I spent a lot of time outside big cities and because I'm pretty outgoing and there's clearly genderfuckery going with me, I've had a lot of conversations with people for whom I was the first person they recognised as transgender that they were comfortable enough to really talk and ask questions to

They often eventually say like "But they get angry at me if I make a mistake!" To which I answer something about being sorry that they were unlucky and that it must have been a bad day for the transgender person or something for them to be brusque

ANYWAY I'd like these people to SHARE WITH ME all these transgender people that they're apparently hoarding in the countryside cause I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY

#i realised that when talking to my mom yesterday #wait who are these supposed trangender people supposesly getting mad at all of them #the answer is they probably havent met any but they're scared of it happening #because news and media keep only talking about transgender people being sooooo unreasonable and getting mad at people misgendering them #and suing people or something #anyway im doing my part making wverythkng less of a big deal for them hopefully 😭#but im tired #even if most people have been mostly polite and only rude by accident or out of ignorance #transgender

I only learned yesterday that we call it Pride Season in Canada! I was actually checking around after thinking it made little sense to call it Pride Month here since most of the big Pride events happen all summer long! Starting in June makes sense historically, but I'm happy to call it Pride Season from now on!! 🌈
