Emily and Lute’s dynamic is something I’m really looking forward to in this au because I love the potential of “you’ve changed me for the better” types of ships

Both ship are sure cutie pie. One is "you've changed me for the better" and one is "to understand your lover's view".

We want to build a more determined Vaggie we guess? Like we love that Vaggie supports her lover's ideas and want to become her shield but at the same time, we think the series is kinda lack of Vaggie's own personalities cause her everything major in her life always revolves around Charlie? Like her reason to live, Charlie's dream is also hers,...

So in this AU, we want them to have different point of view. While Charlie think sinners can redeem then Vaggie supports the ideas but more like "Yes, they might be redeemed, but for how long? How long would it take for a Sinner who became Winner to fall again?". They both learn to see the reason behind each other's view and learn to accept that just because they are lovers doesn’t mean they will agree on everything. Charlie wants to help more people while Vaggie wants to protect Heaven. Conflict happens, but it helps them to understand each other more and their bond become stronger and stronger...

Rayday's Swap AU ~ Velvette

I actually really like how this turned out tbh so hope people on here like it too :3

Why there's a change in dress design - While I could've made her have a similar dress to canon!Rosie, I decided instead to base swap!Velvette's dress on pictures of black women from the victorian era ( considering Velette is black coded, if I'm not misremembering. ) I found a few articles, including this one, which had a small gallery of black women from the Victorian era I loosely used for reference. I'd say the article is a interesting read too for those who are interested.

Blacked-out eyes - I've mentioned this before in previous posts, but just to make sure everyone knows I'll mention it again. I decided to give swap!Velvette the black eyes to fit in with the other cannibals similar to canon!Rosie, while swap!Rosie get eyes similar to canon!Velvette.

References to Velvette's pilot design - I actually used a few characteristics from her pilot design due to the details just fitting better. Her eyelashes making her eyes more interesting, the white eyemakeup making her blacked-out eyes more readable, the drops on her puff sleeves, and the white band on her dress's torso are the main choices I pulled into the design.

Hat design changes - For her hat I decided to get rid of some of the accessories on the hat itself due to the items being hard to read what they are imo. Instead I gave her the spiderweb-patterened mourning veil not only to make the hat more interesting, but also because she would've been recently widowed.

The triangle and black drop on the lower part of her coat - This is more a reference to canon!Velvette's skirt seen in the reference image I chose for her. I did look at canon!Velvette's other outfits, but that's the main one I used.

Black/white and black/red stripes on her dress and umbrella - This is not only to mimick canon!Rosie's dress, but also reference Velette's arm warmers in her canon design.

Hair hair style - I decided to give her a low bun due to some of the images mentioned in the previous article had some of the featured women wearing similar hairstyles ( as far as I could tell. Idk maybe I'm just blind. ) I also think it just fits the design in general.

(Context: Adam is still Angel/The Leader Of Exterminator and has a Chlorokinesis/Plant Manipulation(I just really love the idea of Adam having Chlorokinesis/Plant Manipulation okay!?) While Charlie Morningstar is still The Princess Of Hell and daughter of Lilith and Lucifer. Lilith and Adam has more twin relationships than ex lover. DON'T FUCKING TRUST VAGGIE!!! SHE IS BASICALLY JUDAS ISCARIOT in this AU!! Anyway I might make the information later if I have time, you can ask me anything about this AU.)

[Adam groans, grabbing his hair as more vines and flower grow within the hotel, knowing what this means for him.]

Vaggie: Forgive her sir, I know—

Lute: WE.

[Lute Interrupting her, Vaggie just glare at her before looking back at Adam.]

Vaggie: "we" know that you don't want to, but we need every advantage we can get and getting the queen of hell will definitely help us.

Adam: I know! But she let the extermination happen to begin with. They just had a meeting and said, "Go ahead, make adam the leader and kill everyone"- (gasp) Wait, that's it!

Vaggie: Kill everyone?

Adam: No! She could get me a meeting with Heaven and Hell too!

Lute: Didn't we already try that?

Adam: Well. yeah with Charlie, she was… an pampered daughter. But She isn't in charge of all of Hell, well not yet. But that is not the point! It's mean that we could go to the top. There's sure to be some demons and angels who will listen.

[Adam scrolls through his contacts. In his contacts, he has Egg Boiz 1,2, and 3, before his thumb lingers on top of "Lilith". However, he was hesitant to call his sister]

Husk: What's the holdup? You got some siblings issues?

Adam: No, we just have never been close. Especially just how annoying I was.. After she and…

adam: …after lilith and "him" was vanish to the eden garden and you know, split after like many year, she never really wanted to see me. She calls, sometimes, but only if she like needs me to do something or she asked me how many.. My descendants I killed…

[Husk was aware that this is just an excuse that Adam does have issues with his sister as all the flower slowly turn into Purple hyacinth, he turns to the others.]

