Most deaths won't interest Louis (since he's just the sissi's lover). However, Olegg Death tends to be a bit smug (I think he takes after Pia sissi, lol), so he might be interested in Louis, who adores Death. It's so sad and beautiful to see Louis carefully kissing someone he can't reach.

And Death is damn good looking. Look at the shiny blonde hair. This is a commission I don’t regret one bit.

I'm somewhat unsatisfied with the simplicity of some of these lyrics in comparison to the complex intertextual prose of the original, but 1) it's nicely singable 2) it avoids weirdly placed syllable stress, which is something that always grinds my gears lmao. (Also, credit where credit is due: some of my choices were inspired by the official French translation used in Elisabeth Bruxellons 2022.)
