पूर्व विधायक की मौत की खबर सुन गांव में पसरा सन्नाटा

लखीमपुर : जमीनी विवाद के बाद पूर्व विधायक निर्वेंद्र कुमार मिश्रा उर्फ़ मुन्ना की मौत की खबर जैसे ही पूजा गांव के लोगों का मिली लोग दंग रह गए। पूरे गांव में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई। गांव वाले बताते हैं कि पूर्व विधायक का बचन पूजा गांव में बीता था। गांव के बुजुर्ग उनको याद करके बताते हैं कि करीब 50 के दशक में उनके पिता और बाबा परिवार के साथ त्रिकौलिया गांव चले गए और वहां बस गए।

रविवार को जब मुन्ना के निधन की मनहूस खबर गांव पहुंची तो बुजुर्गों की आंखों में आंसू आ गए।पूजा गांव के शैलेन्द त्रिवेदी, श्याम नरायन शुक्ला बताते हैं कि 50 के दशक में निरवेन्द्र की उम्र यही कोई पांच सात साल होगी। गांव में सब लोग प्यार से उनको मुन्ना कहने लगे। बाद में उनका नाम ही मुन्ना पड़ गया। पूजा गांव में ही जन्मे निरवेन्द्र मुन्ना का बचपन इसी गांव में बीता। गांव के बुजुर्ग उनके बचपन की याद करते हैं। गांव वाले बताते हैं कि करीब 50 के दशक में मुन्ना मिश्रा के पिता राजबहादुर मिश्रा पूजा गांव से अपने परिवार के साथ त्रिकौलिया थाना सम्पूर्णानगर चले गए। गांव में मुन्ना का बचपन बीता। यहीं की गलियों में खेलकूद कर बड़े हुए मुन्ना के निधन की खबर जब रविवार को गांव पहुंची तो लोगों के आंसू बह निकले। लोगों को मुन्ना के बचपन की याद आ गई।

Fuck the Labour Party leadership - takes them months on end to decide that members espousing anti semitic views should be expelled, but Campbell voting Lib Den is beyond the pale.

Hoey can go off about the Brexit Party and Nigel Farage all she likes, but the man who helped Labour win three general electiond and who has been tribally Labour since forever has been expelled.

I'm honestly aghast.

Still, I can't think of a better day for him to be expelled from the party. Goodness, if ever there was a time when a member would be morally vindicated for being chucked out, it's the day that the EHRC announced an investigation into anti semitism in the Labour party - especially after their dismissive response to said announcement.

Alastair Campbell is better than the lot of them, and I've never more felt better about not being a member.
