Shree Ganesh 3D Model Made Using Blender

Ganesh Chaturthi is on its way and I am on my way ahead to learn Blender. The form of Shree Ganesh has always been a matter of fascination as he is among those gods, according to Sanatan Dharmic traditions who have the body of a human and the head of an animal. Lots of artists across centuries have showcased their versions of Shree Ganesh based on knowledge, which was passed onto them through generations.
Meanwhile, any digital designer today now struggling to sustain for longer in their career should have a look at Blender. The people that made Blender have been considerate enough to make it available for free and we should appreciate that enough.

It's been a while, but I'm working on something bigger than I have before. I've decided to take a Crack at a short run manga, see how it goes, and if it's easy enough to fit into my schedule and the story progresses I will continue it. If I'm being honest, I think I've found the one thing I want to do for the rest of my life. An actual comic/manga. I just unfortunately lack any art credentials, I still lack a bit in the talent department, and I don't have any connections in the industry. Anyway, here's the characters designs at their very basic and their heights/ages. It does on fact connect to the comic I've already posted. When I fall asleep in "that world", I wake up in this one. I mean it goes a bit beyond that but still... just the basics for now lol

Hey @dollsahoy I tried your suggestion of a peplum for this one and it's great 💝
I used Vallejo model color acrylic for all the black painted bits and it's been like ... over 8hrs and it's still slightly tacky. Maybe I didn't shake the bottle enough? I haven't experienced this problem before but I never used this much of it before.
I won't spray additional layers for cheek blushing until the black paint is really dry so. Chalky cheeks for now :/
I KNOW I should use the airbrush if I want bright pink color on dark. I just keep thinking maybe THIS time ... and I had a light under color this time! Also I buried my airbrush under rat supplies and 3d printer supplies 🫣
I also know lots of y'all got opinions on darker blush colors for darker base skins I just. You know! I gotta get that bright pink! It's my favorite. I know it's not natural, that's not what I'm going for 😅 Same as my green elephant girl
Well we'll see if I ever achieve it on this doll, that black paint may be a Problem.