These r edits bc I was just figuring out their designs for the AU, I'll draw them normally another time (Husker isn't here cuz I can't find a good png of the mf)

In this AU Alastor started the hotel mostly because he randomly thought up the idea once and thought, "that's fucking hilarious, I'm doing that" + a secondary sentimental reason he'd kill me for saying (he got genuinely fully invested in the cause eventually)

He advertised it on his radio show suddenly out of the blue after 7 and a half years of radio (lol) silence. Alastor still owns Husker's and Niffty's souls but they're also obviously friends (or atleast close to it)

Also he can read tarot bc why not :3

Charlie is closer to her dad in this AU and more sheltered, adopting a more aloof, smug, and dangerous persona so sinners take her seriously, she also has a very slight condescending outlook towards sinners but she's at her core still compassionate and still views them as her people and want to protect them to a certain extent, and she still thinks the Exterminations are unnecessary and cruel, but she doesn't feel like she can do much about it since according to Lucifer's stories and discouragement, she knows heaven likely wouldn't listen much if at all, but when she heard of Alastor's little project it resparked hope in her and she decided to invest in it, becoming co-owner and funder for the hotel.

Angel Dust/Anthony never made a deal with Valentino and actually stayed in his family's crime/mafia business for the 1st half of him being in Hell, but his dad is a POS and kicked him out for being gay so he started doing s3x work, and then he met Alastor after he brutalized his harassers one day, and Angel wanted to repay the favor somehow. Alastor seems interested in him so they struck a deal (not a soul deal, just a simple deal) which has Angel/Anthony is under Alastors protection in exchange for Angel/Anthony's loyalty and assistance when needed (which is a rare case so Angel still feels like he owes Alastor). They grow friendly with time, and Alastor offers to have him be patient zero for his redemption project, and he accepted.

Vaggie/Vi is still a fallen exterminstor and still met Charlie the same way she did in the show, but after that they went their separate ways and Vi finds herself making a deal with Velvette. Instead of being a pornstar like Angel in the show, she is an influencer and a rockstar/singer, she does enjoy making music and playing the guitar but Velvette tends to overwork her and make her do things she doesn't really like for views/popularity. Velvette is the nicest to Vi/Vaggie compared to with her other employees (which isn't a very highly set bar tbh) but she also frequently break her boundaries.

Vi met Charlie again during one of her concerts and they got close and started dating. (Also one sided Velvette x Vaggie is sort of slightly maybe canon in this AU bc toxic Yuri is fun (and it's only fully one sided after Charlie and Vaggie/Vi started dating))

She helps manage the hotel when needed, but is honestly only there cause Charlie is.

Not much about Niffty changes tbh (she's perfect the way she is, utterly unhinged 😍) she's just a bit more mellowed out and less hyper (she's still hyper just not all the time like in the show) and she's also a bartender and has surprisingly good taste for alcohol, and also frequently makes borderline poisonous drinks while experimenting, but when she gets it right it's really good. Doesn't stop the others of being terrified of her drinks though

Husker is a more smiley and charming in this AU, using a laid back attitude to put people at ease and more willing to open up to him if they need to (he used to use the information people share as blackmail when he needs to back when he was an Overlord, although he never actually needs to spread anything, just threats), and he's still very observant but he's also slightly more unhinged- He's a sort of butler/cleaner for the hotel

He still gets grumpy time to time, but mostly when he's drunk, which isn't as often anymore ever since Niffty was put in charge of the bar (understandably so)

He has a bit of an anger issue and also gets annoyed easily, and sometimes makes unhinged threats as a sort of joke (they stop being much of a joke once you genuinely piss him off)

He likes things clean and tidy because it helps him pretend to be put together

He and Alastor are a bit friendlier compared to in the show, hes still one of the few people that knows more about Alastor, though hes still bummed about the whole being owned by Alastor thing (Husker can also read tarot to a lesser extent bc Al taught him for funzies and Husker thought it's interesting)

His gambling addiction is also ever so slightly worse

I absolutely love how of the (two) Hazbin Hotel role swap AUs that featured Alastor as either supporting or starting the redemption project I’ve seen and liked, they both put him in glasses and gave him a pony tail. That is what I call peak character design right there.

I have a question. I knew a lot about Emily and Lute's🥰💞, but what about Michael and vox's? How did their relationship start???

JusticeStatic's storyline in the AU begins after the main series ends. Vox was guilty of a felony, but thanks to Emily's success in convincing Michael, Vox was given a second chance to prove that he could change under Michael's strict supervision (This was Emily's idea).

So the two of them were stuck with each other and Vox had to live in Michael's palace so the King can have a better watch on him. Both Vox and Michael inherently did not like each other, but in the situation of having to be together, the two of them gradually got used to the other's presence. Over time, Vox also put away his charming, fake businessman mask because he knew that mask had no effect in front of the King of Hell.

Originally, they didn't even intend to talk to each other, but because Vox had most of his power sealed and Michael's palace was quite boring, the TV demon often appeared to bother Michael, making him feel extremely annoying. However, over time, Michael also discovered many aspects of Vox that he did not think existed.

