A final recap before my break!

Like I’ve said a lot, not leaving forever, just taking a break to avoid movie spoilers and just enjoy the holidays and my family as freely as possible for a little while. I lot of stuff will be cleared off my plate to just be with friends and family for a month or two, so I’m looking forward to taking the time with them and myself to just do what I want for a while.

While I’m gone, the blog may appear active, but there are a few key points:

The Ask Box and messaging will be completely closed except for a few friends in case they want to get a hold of me.

I will continue to answer requests in the time I find to enjoy it as I go instead of scrambling to get them all done. I won’t take requests again until I get to them all, if I can manage it.

I won’t be officially back until after I see the movie which doesn’t look like it’ll hit theaters in North America until late February which means expect me back around March. I really want to see it opening night, but I’m an adult with responsibilities and a child, and the theaters playing it are clear across town, and nothing is guaranteed to me. I do want to be back ASAP, though. (I will see it officially to continue to support the release and distribution of merch and media to North America - I won’t be pirating it.~) 

Other than that, I wanted to thank everyone, old and new followers, for making this blog such a rousing success - especially since most of it is based quite solidly in a culmination of observations and headcanons of a single, bored fan over-obsessing over a fictional bird person purely for fun (me). It especially warms my heart that there’s such a confidence and appreciation from people who request other characters as well, believing I can apply my abilities to their favorites as well. Just for fun, I wanted to highlight some neat stats from my blog in the time we’ve had up to this point.

And here are some fun stats about the request-athon!

Here’s a breakdown of all the characters that were requested. Unsurprisingly, Hawks got most - almost a third of all of them - but there was a huge variety of other characters as well. (Yes, even one Mineta; but dagnabit, I’ll do it anyway!) This doesn’t take into account repeat requests (same number, list, and character) which happened a surprising amount, but does show how popular they were and kind of the distribution of favorites among followers on my blog - though to really pin that down I’d need a different survey of which I am TOTALLY down to do at some point.

And this is how many requests were asked from each list. Again, repeats not taken into account, but Mistletoe was clearly the more popular of the two - I’d guess because I think it was the first list linked on my rules post.

I’m never gonna write for the dsmp fandom but if I did it’d be pretty funny to write a character that just sort of acts like a wandering trader and sells a bunch of random rare shit and is only peripherally aware of like... the whole plot. I don’t think they’d talk either. Might’ve been let into the sever in exchange for road building and Maintenance. Like the whole land around a town might be a wasteland but hey at least the roads intact lol.

Elige entre dos tipos de cadena, la fina clásica o la más gruesa de eslabones.