TIPS TO MAKE A FURSONA: PT. 1
Hello! Im Cereal (Or Vinny!!) ive been in the furry community for almost 5 years now and draw for a living, and today im teaching you:
How to make your fursona!
When you first join the furry fandom, while its optional, you may want to make a fursona to represent your anthro self! But if you dont know what it is, I have a definition! A fursona (a combination of "furry" and "persona") is essentially an anthropomorphized animal character that represents a person in the furry community. Someone's fursona usually reflects some aspects of the person's own personality, hobbies, and interests. It can be anything from a simple drawing to a detailed 3D model, cosplay, or even a full-body costume (fursuit). People use their fursonas to express themselves and interact with each other in the furry community.. Some of the most common fursonas in the furry fandom include foxes, wolves, cats, and dogs. Some less common but still popular fursonas are bears, raccoons, rabbits, and bats. There are also many mythical or fictional animals that furries may choose as their fursona, such as dragons, and unicorns (popularized by MLP) Some furries may even create hybrid fursonas, like tiger-dragon or wolf-cat. The most "basic" (no shame in this!) is the Wolf. Its generally seen as the default! Some uncommon fursonas in the furry fandom include:
Elephants
Sloths
Giraffes
Zebras
Deer
Owls
Penguins
Hedgehogs (Excluding Sonic!!!)
Turtles
Fish
Bats
Rhinos
Otters
Seals
Walruses
Anteaters
Scorpions
Snakes
Worms (yes, really, and they are beautiful.)
Some stereotypes about certain fursona species include: Wolves: Alpha males, tough and strong. Foxes: Sly, cunning, and quick-witted. Cats: Independent, aloof, and often aloof. Bears: Big, burly, and often cuddly. Rabbits: Soft, sweet, and cuddly. Dragons: Majestic, powerful, and sometimes aloof. Tigers: Strong, fierce, and independent. Owls: Wise, mysterious, and nocturnal. Pandas: Laid-back, cute, and clumsy. But!! Foxes have a very odd stereotype The "femboy fox" stereotype likely arose from a combination of factors. Historically, foxes in folklore and mythology have often been depicted as cunning, deceptive, and even trickster-like figures. This has often led some people to stereotype foxes as being sneaky, sly, and somewhat devious. Additionally, foxes are generally considered cute animals, which may have contributed to the idea of some foxes being portrayed as more feminine or "cute" in artwork and other media. Ultimately, the femboy fox stereotype is likely just a byproduct of these various factors and how foxes are commonly portrayed in popular culture.
Is it bad to fall into these stereotypes? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Everyone is unique and can make whatever they want!! Now that we have gotten past species and what a fursona is, now how to make one!
Creating a fursona is an exciting and creative endeavor that allows individuals to express their identity through an anthropomorphic animal character. To begin, start by contemplating what characteristics resonate with you personally. Consider traits such as personality, interests, and even your values. For instance, if you’re adventurous and energetic, you might choose a fox or a wolf, both of which are often associated with such qualities. Alternatively, if you identify with gentleness and nurturing tendencies, a deer or a rabbit could encapsulate those traits effectively. Using the aesthetics, traits and looks can help on the design aspects of your fursona. Think about the species you want to represent, the colors of their fur, and any additional markings or patterns that could convey your personality better. Many fursonas also include unique features, like bright-colored accents or accessories that reflect hobbies or interests—such as headphones for a music lover or goggles for an aspiring pilot. Drawing inspiration from various sources, including real animals, mythology, and even pop culture, can help you visualize and refine your fursona’s look!!!
Once you have a basic idea of your fursona's personality and design, it's time to give them a name. This name can be a reflection of their traits, an amalgamation of words you love, or even a play on words. The right name can further embody the essence of your character and make them feel more real to you. Finally, consider how you want to portray your fursona in different contexts, such as social media, art, or even attending conventions. Engaging with the furry community can also provide support and inspiration, as sharing your fursona with others often leads to meaningful connections and friendships among fellow enthusiasts. Creating a fursona is a journey of self-discovery and imagination, allowing you to explore facets of yourself in a fun and artistic way.
Here are some names! John William James Robert Michael David Richard Thomas Charles Joseph Mark Paul Peter Daniel Andrew Matthew Chris Christopher Sarah Elizabeth Mary Jennifer Emily Jessica Anna Amanda Hannah Ashley Leah Rachel Sophia Samantha Madison Olivia Emma Grace

Mini Lore Nugget #10
Mini Lore Nuggets - Masterlist
In the Will - The World Ep. Fin Diary Entries, we learn that the Black Pirates (which at that point includes Ateez) have the ability to spy on the Android Guardians by using a tiny blue butterfly drone presumably developed by Yeosang, which I explained as follows in my coverage of said entries:
Back in Deja Vu, Yeosang took note of the blue butterflies fluttering around Strictland and how they're so common they, despite their beauty, get fully ignored by the unfeeling Android Guardians. As a result, he studies their appearance and anatomy and creates a 3D rendering, which we catch a glimpse of in Deja Vu. Its appearance there is similar to the one of the pirate ship hologram we got to see in Crazy Form which leads me to believe this is their usual modus operandi when they develop tech. By the time Answer then rolls around, the 3D model has been turned into a fully functional animatronic with a built-in camera - what we call a drone. This explains why the butterfly in Answer looks more artificial than the one in Deja Vu - it's not organic, it's a delicate little machine. A spy gadget.
The real-life equivalent of this butterfly drone actually existed in the form Insectothopter which could fly 200 meters in just 60 seconds and was intended to be a listening device. Containing a teeny tiny engine to operate its wings, it was directed and guided by a laser beam, but was unfortunately somewhat useless since it couldn't withstand stronger winds.
When the CIA declassified a whole bunch of their documents in 2019, a lot of weird stuff came to light about their past experiments, one of which was the creation explained above. This and other animal-related projects were meant to help spy on foreign government projects, military operations, and more, since animals have a far easier time sneaking past guards undetected than whole-ass adult humans.
Throughout history, all types of animals have been used (and in many cases abused) in order to better the chances of victory - be that in the form of war elephants, war dogs, carrier pigeons, dolphins trained to echo locate mines in the oceans or warhorses.
More wholesomely, animals also have a long history of being adopted during times of war in order to boost morale and offer comfort and entertainment for soldiers, such as Wojtek the Bear who rose to the rank of corporal in the Polish army during World War II or Simon the Cat who was awarded the Dickin Medal for bravely defending the soldiers' rations from ship rats despite being severely wounded.
For further information about the CIA's animal training projects, I highly recommend this video:

Uh oh! Another yap post!
Hello everyone! Since I don't have any cool art or videos to post at the moment, I bring forth a hot take post about The Freedom Fighters. I've been growing an appreciation for all of them as of recently, except for one... Purple Elephant in the room... Let me explain why I don't like Rotor Walrus very much. Side note before we begin, if you like this guy that's fine! This is just my opinion, and explaining why I don't include him in most of my projects. Please be respectful if you wanna comment your thoughts. ^^
One nitpick I have about him that I have before getting into actual issues I have with him as a character, is his design. And how it got worse overtime. I hate how buff they made him in later issues of the comic. Bro is a WALRUS, one of the blubbery big boy animals of the entire animal kingdom. If any character is to be plus sized, HE would be the one to be! And he used to be in older panels. I love little details about his chunky belly, freckles, and slight tufts of hair. His newer design, even when not in 3D, looks kinda bland to me.
Here comes the issues I have with him as a character I've only watched Sonic STAM one time, but even so, I can remember important moments that most of the characters did. Like Sally helping Sonic with the final fight, Bunnie getting an entire episode dedicated to her, and being a big sister to Tails, and Antoine being ANNOYING AS FUCK. But for Rotor, I forgot he was there 90% of the time. That includes him next to other characters like Tails or Nichole who had significantly smaller roles. I had to LOOK UP if he did anything important to the show, that's how forgettable he was in the show. His design is great, but his personality falls completely flat for me. The most I can say about him in the show, is that it's cute that he gets a little flustered around the girls. It shows off a shy side that I wish we saw more of. Although one thing I regrettably remember about him in the show, is that he's responsible for the WORST episode in the entire show! Yippee Rotor, you left one impact on me at least...
If you don't know the episode I'm talking about, it's that one where he builds the ugly robot on the second photo, and it sexually harasses Antoine. Man I hate him in this show too, but he didn't deserve that.
Now to give him some credit, he had some great character moments in Archie, including a really well done and cute design. As well as fighting and standing up for others like in the pictures shown above. But other than those two moments, I can't think of anything notable he really does. I guess that's the point of a character who stands by the sidelines and all, but all his moments are usually overshadowed by another character in the Archie Comics. I also think his character development isn't as strong as someone like Antoine, who I went from HATING, to actively loving when I saw him in later issues. And even though Sally's arcs are a bit all over the place, she still changes significantly Pre-Reboot. His personality really doesn't change from the cartoon Pre and Post Reboot, which sucks! I feel like Manic from Sonic Underground, was a more complex and interesting version of him. I do find Rotor's backstory in Archie to be absolutely carrying him from being the worst character there.
I think if they met, they'd be total besties though. >w<
Another pro I'll give him is that his Anti Counterpart is really cool. Being a mad scientist kinda, and doing anything to keep creating his inventions. And also, using Rotor's Beta Name as his full name is a neat touch. I think his design is really ugly though, and I haven't found an excuse to make him a model for TMOM because he's so unappealing to me. His concept gave me the idea for Blue Prism, and Adams as a character. So thank him for Adams' creation lol.
Overall, I'm not a huge fan of Rotor. Compared to the other Freedom Fighters, he often leaves my mind due to the lack of cool moments, character development, or personality traits that make me remember he's a part of the squad. He kind of falls into that "Genius Boy" trope, but does nothing to make him stand out from the others in that trope from any other show. He's so inoffensive, that he's not even notable enough for me to call him "White Bread" like I do with other character's I think are boring. Maybe I'll gain more fondness for him if I rewatch SATAM again? But I kinda doubt it. I don't hate this guy, but I don't love him either. And that makes him my least favorite Freedom Fighter.
Hey thanks for reading my yap session! If you guys have your own thoughts, be sure to tell me in the comments, or ask me more about it in my Ask Tab! What other characters should I give my thoughts on? Anyways, I'm gonna get back to video work now. ^w^