Vox might not be as stupid as Michael thought. At one point he attempted to throw some unimportant papers to Vox for him to handle, but mainly to make Vox shut up. Unexpectedly, beyond Michael's expectations, the demon completed the assigned task quite well. Even with the sharp eyes of a businessman, he also came up with solutions that Michael had never thought of. This also left a good impression of him in Michael's eyes.

On a rare occasion that they had a serious conversation, Michael had always thought Vox would enjoy watching humanity writhe in crime and chaos, love to witness people's suffer but turn out, Vox just didn't give a damn about that. Don't get him wrong, Vox sure loves chaos and pain for others but that never is his number one priority. The demon only cares about what will bring most benefit for him, for his wants. If people being happy means he would get closer to his goal then he will make sure those bitches keep their smile still on their faces by one way or another.

While Michael hates the idea of sacrificing everything for desire, Vox is infatuated with it. For him, it is the blind pursuit of desire and stubbornness because of greed that makes human life in hell even more bustling, exciting and unpredictable because every day will pass like a mysterious and exciting gamble. Compared to angels who suppress their desires and live aimless, boring lives, wouldn't it be happier to pursue their ambitions and taste the sweet fruit at the end of the road? Like Princess Emily, for example. Didn't her dream also originate from desire?

Having finished speaking, he smiled a cold, evil smile of a scummy bastard while slowly enjoying the glass of Whiskey in his hand. At that moment, the King of Hell felt that the demon in front of him was no longer the usual flat faced TV that he knew. He vaguely saw an image of a sharp businessman in his 50s, proudly showing off a pile of money stained with innocent blood - a terrible bastard. Michael was disgusted by him, but he also didn't expect that the idiot he always despised would have such "profound" moments...

And it was also extremely interesting to see the person Michael thought was sharp a few hours ago turn into a rowdy child after losing a game of chess, just few taunts from Michael made the demon angrily flipped the chessboard.

In the end, Vox is still a hundred years old man, the "silence" between them will still happen. The moment the two stood side by side without saying a word.

The moment when Vox could be quietly smoking outside the balcony while Mike soon noticed from afar. Different from the look that irritated Michael the day before, different from the look with a sly smile the other day, even more different from the look of a noisy from before... There is something more "real" about that cunning demon. And before Michael knew it, he had unconsciously walked towards Vox.

Vox quickly realized Michael's footsteps were approaching. He turned back to look at the fallen angel and his expression immediately changed. He smirked and teased Michael a few words. Vox braced himself for a punch to land on his screen, but it never came.

This time, Mike just glared at Vox before ignoring the rest of his words and silently watching the explosions and screams from the city in the distance. Vox saw that the person next to him had no reaction to the sarcastic words. He could only roll his eyes in annoyance, then leaned back against the railing to light a new cigarette.

In that moment, a rare sight occurred. The King of Hell was currently calmly looking out at the chaos from afar while the demon he had always despised quietly leaned his back against the railing while inhaling a rich cigar…

Immersed in his own thoughts, Vox didn't notice when Michael's hand reached out. Michael was always curious about the taste of those cigars - the drug that always filled the body of the man next to him. Why is he so addicted to it? Perhaps today, Michael will break the rules and let himself try something "toxic"...

Michael suddenly snatched Vox's unfinished cigarette away, making him startled and upset, shouting, "Hey!" Michael continued to ignore Vox and slowly imitated the other person, taking a gentle breath. Gray smoke poured into his mouth, making the King of Hell frown slightly. The taste was exactly as he expected, extremely bad and completely unappealing... But Michael did not throw it away, instead continued to bring the cigarette to his lips and slowly enjoy it...

His thoughtful appearance while smoking and the image of the cloudy smoke escaping from the his dry lips made Vox's choke a bit, his face suddenly slightly warmed up. Uncomfortable with his own unusual thoughts, Vox turned to the other side of the railing, feeling the blood-scented Hell wind blowing onto the screen, causing Vox to relax a bit... And that wind also brought the smell of coffee that he always loved from the smoke of the person next to him...

Vox frowned slightly, then leaned his whole body against the railing, looking down... A rare peaceful atmosphere, both were immersed in their own thoughts and did not care about the other's presence at that time. It wasn't until Michael finished smoking that he quietly walked inside, giving Vox back the quiet space.

A moment later, out of habit, Vox reached into his pocket to take another cigarette, but this time he discovered that the pack was empty. Vox stared at the empty cigarette box for a moment while his thumb gently rubbed the golden letters on the box. Then, suddenly and without thinking, Vox flicked it, sending the box flying down. Luckily Michael wasn't there to witness it, otherwise Vox would have had to hear him complain about littering again. Standing just a moment longer, Vox turned on his heel and walked back inside, silently closing the balcony door.

Basically, their relationship will start really slow. It's a long amount of time to change from hate to love. Like it just their slice of life of understanding more about each other and find out that maybe the other wasn't that bad and eventually, slowly open themselves with the other and enjoy each others' company... This just some of what happen in their daily life when they live together. Sorry if you guys found them kinda messy and hard to understand because our explanation is kinda long and not to the point much. I guess t is is more lia an oneshot than a real ans to er the question.

But I hope you guy can at least see some reason behind why we ship them and even love them as we do?
