Sheogorath's strawberry tart turned out so delicious. The only thing I had to substitute was the port wine because we didn't have any, and I used vintersaga in its place. I think with actual port wine it would have been better though. Also I was a little light on strawberries but next time I won't be. ❤️🍓❤️🍓❤️🍓❤️🧀
I've been cooking some things out of the Elder Scrolls Cookbook that I got for Christmas and it's all SO tasty I feel like a jarl....... decadent..... .......
A giant mystery box from the US? What could it be? None other than more fantastic work by @scrollsnsketchbooks, and some original art by Ry (nicatorshields on Instagram) that graced the pages of my brand new SECOND EDITION cookbook! My gratitude also goes out to @thana-topsy and @icicleteeth for contributing their incredible art skills to the recipe book.

However, in the Elder Scrolls Cookbook under the juniper berry mead recipe, it says "though Vilod has joined his ancestors, his mead lives on in Helgen and beyond". Vilod is a trans man. Redguard Rice tonight from the Skyrim Cookbook. Had to sub beef in for the lamb bc I don't have a lamb source but otherwise good! I love the aroma that filled my house making it.
Skyrim braided bread redeemed. I baked it at 350F instead of the 450F in the book plus I was little lighter with scooping the flour and added a little more milk. It needed a smidge more baking but it’s so damn good. I tossed some Swedish pearl sugar on top this time
My very first recipe from The Elder Scrolls Cookbook, and my very first bread recipe! This took me all morning and it finished just before work! It's not pictured here, but I also made Spiced Butter to compliment the Braided Bread.