[Review] Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo (GCN)
A pleasant day in.
I recently watched Aardman's new feature film, Vengeance Most Fowl, which is a follow-up to the plot of 1993's The Wrong Trousers, the second Wallace and Gromit short. But did you know that there was already a sequel in 2003, in the form of a video game by British studio Frontier Developments (mostly known for their theme park simulation games)? It's true! Anyway, I played it.
The plot is slight but makes for a decent W&G premise. The duo are visiting the zoo for the birthday of Archie the infant polar bear, who they have a connection to through the zoo's sponsorship program. But oh no! Feathers McGraw, the penguin criminal mastermind incarcerated at this selfsame zoo, has taken over and has enslaved the animals, including Archie, to further his schemes. As you make your way through the increasingly industrialised zoo enclosures (and secret underground mines), you must free the animals and ultimately foil Feathers.
The game world has a nice cartoonish vibe that fits the tone of the claymation shorts, including the dark and shadowy parts. The characters and animation don't look particularly clay-like but they're on-model; the staff evidently invested a lot of polygon budget in making the major players nice and rounded, and the other animals are delightfully Aardman-esque. Along the way Wallace has plenty of amusing blather, voiced as always [until he retired] by Peter Sallis. Feathers has some fun mechs and machines that fill in as boss encounters, while basic enemy types are an assortment of animalistic robots, animal collaborators, and the occasional zookeeper (which are also revealed to be robots). What happened to the actual zookeepers is not explored.
The game plays out as a puzzle/exploration 3D platformer, with the player taking control of Gromit (ie. the competent one). Wallace follows along almost like Yorda in Ico; you can call him, and occasionally have to guard or guide him out of peril. He's needed to fix various contraptions to enable progress, although it's mostly just repairing panels to open doors. He does come up with weapons for Gromit at key points, silly G-rated things like a turnip launcher and porridge gatling. You also find a torch, fire extinguisher, etc. although oddly two slots on the weapon wheel are never filled and remain blank at the end of the game.
Apart from the weapons, Gromit has a surprising number of moves. A crouch jump, Mario 64-style side flip, a wall rebound thing that I never found a use for, as well as basic combat moves including a breakdancing spin kick. He can cling onto ledges which I always love to see. There's also a roll that gives you a bit more horizontal speed and chain into a long jump, but it's tricky to use effectively. There's not a huge call for this expansive moveset within the level design, though.
The levels vary in structure, which is interesting. The first world in the elephants' jungle enclosure is a set of three mini-hub style stages, like compact Banjo-Kazooie worlds with a lot of verticality. The mine, lava, and factory stages that follow are a bit more linear, although there is still plenty of branching and overlapping. The polar bears' icy zone was my favourite, an open and expansive playground. The game then ends with a very on-rails obstacle course, with lots of "save Archie from the timed hazards" going on. Between levels are boss fights and vehicle sections, some of which play out as rail shooters or an Asteroids-style fight against a submarine.
It's all impressively solid considering this is Frontier's first game of this type. And maybe I'm just projecting because they're British, but I got some Rare vibes from this game at times. From the BK-lite structure and Gromit's coin-nabbing celebration animations to a slightly Star Fox Adventures soundtrack, to minor things like the health bar mimicking Conker's Bad Fur Day's chocolate squares but with crackers, the DK64-style giant keyboard activity, and the boat-mounted turnip cannon having googly eyes for no reason. There's even a Donkey Kong homage with a barrel-throwing gorilla!
Otherwise there's some nice touches in here, like not having a life counter, widescreen support (not a guarantee in 2003), and the collectibles unlocking clips from The Wrong Trousers to view (as well as a short behind-the-scenes documentary). Sure the camera is janky but that's to be expected from games of this vintage. And because it's a 3D platformer from the early 2000s, there is of course a slide section. I think these were mandated by the government in this era. After this game, Frontier got brought back to do the tie-in game for Curse of the Were-Rabbit, but this one interested me more for its unique story and I wasn't disappointed. Like the Wallace & Gromit shorts and films themselves, it was a nice pleasant experience.

