is a bad boss and a conflicting 'friend', and Vaggie is struggling through it

And Abt what Charlie thinks? She sincerely hopes Velvette explodes, she would do it herself but Vaggie still has an attachment to her (which Charlie sincerely hopes she'd lose, Vel isn't good for her, or much of anyone) so for now she just lets her be, but they always argue w/ each other (Vaggie just sigh tiredly in the background)

first of all, how rude.

What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them?

His resilience. Eifra is constantly seen as an easy target, and physically, he's not particularly strong, but he's endured a lot and has the ability to bounce back from just about anything.

What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

His kindness. It's the one thing he's most taken advantage for. He's aware of it, and people constantly warn him, but I don't think even he would choose to be different.

When scared, does your OC fight, flee, freeze or fawn?

All of the above lmao. Depends on the threat. He does naturally frighten easily, but he's also a very seasoned hunter. Even if he's afraid, he has the ability to temper his nerves to withstand a fight, but if he knows it's a fight he'll lose, he'll happily flee.

How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Eif would never endanger others, but he would put himself through a world of pain if he thought it would help someone he loves. Again, all depends on the context.

How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass?

Not... easily. He would have to be put in a very precarious position, to know it was his only option, or if someone's life depended on it. But he's also not so much of a goodie two shoes that his moral compass is swung so far to one side.

What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

Ah, this is a fun question. I think I mentioned before I actually intended for Eifra's PoV to only exist as an introduction to Zeh's. But instead he became pretty much the defacto protagonist and narrator for the sequel. I didn't expect to love Eifra as much as I did, and I got attached to him, both as a writer, but also through Zehel. In the same way that I fell in love with Yeryn's romance, Zehel and Eifra's relationship *is* the main dynamic of Arcaen'vel. Eifra is Zehel's crux. He's his driving force and he pushes both the plot and Zehel's character development forward. I went in thinking Zehel would be the main character in what I thought was his own story, but Eifra really had another plan (though I'm sure if I explained it that way to him, he'd disagree and hold Zeh's pedestal that much higher lmao). The two share the spotlight in different ways. But if you asked me like three years ago if I thought the successor to Yeryn's line would be some random hybrid kiddo I'd have slapped your face.

Would your OC ostensibly be able to get away with murder?

NO lmfao. Eifra would never just commit murder. But he certainly wouldn't have the braincells to get out of it if he did.

Do you have a specific lyric or quote which you associate with your OC?

Yes! Zehel's theme for Eifra is "A Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay, and I can literally not listen to this song without thinking of him. "Cuz you get lighter the more it gets dark, I'm gonna give you my heart."

What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

Tbh, I think Eif would work in any AU, but I'll have to choose the most boring and say I'd love to see him in a modern storyline with Zeh. Just because Eifra adapts so well to our timeline.

What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?

Bow and arrow. He can hunt well regardless, but his arrows are also the only way he can channel dragonfire. It's the only defense he has, not having been born with arcane magic.

Is your OC self-destructive? In what ways?

Yes, and no. I think he sometimes gives too much of himself away, but I wouldn't say he's actively tearing himself down. But he'd be willing to let people walk all over him if it'd make them happy and that's not a particularly healthy way to live, either.

If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

Probably LOL. I mean he's a much MUCH better person than me, but his self-deprecating humor is so relatable. He's a really uplifting person, which is actually the type of person I most enjoy being around, but he does lack the petty shittalk side I require my friendships to have so that I may thrive lmao.

How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

I don't think he much cares how other perceive him, but I think he'd like his friends to see him as reliable. Someone that can be depended on, even when things get difficult.

Does your OC have a faceclaim? If so, who?

We all know I don't do real human face claims, but I do have an artwork I pinned ages ago that encapsulates his vibes down to his stature and dress style, the only thing off about it is the hair, otherwise really spot on: here.

What is your OC's pain tolerance like?

Surprisingly high. Eifra has been through... shit. And he's conditioned himself for things most people have never had to. He's been forced to survive most of his life, and I think that gives someone a lot of internal strength. He also has an incredibly good hold of his mental. In a situation where he knew he'd have to endure something to save someone, he wouldn't even miss a beat.

Is your OC more cold and detached or up close and personal?

He's very personable, but honestly he understands people wanting space. He gets attached to Zehel so easily because he feels like he owes him his life (he kind of does lmao), so it's a bit of specific situation. Normally, Eifra is the type to only approach if asked, but he'd always be able to reply. He's incredibly charismatic.

How does your OC behave when enraged?

