ADVANCE REVIEW ELEPHANT TREES / '4100' . I was super pumped to be asked to write an advance review of the new Elephant Trees single after being such a fan of their last release 'Uncomfortable'. Having had more than a few listens through, what I can easily say is that things have taken a deliciously dark and dreamy turn in the Elephant Trees camp. '4100' (Four-One-Hundred) is the latest track from the Manchester, UK quartet and it has all the makings of becoming an alt-rock/pop darling of the radio waves. Eerie and sexy and moody and alluring, it's everything you want from a dark alt-pop delight. . The sweeping vocals of Martha Phillips lead the charge and provide a perfect mix of seduction and strength that you can't help but be drawn to. It's simply spellbinding. Where 'Uncomfortable" treated listeners to a ringside seat of punchy anger-rock goodness, '4100' offers a more comforting and rapturous experience to distract us into the blissful unknown. The atmospheric mystery that '4100' conjures up is present throughout the entirety of the synth charged song and leaves you with a lasting impression of wanting to hear more and more. . As a regular listener of Sirius XM's #AltNation, I can easily see Elephant Trees fitting in perfectly with their current programming and '4100' is very deserving of a seat on their #AdvancePlacement segment. It should be safe to say that once released, listeners and fans of alt-rock/dark-pop are going to embrace the dreamy, dive in and devour '4100'. .