As they say, Fuck it we ball.
This is not your typical fantasy world post as I just came up with a new setting that would be AMAZING in a visual medium.
So basically an unknown number of centuries ago, humanity was a spacefaring civilization that controlled the entire solar system. However, the The Fall happened. Nobody (not even me (or mete me)) knows what happened during The Fall, as everyone forgot it. What happened was that humanity lost their technology, and now everybody is planetbound. The most advenced civilization is venus with a mix of 1990's and 1860's tech, and even then they're in a crisis. You see, venus wasn't terraformed, and so the population had to live in the clouds. After all these years that passed, these cities are running out of fuel to stay afloat, so there's a huge crisis going on about terraforming venus with what they have. And they don't have a lot.
The moon is a very wierd place. It only has medieval technology, but it's the only terraformed body in the solar system. A majority of its population doesn't even know that they once lived on that blue dot in the sky. However, those that do, seek it with religious reverance. The people of the tranquil sea know that the lunar module is still there under the thousand of liters of water that make up the tranquil sea. And they believe that it can take them home.
Saturn has many people, but the thing that made me write this is in the clouds. Before The Fall there were ships deployed for people to live in inside saturn. From these ships, people modified them after The Fall for manual use, as they had forgotten how to use autopilot. These ships were transformed into cities, and they all have botanical gardens to generate oxygen. The cities are piloted by labourers pushing immense gears to move even more massove propellers through the saturnian "atmosphere". They stay afloat by balloons big enough to hold a herd of elephants. I wish I could draw or 3d model them, as the sights are fucking BEAUTIFUL in my head. Not even ai can satisfy this urge of mine.
I think that's it for the loredump y'all. Please ask questions, as this setting is so new that they might signifigantly affect the setting. And as always, @creepymutelilbugger.