I think Eifra has only been truly angry a handful of times in his life. Only once severe enough to have some physical repercussion. Usually he lets things slide off him, and doesn't get caught up on negative feelings.

Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest?

Unsurprisingly not at all lmao.

Does your OC have any illnesses or disorders? How do they handle it?

Neither, but I suppose in the context of their world, he's sort of "broken". He's half elf, half dragon, but he was born magicless, and his wings never developed properly. He's also not able to shift into dragonform, which is usually something that gets bred out over many generations. As he's a "first generation" mix, this is exceedingly odd. He's the only known halflyn to have one dragon parent and not be able to shapeshift.

What character alignment would you consider your OC to be?

Lawful/Neutral Good

What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?

Desire. Eifra has an incredibly difficult time asking for anything, even if he needs those things to actually survive. He feels embarrassed and burdensome to ask favors of others, and hates to be indebted to them. He constantly sees himself as a weight holding back his friends, and would rather starve than to ask for money for food or anything similar.

What is your favorite thing about your OC?

His tenacity. Eifra is such a hard person to keep down, and even though I find these people really annoying irl, I think in stories, juxtaposed characters like Zeh, they become so much more likeable, and important. I think Eifra has a lot of qualities I gravitate to, but being in Zehel's head for almost four-hundred pages, my love and violent need to throw my life on line to protect Eif at all costs is so deeply engrained in me LOL. Zehel really following in Daddy's footsteps by being the world's second biggest simp, only in his case it exists within a platonic friendship, and honestly, I think it's the most fitting storyline I could have written for him.

So I know I got some followers from my Moon Knight fanfiction. (Don't know how to respond to that, but it's happening)

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in some other fics I gave started and just sitting around. (To have something while I work on the MK Fic)

One is a Matt Murdock x OC fic. Where the OC is this world's Spider person (Percy Parker) As well as Wilson's Fisk's niece. Starts with them meeting in college, and has so much angst. (My brain dose a weird thing wher eit can't keep two ideas separate)

Another is a TASM Peter Parker x OC. They met in college and a bit of a rushed slowburn, cause that's how it is. But later it's revealed OC has powers. Matt Murdock shows up at some point as a side character (I started watching Daredevil because eif this fic, and I paused writting this fic because of Daredevil)

Then there's this Loki x OC soulmate AU. For the part OC thinks they're crazy cause they have a voice in the head (Asgardians have a mental link tot heir soulmate while humans don't) OC then has an ongoing identity crisis and become a sorcerer. Sorta follows MCU cannon.

Then of course there's my collection of "The Asexual Agenda" which is a collection of One Shots of common / cliche fanfiction tropes, but the reader is Ace. (Don't have much of those but I would take requests)

I prefer x Oc's over x readers. I just feel like I have more freedom. If it was Y/N I feel like I can't really give them a back story or anything, cause of corse that won't match up for everyone, but I love gicine characters backstories. And it annoys me with x reader where Y/N dose something I wouldn't do, cause then that's just a bitch who has my name and face. So Oc's, all with their wagon of trauma.

Die Bahn kam zum stehen und die Türen gingen auf, doch ich ging nicht. Leute gingen raus und die anderen warteten reinzugehen, doch mich hielt etwas auf , ich wollte nicht. Ich wollte einfach nicht. Er machte keine Anstalten in die Bahn einzusteigen. Mach jz Viola, steig ein!! Was machst du da gleich ist die Bahn weg!! Dachte ich mir als ich kurz hinter mich linste und ihn ein letztes Mal ansah. Zu spät die Türen gingen zu, die Bahn war weg. Jetzt stand ich da wie ein idiot. Toll jz muss ich eine Stunde auf die nächste warten nur weil ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte. Junge hab ich das rausgezögert ey aber was hab ich bitte erwartet?

Mein Bauchgefühl drängte mich in die Bahn, ohne zu wissen wohin ich überhaupt fahre. Ich bin so naiv immer muss ich dem Schicksal entgegenwirken. Jz stand ich in der Bahn in die entgegengesetzte Richtung und wusste nicht mal ob er hier ist. Egal komm ich fahr eif wieder zurück, ist eh alle s unnötig. draußen ist es kalt hier wenisgtens warm und ich werd hier ja ganz sicher nicht nach ihn suchen. Ja, ja ich muss abschließen, es ist doch schon so lange her und er darf nicht so einen Einfluss auf mein Leben haben.