I am LOVING the furniture brackets!! If it's not too much work, coule you maybe include what games the items are from/in? (Dw about it if it's too much though, the brackets themselves are probably very time consuming already)
I think maybe it is too much work but I'll list all the ones I know without googling here for you. I'm extremely familiar with NH's and NL's catalogue, and I mostly know which items are new to those games, but the older games I'm less sure about. if you wanna know a specific one, nookipedia is pretty good. I pulled all the images I'm using for the NL items from there
for the stand alone items, all of them except balloon dog, snail clock and lovely phone are available in NH
this isn't true 100% of the time, but here is a gist oh how items have progressed through the games:
the original game was developed for N64, and was ported to gamecube in the west. as a result these items have like 6 polygons and needed to be remade for the jump to DS. I believe most items made it to the DS, but I definitely know of a few that didn't make it (rip lovely stereo).
from DS to Wii, many items were ported directly as they were & use the same models (the ones with round parts were mostly remade though), so most items returned. same thing from Wii to 3DS, the 3DS has a tiny screen so the items could be reused again and most items returned. at this point though you can start to really tell the difference between the new and old furniture, since the new stuff has so much more detail and is generally less boxy
from 3DS to Switch EVERY item had to be remade. NH is an HD game and you can't be using models from 2005. as a result, less than half of the items in NL made it to NH (682 out of 1764) and many that did return look noticeably different
anyways here's a list of the tournament items and sets and where they're from to the best of my knowledge:
Items:
froggy chair - all games
leo sculpture - NH, NL (but it was stone and had glowing eyes in NL)
balloon dog lamp - NL
eggplant cow - definitely NH and NL, idk if it was in other games
dreamy wall rack - NH
throwback skull radio - NH
dried flower garland - NH
rose bed - NH
creepy skeleton - NH, NL, CF
elaborate kimono stand - NH
pergola - NH, but a similar item called "wisteria trellis" was a public work in NL
mom's plushie - NH
greenhouse box - NH, NL
soft serve lamp - I think all games? definitely NH and NL, but I think it's one of those classic forever items
cherry-blossom pond stone - NH
rocket lamp - all games, but it was called lava lamp in every game except NH
snail clock - NL
imperial dining table - NH, but a similar item called lazy-susan table was in NL. not sure if the lazy-susan table was in older games. possibly CF?
decayed tree - NH
lucky cat - all games
ACNH nintendo switch - NH (duh)
spooky cookies - NH
virgo harp - NH, NL, but it was wooden in NL
rescue mannequin - NH
kerropi bridge - NH, NL
tiny library - NH
scattered papers - NH, NL
lily record player - NH, NL
skull rug - NH
mom's cake - NH
star clock - NH
anatomical model - I think all games
moon - I think all games
hyacinth lamp - NH
cancer table - NH, NL, but it was all gold in NL
paper tiger - NH, NL, idk about older games
colorful juice - NH
music box - NH, WW, though it didn't play KK songs in WW, it just had one unique song that it played. I think it was an item for reuniting Katie and Kaitlyn. idk if CF had it too. one of the VERY FEW items that were in previous games to not appear in NL
bathtub with yuzu - NH
plain party lights arch - NH
cinnamoroll sofa - NH, NL
dreamy rabbit - NH
elephant slide - all games
fortune teller set - NH (though NL & CF had the creepy crystal)
cucumber horse - definitely NH and NL, idk if it was in other games
dessert case - NH, NL, maybe CF???
peach chair - NH
starry garland - NH
bonsai shelf - NH
afternoon tea set - NH, NL (NL girlies remember the struggle)
my melody clock - NH, NL
monster statue - NH
hamster cage - all games
wheat field - NH, NL, CF
dragon zodiac figure - NH, NL, CF, but it looked different in NL and CF
lovely phone - all games except NH
toy duck - NH
crescent moon chair - NH
retreo stereo - all games
titan arum - NH
resetti model - I think all games?? I think it's been the groundhog day item in every game. maybe not WW since it didn't have real holidays
rattan towel basket - NH
cherry blossom branches - NH
sets:
I'm gonna skip any "ACNH redesigns" since obviously they're only in ACNH. I don't consider any sets other than the sanrio sets and the mermaid set to be truly the same between NH and NL (all 7 of those sets were new to NL, so NH has NO SETS that are the same from older games)
dreamy - NH
wedding - NH
patchwork classic - NL
spooky - the version in the tournament is only in NH. the old version is in NL, CF and PG
throwback - NH
mush classic - NL, CF, WW
rococo - NL
elegant - NH
diner - NH
flower - NL
glowing moss - NH
ruined - NH
fruit classic - all games except NH
sweets - NL, CF
my melody - NH, NL
cabin - all games except NH
log - NH
green - all games except NH
modern wood - NL
insect - NL
mario - NH, but every game has had some version of a "nintendo set". NH is the only game to only have mario items
motherly - NH
kiddie - every game except NH
ironwood - NH
hello kitty - NH, NL
kerropi - NH, NL
house plants - every game except NH
stars - NH, kinda NL. NL had the zodiac items but they all looked different, while NH made the set more cohesive and added the glowing star items
gorgeous - NL, CF
nordic - NH
alpine - NL (very obviously added to show off the new customization feature)
construction - all games except NH
modern - all games except NH
chess - all games except NH
shell - NH
blue - all games except NH
cherry blossom - NH (but the clock was in NL)
cute - NH
lovely - all games except NH
rattan - NH (redesign of cabana, which is not in this tournament but was in every game except NH)
astro - NL
plaza - NH
fish - NL
moroccan - NH
kiki & lala - NH, NL
harvest - NL, CF, PG
mermaid - NH, NL
gracie - NL, CF
imperial - NH (redesign of exotic, which is not in this tournament but was in every game except NH)
cinnamoroll - NH, NL
regal - every game except NH
sloppy classic - NL
ranch classic - every game except NH
cardboard - NH, but NL also had a cardboard set
robo - every game except NH
classic - every game except NH

I've been making these guys for a long, long time. The house is three kilograms of concrete, the models were printed out from free access, but painted by hand. All except the boy in white. I made a 3d model of him, colored him and there he is! It's imperial stormtrooper armor, but who knows which elephants might have been exiled to Tatooine.

I made a 3D model of the Elephant fruit from Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
I haven't used blender for a good while but I really like how it ended up looking :) I also posted the model on Sketchfab and the Gmod and SFM Steam Workshop so people could use it for their 3D artworks.