Ich setzte mich auf einen 4er Platz in der s2 und schaute nach einer Verbindung zurück zu mir nachhause, wo ich eingenrlich hin wollte. Jetzt erst realisierte ich dass es ja 3 Uhr nachts war , woww noch dümmer von mir nicht die Bahn zu nehmen. omg wie armselig…Idiot..Jz was nachhause zu finden könnte unmöglich sein ach maaaan. Wohin fährt diese Bahn überhaupt? Hofheim , ein Glück im Notfall lauf ich. Aber warte mal.. was macht er um 3 Uhr nachts eigentlich noch hier…ach wen juckts ich sollte mich nicht mit sowas beschäftigen, ich bin doch eine erwachsene Frau und vermutlich fährt er eh nur nachhause. die Bahn war ralicitv leer da hat man wenigstens seine Ruhe und muss sich nicht so gestresst fühlen .

Ohne zu überlegen stand ich auf ging ein paar Schritte auf ihn zu und war bereit zu schreien, doch jemand kam mir zuvor. Der Junge der gegenüber von mir saß war’s bereits aufgestanden und machte Anstalten auf ihn loszugehen. Zum Glück bin ich nicht allein, dachte ich mir wieder. Das alles ging so schnell ich stand nur ganz knapp hinter ihm als wir beide instinktiv schrien das er die fresse halten soll. "Outre une tendance croissante à la collaboration, déclare Brutelle, les perspectives sont excellentes pour ce qui est des enquêtes sur l’environnement, grâce à la disponibilité de l’imagerie spatiale et d’outils d’analyse de données de systèmes d’information géographique (SIG), de bases de données établies comme Global Forest Watch, et au partage de données provenant d’enquêtes récentes. Il cite en exemple l’archive #WildEye de crimes contre l’environnement constamment actualisée qui est publiée par le média d’investigation africain innovant Oxpeckers. Les reporters peuvent utiliser ses données sélectionnées pour suivre les affaires judiciaires, les saisies d’actifs et les arrestations liées à des opérations illégales de commerce écoresponsable, qu’il s’agisse des exportations de bois de Myanmar ou du trafic illégal d’espèces sauvages en Inde. “C’est un bon exemple d’outil très performant pour les journalistes qui enquêtent sur l’environnement, et les données proposées ont dépassé leur frontière d’origine en Afrique du Sud pour couvrir non seulement l’Asie, l’Europe, mais le monde entier”, déclare Brutelle. Il ajoute que, depuis son inscription en France en 2020 en tant qu’organisation à but non lucratif, et malgré un budget limité, EIF compte désormais 60 membres, y compris des reporters et des experts en datalogie au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord, aux Balkans, aux États-Unis et en Europe. “L’objectif d’EIF est de connecter les journalistes et les experts”, ajoute-t-il. “Nous souhaitons devenir un consortium mondial qui encourage les nouveaux outils et initiatives en matière d’enquête sur l’environnement.

  Bases de données internationales pour vérifier les antécédents des sites menacés

Lorsqu’on commence à enquêter sur une menace environnementale spécifique, qu’il s’agisse d’une nouvelle mine ou d’un déversement toxique, il est essentiel d’avoir rapidement accès aux règles de conservation de ce site, aux informations sur les enjeux environnementaux, sur l’historique de gestion du site et sur les préoccupations verbalisées par la communauté locale. Brutelle indique que les trois bases de données mondiales suivantes apportent rapidement des réponses à bon nombre de ces questions et en soulèvent d’autres.

  DOPA Explorer : “DOPA est un outil relativement simple, mais extrêmement utile. C’est un catalogue facile à utiliser de zones protégées dans le monde entier, y compris tous les types de zones humides, de réserves ornithologiques, de sites Ramsar [zones humides] et de réserves de l’UNESCO”, ajoute Brutelle. “Quand j’entends parler, par exemple, de nouvelles opérations initiées par des sociétés minières occidentales dans un pays africain, mon premier réflexe est d’en déterminer les coordonnées pour vérifier si ces opérations n’ont pas lieu dans des zones protégées signalées par les données de DOPA.” Produit par le Centre commun de recherche de la Commission européenne, non seulement DOPA (Digital Observatory for Protected Areas, Observatoire numérique pour les aires protégées) indique aux reporters les lieux sur la carte dont l’environnement est protégé par la loi, mais il place également ces règles en contexte en communiquant des détails sur les écosystèmes et espèces vulnérables dans la région. “L’observatoire est si utile qu’il propose également des informations sur d’autres problèmes de conservation dans les régions que vous observez, qu’elles abritent des espèces menacées ou des animaux sur liste rouge”, ajoute-t-il."
